The wait was agonizing, Izuku had known that he passed the entrance exam, but he wanted no... needed to know if he took the top spot. "How long does it take for them to send out a letter?" Izuku grumbled as he was practically wearing a hole in the carpet with his pacing.

Inko was patiently sipping her tea as she and Darth Talon watched Izuku. She almost couldn't believe that she considered this alien to be her closest friend, a woman who less than a year ago threatened to kill her and her son and yet now, she couldn't imagine life without the Sith. She chalked it up to the shared common interest in wanting her son to succeed, something she never got from anyone else.

When Inko was at work and told her coworkers that her son had begun training for the U.A. entrance exam, they had simply laughed in her face. They thought it was hilarious that her quirkless son was trying to be a hero and she wasn't even given the chance to tell them that he might have been quirkless but that he had a power all his own, so she didn't. It infuriated her that the grown adults that she'd known for years and had been friendly with would badmouth her son for being quirkless. That they didn't think it was at least commendable for him to try and become a better person, whether he succeeded or not wasn't even an issue for them, they had already written him off.

Darth Talon however, believed in her son. She may be rough, dangerous and quite possibly evil with a goal of turning her son into some sort of galactic dictator, but that alien woman wanted her son to become strong and pursue his dreams. If the only people who cared about her son were herself and some crazy Sith, then the Devil makes for far better company than being alone.

It took almost all afternoon but Inko finally came in with the mail. "Wait," she said as Izuku tried to grab the letter from her hands. "You may be some emperor, but I taught you manners." Scolding her son who at times acted a bit rashly which she could tell was a side effect of all his training to use his emotions to fuel his powers.

Izuku pouted and sighed. "Sorry mom, can I please have my letter now?" He asked even if he was barely constraining himself.

"Sure sweetie," Inko smirked and handed the letter to her son, which he eagerly ripped the top off of as a disc plopped onto the tabletop before projecting a hologram.

"Hmm," Darth Talon hummed as she didn't think the earthling technology was at the point of making holographic communicators yet, but she was surprised at times by some of the inventions this species had.

"That's All Might," Izuku said as he recognized the massive hero that stood in a darkened room for the video. Even having seen him a few months ago that man was still impressive to see and it would seem the theatrics for the school made him look all the more imposing.

As the trio watched the video where Izuku was given his results, Izuku let out a cheer when he was told he had managed to take the top spot just above Katsuki by a small margin, it would seem as though he'd earned a fair amount of rescue points somehow in his exam. "However, we have reviewed additional footage," All Might coughed into his hand as a second video came up on the screen to display what happened just before the entrance exam. "This little incident. U.A. does not tolerate bullying or attacking others, so this is your warning."

Inko screamed through her teeth in frustration that her son was being scolded by the number one hero for only retaliating against Katsuki who hit her son first. "Whatever Mom, it's fine," Izuku said as he tossed the video in the trash can. "I got in and that's all that matters right now." Stepping away from the table as he too was frustrated with the way the school was already getting on his case.

Izuku just went back to getting in whatever training he could before the new school year began and he showed off the power of the Dark Side to the world.

Darth Talon was not amused by the flat grey coloring of the hero school uniform. "You look like a Jedi Padawan," she said with a shake of her head as she and Inko saw Izuku off on his first day of school.

Izuku agreed a bit with the sentiment, the school uniform looked professional but also pretty bland when it was supposed to be the premier hero school in the world. It could have done something more to it's design.

Fashion choices aside, Izuku found that the biggest hurdle so far was finding his classroom because of how big the school itself was. "Jeez, you'd think they'd give the students a map or something," he said to himself after he finally found the 1-A homeroom.

He opened the door only to be assaulted by the sounds of two students arguing. One being Katsuki Bakugou and the other a tall blue haired boy with glasses. Decided to not get involved in that he stepped out of the way and took an open seat next to a girl with pink skin. Izuku had hoped that the day would be mostly quiet until he heard a startled gasp. "It's you, the angry exploding kid," a brunette said as she came into the room and hurried over to where Bakugo was sitting and arguing with Iida.

"Oh not you again," Katsuki groaned as he had hoped to never see this girl again after what happened in the entrance exam. "What do you want from me Round Face?"

Uraraka giggled at the blonde boy. She found his loud attitude funny. "I just wanted to thank you for stopping the Zero-Pointer, you were really cool."

"Fuck off, I wasn't doing it to save you!" Katsuki shouted as he didn't want the girl to get any crazy ideas about him going out of his way to help her. The blue haired glasses kid was already saying he'd misjudged him by his rough exterior and that inside he was a kind hero. "I just wanted to blow it up."

