These drabbles are exactly 100 words long. Rated G to R. Lots of different characters, lots of different stories. This is the second set of drabbles in my story listing.

After every dusk and the darkest hour it always comes the dawn. What if Merlin managed to take Arthur to Avalon? What if Arthur lived? First and second chapter will be quite similar to the events from the last episode of season 5, so don't get discouraged! I used it as an introduction to the story. PS: I don't own "Merlin" and characters from the series.

He turns his head and watches as Arthur shifts onto his side, facing away from Merlin, his long hair falling away from the nape of his neck and revealing the shining skin there. Freckles dot the back of his neck in a peculiarly familiar pattern, and it takes Merlin's sleep-deprived mind a few moments to place where he's seen that exact marking before. And then his heart constricts

When Ygraine's old prayer book is found - complete with handwritten notes - Arthur is given another chance to hear his mother speak from the grave. Not as a summoned shade, but as the memory of a young woman finding solace in the words she once loved.

(Sequel to my story Arthur (Pendragon?)) In an effort to keep his promise and end his war against magic, Uther invites a delegation of druids to Camelot. But someone doesn't want peace and Arthur will soon see how bad the future could be without it.

The dagger's edge bit into his skin and Merlin felt a single drop of blood running down his neck. Arthur cruelly had him pinned against the wall and pressed a knife to this throat. "You are an abomination." Magic is darkness. King Arthur cannot allow it take root in Camelot. Merlin is a sorcerer and Arthur has never felt such betrayal. Not even destiny can stop a king's wrath.
