Just like in the last chapter, please comment "LEMONS" if you saw this chapter. Don't worry, I'm going to open a Twitter soon, so this way you can notified of a new chapter earlier. If Fanfiction isn't gonna fix the problem, I'll just find another solution myself.
Back once again with Italian Dragon Emperor, where for the next few chapters we'll be focusing on the sudden reappearance of Anthony's old friend, Yukitsuki. Who exactly is she? Why is she here at Kuoh Academy? What role did she play in his past? How jealous can Rias get over her? Let's let Anthony take the wheel so he can explain himself, and learn what happened to him prior to meeting the ORC, and how it changed him.
From 54godamora:
Even more of Anthony's backstory is coming.
To be honest, I have no idea who this Yukitsuki character is. Is she based on that blue-haired character from Testament of New Sister Devil, is she that blue-haired character from that anime, or is she an original character?
Bakuganman: I actually forgot to mention this last time, but I honestly didn't intend for Yukitsuki's debut to resemble Testament's Yuki that closely. I was just writing the scene and that's how it came out. They are completely different characters, and while she's not an original character of mine, Yukitsuki is loosely based from her own franchise.
From Guest:
please at least make 60 chapters of italian dragon emperor
Bakuganman: Sixty?!... I mean, I can try to extend chapters, but not sure if it'll be THAT long of a fic.
From joecool075:
Lemons
From OechsnerC:
Lemons lol. Really awesome chapter. Looking forward to reading more.
Bakuganman: Good. At least notifications work for some people.
From Guest-Questioner:
Hoh boy, those rias fanatic's must REALLY want you to draw up the rias triple-X scene that badly.
Are you ABSOLUTELY sure, most of those vote's are not a Bot, to force the scene to exist?
Bakuganman: I'm glad you asked. I actually took precautions and did some investigating. To my shock, there was one bot, but it wouldn't have made a difference in the vote... I guess every author has one. But let's be honest: many people wanna read stuff like this anyway. And I'm more than happy to provide it.
From Tismen (chapter 8):
I'm quite disliking this version of Koneko. She insults Anthony easily, always acuse him of being a pervert for no reason and beats him for trying to explain himself. She is a bully here.
And what is worse: Everyone treats it as if he should just bear it. That's quite unjust.
Bakuganman: You might be taking it a little too seriously, but I do see your point. However, I've gotten praise from their character dynamic from both critics and fans. Koneko at that point in time (since this review is from chapter eight), was unable to stand Anthony at first. If you've read this far, which I'm going to assume there's a fifty-fifty chance you didn't, they are slowly starting to get along. Besides; its not like she hasn't given Issei a beating in canon, be it anime special or otherwise, when he screws up. Its even happened in the light novels at least once.
Continuing from the last chapter, a flashback then begins, showing the young Anthony who came into Japan growing up into an early teenager, a few years younger than he was now. He still looked the same as his modern appearance, however. Just a tad shorter.
"Sure I was taken in by Azazel, but a few years before getting involved with you weirdoes; I would hop around town here and there. It was kinda boring on my days off with nothing better to do." Anthony began the story. "I'd sneak into arcades, theaters, and of course, schools and colleges… just for the hell of it. I've been to allot. One was with some guy who gives "food-gasms". Another had a club called the "Neighbors Club"… dumb kids were looking for friends, not realizing the obvious, but at least they were never boring. There was even this annoying freshman who kept calling her Senpai a "Closet Pervert" every 5 seconds… but there was one school, that stood out from the rest. And it was there; everything flipped upside down."
Season NEW - Chapter 14: Anthony's [Unofficial] High School Life - The Strange Little Girl
On the roof of a school, a saddened boy went down the stairs of the roofs entrance. He had black hair and wore the same uniform as Yukitsuki did from the image Anthony first had when he finally recognized her, only it was a male version without ribbons, instead having a blue tie. As he continued to walk down the stairs, he got to the second level (as this school held 3 floors) when…
"How'd it go?"
The sad boy turned to see that leaning against a wall with his arms folded, was Anthony himself. Instead of the uniform though, he wore more causal clothes. Today, he was wearing a red shirt with blue shorts… ironic considering where he's from. He also had a chain hanging from the right side of his shorts that was clipped to a belt loop and connected to something in his back pocket.
"… she had a boyfriend…" said the sad teen.
Anthony blinked, looking genuinely surprised. "No shit, really?" The sad teen nodded once to confirm this. "Damn… that's rough, bro. And you had home field advantage too, knowing Yuki since you were kids." Anthony said, as he began to follow the sad teen down another flight.
"I probably should have asked her out sooner… or maybe I was so dull…" said the sad teen.
"Not as dull as a kid traveling with a rat on his shoulder! HAH?…" Anthony made a joke with an open mouth smile, attempting to cheer the sad boy up, but he just glared at him. Anthony's face slowly became less silly, realizing he screwed up. "… Bad timing?"
The sad teen looked away and continued down the stairs, not bothering to give a verbal answer. Anthony mentally slapped himself and followed the other teen down the stairs. Sometimes his, as his new friends in this school called: American Arrogance; would make things worse than better. They did find it funny most of the time, with the random shit that no one else would say come out of his mouth, but as the professor of that kid who traveled with a rat would say: "There's a time and place for everything… but not now."
Basically, if you thought Anthony was a smart-ass in the present day… multiply that by a hundred.
"Could be worse, Yukiha. The Man-Eater could have gotten to ya first." Anthony rejoined the other kid and made another joke. The sad teen, now known to be a younger version of the Yukiha boy he was on the phone with before reacquainting with Yukitsuki in the present, did crack a small smile at that one. Eri, the 'Man-Eater' in question, hated that; and the group of friends would always get a kick out of the American's nickname for her whenever he visited.
