Prologue 12
Due to the Sevestar and the Kanto section are close to each other, Professor Oak and Professor Pine decide to work together for the last few days because only Ash's group hasn't come to their sections. Ash and the group are pretty excited to learn a lot about what the Champions are going to offer.
Once Ash and the others arrive, Professor Pine decides to be the first one, and he says, "Hello kids, nice to see you here."
"Indeed, though you guys are the last one here in these sections." Professor Oak adds. "We heard a lot from the other 7 Professors and Champions, and you all got pretty good scores. I hope you won't lose that winning record here in the final two areas."
"We won't. We are going to be the winner of the camp and I know it." Ash says confidently, while the other four also show their determined faces.
Professor Pine notices a Sylveon besides Pikachu, and he says, "I see Eevee evolved into Sylveon, and not to mention a pretty Sylveon as well."
"Thank you, Professor, she is also my best friend besides Pikachu." Ash says with a smile, and Sylveon also agrees with what Ash said as she uses her feelers to nuzzle him.
"Good, my boy. Since we are working together, we will ask you to take care of these 3 starters." Professor Oak says as he sends out Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
"So Sevestar Region doesn't have new Pokemon?" Serena asks as she has never been there before. Professor Pine looks at Ash and the others as they are from the Sevestar Region, Mark gets the message as he answers for them.
"Well, because Sevestar Region is seen as the strongest region in the world. Not many people choose this place as the first choice to challenge, which is why there are no starters in the region." Mark says.
"But there are some exceptions." Professor Pine adds, "If you want to start Sevestar first, which we don't mind at all, we will contact the other Professors to give us the Starter Pokemon so that they can still get it in our lab."
After understanding the truth, the gang plays with the three Starter Pokemon all day, then they have learned a lot about the Kanto Pokemon. The Professors ask them to place the badges on the map, they get 20 badges of Sevestar and place them correctly since they all are from there.
"Now the Sevestar Region is finished, next is the Kanto." Ash says.
They decide to let Serena and Mark give a shot, after they are finished, Ash decides to double-check.
"Let me see.… Wait, Serena, this Mind Badge isn't Celadon, it is Saffron."
"What? Then what about this Soul Badge? Is it from Celadon?" Serena asks.
"No, The Rainbow Badge is in Celadon. If you want to know where the Soul Badge is, it is in Fuchsia City."
They let Professors check the badges, they are amazed that they are correct. Professor Oak laughs and says, "Well done, this should give you 10 points, right, Pine?"
"I agree, 10 points for all of you." Professor Pine says.
Next, Professor Pine asks them to have an Eevee and try to make them evolve. Thanks to Mark, Ash, Gladion, and Lillie's ability to talk to Pokemon, they manage to help the Eevees evolve into an Umbreon, Espeon, and Flareon. They are also amazed to learn that the same Pokemon can have different evolutions with different conditions. And the learning helps them earn 10 points from Professor Pine.
Then they play a game called finding the Ditto, Professor Oak lets them in the ranch where other Pokemon are and place 5 Dittos inside. They capture all of them by battling them and win, they get 10 points from Professor Oak.
On the next day, they are continuing their games. Ash and his friends have a quiz about all kinds of Pokemon requested by Professor Pine, and Ash feels like the Professor has given them difficult questions since a lot of them aren't related to Sevestar. In the end, they get a score of 81, so they get 8 points.
Another game they play was the Tauros Race, Professor Oak has Ash and his friends ride on the Tauros and have them free running around the course. Ash goes to the finish line first, then Mark, Gladion, Serena, and Lillie. They get 8 points for this game because of how they can tame the Tauros very well.
For the next 4 days, Ash and the group find Adam and Aurora who are waiting for them.
"Dad, Mom." Ash and Mark this time hug the two of them, as they have been waiting for a lot of days to try out what their parents want the campers to do.
"Hello children. You know, you are the last ones to come to our section, but I am glad you guys finally come. How is your camp?" Adam asks.
"Great. We learned a lot of things." Ash says. "Though we want to know what you are going to teach us."
"That is great." Aurora says, "Though we are going to teach you battles, we decide to change our plans."
"What? Change of plans?" Lillie asks in confusion. "Why?"
Aurora says, "I am sure you all know the reason why, we have already taught you guys a lot about battling back in the Sevestar Region, it will be boring to you guys if we just teach you the basics all over again, right?"
"That may be true." Ash says, "But what are we going to do today?"
Adam says, "We are going to train you guys to become members of International Police and the Rangers, we saw potential inside you and there is nothing better than trying to give you these titles."
