Normal Type Pokemon Part 1

Rattata: Lillie and I were walking on the road of Kanto Route 1, which is connected to Pallet Town and Viridian City. After walking a while, we are getting hungry, thus we decide to take a break and then cook our meal. It is a good thing that I know how to cook a meal, so I don't need to worry about making lunch. I forgot to mention one thing, we will only become Ashlie when we are going to enter the Gym or other competitions like contests and Showcases. Or else we are separated and we will have lunch together as a couple will do. While we are having a meal, we find a lone Rattata that is hungry for our food. As we are Arceus and Mew, we like to share our food with Pokemon. Though we are a little surprised as Rattata lives with a group. As we ask what is going on, he tells us that he was chased away from his group because he is weak. After seeing how it uses its Hyper Fang and Super Fang, we think that the Rattata is not that weak, it has potential, so we decide to capture the Pokemon as it grows a liking to us.

Raticate: Rattata has been training a lot and it has become stronger, and its fangs are also sharper to deal more damage when battling against wild Pokemon and others. After the Celadon City Gym, we decide to head west as we got to Route 16, which is famous for the Cycling Road. It is there when we find a group of Raticate, they are our Rattata's former group. Not only they aren't going to recognize Rattata, but they also taunt him a lot to make him depressed. We know it is time to prove them wrong, as we have our Rattata battling against their leader, which is a female one, considering it has shorter whiskers and lighter fur. Rattata was not doing well as the boss Raticate uses Scary Face to intimidate him. Rattata's attitude of never giving up causes it to evolve into a Raticate, and it goes for the Electric moves like Wild Charge and Normal moves like Hyper Fang, the boss Raticate is eventually defeated. Instead of having Raticate rejoin the group, the group just runs away in terror. Raticate doesn't mind as he has us as a family.

Meowth: Well, you probably know there is a group of three who are chasing after my other self known as Team Rocket. Jessie, James, and Meowth. To tell you the truth, Jessie and James are our disguises. Surprised, right? Anyway, if you're wondering why we do this...let's say that Team Rocket is evil, and the International Police led by my mother needed some spies among their ranks. We volunteer to be a part of them under the disguises, and since we don't want to be recognized, we have to change the ways of our attitude, like Lillie, being Jessie, has to be a person with the Princess Syndrome, thinking highly of herself and forced others to agree, and for me, I'll just keep myself as collecting cards and bottle caps are also my favorite. Before we started our journey, we were surprised to find a talking Meowth in Kanto Route 5. He learns how to stand and talk like a human so that he can impress a female one, but he was rejected. After hearing what happened, we asked if Meowth wants to join us, as we will not treat it like a freak, and he agrees in the end. After that, he has been helping us with a lot of operations as Team Rocket after my other self started his journey.

Persian: As the Team Rocket Leader, Giovanni, has a Persian, Meowth has vowed to become the top cat and prove that he is stronger than other Persian. As we are on a quest to complete the Pokedex, Meowth's decision is giving us a headache, it means that we are going to capture a Persian of our own, and we can't mention it to Meowth or else he will go on a rampage. Lillie decides to distract Meowth by giving him a yarn ball to play while Chuster, Shiny, and I go to find a Persian of our own. On Route 7, we find a Persian who is looking at us with the tail straight up. We knew that it is a signal that it is about to pounce and bite. Chuster and Shiny have been fighting the Persian so hard, but Persian is not going to give up and it manages to tire both Chuster and Shiny. Meowth realizes what we were doing and he wants to be the one to fight Persian. At first, we are scared that Meowth will be mad at us for keeping him a secret, but quite the opposite. Meowth knows that he can finally prove a Persian wrong. After defeating the Persians with the new move Pay Day, we manage to capture the Persian and congratulate Meowth. Even though Meowth didn't like Persian, but the two of them have become friends in the end.

Lickitung: As Jessie and James, we had a Lickitung that we traded from a person on Route 18. He just wants either a Slowbro or a Golduck, so we just fished out a Slowpoke and evolve it into a Slowbro to do that. But that Lickitung was also traded away in Johto for a Wobbuffet, it sure is ironic if you ask me. But after going to Sinnoh, we capture another Lickitung when we are on our way to Veilstone City for a Gym battle. It stole our Poketch using its tongue, so Lillie and I chased after it. Lickitung's great strength is the tongue, as it can be moved like an arm for grabbing food and attacking, the salvia on the tongue also causes Lickitung to stick onto stuff. But we aren't giving up still. Lillie and I have experience with Pokemon, so it will be easy for us to defeat it and capture it. After capturing the Pokemon, I must say that we got our Poketch back, but they are now gooey and unfunctional. It took Lillie and me a lot of time to fix it though.