Mainly cause of the irony as she didn't, as Anthony quoted: swing that way.
"So what exactly happened? Just a simple 'I have a boyfriend'; 'It's not you, it's me'; 'We're just very close'?" Anthony asked, needing to know the details.
"She said I'm like a brother to her…" Yukiha said.
Anthony felt his brain stop working for a second, processing what was just said. Out of the 3 excuses girls may give about going out that he named, plus many others he didn't feel the need to bring up… THAT. Was the WORST one on the list. "Ooooooh… sorry, man." He genuinely felt bad for the kid, having gone through that. He was also a bit angry at Yuki, but mainly out of concern for Yukiha. In the time he knew Yuki and Yukiha, they were like 2 batteries in a remote. They were very close, so much so that the pinkette would not only go to his house to walk to school in the mornings, but would also help his sister make breakfast sometimes!
And they were damn good cooks too. They could put even Anthony's skills to shame, which also lead them into having contests with each other just for the heck of it. They never tried to seriously outdo each other, but it was all in good fun all the same. With all that, people just assumed that Yukitsuki and Yukiha were dating or at the very least have dated at some point, perhaps even pretended during their childhood as that was pretty common. Anthony didn't know if the latter was true or not, he hasn't known them that far back; but he did know Yukitsuki had connections due to her family… yes, they were rich.
Ddraig: [You've always had a thing for rich girls…]
POP!
The flashback suddenly ended with Ddraig's interruption. "Will you zip your lip?!" Anthony yelled at his arm.
[I don't have any lips.] Ddraig said.
"Then clamp your jaws!" Anthony answered in an annoyed tone. Rias and Akeno found the dragons comment about Anthony well-timed, and the rest of the Devils found it quite funny, considering who the current master of Anthony's soul was. The Italian then sighed. "As I was saying…"
-MEMORY RESUME-
Plus, Yukitsuki didn't act like she had a boyfriend at all, or maybe she just didn't want people to know her business. That was entirely possible. As the two boys left the school building, it was shown to be evening with the sun beginning to set. Anthony couldn't help but wonder if the sunset magnified Yukitsuki's charms back on the roof… what can he say, he's a guy. She was not exactly bad-looking at all, and had smarts to go with her looks. Plus she was someone you could really talk to, one who would be there to listen to anything on your mind.
In hindsight, it was no wonder she already had a boyfriend.
"If its any consolation, its not like she said a definite no, so you DID have a chance" Anthony brought up, which made Yukiha feel a little better. "There's plenty of other fish in the sea, bro."
"Yeah… but maybe I should have reeled that fish in sooner…" said Yukiha, still a bit depressed, but he should get over it soon… though it'll be awkward since they all share homeroom and a few other classes with said fish…
?: Oh… so this part remains the same…
Both boys stopped dead in they're tracks, hearing a voice neither of them recognized. They both turned their heads slowly behind them, but saw nothing, then back towards each other. "… did you say something?" Asked Anthony, nervously.
"I thought you did." Said Yukiha, as nervous as Anthony was.
"I can do allot of shit with my voice, but not the sound of a five-year-old girl." Anthony added.
?: You do that all the time, Uncle! You know I'm 11!
The voice sounded slightly annoyed, but a playful kind as when you make a kid 'mad'. NOW. Both boy were scared. Where the hell was that voice coming from? Who was it? Were the boys being watched? Were they just hearing things? Yukiha could make the argument that it was the post-rejection talking, but then how did Anthony also hear it?
?: Oh, right. I forgot to turn off the cloak. Hold on, lets go somewhere more secluded.
The next thing the boys heard after the child-like voice was a faint humming sound, then it got louder and louder, then all the boys saw in their fields of vision was white. "NOOOOO! DON'T PUT PROBES UP MY BUTT! IT'S SUSCETTIBILE!" Anthony cried, thinking it was aliens. After a few seconds, the humming dimmed down and they reappeared with both boys' eyes' shut tightly (Anthony was also holding onto his butt cheeks for dear life)… the hell?… The roof?!… How did…?!
"… unless we pulled a fucking Dumbledore, HOW THE HELL ARE WE ON THE ROOF OF THE SCHOOL?!" Anthony said calmly, then yelled; not understanding what was going on and both boys were terrified. How did they just teleport back on the school roof?! More importantly, who did that voice belong too?!
?: Ok. Just gotta turn this off. Make myself visible…
Make visible?! Was this a ghost?! It was then Yukiha felt a tug on the lower part of his shirt… was he first?! This was just great! Denied by the women he loves, AND gets taken to the Netherworld on the same day! A form that was gripping Yukiha's shirt was then shown appearing out of nowhere, but transparent. The form quickly became solid… "DADDY! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" A little girl squealed in joy, hugging Yukiha.
"D-Daddy?" Yukiha questioned, unsure how to respond to not only the little girls declaration, bur also her sudden appearance. Who was she? How did she do that? And where did she come from?… And WHY. Did she call him Daddy?
This girl had long, light violet hair with an ornament on top of her head that kept her hair in a long ponytail. The fashion accessory also appeared to have blue lights for eyes and a triangle in the middle for a nose, and they seemed to work in tandem with her real amber-colored eyes. She also wore a black miniskirt with matching black socks that went up her legs, and wore a pink hoodie that had a black bowtie on her chest. She was a cute kid, the boys had to admit, but what was her deal popping out of nowhere and hugging Yukiha out of the blue like that?