"If you're here to make friends, you can just go home now," Aizawa said from his spot on the floor in his signature yellow sleeping bag. "We're going to have a little test, so put on these uniforms and get out onto the grounds," pulling out a stack of uniforms and leaving his students to follow his directions.

Izuku noticed that Bakugou had been glaring at him the entire time they were in the locker room, but he just elected to ignore him and went out to the field with the other students. He looked over his classmates a bit as the teacher told them the basics of what they would be doing today.

"Midoriya, since you scored the top spot in the entrance exam, let's have you demonstrate the first task," Aizawa said as he tossed Izuku the baseball. "You can use your quirk anyway that you'd like, just stay in the circle."

Izuku shrugged as he tossed the ball up and down in his palm a few times. "Okay," he said as he caught the ball with the force and then flung it into the distance.

"500.7 meters," Aizawa held up a device that tracked the distance the ball had gone.

"Oh my gosh that looks so fun," Mina said in excitement about getting to show off her quirk, this sentiment was agreed upon by a couple other students as well, since they'd never really gotten a chance to use their quirks for physical education courses back at their old school.

"Fun," Aizawa's lips twitched upward into a sadistic smirk, as this happened every year without fail. "Did you really think you'd spend your three years here making friends and having a good old time?"

"No," Izuku flatly answered as he passed by his teacher to walk back over to the rest of his class. "I never made friends at my old school, so why would this place magically be different?" he muttered under his breath, stopping where he had originally in line with the other students.

"Drama queen," Aizawa said with a roll of his eyes at the green haired student. "But if you think this is all just a game, then we'll make some rules, after all the events are done, we'll tally up the score and whoever comes in last will be expelled." He got a smile on his face when he saw the looks of shock cross over most of his students' faces. It got them every year that he did it without fail.

After he gave a long winded speech that he pulled out of his ass about natural disasters and fairness that sounded rehearsed he brought the students over to a track to test their speed. "I'm going to have the two top scorers go first just to show us all how it's done, fifty meter dash, on your marks," he said as Izuku and Katsuki hurried into position. "Go!" he said as the students took off.

"Huh, he has telekinesis and yet he was able to augment his own speed?" Momo said curiously as she had not expected that out of the top scorer.

"Yeah the other kid propelling himself like a rocket almost makes too much sense, but that was weird." Ojiro commented, being a martial artist who had plans to join a circuit that allowed for quirk use as a hobby while building up his hero rep, he needed to be able to see what other people were capable of.

Izuku didn't have too much trouble with the tests given to them, various force abilities allowed him to score in the upper ends of the class, such as adding in his force jump to the standing long jump and the training he had allowed him to keep up physically with most of his classmates as well.

It had been going so well for him that finally Bakugou had enough of watching Izuku using his quirk that he stomped right up to him and got in his face.

"You think all of that was fucking funny, you fucking shit!" Bakugou shouted, storming over and shoving Izuku hard.

"Fuck you Bakugou," Izuku shouted and shoved the blonde right back. "I don't know what stick is up your ass today but I'm not going to put up with it."

"Oh don't you play dumb you piece of shit, you hid your quirk for years." Bakugou accused as now he'd seen evidence that Izuku had actually inherited his mother's quirk and just didn't show anyone for years. "Was it all some big joke to you, huh?"

"I don't have to explain shit about my powers to you. You think after ten years of you and everyone else giving me crap that you're in a position to make demands of me," Izuku snarled and with a flex of his fingers electricity began to spark between the tips, ready to strike down the arrogant blonde bully.

"Hey!" Aizawa shouted as he came over to break the two apart. "Both of you, separate."

"Stay out of this." Bakugou and Izuku shouted in unison before turning back to their argument.

"No, I'm the teacher and you two will step away from each other or you'll both be expelled," Aizawa warned looking to see who would give in first, to his surprise it was the blonde that backed off while the green haired boy stood in place for a bit longer. "I mean it."

Izuku let out a growl before he stomped over towards the opposite end of the line of students.

"I don't know what that was all about and quite frankly I don't care. U.A. is not the place for whatever childhood drama you had in your old schools. So whatever it is between the two of you, keep it outside the campus."

"Fine," Bakugou spat on the ground before leveling a glare at Izuku.

"I can wait until today's over," Izuku folded his arms. "I've been waiting ten years to get back at him for all the shit he put me through."