Lickilicky: To evolve a Lickitung into a Lickilicky, we have to get it to learn the move Rollout. It is a good thing that the level we captured the Lickitung is 20, and it learns Rollout when it gets to Level 33. Our Lickitung is a glutton, as it eats a lot, Lillie and I come up with an idea to make it lose a little weight. We decide to give him exercise by rolling. We set a round-shaped course as we run while Lickitung rolls. There are some times that Lickitung didn't want to roll, as it tries to run using its two legs. But we keep encouraging him until he manages to learn the move and defeats a Magmar in battle. It also evolves just after it learns the move, much to our delight. Now I want to admit that the way it rolls is really funny and it is funnier when it runs on two legs. You could see Lillie's reaction after seeing how it goes.

Chansey: In the Fuchsia City of the Kanto Region, there is a famous Safari Zone where we can only use Safari Balls, Baits, and rocks instead of Pokemon. Lillie and I decide to have a competition to see who gets the rarest Pokemon. Since we are Ashlie when we fuse, we can also see her memories. Lillie finds a Chansey and she knows that it is so rare as it has only a 1 percent chance to encounter. We see a lot of Chansey in the Pokemon Centers, which might be the reason why they are rare to find? I am not sure about that. Anyway, Chansey is trying to use Sing on us to get away, but after throwing a rock, it trips and Lillie uses the chance to throw Safari Balls at them. After capturing the Pokemon, Lillie wants to use this Pokemon to see if she wins, but too bad, I got a Dratini, which means I am the winner. I admit the way she pouts after losing the game is so cute.

Blissey: Chansey is not a good battler, considering that it has weak Attack, Defense, and Special Attack. But it likes to heal our Pokemon, especially when we aren't going to get to the Pokemon Center. After arriving at Johto, it continues to help to heal Pokemon in need, and Lillie also comes up with a story for the character Jessie of Team Rocket. After showing a lot of kindness, it evolves into a Blissey with high friendship. After it evolves, it shares its egg with us as it wants us to feel happiness. I have to admit, even one bite is enough to bring us a lot of smiles. Not only that, it helps me get a Lucky Egg, which is an item that raises the amount of experience after the battle. Whenever a Blissey finds a weakened Pokémon, it will share its egg and offer its care until the other Pokémon is all better, and when we encounter some bad guys, she also uses the egg to make them stop what they are doing and become kind to us. I have to admit, the egg is really powerful.

Happiny: When we are walking in Ravaged Path as we are going back to Canalave City, we find a Luck Incense after surfing and rock smashing. The Luck Incense works like an Amulet Coin, which doubles the amount of money given. We also use the chance to go back to Solaceon Town using Fly, as there is the Day Care and normally, when Chansey and Blissey lay eggs, they will produce Chansey eggs, but if Chansey is holding the Luck Incense, then it will produce Happiny egg. We decide to try it out by using Blissey with a Ditto. Blissey is a female-only Pokemon, so Ditto is the perfect Pokemon to mate with it. After getting the Happiny egg, we decide to wait until it hatches just like the other eggs. Once the egg is hatched, the Happiny wants the Oval Stone that we found in the Lost Tower of Route 209. We gave it to Happiny and by training, it evolves into a Chansey, I mean, it sure has been a short amount of time when we are with Happiny...but we don't mind at all, the more healer Pokemon we have, Blissey won't need to lose more Power Points for Soft-Boiled.

Kangaskhan: As for Kangaskhan, it is also one of the Pokemon Lillie captured when we compete in the Safari Zone to get the rarest Pokemon. It turns out that Chuster has a bond with the Kangaskhan as he has stayed in the pouch of the Kangaskhan's mother for once. It is a nice story, and it joins our team after talking with Chuster a lot. When we are in the Kalos Region, we go to the Glittering Cave as we want to find some fossils. After getting to a dead end, we find a stone sparkling on the ground and that is a Kangaskhanite. We are really lucky when we find Mega Stones. Anyway, we used it on our own Kangaskhan, and we are in awe at its ability, Parental Bond. This move allows it to attack twice, with the mother and the baby attack together. Lillie also mentioned how similar it is to us as we also fight together.

And this is the first part of the Normal Type Chapter. I have introduced the ways that Ash and Lillie capture Pokemon as this is a journal. I hope you like this chapter and the Normal Type Chpater will continue.