Even Anthony, who even in the past had an arsenal of comments ready to be thrown, was at a loss for words. "… I mean, a sister complex is one thing; but a crib-robber?" He said, but it was unclear if this was one of his jokes, or a genuine question… maybe a mixture of both.
"This is NOT the time!" Yukiha snapped, his head spinning with everything going on.
"Well, she called you daddy…" Anthony said.
"And she called YOU uncle." Yukiha fired back, which left Anthony silent and it was his turn to glare at Yukiha. "Anything else you wanna say?"
"… Not in front of a 5-year-old..." Anthony said, implying he wanted to use stronger words, but held himself back due to the presence of the toddler.
"11!" The new girl reminded Anthony a second time, snapping her head back to the Italian. "Seriously, ever since you married all those girls…"
Her last comment got both boys to freeze up in confusion. "Hah?" They said in unison.
"Oh yeah, you had wives… several of them. Most are big-breasted, and you met them all in High School. Mom would talk for hours about how you finally went to school of your own and found love… even if one of them was around my age and acts like a cat all the time. She's happy for you, but says it must have ruined your perception of age. Called your life a living harem novel…" The girl ranted, then cutely blushed and covered her mouth. "Sorry. I shouldn't really be saying anything… it might ruin your own path…"
Both boys were stumped. This chick was weirder than an red-blood cell waifu (though admittedly, that was a good show)! What the heck was she talking about? Big-Breasted girls? One that acts like a cat? Married to them? Don't get Anthony wrong, he understood the appeal of big breasts and cat-girls, but didn't get the latter if that makes any sense. Even in America, there was a comic series about 3 girls dressing up as cats for a high school band, yet he never found himself turned on by it. They looked good, it just never set him off. As for multiple bedroom partners? Well, those 2 from the church back in the Western World were probably his best chance.
And him going to High School?… Like THAT was ever gonna happen.
"Yeah, yeah; that's great kid, but you need to find an adult." Anthony said. He had to giver her credit, she had quite the imagination.
"I DID find one!" She said, then hugged her 'daddy' a bit tighter. "You and Daddy ARE adults! What better adults to warp too; than 2 of the best men in the whole, wide world?" The girl said, sounding extremely happy. She then released her grip a bit and held up a finger. "It's like you said, Uncle Anthony. Never talk to Strangers… they'll split open all your precious holes" She proclaimed, making both boys flinch. She sounded proud when saying it, but apparently didn't realize the context of holes.
"What the hell did you teach her?" Yukiha questioned Anthony, suddenly feeling protective of this little girl.
Once again, Anthony had no comebacks prepared. "D-Don't look at me, she's your daughter!" He pointed.
"And your niece." Yukiha said back.
Anthony mouthed: "I fucking hate you" to Yukiha, still suppressing himself for the little girls sake despite the vocabulary she used less than a moment ago. "Listen… er, who are you again?" Yukiha then asked the girl.
The girl looked up at Yukiha in confusion, but then seemed to realize her mistake. "Oh yeah, I guess this is the first time we're meeting. I don't exist yet." She said without missing a beat. For the third time, both boys once again were in disbelief. Doesn't exist yet? What was she going on about now? Sure, kids have overactive imaginations, but this…
"Look, pinky; I don't know what anime your parents let you watch, but…" Anthony began to say, but the little girl cut him off.
"Your so funny, Uncle Anthony. You've let me watch stuff like Heaven's Lost Property and Trinity Seven when Daddy leaves you to babysit me at the time." She revealed, and that was only the tip of the iceberg as she then made a reference to the infamous matrix-like bullet-time scene from High School of the Dead, acting a few parts of it out as well! The fact that she was still clinging to her 'daddy' made it worse!
'What the hell did he do to this kid?' Yukiha thought. Anthony had his moments, but he wasn't THAT bad… most of the time. He then shook his head. What was he thinking? They don't even know who this girl even is!
'What the fuck did I do to this kid?...' Anthony thought, wondering how much of a bad influence he was... he wasn't THAT bad, right? Then like Yukiha, he shook his head. 'Wait, what am I saying? I don't even know this girl!' He recovered. This kid and her imagination... though whoever DID make her watch that stuff was definitely a true Man of Culture.
Before the little girl could answer whom she was, the door to the roof access swung open, getting Anthony's attention. Coming out to join them was…
Rias: I asked about you and Yukitsuki. Not your life story.
"I was GETTING TO THAT!" Anthony answered impatiently as his tale was interrupted a second time.
Yukiha: (does not see Rias) Anthony? Who are you talking too?
Little Girl: (does not see Rias) Uncle? Are you talking to your arm again?
"Ugggggggh!" Anthony groaned (also seemingly unaware or choosing to ignore his past friends' questions) and pulled out a remote from his pocket. "Rewind!" As Anthony pushed a button with clicking sound, the current events quickly happened in reverse as a rewinding sound played over it. This only occurred for 5 seconds before resuming.
Yukiha: 'What the hell did he do to this kid?'
Anthony: 'What the fuck did I do to this kid?...'
"My name's Miu Tenjo! Nice to meet you!" The girl then greeted her self-proclaimed farther and uncle, her name being Miu. "I'm from the future, and I traveled all the way back to see you guys! To help you both change your lives for the better!"
The future? To change their lives? That was certainly an imagination out of this world. Besides, even of it was true, wouldn't her presence here cause a time paradox or something?
"It was great seeing you, but I have to get back to work! I'll see ya guys, tomorrow! Love you!" The strange Miu said and with that statement, the boys heard the humming sound again. Suddenly, Miu became transparent before disappearing completely, her grip also vanishing from Yukiha. The boys stood there, desperately trying to understand what happened. After 10 seconds of nothing but silence except the wind, Anthony felt forward where the mysterious loli was in front of Yukiha moments ago… and felt nothing but air. The little girl had somehow disappeared without a trace.
