Prologue 1
In the Otem Town in the Sevestar Region, we can see a lot of people playing games together in the castle yard. There is a young prince, his name is Ash Ketchum, and he is the fourth child in the Sevestar Kingdom, which is ruled by the Ketchum family. The Ketchum family is said to be the strongest family in the region, with one of them being the World Champion in 9 regions, they are highly skilled with battling. Unlike other royal families, they don't boast about how wealthy they are, or badmouth others because of their status. Whenever somebody needs help, they will be glad to help out, and it is very popular among everyone in the world.
Now back to Ash Ketchum, he has a Pichu by his side, it is the first Pokemon he had ever hatched from an egg that was given by his father. And ever since it gets hatched, it doesn't listen to Ash at first, seeing that he is only a child, but after an incident, they have become close friends with each other.
Besides Ash, there is also a girl who has been close to Ash since birth, she has green eyes and blonde hair, and she is wearing a white sundress. Her name is Lillie Aether, she is from the Aether Family, and this family is the second influential family, with Ketchum being the first, a lot of people from this family are researchers, and they rather taking care of Pokemon more than battling. Their knowledge of Pokemon World is also vast and a lot of Professors would want to have an Aether member to be their assistants.
Right now Ash and Lillie are playing hide and seek in their own castle ground, of all the Aethers, Lillie's family lives in the same castle as Ash's family, as their families are so close that they have been working together. Lillie is giggling and she yells at Ash, who is still far away from her. "Come and get me! Ash!"
Noticing the smirk on Lillie's face, Ash decides to smirk back and yells, "Oh, I'll get you, Lillie!" He turns to his buddy Pichu and says, "Pichu, let's go. We are going to get Lillie no matter what!"
Pichu just jumps around and yells, "I'm coming! Just wait for me!" Ash laughs at the tiny mouse's reaction, as he finds it adorable.
Ash and Lillie, as well as their family members, can understand what Pokemon are talking about. According to Ash's father, they have had this kind of ability since birth and only a few of them can have this kind of ability. So they think that they are the lucky ones as they don't want to abuse this ability to harm Pokemon. Lillie notices that Ash is about to catch up to her, she starts to accelerate as they run into the artificial forest which is also a territory of their own castle.
Ash sees how Lillie is about to run away, he quickly rushes, and eventually, he manages to grab her arm and then pulls her close to him, causing both of them to fall on the ground. "Got you." Ash laughs as he starts to tickle her, and Lillie, being ticklish, can't help but laugh out loud at Ash's actions.
"Man, I can't believe I lost to you." Lillie sighs after she stops laughing, Ash then grabs her arm and he pulls her up, also causing her to fall into Ash's arms and she blushes. They decide to take a rest and watch some Caterpies and Scatterbugs crawling and Oddish walking joyfully, in the sky, Pidgey and Pidove are flying past them and there are also Magikarp and Wooper in the river.
"Lillie, isn't it great? I mean the fact that we are watching all those Pokemon happily in this forest." Ash asks after seeing how many Pokemon are around them.
"Yeah. They are so carefree, and they are also cute and incredible as well." Lillie says as she pets an upcoming Petilil, who is curious about the two of them and it decides to get closer.
Just then, they also see a Comfey flying towards them and she gives the flower ring to Ash, and a Ponyta just running past them as they also feel the wind. Seeing how peaceful it is, Ash says, "You know, I really want to travel, because I can make friends and watch the new world."
"Me too." Lillie says, "But we are so young...and I just want to hope that it will be possible for us to travel around the world with the two of us together."
"Of course it will be possible." They turn around and see a girl who has golden hair and red eyes. She wears a shirt with black and red stripes, grey jeans and yellow shoes. She walks towards Ash, Pichu, and Lillie with a smile. This girl is Gina, she is the Ghost Type Gym Leader in the Sevestar Region and Ash's oldest sister who is the third child of the family, she is also a master of scaring others, who knows how many ghosts did she ask to scare the two of them and their siblings. Despite it makes them mad, they can't be mad at their sister, since all she wants is to play with them after all.
"Sister Gina." Ash smiles as he hugs her, surprised that she would also come into the forest. "What are you doing here?"
"Dia and Palmo are fighting again, this time they are fighting for who gets to play the Switch." Gina says, "And when I was about to search for some Frillish in the river, I also got a call from Dad that dinner is ready, so I come to pick you two so we can eat a lot."
"Oh my." Lillie gasps as she knows how funny it is when Dia and Palmo get into the fight and then they get scolded by Ash's mother in the end. "You know, all that running is also making me hungry as well. I guess we should go back or else everyone will be worried about us."
