Chapter 2: Start of the Journey
At the Galar Region, there is a stadium that is filled with crowds of people, and a man is waving at the crowd and he walks to the middle of the stadium. The man says, "Welcome, one and all! Welcome to the wonderful world of Pokémon! Our beloved Galar region is a wonderful place, with thriving nature, beautiful cities, and many Pokémon with which we share our lives!"
He takes out a Pokeball and says, "As you know, our society is able to thrive thanks to help from these mysterious creatures that we call Pokémon."
He throws the ball and comes out a small orange elephant Pokemon, not only that, some Pidove are flying past them and Rose continues, "Yes, Pokémon are all around us—in the sea, in the sky, and even with us in our towns! And those of us who choose to raise and train Pokémon to do battle and compete, we call Pokémon Trainers!"
The crowd is cheering wildly, and the man says, "Oh! But I'm getting carried away. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rose, and it is a pleasure to be here. Now turn your gaze to the Galar region's greatest Pokémon Trainer, your undefeated Champion...It's time for Champion Leon's exhibition match!"
Fireworks are shooting into the air as a man with a cape appears in front of them. Behind the man, there is a Charizard. The man named Leon strikes a pose by reaching his hand to the air, and the crowd is cheering for their favorite Champion. In front of Leon, there is a man with a Pokemon that is made of steel.
"Exhibition or not, Leon, your pristine record is about to end—when I beat you here today!" The man declares.
"You know I don't lose battles, Raihan! Charizard! Gigantamax!" Leon says as he recalls Charizard into the Pokeball, with the band on his wrist glowing red, and the Pokeball starts to get bigger and bigger. The crowd is in awe as Charizard is sending out, it has become the same as what Delia had shown Ash that other day.
In the Postwick in the Galar Region, two girls are sitting on the sofa watching the battle between Leon and a person named Raihan, the first girl says, "Leon is going to win this match again."
The second girl says, "Yeah, Raihan won't stand a chance against Leon."
Just then, the doorbell rings, and they hear a boy's voice, "Hello, hello!"
The two girls turn to see the boy walking into the living room, and he says, "Oh my, Alice, I didn't know you are here in Gloria's house as well. Good to see you two here."
"Same here, Hop. Though it sure is a surprise visit." Gloria says.
Hop notices Gloria's phone and asks, "Oh! That your flash new phone, Gloria?"
Alice says, "Yeah. Gloria and I were watching Leon's exhibition match."
"But you can't cheer him on with your hands full! You know the only way to properly cheer on Lee would be with his famous Charizard pose! " Hop says as he strikes a pose, causing both girls to sigh.
At the same time, Gloria's mother walks into the room and she says, "Hop! Didn't expect to see you here today, dear. Isn't this the big day?"
"Yeah, that's exactly why I came running over to get Gloria and Alice! Never mind watching the match now! I've got it recording at home anyway. I record all my brother's matches."
"I see." Gloria says as she switches channels, and then they see the match between Gladion and Ash on screen. "Oh my goodness. It's Ash Ketchum."
Alice says, "You're right! I can't believe that it is him. And he won the Alola League! That is so amazing!"
Hop says, "Yeah, my goal is also to be like him as well. If only I can have a match with him as well."
"You will be destroyed by him." Gloria says. "Alice, you have met Ash before, right?"
Alice blushes and says, "Yeah, back at my house. He defeated my mom and got her badge. I thought that he could win the league in Kalos if it wasn't for Alain..."
"You are so lucky, I really wanted to meet him." Gloria says.
"I am sure that you can meet them." Gloria's mother says, much to their confusion. Gloria asks, "What do you mean, mom?"
"The Ketchum Family has been the royalties of the Galar Region, it will be possible that he will return to our region." Gloria's Mother says.
"That is so cool." Hop says. "That reminds me...Come with me, Alice and Gloria! He should be here any minute! And Lee always brings presents when he visits, so I wouldn't forget that Bag if I were you!"
Gloria groans as Hop always teases about the bag that she got from her mother. Hop says, "Now I've got to run! See you at mine later!"
After Hop leaves the house, Gloria says, "Why does he have to tease my bag every time he comes here?"
"No idea, but Hop is right, Leon is going on a visit and if things are going well, we will finally become trainers to attend the Galar League."
"You're right." Gloria says with a smile. "I can't wait."
As they are outside the house, Hop is at the doorway and he says, "Hahaha! Have a look at you, Gloria! That old Bag looks like it could pull you over! At least we know that it should hold anything Lee might bring, even if it's as big as a Snorlax!"
"Yeah, and I wouldn't want to hear any more about you teasing about my bag." Gloria mutters.
Just then, they hear a sound of a tackle, and they see a sheep Pokemon that is bumping into the fence.
"A Wooloo... But what's it doing there?" Gloria asks in confusion.
But after seeing how it is tackling the fence, Hop says, "Hey! You silly Wooloo! I see what you're up to! Don't go using Tackle on the fencing!"
The Wooloo ignores Hop as it continues to crash into the fence. Alice sighs and says, "Hop, just let me try." She walks towards the Wooloo and puts her hand on the Pokemon, "Now, you listen! No going past that fence! No! Everyone knows there are scary Pokémon living in the Slumbering Weald!"