As they stood together alone on that roof, both Anthony and Yukiha looked at each other, questioning if what they saw was actually real. Just who or what was that strange, little girl?
-MEMORY PAUSE-
"So if I understand this correctly, your saying you met your future niece?" Rias questioned with folded arms, wondering of this was yet another one of his jokes.
Anthony shrugged. "I told ya it was out there," he said and frankly, they ORC had to agree. He wasn't kidding when he said it. So he's dealt with a time traveling 11-year-old? Dimensional travel, Devils can understand. But that?… It was gonna take some serious convincing. Time travel magic didn't even exist, though there were rumors that magic experts in the supernatural world were experimenting with possible ways to create it.
"You have any proof?" Asked Kiba, having the same reaction as Rias. The ORC wanted to believe him, but found it difficult to without some sort of evidence.
"Not on me. Yukiha held onto some devices Miu left behind." Anthony said. So it wasn't magic? It was science? While that did confirm it wasn't a type of magic, part of his answer bothered Rias. Wouldn't technology that powerful be sought after? It didn't make sense.
"So this girl just left her stuff behind?" Rias asked doubtfully and a little harshly, mainly cause like Kiba, she had trouble fully believing this outlandish story. "If this is own of your practical jokes, its really not funny." She continued. If this girl really was from the future and had this technology, why the hell would she just leave it lying around? If she could use this tech as effective as Anthony said, then she was no ordinary little girl either.
"Furthermore, what does she have to with ANYTHING about you and Yukitsuki? She comes to see her daddy, then vanishes just like that? And you her uncle? That doesn't make any sense! She sounds more like a lost child than anything…" Rias was the only one unaware with each comment she made about this Miu, one of Anthony's fists would ball up as his head hung down, refusing to look up. His fist would get tighter and tighter with each additional comment, also shaking due to how tightly it was clenched. He was most likely making indents of his nails in his palm because of it. "So what happened next? You dropped her off at her parents house and all those devices were just flashy toys? Hopefully they apologized for all the trouble she caused you, now please get back to talking about…"
"YOU GUARDA TUA FUCKING BOCCA, AMERI!" Anthony yelled out in anger, snapping his head up at Rias and unable to take anymore. This shocked everyone, even those who paid attention to Anthony's reaction. It's been a long time since he's snapped like that. The last time was around when they all first met and Asia just came into the picture when she was still a nun.
Rias was also a little shocked, and while her first instinct was to slap him for using such language against her (as she let him pass the first time since he was new back then)… she saw the look in his eyes. They were filled with rage yes, but also… sorrow. They were also a bit watery… was he crying again? He was also breathing slowly to try and control the rest of his rising emotions. The genuine emotion in those pushed away any doubt this was a made-up, on-the-spot fairytale. You couldn't fake this kind of sadness… not even the most talented actor in the universe.
"She was not… just some kid…" Anthony started slowly in a vert low tone, careful not to burst out yelling. You could hear the pain in his voice as he forced the words out. "She was special… so fucking special…" The ORC noticed an important detail: he kept saying was, as in past tense. Sure it could mean since the girl had to return to her own time, she was gone; but something about the way Anthony eyes looked told a different story. They were filled with pain…the same kind when he lost his parents. "She was a fighter… a little badass… and she risked everything… everything for all of us. Even if we'd hate her for it…" Anthony continued.
It was here Rias began to regret the way she asked her questions. While she didn't understand the full context as of yet; this story clearly had a deep, psychological impact on Anthony's persona. From how he described himself in the past, he had even less of a filter than he already did, and was an even bigger asshole than usual. So what changed? What caused him to become the Anthony they know and love today?
The obvious answer: Miu.
"… Anthony… who was that girl?" A concerned Asia was the one to ask this, beating Rias to it.
"What happened to her?" Asked Akeno, also concerned for him.
Anthony had looked at both ex-nun and Queen one-by-one as they asked their questions, but before Anthony answered either, he glared up at Rias. "… you gonna listen now?" He asked her in a slightly calmer tone, wanting to ensure there would be no more interruptions. Rias just nodded once. With a deep breath, Anthony continued his story. "… okay…"
-MEMORY RESUME-
The next day after the… incident. Yukiha and Anthony were walking to school. To be more precise, Anthony joined him halfway, just happening to take a path that lead to Yukiha's. Usually the three of them, or just Yukiha and Yukitsuki, would walk down this road. The absent one wasn't here for… reasons. And today was Saturday! They had school, on a fucking Saturday! Sure it was only a half day, but its called the weekend for crying out loud! WEEK! END!
And that little girl said Anthony was gonna start school in this Country… Fuck. That.
"I still can't believe you guys have school on the sacred day of Saturday," Anthony commented.
"We still get Sundays off," said Yukiha.
"Phew!" Anthony over-dramatically wiped his brow with his arm. "One day off. Oh, thank goodness!" He said, sarcastically. Back in America, the weekend meant zero school for 2 days. Here, even half a day on a weekend day seemed like a terrible sin. "You people take education way too seriously."
Yukiha didn't bother answering. Anthony wasn't exactly wrong, and he knew the school-less boy wasn't trying to be rude, but it came across that way. If he was gonna get far in this country, he needs to clean his act up. Was this how all Americans were brought up? He of course knew Anthony's special circumstances, but still...
"So anyway, how was your morning checkup?" Anthony then asked, and by morning checkup, he meant Yukiha getting woken up by his hot older sister. Well, technically they weren't REAL siblings through blood-relation, but their parents were busy people and barely home. Their dad was a journalist, and the mother was a manga artist. Once the mom tried to show off her work to Yukiha, but she got an earful by Haya when she barged into the room, and snatched it away. The mother repeatedly apologized until she was forgiven. The manga was apparently not for younger audiences.
