Starting with Normal Part 4

After arriving at Sevestar Island, Ash has introduced Nate and Rosa to his family. Even though Ash isn't smiling yet, but they are glad to meet new friends. Nate and Rosa are also in awe at the sight of the island, they can't believe that Ash really is going to create a region as he said before on the ship.

"So Nate, I was wondering...since you like to use Normal Type Pokemon, do you want to be our Normal Type Gym Leader of this new-made region?" Ash asks.

"Really? You're going to make me a Gym Leader?" Nate asks in shock. "I mean...I like it, but...can I do it?"

"Don't worry, I'm sure you can do it." Ash says, "Right now we will be having five Gym Leaders and an Elite 4 member already. What about you, Rosa?"

"No thanks, I am not interested in battling." Rosa says.

Mark says, "Brother, I want to know, are you considering having her be your Elite Four member?"

"Her?" Ash asks, but then he realizes who he is talking about and he blushes. "I mean...I...well..."

"Oh my, is Brother blushing?" Golly says with a smirk, and Ash turns his head and mutters, "Shut up..."

Nate asks, "What is that all about?"

Aurora says, "It is a long story, but Ash, from what I've heard from Valerie, Alice is also looking for you. And Norman told me that Alice has been finding you and she says that she doesn't care if you can't smile. I'm sure that she still loves you and she wants to help you."

Ash sighs and says, "You're right...If that's the case, please tell her that I'll be in Lumiose City, I think I might have an idea how to use the money that I earned in my journey."

This causes them to get confused as Ash leaves them alone, Rosa asks, "If Team Rocket stole his Pokemon for money, why can't they just steal his money instead of his Pokemon?"

"That is a good question as well..." Aurora sighs, "Team Rocket steals his Pokemon and then sells them for money, I don't know what they are actually thinking, though..."

Ash is at Lumiose City as he walks around with Pikachu and Arceus by their side. Pikachu says, "So you really are going to see Alice?"

"I really don't want to let her see how sad I am now, but after everything, she still cares for me a lot." Ash sighs. "I don't see the reason not to."

Just then, they see an area with the police surrounding, Ash asks officer Jenny, "Excuse me, is there something wrong?"

Jenny says, "We have witnesses saying that Team Rocket has occupied this place, but we searched for this place and we found nothing."

Ash realizes that this is the place where Alice manages to get his Pokemon back from the traitors, and he nods. Since they are not here anymore, which means he doesn't need to worry about them in Lumiose City. He also notices an advertisement with the house on sale, the house is located at the hill close to Lumiose City, and from the balcony, it sees the whole city in view. He decides to purchase the house as he contacts the estate agent, then the staff member shows him around the house and he likes it, especially with the study having a window that looks at Lumiose City, so with the money, he purchases the house.

Arceus says, "What are you going to do with this house? You already have a castle in the Sevestar Island and a house in Kanto."

"This will be my Normal Type base. Gino will be an author in this house." Ash says.

"Gino? So that is the name of your Normal Type form, right? What about Red?" Arceus asks.

"Red is not one of my forms, just because I changed my hairstyle and my facial features, I'm still Ash. My full name is Ash Red Satoshi Ketchum." Ash says.

"I see, so Red is just one of your middle name." Arceus says with a nod.

"Yeah...I think I will need to capture a new Pokemon..." Ash says as he decides to put the stuff in the study while heading towards the city.

At the same time, Alice is showing a determined face, as she is ready for her Pokeball. In front of her is a Bouffalant, as it is charging at Alice. She roars as she throws a Pokeball, capturing the Bouffalant as it goes into the Pokeball.

Meowth says, "Why were you acting like a matador? It was only a Bouffalant..."

Alice says, "A girl can dream, you know. People think I am weird to dream all those things, that's why I've been bullied in school..."

Arceus says, "No wonder you have scars that are covered by your shirt." Arceus says with a sigh. "But Alice, I have some good news. It is about Ash."

"Ash?" Alice is delighted as she asks, "Did you know where he is?"

"I am not only with you, but I'm also with Ash as well. At first, he doesn't want to see you because of his own problems, but after hearing what you have done to help him, he wants you to go to Lumiose City so he can talk to you." Arceus says.

"Really? Ash is back in Kalos? I will definitely want to see him again." Alice says in a delighted tone.

After rushing back to take the plane, she gets to Kalos with the 8-hour flight. Once she gets there, they are walking on the streets of Lumiose City, and Alice asks, "Arceus, did Ash tell you where I should meet him?"