"Good enough for me," Aizawa ran his hand through his hair with an exaggerated sigh. "Oh and about someone getting expelled, I lied. But don't take this to mean you all are safe. If I had to pick anyone who's already on the chopping block, it would be you three," Aizawa pointed between Izuku, Katsuki and Mineta, who had scored the lowest out of the class. While Izuku and Bakugou only gave a grunt in response, the short purple haired kid was worried because he was at the lowest end of the class so soon out the gate.

"But now just go to the rest of your lessons," Aizawa dismissed his students to get changed back into their school uniforms for their other teachers.

That left most of the 1-A students in an awkward spot as there was obvious tension between two of their classmates. "So uh," Mina hummed as she walked behind the green haired boy that had sat next to her before class began. "What was all that about?" asking after she got Izuku to look over his shoulder at her.

"That was me not backing down from my bully anymore," Izuku answered.

Kirishima, having been friends with Mina since middle school, had been walking alongside her. "He was your bully?" Inquiring for more information on the earlier blow up between two of his classmates.

"Yeah him and all the others I went to school with since I was four years old, they thought I was quirkless," Izuku answered dryly, this conversation making him remember all the crap he was subjected to vividly. "Gave me hell for it, turns out I just didn't have the right training," Izuku smirked because now he was proud of the power he'd obtained over the last year, Darth Talon had not been gentle with him but he could not argue with the results.

"That's pretty messed up," Kirishima whistled sincerely since he hadn't really been able to figure out what was going on between the two and all he'd been able to conclude was these two were not friends. He was shocked to hear that one of his classmates was a bully though. But he had heard stories and seen it first hand a few times how other kids would treat their quirkless classmates.

"Yeah well after all the beatings, my belongings getting stolen and the teachers turning a blind eye to it all, forgive me for not being the bigger man in all this," Izuku shrugged before taking a deep breath to calm himself. He was starting to feel like he was losing control of his anger by getting so worked up and that was not the Sith way, they controlled their emotions, their emotions did not control them.

For the rest of the day Izuku found the other lessons easier. He never struggled academically before, even if he wasn't the top student but it had been a surprise to him that most of the classes were on subjects he had already been taught only this time it was done with a focus on how it related to hero work. It made sense when he thought about it over lunch that even if the lessons didn't seem to be about heroics such as Art History, there was stuff to be learned from it that could be used in their careers as heroes. Or at least the other students could. Izuku had bigger aspirations than merely becoming another caped crusader of justice.

But once the day had ended Izuku was eager to finally have his long awaited confrontation with Bakugou. So when he saw the blonde waiting for him at the gate, he had a large grin on his face even though the rest of his classmates had expected this and were much more concerned. Unfortunately for Izuku it would seem that Aizawa expected a conflict and not only was Bakugou waiting at the gate, so was the principal.

"I understand that there is some animosity between the two of you." Nedzu said calmly, getting straight to the point of the matter.

"Animosity is a… weak word for what this is," Izuku snarled at Bakugou who stood there silently. Because after all the training on unleashing his emotions his hatred towards Bakugou burned white hot.

The furried principal let out a soft chuckle of amusement. "Yes, that is quite similar to what Mr. Bakugou has told me. So I will reiterate what I told him. If you attempt to use your powers against each other without prior instruction from one of the faculty members, I will expel you. There will not be a second chance, do I make myself clear Mr. Midoriya?"

After hearing the principal's ultimatum, Izuku quietly weighed his options. "Ahh I see you are debating whether it would be worth the expulsion." Nezu shook his head. "May I ask why you believe sacrificing your future career as a hero is acceptable in this situation?" Because even though Bakugou had been very vehemently against playing nice, the blonde had backed down when faced with his choices.

What was curious to the principal was that all records that he could get on these students indicated that Midoriya would be the levelheaded one. Yet it would seem that something had been overlooked in the Aldera Junior High system.

"Because my future ultimately lies somewhere else," Izuku finally responded.

"Doesn't it always. But so long as you wish to remain here you will control yourself, there will be ample opportunities throughout the years of education at U.A. where sparring between students happens."

"Right, the sports festival." Izuku responded as he recalled that annual event the school hosted and there was always at least one section devoted to combat.

Nedzu nodded as to Izuku's correctness of that event being one of the instances where students engaged in combat against each other. "So will you be able to restrain yourself? Because I would rather know now and save myself the trouble later on of filling out the paperwork."

"I'll play nice," Izuku huffed. "For now." Tightening his grip on his backpack and storming past the principal.