Anthony managed to swipe it when no one was looking... she was quite talented.
As a result, Haya and Yukiha were alone for a large portion of their lives, and they grew very fond of each other, to the point where they'd kiss each other good morning... on the lips, hence the reason Anthony made lite of Yukiha for "morning checkups", as Haya was also the schools nurse. However, he found out completely by accident. He was at their house one day spending the night and went he woke up early to go downstairs for a quick drink of water and... yeah. They of course blushed and were mortified someone had seen them, but much to their shock (and relief), Anthony agreed to keep their secret. They weren't hurting anyone, so the American saw no issue with what they were doing... but that didn't stop him from taking shots at them once in a while.
"She noticed something was wrong," said Yukiha.
"Spot on as always, like a good doctor." Anthony said. "… did you tell her?" He asked, silently mentioning the turn-down from Yukitsuki.
"Only that things were awkward between us now," said Yukiha. He didn't tell Haya the full context, but she sensed something was up when she brought up Yukitsuki's name and her little brothers expression downed almost immediately. Like Yuki, she was smart AND hot.
"Do you think I should have…?" Yukiha was asking, wondering if he made the right choice to not tell his sister the story, but that's when Anthony spoke up.
"Forget it for now, man. That's your business." He said. Since Yukiha had a sister complex, the reverse was also true for Haya. If he told her, then that'll only make things worse. He can tell Nurse Blonde when he's good and ready. Yukiha only nodded, agreeing with Anthony's advice.
?: You still have me!
Both boys shrieked with clenched teeth and wide eyes in unison, not prepared for the sudden, yet cheerful voice that appeared behind them. Sure enough, just like she promised; it was Miu, their self-proclaimed daughter and niece of the future. Where the hell did she come from? And more importantly, how long was she following them?! Anthony himself was getting a tad annoyed, almost having another heart attack. If this was gonna be an everyday thing…
"Wh-Where did you come from?" Asked Yukiha.
"I told you I'd see you and Uncle tomorrow. Did I scare you, Daddy?" Miu asked innocently, wondering if maybe she should have just appeared normally instead.
"Will you stop calling us Uncle and Daddy?" Anthony asked, a little annoyed at getting surprised at this girls sudden appearance. He then added in a lower, yet still annoyed tone: "Some people might get the wrong idea…" This wasn't a lie either. People were starting to stare and give weird looks upon hearing the commotion…
"But you ARE my Uncle and Daddy!" Miu said with a pouty face.
"Not yet we aren't…" Anthony responded through his teeth. Under normal circumstances, no one would believe this little girls story about being from the future… but considering the things she did just yesterday to the boys, they couldn't help but believe her a little. They still didn't fully believe they were related to this girl somehow, that would take some more convincing. That's not even mentioning that neither boy had ever done… that thing.
"Listen… uh…" Yukiha tried to ask, but then had a mental block.
"Miu." She reminded him.
"Right… Miu…" He corrected himself. "Can you just… maybe call me and Anthony something else? I'd appreciate it if…" Yukiha tried to explain.
"No!" Miu declared, with a surprisingly strong resolve for a kid. Upon her next statement however, her eyes began to soften. "I'm calling you Uncle and Daddy, because you are my Uncle and Daddy. I'm not calling you anything else!" She said, looking like she was on the verge of tears, and while her usually high amount of willpower prevented her from balling like the child she was… you can hear the sadness cracking in her voice.
"I know I don't exist yet… and I can only imagine how weird this must be, talking to some random kid claiming to be your child…" She continued, surprisingly well aware of and addressing the elephant in the room. "But please, can I continue to call you Uncle and Daddy? Please?" She truly believed that these 2 were some kind of role models for her, and she had genuine parent-child feelings towards them. Neither boy really saw themselves as role model material, but this girl did.
Plus, you can't say 'no' to that face.
…
…
…
Yukiha: … Fine.
Anthony: Your our bambina.
Both boys answered in dry tones, the latter of them rolling his eyes before they gave Miu permission. Miu's face began to light up with an open mouth smile (apparently knowing what 'bambina' means), happy the two boys agreed. "But for the love of thick thighs, not in public." Anthony added, as people still had not taken their attention off the trio. Then Anthony got elbowed by Yukiha. Quite hard actually.
"And can you stop saying stupid shit around my child?" Yukiha said to Anthony.
"She's not your child. She's our child" Anthony responded with a silly tone and smile; also putting a hand on his heart, which did get Miu to giggle.
Yukiha mouthed: "I fucking hate you."
Anthony then patted and rubbed Miu's head. She was taken aback at first, but then decided she liked the feeling and smiled with closed eyes. "So kid, what brings you back on this fine day in the crappy 2000's?" He asked.
"… You don't believe me, do you?" Miu detected Anthony's sarcasm a mile away. For a kid, she was quite sharp. Either that, or Future Anthony didn't change much…
Anthony just shrugged. Yukiha was the one to respond with what was both on their minds. "I mean, we do a little bit, you disappearing and all…" he admitted.
"But our love child?…" Anthony added. "… Yeeeeeeeah, we're gonna need more to go on."
"Some things never change…" was Miu's response with a sigh.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Anthony demanded.
"Whenever Daddy sees something bizarre, he can't help but believe it." Miu said. Then added: "And your still as stubborn as ever, Uncle."
"That happens with anyone! Show them a card trick, they'll believe your a magician" was Anthony's counterargument, though appearing to ignore Miu's second statement.