Arceus says, "I am not sure."

Just then, they see a boy petting a dirty Furfrou, the boy has a Pikachu by his side, and he says, "It's okay, Furfrou. You don't have to be scared, I know you are trying to survive in this world. How about you come with me, I'll make sure you won't be beaten for stealing food again."

Alice notices that the boy is emitting a soothing aura, and the Furfrou is now calm and he agrees to join his team. "Ash..." Alice mutters, and the said boy hears the voice as he turns around. Both people are facing each other, and their faces are starting to heat up. In front of Ash, it is a white-haired girl who he has a crush on, and he takes a breath and asks, "Alice? Is that you?"

Alice gasps as Ash remembers her even though it has been almost ten years since their last meeting, and she rushes to Ash and hugs him. She says, "I can't believe I finally get to meet you..."

Ash sighs and says, "I'm sorry...I really don't mean to..."

"I heard everything from Arceus, you were avoiding me because you don't want me to see the face that can't smile. But I want to tell you that no matter if you can smile or not, I will always be by your side." Alice says.

"Alice..." Ash says with an unease tone, as people are watching their reaction. "We're in public..."

Alice gasps as she realizes what she was doing, and she quickly breaks the hug with her face still red. Ash says, "Why don't you come to my place? We can talk a lot there."

Alice nods as they quickly rush through the crowd and go into the house, Alice is surprised to learn Ash buying a house in this city, after staying at the place, Alice asks, "So Ash...I heard everything from your parents, I'm sorry that you suffered all of that..."

"You don't need to be sorry, I'm glad that you helped me get back some of my Pokemon. I heard what happened about my Tauros, can you send it out so I can talk to him?"

Alice nods as he takes out Tauros. The Tauros is still in a depressed mood, until he sees Ash in front of him. As Ash is trying to soothe Tauros, Alice notices the dirty Furfrou and says, "Do you want me to clean you up? I learned some skills of styling and I can help you out."

Furfrou looks at Alice with a nod, and Alice starts to clean up his body. At the same time, Ash says, "Tauros, I'm very sorry...If I've been a good trainer, I wouldn't have let you and the others being taken, and you wouldn't have to see them being slaughtered."

Tauros moos a little at Ash, and Ash says, "Alice and I are a couple right now, and we will destroy Team Rocket. You are a big boy, and please don't be sad anymore."

Tauros nods as he lets him play with the other Pokemon. Ash goes back and sees that Alice is styling a Furfrou, he asks, "What are you doing, Alice?"

Alice turns and says, "Ash, did you like it?"

Ash notices that the Furfrou is having a Star Trim, he says, "That's amazing, Alice. But what matters is if Furfrou itself likes it."

Furfrou licks Alice's face to show affection, and Alice says, "Looks like he likes it."

"Yeah." Ash says. "Maybe you can be a good stylist."

"You think so, Ash?" Alice asks with a faint blush. "I'm glad that you think of that."

As Ash shows Alice around the house, she notices the study and says, "That sure is a good view if you ask me."

"I know. This is where I am going to do my work as an author." Ash says.

"You're going to be an author?" Alice asks in surprise. "How come I never knew about that?"

"I was thinking of using my aura to create 18 different disguises, and the Normal Type one is going to be an author." Ash says.

"You can do that? That's so cool." Alice says.

"And now that I think of it, how about you also make your Normal Type one a stylist? Judging by how you're styling your Furfrou, it shouldn't be a problem for you." Alice says.

"You mean it? I mean, are you sure I can become a stylist?" Alice asks in surprise.

"Of course. But if you're doing a disguise, you'll have to set a name for your disguise." Ash says, and Alice thinks for a second and says, "How about Janine? Do you think it is a good name?"

"Every name is good on you." Ash says. "You don't need to worry about it."

Alice nods and she looks at the computer, she asks, "What is this story? When the World Hates You?"

"This is one of my stories, the main character of the story is being booed by the whole world, but everything changed when an angel comes to his life." Ash says. "I have been written ever since I came here from the plane."

"I see..." Alice says, but before she can ask some more, Ash gets a call and it's from Professor Kukui. After answering the phone, Ash widens his eyes and he says, "I'll be right there."

Alice asks with worry, "Ash? What is going on?"

"One of my friends is in danger. We have to go to Alola now." Ash says, and Alice nods, also wanting to come along to the Alola Region.