Wooloo nods at her words and then it runs off, Gloria says, "Wow, Alice. How do you manage to do that?"
"Aura." Alice says. "My family is the second Aura Users, Royalties hailing by the Kalos Region overseas."
"Oh right, and speaking of which, Ash Ketchum is also an aura user as well." Hop says.
"Yeah, it will be great if we can share our Auras." Alice says.
"Now that that's taken care of... How about it, Alice and Gloria? Let's race! Bet I can make it to my house first, what with you lugging about that big old Bag!" Hop rushes off, and Gloria is in fury and she says, "Now you have done it, Hop! Come back here!"
Alice sighs as she chases after the two of them as they head to Hop's house. After getting there, Alice has been trying to keep Gloria from trying to strangle Hop about her bag, while they get into the house and greet Hop's mother.
"Mum! Is he here?!" Hop asks.
"There you are at last, Hop! Oh, and you've brought along Alice and Gloria. Hello, dears." Hop's mother greets them.
"Yeah, yeah, but where's Lee? Have you got him crammed in a cupboard?" Hop asks.
"He's still not here yet! For the hundredth time...Honestly, Hop, you must learn to some patience! He's probably only just arrived at the station in Wedgehurst." Hop's mom says with annoyance.
"Then that's where I'm going! You know Lee is hopeless with directions. I'll make sure he doesn't get lost on the way!" Hop says.
"Oh, will you?" Hop's mother asks Hop. "Yes, that probably is for the best..."
Hop turns to Gloria and Alice, "You've got to come with, Alice and Gloria. You've still never met my big bro, right? You can't miss out on your chance to meet the undefeated Champion! I'll wait for you out on the route!"
After Hop leaves, Gloria says, "Well, there he goes again..."
"But that's Hop of course." Alice sighs.
Back in Kanto, after going back to the house, they see a man sitting in front of the table, he looks like Sir Aaron, Delia notices the man and she quickly rushes to him.
"Oh, Delia, good to see you again." The man says as they share a hug.
"Adam, I am glad you are back." Delia says, but then Adam notices the sad aura coming from her wife, and then he asks, "What happened? I notice that you're not feeling well."
Delia frowns and says, "It's Ash..." Then she explains the betrayal to him, and Adam widens his eyes, "I can't believe it! How dare they say that my son is weak? When I see them again, I'll be sure to..."
"I know, Adam." Delia says. "But right now Ash has taken the words into his heart, so right now, he doesn't come out of his room and I am worried about him."
Adam nods and says, "Let me talk to him. I'll make sure that I knock some sense into him."
Delia nods as Adam walks into his room, Ash is just staring at the cups he owned throughout the journey as well as the badges, Pikachu has been looking at him with worry.
Adam says, "Ash." This causes Ash to break the glaze and then look at the man. "Um, excuse me, who are you? And why are you in my room?"
"I am here to talk to you." Adam says. "Though I apologize that I wasn't there when you need me the most. I won't blame you for thinking me like that."
Ash then looks at the man, he looks like Sir Aaron, but Ash recognizes the voice and he asks, "Dad? Is that you?"
They share a hug and Ash cries in his arms. "Why...dad...why did you leave us alone?" Ash asks with tears in his eyes.
"I am sorry, I don't want to. But my work is really dangerous. In fact, we have already met before, if it wasn't for you who saved me, I would have died in the past."
"Huh?" Ash is confused, but then Adam raises his hand, and then the time stops. Adam glows and then appears in front of them is no other than Arceus.
"Arceus?" Ash is surprised as well as Pikachu." No way..."
Adam changes back into his real self and says, "You are right, I am Arceus. But it is thanks to you and Delia that I know about humans. But that will be explained later. I heard everything from Delia, and I want to know why you would listen to their words?"
"But what they said is true, without my Pokemon, I am just a weakling..." Ash says.
"Ash, stop calling yourself a weakling." Ash is surprised at his stern voice. "Trainers and Pokemon bond with each other, which is why you can win against everyone in battle. But if you feel weak, then I am here to help you."
Ash is surprised, "How are you going to help me?"
"First of all, I found a lot of your Pokemon that you once owned." Adam says.
Adam takes out some Pokeballs and then appears two Butterfree, Pidgeot, Primeape, Lapras and his mother, Larvitar and his mother, Gengar, Greninja, Goodra, Rowlet, Lycanroc, Incineroar, Naganadel, and Melmetal.
"Everyone, it is so good to see you." Ash says as he hugs them. The Pokemon knows what happened to Ash and they return the hug.
"How did you find them, Adam?" Delia asks when she comes upstairs to check out the two of them.
"It is a long story, but they are willing to go back to Ash, so I brought them here." Adam replies as he turns back to Ash, "Now that your Pokemon are back, there is something I need to do with you I am going to try to change that attitude of yours as well as training you with your powers, in other words, Aura."
"Aura?" Ash is shocked. "I have aura powers?"
"Of course, you have. Do you remember how you used it back in the Tree of Beginning?" Then Ash starts to remember as he nods. "Good. Now that it is done, I should stop the time so we can train for now."
Ash nods as he accepts his father's training, and he has been really in progress. After training for three days straight, Delia and Adam think it is time as they take the plane and head towards Galar.
Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, we have the Game opening from the games Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. I hope you like this chapter and the next one is going to be meeting the others.