"Did that also apply to the card you gave Asia?" Miu asked.
Anthony's expression froze a second later, the boy stopping dead in his tracks. Yukiha noticed this as well, and had to turn around to see Anthony, but didn't understand why he froze up so suddenly. "Anthony?…" Yukiha checked with him, but there was no response. "… Anthony!… You okay?" He asked again, wondering what was wrong with him.
Anthony remained still, slightly shivering… now his head felt like it was spinning! Who the fuck was this girl? How did she know that name? He's never told ANYONE about her, so how the hell did this girl find out?! Recovering, he suddenly looked down at Miu, and pulled her by her ponytail.
"OW! OW! OW! Uncle, that hurts! OW! OW!" Miu complained, her strange hair clip also shut its 'eyes' as if mirroring Miu's emotions, but Anthony was not willing to let her go or stop dragging her along for the ride. He also didn't care if some people saw. They went into a small path in-between houses before Anthony finally let her go harshly. As she groaned some more, and was about to ask what was that all about, but Anthony kneeled down to her eye-level quickly. He also got really close to her face, with a serious expression on his own, and was pointing a finger into her face.
"Listen kid; I don't know who the fuck you are, but it is not cute anymore!" Anthony whispered to her, remaining as calm as he could, though it was clear what Miu had said effected him as his tone was mixed with anger/frustration.
"But…" Miu tried, but was cut off.
"No! You listen to me!" Said Anthony, still keeping his voice down, pointing to himself upon saying 'me' then returned his finger to its original target. "You need to go find your parents, your real parents, and stop following us! No more of this bullshit about you being from another dimension..."
"Future!" Miu corrected.
"Whatever!" Anthony snapped, raising his volume a little louder but was still relatively low. "I don't care! You just need to stay the hell away from me, go back to preschool, and keep that imagination of yours to yourself!" Anthony added. He then began to walk away, feeling bad about leaving a little girl behind, but he was getting freaked out. This girl would definitely be a welcomed writer for Stan Lee, he'll give her that. As he got 3 feet away from her…
Miu: They both missed you.
Miu's voice caused Anthony to stop, frozen. She wasn't even looking at him and seemed to know that, because she continued. "When they found you again back in High School, you having been kicked out of your church after so long... reuniting with you was the best day of they're lives… a dream come true…" Anthony had taken a step around, and slowly turned his head and body around to look back at Miu. She again seemed to sense this, and continued further after looking up and back at him. "… They're names are Asia Argento and Irina Shidou… two of your best friends since your parents died in that terrible fire."
Miu began walking up to Anthony slowly by this point. He was still frozen in place because his brain was slowly registering what it was been told. Asia… Irina… two names he'd thought he'd never hear ever again. The fire was one thing, but he's never told a single soul about either of those girls. Not even dropped a subtle hint. "Playing video games together... defending them from bullies whenever they needed it... you were the best friend they ever had. You were they're whole world..." she added in.
Anthony continued to stare down at her as she fully approached him. Just who was this strange little girl?... How did she know so much about him?... The only possible way she could have was to be directly involved somehow, but all the crazy shit that happened between him and two 2 girls occurred years ago, far before he came to this country... and Miu was most likely just passing through her mothers legs at the time or already fresh out.
Either way, it was IMPOSSIBLE for her to know otherwise.
"... Who the hell are you?... Really." Was all Anthony could say, still in a calm voice but the anger/frustration was long gone. It was getting harder to deny what Miu was trying to sell. Could it really be true? Was she not from around here? Yes. That much was obvious with the Harry Potter bullshit she was pulling, but was it really possible she was from where she said she was? Not just any future... but his future?... How else could she possibly know any of those things unless it was true, as crazy as it sounded.
"Exactly what I said. Daddy's bambina from the future." Was Miu's answer, which got Anthony to recoil at the seriousness of her tone, but she wasn't done yet. After letting it sink in with him, she spoke again. "Like I said, I can only imagine how crazy this must feel. Meeting your niece who doesn't even exist yet," she said, which Anthony couldn't but mentally agree with: no, you really can't. "But everything I've told you is true. I came here for one reason only... to make your lives better..." she said, then with an even more serious faced added: "Even if you'll hate me for it."
With the level of determination and confidence in her voice, Anthony could no longer deny her or her story. Plus, it was strangely comforting to hear her call them 'Daddy' and 'Uncle', almost homely. But he still had one question: "How do you know so much about me?" In response, the Future Girl reached into her pocket, and pulled out a set of keys that had quite a bit of age behind them. Anthony cocked an eyebrow at first, but upon her showing it to him, he was taken aback once again.
It was a housekeys... his old homes housekeys...
He didn't know what to think. Upon staring at the keys for several long moments, he then slowly took it in his hands to examine them. After inspecting them for the same amount of time, he looked back at Miu. "... Where did you get this?" He asked in a serious, yet shaky tone.
"You gave them to me... before I left... for good luck..." was Miu's answer. "It was also a metaphor you taught me. If Daddy picked a different 'Key'... he wouldn't have become what he had."
Part of Anthony wanted to believe her. He really did... but this HAD to be a coincidence or some kind of trick. In order to be sure, he pulled out his cell phone and quickly dialed a number...
*Riiiiiiing! Riiiiiiing!*
In the office of Lezaza's Diner; the owner, who was in his true form as Azazel, was chilling with his feet on the desk. Upon the ringing of the phone, he picked it out casually. "Hello?"
Anthony didn't recognize the voice, though it did sound somewhat like his stepfather. Maybe the connection was a bit fuzzy? "Uuuuh, Lezaza?"
