Starting with Normal Part 3

Ash is now at Nate's house, much to his surprise, Nate's family is very hospitable with Ash, he is being treated as a member of the family even though he is just a visitor. Nate has a mother and a sister named Rosa, and they also welcome him as well.

During dinner, they talk a lot and Ash notices that Nate and Rosa's mother was formerly a Team Plasma member, she left the team because she has Nate and Rosa. They also talk about how they have seen the error of what Team Plasma has done and they also mention Ash himself, even though the said person is in the same house as them.

Rosa asks, "So what are you doing in the Unova Region, Red? Are you going to challenge the Unova League?"

Ash says, "I am thinking about it, but the truth is that I am on a journey to find my true self. There is an accident that happened in my life, and I lost my ability to smile."

"No wonder I always see you in a frowning face..." Rosa's mother says, "We thought that we didn't make you feel at home and you are sad..."

"Don't worry, you are very hospitable. I'm glad to meet a family like you guys. Though I feel like I have to repay you somehow for what you have done for the night." Ash says.

"You don't really need to repay us. We're just doing what we can do to help." Nate says, and the other two family members agree with what Nate said.

Ash turns to Nate and says, "Nate, I heard that you are dreaming to become a Normal-type Gym Leader, is that right?"

"I am, that's why I have been finding these books from Nacrene City's Museum Library." Nate says.

"If that's the case, how about you show me your Pokemon? I want to see how well you'll be doing." Ash says.

Nate nods as they go to the backyard, which has a battlefield for them to use. Ash notices that Nate is using a balanced team, which consists of Wigglytuff, Audino, Bibarel, Indeedee, Toucannon, and the Lillipup that was given by Lenora yesterday. Ash teaches him about the knowledge and he stays at Nate's place for several days. With the training and learning, both Ash and Nate's Lillipup evolve into Stoutland and it learns a lot of Fang moves for the type diversity.

Even though Nate and Rosa enjoy Ash's accompany, they know that it is time for Ash to leave. Ash says, "Nate, Rosa. Even though you might not be able to see my smile, but I really enjoyed the time when I was with you two."

"Same here, without you, I wouldn't be able to learn a lot about Normal Type Pokemon." Nate says. "But I want to know where are you going?"

Ash says, "I am going back to my own place since it has been a while since I meet my siblings and my mother."

Rosa asks, "How about we come with you as well?"

"I don't mind if you want to come with me, but shouldn't you ask your mother for permission?" Ash asks.

"Don't worry, she will be glad to know if we are with you." Nate says.

"If that's the case, I'll wait for you to be prepared, and then we'll meet up at the port." Ash says.

Nate and Rosa agree as they pack their stuff, and their mother also agrees to let them go. Once they arrive at the port, they are surprised to see Ash owning a ship as they also climb onto it.

"Red? Can you tell us where is your home?" Rosa asks, and Ash says, "Well, since we have been friends, I might as well showing you my real identity."

"Real identity? What do you mean by that?" Nate asks, and Ash says, "Red is not my name. My name is actually Ash Ketchum."

The siblings just look at Ash with disbelief, but then they realize the Pikachu on his shoulder, as well as some of the clothing features. Nate asks, "So all this time, we are having the famous Ash Ketchum with us?"

"No way...but why would you disguise yourself? You're a Champion!" Rosa says.

"Do you remember what I said about having an accident in my life?" Ash says and the two siblings nod. "The people who hurt me are still on the loose, and they still have my Pokemon that they stole from me."

Nate and Rosa remember the news about how Ash's Pokemon were stolen, and they feel sorry for what he has suffered. Nate says, "But still...I can't believe that all this time I have a Champion that is teaching me about Normal Type Pokemon..."

"I think you are a little overreacting." Ash sighs. "But let's not talk about that. Our destination is an island that is owned by our family. We are thinking of making it into a region."

"Making a region of your own? That sounds like a big construction..." Rosa says.

"It sure is, right now we haven't started anything yet. But we'll be delighted to show you around the area if you want." Ash says as they nod.

As for Alice, she stayed at Max's place for a night, and Max can tell why Ash has a crush on the girl, the way she acts towards Pokemon and the way she cares about others are actually the same as what Ash did when they're traveling in the Hoenn Region. There was an accident with the Zangoose and Seviper fighting, and Norman was asked to deal with them. Alice volunteers to help out, and she manages to let both natural enemies be friendly towards each other. In the end, Alice gets both Seviper and Zangoose.

"So you're leaving?" The next day, Alice is preparing her stuff as she is about to leave the house, and Max feels a little lonely to see her leave.