"You're right. And I can't wait to eat my mom's food as well." Ash says with a smile.
"So what are you two playing? Since you really run really far from the castle and not many people in our family would run this far unless they want to." Gina asks.
"Well, at first we are just playing hide and seek, and eventually we get tired and we started to wonder about what we should do when we grow up." Lillie says.
"You know, despite your young age, you two really are mature, not anyone was able to think about that in your age." Gina says.
"I guess it means that we are very special, don't you think? Lillie?" Ash asks.
"Yeah, you're right." Lillie chuckles. "But something tells us that there will be more about how special we are."
"I also got that feeling as well." Ash says with a nod.
Ash, Lillie, Pichu, and Gina went back to their castle, and they see everyone waiting for them at the table. There is Ash's father, Adam Alpha Ketchum, he is the World Champion of all 9 regions, and he is also the Sevestar Regional Champion. Besides him is Aurora Delia Ketchum, who is the Kanto Champion and the founder of Contests. Ash has a lot of siblings as well, as there are Dia and Palmo, the eldest brothers in the family, as they are Steel and Water Type Gym Leader in the Sevestar Region respectively. And because of their differences, both of them will often fight and Gina has to separate them for fear that their fighting might cause trouble. There are also Ash's triplet brothers, Mark and Trenor, they all look like Ash, so anyone who doesn't know about them might confuse them with one another. And finally, there are three sisters, the seventh one is Insey, who Mark often calls her Bugging Sister since she likes Bug Types, and Insey doesn't like that. There is Emma, who is the second youngest as she, like Ash, has her own Pokemon, an Espurr called Mimi. And there is Zossie, unlike other Ketchum members, she had aqua blue skin, but nobody in the family would laugh or bully her just because she is different.
As for Lillie's family, she also has a few siblings. There is Eve Aether, who likes to study a lot about Pokemon, Flora Aether, who likes to talk about fashion with Lillie, and she also has three brothers, there is Gladion, the eldest brother, as he is very overprotective of them, Byrce, who is similar to Lillie, as he likes to play with ice, and Oscar, as he likes music more than everything. There are also their mother Lusamine and their father Mohn. Both of their parents are the presidents of the Aether Foundation, and they even have a mansion on the Aether Paradise. But because they are best friends with Adam and Aurora, the children are staying with Ash and his family in the castle.
Adam notices Gina bring the two into the dining room, he asks with a sigh, "Ash, Lillie, are you late again?"
"Sorry." Ash says while rubbing his head, "We kind of run too far."
Aurora says with an overprotective mother tone, "You should be more careful like Insey, Emma, or Zossie. Well. Luckily, you have Gina by your side, who knows what you two would suffer from..."
Ash and Lillie feel embarrassed, and Lusamine decides to ask, "So do you guys have fun today?"
"Of course, we do, Mother." Lillie says. "We have a lot of fun and it is so sad that today is about to end."
Bryce asks with a curious tone, "Is that so, have you see some Pokemon you hadn't seen before?"
"Of course, there are actually a lot of Pokemon in the forest." Ash says, "Not to mention that we even found a Bulbasaur in the wild."
Eve says, "Really? I want to see it, too."
Adam laughs and says, "I'm sure you can find them in the wild as well. So Ash, what is in your mind after seeing the new Pokemon?"
Ash thinks for a second and he smiles, "I want to become a Pokemon Master after I grow up! I want to see the world and befriend Pokemon, not only that, but I also want to be as strong as others, so that I can be a proud Ketchum."
Aurora smiles, "That is a nice dream. You can become a trainer after you become ten, then you can follow your dream."
"Thanks, mom." Ash replies. And hearing Ash's motivation causing Ash's five siblings to also getting excited about the fact that they could be trainers when they are 10.
"Mom, Dad! I want to become a trainer, too!" "Me too!" Then the children exclaim to their parents, much to their amusement.
Adam says, "I'm sure you all can. Maybe it is time for me to teach you everything about journey."
The first chapter is done now, I have to say, Emma is the same in Pokemon XY games, Zossie is the same Zossie in Ultra Recon Squad. And Dia, Palmo and Gina are not Arceus. (Guess Who, though if you read the first story, you'll know.)
Due to not have much time to write the story, the updates will be slower. But I will try writing until Ash starts his journey. The next chapter will begin with the friends and family Ash has in the other stories.
This story is basically a rewrite version of my old stories, Ash's Story (New) and Road to Pokemon Master combined. So I hope you like the first chapter.