Upon hearing Anthony's voice, Azazel sat back up with an 'oh shit' look on his face as he transformed back into is alter-ego. He didn't need to do that for his voice mimicry, but just in case the kid decided to come in. His foster son wasn't ready to learn the truth about who he was, considering what Raynare had done to him so long ago. He also didn't expect to get a sudden call from Anthony now of all times. "No. It's Pinocchio... who else would it be?!" Asked 'Lezaza', using sarcasm to answer his stepson as that was kind of the relationship they had.
At the moment, though he already thought of a comeback, Anthony was in no mood to get into it with the old man right now. He only called for one reason only. "Uh. Listen, I need a favor."
"No. Your not old enough to date Pesca yet." Azazel/Lezaza joked.
Anthony held in the urge to fire back with a groan. "Look, can you check in the safe for a second?"
It was Azazel/Lezaza's turn to cock an eyebrow. "For what? Need extra cash for another hot date? I can't keep doing this, kid."
"Just tell me if the keys are still there!" Anthony snapped at him.
Azazel/Lezaza did seem surprised Anthony brought those things up. Why did he? He wanted nothing to do with them. "Ok-ay? Any reason why?" He asked, getting up from his seat normally and walking towards the portrait that concealed the safe in question.
"Just check if they're inside please." Anthony said as Azazel/Lezaza opened the portrait up like a door, revealing the safe itself. After punching the code, he took a peak and reached in, pulling out the keys in question.
"Yup. They're still here." Azazel/Lezaza said.
Anthony was silent for a moment. "... for real?"
"As real as my spine being forever screwed up." Azazel/Lezaza said.
"Are you fucking with me?"
"You'd know."
Anthony couldn't argue with that point. Even over a phone call, they could tell when one was screwing around with the other, which has happened on multiple occasions. Still, this was getting seriously weird. But in order for him to be absolutely sure... "Can you send me a picture of them?"
"Why?" The 'old man' asked.
"Just do it, Pacino!" Anthony snapped before hanging up. Still not understanding, Lezaza held the phone out so the contents of the safe can be seen, with had the housekeys sitting atop. He then sent the picture. Anthony received the message and sure enough, the keys were still there, just sitting in the old man's safe as Anthony held the weathered version side-by-side by the phone picture. The young Italians hands couldn't help but start shaking, his brain processing all this information as it was fed to him.
There was no denying it... they the exact same keys... and somehow a second set ended up in the hands of a little girl he just met out of nowhere. Anthony looked back at her, and see looked up at him.
As Yukiha stood on the pathway alone, he didn't know why Anthony reacted that way and dragged Miu off the way he did... should he have followed them? Probably not. It was both a good and bad idea. Good because Anthony did have a bit of a temper, though rare unless someone is directly threatened; but it was a bad idea also because if he went down that alley, with a little girl in tow, like Anthony said: "people might get the wrong idea…"
He didn't have to anyway, as Anthony and Miu emerged from the path in-between houses. While Anthony walked normally, Miu was skipping. She was definitely a child...
"What was that all about?" Yukiha asked, but he then noticed a look in Anthony's eyes he's never seen before. He was calm now, but he couldn't help but see lingering shock in the Italian-American's eyes. "Hey, you ok?"
"Yeah... I'm fine." Anthony said, then added after a few seconds; "She's telling the truth."
Yukiha was surprised. Anthony trusted this girl all of a sudden? Why? Did something happen down that path? "She is?"
"Si." Anthony confirmed.
"What? Did she show you the future or something?" As Yukiha asked that, jokingly mostly, he noticed Anthony glanced back a Miu before looking back at him and answering the question.
"You can say that..." Anthony said, he then began rubbing his face with a hand. Yukiha took the hint. As curious as he was, he probably shouldn't pry into whatever happened down that path much further. It clearly had an effect on Anthony.
"O-kay, but how is she from OUR future? I'm still not totally convinced." Yukiha said.
Miu then jumped into the conversation. "I know! How's about I predict something that'll happen today?" She suggested, getting both boys (despite what one just experienced) to cock an eyebrow each. "If things process as I say, then there's no room for discussion. You'll have no choice but to believe me, right?" Both boys pondered upon that. That was a valid point. If Miu did in fact predict something flawlessly, then there wasn't any reason to debate it anymore. It would be undeniable proof that she wasn't just from any future, but theirs.
"I suppose we wouldn't..." said Yukiha.
Miu then reached into her pocket again, the same one as before. Was she going for the keys again? That was enough to get Anthony onboard, but they wouldn't have an effect on Yukiha. However this time, she pulled out a completely different item. It was a small, battered notebook. What was it for? Her dairy or something? The moment she opened it up and started turning the pages, she was smiling; but also looked like she was gonna start crying shortly.
While the book was beaten, there was something familiar about it to Yukiha. He had a journal of the same size and shape, and wrote in it everyday for as long as he could remember. Anthony was aware of this as well, having seen him write in it several times. While the title of Miu's was faded, the letters "Y" and "A" could be seen... and there was no "Y" or "A" in "Miu"...
'I traveled all the way back to see you guys! To help you both change your lives for the better!' The moment of their first meeting with Miu and her words echoed in the back of their minds.
"Miu... who's journal is that?" Yukiha asked, but he never got a response. Either because of how focused Miu was turning the pages and forcing herself not to cry, or maybe she just ignored them, but the latter didn't seem as likely.
"AH! Here it is!" Miu declared, then looked up toward both her Daddy and Uncle. "An international student will be enrolling today!"
Both boys blinked, and Yukiha glanced at Anthony, which he noticed. "... Don't look at me, I didn't sign my life away."