This causes them to be surprised. Serena asks, "Even me? I wasn't even from the Sevestar Region and I only met you all in this camp..."
"Don't worry about it, Serena. I am sure that you are also doing very well in battling. Though only the three of you are going to challenge the International Police since Ash and Lillie are already members of the International Police." Aurora says.
"But does the boss agrees to it?" Ash asks, which causes Aurora to raise her eyebrows. "I mean...International Police is not something that you can join if you say so. Besides, we were just kids, and are you sure that the boss would agree to have kids into the police?"
Adam and Aurora laugh a little at how Ash is very considerate, then Adam says, "Ash, Lillie, since you are taken orders from Lance, so you haven't met the Boss before. And in truth, your mother is the boss."
This surprises the 5 of them since they never heard from Aurora that she is the boss of the International Police. Aurora also shows them her police ID to confirm that what Adam said was true.
"Mom?" Ash is now baffled at the fact that the International Police is owned by his mother. "How come we don't know anything about it?"
Aurora says, "Well, because I didn't want you to know about it, since being a Police means that you have to put your life in it. I don't want my children to be put in danger until the time has come, which means today."
They nod as they start their training. But before they begin, Adam teaches them how to battle in dire situations first.
First, they train how to connect their hearts and dodge attacks, how to heal Pokemon during the battle, and how to use physical attacks.
Next, they train how to catch a Pokemon. Ash catches a Caterpie and releases it, the same goes for Serena who does the same to a Nidoran (F). Mark catches a Machop, Lillie catches a Slowpoke and releases it, Gladion does the same to the Eevee.
Third, they learn how to use Mega Evolutions, Z moves and Dynamax, Adam creates some for them to practice, thanks to Adam's Pokemon, they succeed and get the chance to battle.
And finally, they use Ash and Mark to battle their father, but because Adam is really skilled in battle, so they lost, but they still did a great deal of damage to Adam.
And then the five days, Aurora calls Kellyen, Solina, and Ben to teach them ranger skills, Ash, Lillie, and Aurora also teach some International Police skills. The other 3 at first can't keep up with them, but the more time they spend on training, the more skilled they are. Not long after, they all pass the test and get the memberships of International Police and Rangers. They also get a good score of 59 from both Professors for the four days.
On the final day, Ash and the others are back to the meeting point, as it is time for the ending ceremony and the fact that the Professors are going to announce the winner of the camp.
"Welcome to the ending ceremony, during these 60 days, you guys learned a lot of things in the camp." Professor Oak says as the others are cheering. "Now us, the Professors, have decided the prize for the winners."
He takes out 5 cards and says, "You will gain the free membership of a Professor. Which you can carry all your Pokemon when you have more than 6 after you become a trainer."
Everyone cheers, which makes the Professors ask them to be quiet. Professor Oak looks at the scores, "Now the winner of the summer camp is… Group A!"
Ash, Mark, and Serena jump in joy, the same goes for Lillie and Gladion. They hug one another as they are happy at their victory.
"Good job, you 4!" "I know you will win!" "Way to go!" Everyone also cheers for them, except a person who is whining and he didn't take the loss very lightly.
"What? How come Ashy Boy and his group win! I am supposed to be the best!" Gary Oak yells at his grandfather. And the shout causing everyone to be silent. Professor Oak just glares at him and says, "Gary, they all got over 90, so they would be the winner."
"But Grandpa…" Gary wants to say something, but Professor Oak just cuts him off.
"Gary, I don't want to hear your whining." Professor Oak gives him a stern look, which makes him fear as he doesn't say another word.
"Now will Ash, Mark, Serena, Lillie, and Gladion come forward?" Professor Oak says as they all nod and come forward, all the Professors congratulate them and award the prizes for them. They happily receive the prize and thank them, and the camp also ends with taking a picture of all people.
The next day, Ash and the others decide to head back to Sevestar, they say goodbyes to others and fly back home. They also can't forget that Mark and Serena hug each other and cry back at the airport, which makes him a target to tease with.
So this marks the end of the Summer Camp. Ash and the other 4 all gain the membership of Professors, Rangers, and International Police, which is a big feat. The reason I did this is that it will play a part in the upcoming story.
And some of you are asking me about the 20 gyms in each region, I want to say that I have only thought of Kanto ones, which is why I didn't write all the gyms in the badge putting sections of the story. I want it to be a secret so that you can try to imagine what kind of gyms there are in the future. The next chapter is going to be an interesting plot...