"I have to leave since I am on a journey to find Ash, and I want to become as strong as him as well. Don't worry, I'm sure we'll be meeting each other again." Alice says and she finally manages to bid farewell to the family as they go to the Sinnoh Region.

When they go to the Sinnoh Region, Meowth asks, "So what Pokemon are you capturing, Alice?"

Alice says, "I was thinking about something like Purugly or Bibarel. But I am not sure."

Arceus looks at the buildings and he says, "You know, how about trying to raise a Pokemon that is not that common?"

"What do you mean?" Alice asks in confusion.

"What do you think of Porygon-Z?" Arceus asks, and Alice widens her eyes in surprise. "I have heard of this Pokemon in class...Porygon-Z was a Pokemon that results from the program error when putting a Dubious Disc on the Porygon2, right?"

"Some say an additional program made this Pokémon evolve, but even academics can't agree on whether Porygon-Z is really an evolution." Meowth says. "Where are we going to get this Pokemon?"

Arceus says, "Sadly, they are usually the prize Pokemon in the Game Corner, not to mention they need a lot of coins."

"Well, we got the time." Alice says, "And Meowth can help me out as well."

Meowth sighs, but he knows how the slot machines work considering that Team Rocket had a base under the Celadon Game Corner, so perhaps the Vilestone Game Corner works the same as well.

They try to play a lot of games, such as the slot machines and the Voltorb flip, Meowth is good at doing the slots with his swift movements, and Alice is smart with the Voltorb Flip games, eventually, they manage to gain 9999 coins for the Porygon.

"Now that we have a Porygon, how are we going to find a trade partner to evolve it into a Porygon2?" Alice asks.

Arceus says, "Let me tell you something, do you know how the trade machines work?"

Alice is confused, and Arceus says, "The trade machines are made from a mineral known as Link Stones, if you let a Pokemon touch the stone, I mean some specific Pokeon, they can also evolve as well."

"If that's the case, where do we find those Link Stones?" Alice asks.

After a while, Alice is in the underground as both she and Meowth are mining for the Link Stones. "Why did I agree to do this?" Alice mutters.

"I think you should stop complaining." Meowth says. "We have to find those Link Stones and they can only be found in the Underground."

"Yeah..." Alice sighs. After digging for a while, they manage to get a lot of Link Stones. They also get back to the Department store to purchase Upgrade and Dubious Disc, with both of them are sold for 2100 each, and then they use it on Porygon, after some tries, they manage to evolve it into a Porygon-Z.

"That sure is very tiring. I feel that my arms are sore..." Alice sighs. "If my mother saw me like this, I would be scolded..."

Arceus says, "But you have made good progress, that is not a bad thing."

After that, they are riding on the plane to Unova, and Alice has been sleeping a lot because of her tiredness. After getting to Unova, Alice feels her energy returned and Arceus says, "Since you're an aura user, you'll be able to heal quicker than a normal human."

"That's good to know, now that we're in Unova...I have a Pokemon that I heard from Mother a lot. It was originally a Normal Type, but when it mega evolves, it becomes a Normal and Fairy Type."

Meowth says, "You're talking about Audino, right? Those Nurse Joys in the Pokemon Center are having them as helpers in Unova and Kalos."

Alice decides to ask where to find an Audino, and luckily, Nurse Joy tells them that the Audino usually appears when there is rustling grass. So they decide to go to the route to find the Audino.

"I never thought that Audino will be that hard to find...I mean, what are the chances to find rustling grass?" Alice frowns.

Just then, she spots a Mega Stone on the ground, and she says, "It's an Audinite...perhaps we can just use this one to lure one out."

Arceus says, "That sounds like a smart idea."

At the same time, an Audino notices Alice as it walks forward, Alice looks at the Audino and says, "Well, there is one Audino."

Meowth says, "Yeah. I guess using Mega Stone sure is a good thing."

Alice walks towards Audino and says, "Are you looking for this stone? You can have it if you want, but if you want to Mega Evolve, you'll need a strong bond with a trainer to do it."

Audino stares at the stone and then Alice, then it decides to join Alice so that it can try out the Mega Evolution.

"Now I have six Normal Type Pokemon, three more Normal Type Pokemon and I'll be able to get to the next type." Alice says with a smile.

"But that won't be very easy." Arceus says as they continue to walk around to find some other Pokemon.

Here is a new chapter, and as you can see, Ash reveals himself to Nate and Rosa as he is bringing them to the Sevestar Island. Alice also captures some new Pokemon as well, I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will continue with the Normal Type Chapters, each of the type will have five chapters.