"Its a girl actually," Miu added, whom was looking back down at the journal. "She's an old friend of Daddies... you'll met up with Auntie Haya during lunch..." Miu continued and for some reason, a deep red flush appeared on her face as she looked at the notebook, then looked back up at the boys after reading the entry. "And you and the student with have an... incident..." Miu finished, sounding embarrassed as she closed the book and put it away back into her pocket. So that was her prediction, huh? Anthony and Yukiha decided to keep this in mind.
But... why was she blushing at the word 'incident' for?
-TIME BREAK-
Anthony and Yukiha were now in homeroom, but Miu had vanished just before they arrived at the school itself, claiming she had to go back once more. Of course, with no way of following or contacting her, they'll just have to wait for her inevitable return to the present... er, the past in her case. She also mentioned something about the new student being a "Key" to Yukiha, but whatever that was supposed to mean the second boy clearly had no idea. Anthony wasn't too sure of it himself so he didn't bother saying a word about it.
"Morning."
"Sup!"
Both Anthony and Yukiha were greeted by two other boys in the room, Mikiya and Kazuhide... no, they are NOTHING like the Perverted Duo; though Kazuhide did have issues... in any case, Mikiya and Kazuhide wore the same uniform as the rest of the males in the student body did. Mikiya had short green hair and hazel eyes, while Kazuhide had short blond hair and brown eyes. It was basically the same as always... except for when Yukitsuki walked in, and upon she and Yukiha making eye contact, caused a noticeable change in the atmosphere.
Awkward wasn't strong enough to describe it.
"Yuki?... You ok? You've been acting weird all morn..." a new girl came by, concerned for Yukitsuki, then stopped upon noticing the boys along with Yuki's expression towards Yukiha. She was a tad taller than Yukitsuki, about the same height as Anthony give or take an inch. Like anyone else in the school, she wore the girls version of the uniform, but instead of short hair she had long black hair with a long ponytail tied from a bun on her head that went down to waist-length, complemented with long V-bangs. If you weren't really looking or had seen her from a distance, you would have assumed this was Akeno with a slightly different hairstyle; but this girl instead had a slim, slender figure and red eyes that matched the color of garnets. Her bust wasn't even close to Akeno's size either, maybe being a 'B', or just about a 'C' at best.
This was Eri Shirasagi, better known (or at least called by Anthony) as the "Man-Eater". She was very close with Yukitsuki, and was the type of girl to defend the pinkette from real (or perceived) danger, which included men. She didn't have much of a problem with Yukiha per say, and she did get into verbal spats with Anthony on occasion, but she would always get physical with Kazuhide because of his mouth. She actually cares allot for people, which makes her popular so for the most part, they all had a friendly relationship.
Upon seeing to awkward eye contact between Yukiha and Yukitsuki, she made the connection. "What did you do?" She asked in a calm, yet aggravated tone; approaching Yukiha and getting into his face a bit with a finger point. While she didn't know what happened, it was obvious to her that something did happen.
"No…" Yukisuki defended him in a soft tone. "Yukiha didn't do anything…"
"Then it was you, wasn't it?" Eri's new target was Anthony. And of course, if you know him…
"Yup! Took her up to the roof just yesterday, where we had a very. Passionate evening." Anthony said, but he made sure to sound as genuine as possible.
It worked. "I knew it! You Americans are so forward! Did she even want it? Or did you just force her?!" Eri snapped, thinking she caught him red-handed. This continued for a good 20 seconds, with the entire class either brushing it off and/or rolled their eyes. They also knew Anthony too well.
At the 30 second mark, Eri was in the middle of ranting about love being a two-way street (which Anthony held in the urge to roast her of the irony coming out of her mouth) when Yukitsuki couldn't take it anymore. "Eri." Yukitsuki said in her current tone, it having not changed, though it was flat now. This caused the overprotective girl to stop and look back at the pinkette. "He's screwing with you again." She revealed to Eri.
Eri the "Man-Eater" looked back at Anthony with an open mouth, as if saying: "Is he?" Anthony at this point could no longer keep a straight face, and smiled before chuckling and snorting a bit. "… Your evil." Was her dry response.
"Mattina to you too," Anthony said with a smile.
"No one asked you." Eri responded again.
"Its honestly amazing how much Eri hates guys, but can still share the same room as one" said Kazuhide.
"I'm impressed and concerned." Mikiya.
"Good morning, Yukiha…"
"Ah… yeah. Morning."
Both Yuki and Yukiha said a proper Good Morning to each other, but you could still feel the awkwardness in the air even as they didn't take their eyes off each other. Only Anthony knew why, but it wasn't his business to share that information. Even as more of an asshole back then, he knew when and where to button his yap.
Mikiya: …
Anthony: …
Eri: …
Kazuhide: … Damn… kinda jealous he gets to stare at her for so lon-…
Pow!
Anthony punched Kazuhide in the back of the head, which effectively got him to shut up. Now was NOT the time. Seriously though, will he ever meet another boy(s) like this?
"Thank you." Eri thanked Anthony in a flat tone and closed eyes, for she was about strike Kazuhide herself.
"Didn't do it just for you." Anthony said in a similar tone and mannerisms as Eri, as he at least had that in common with her; they both can't stand Kazuhide sometimes.
"Owwwwww…" Kazuhide began to recover, groaning as he did so.
"Maybe just shut up for a while?" Suggested Mikiya, being the straight-man of the two. "Oh? And Eri?" He then asked.
"I know," she said, already reading the room. "I'll take Yuki, you get Yukiha."
Anthony didn't know what happened after that. Mikiya and Eri took their 'target' out of the classroom even though class was literally about to start in a few minutes, but he did hear Eri compliment Yukiha with a smile: "Guess you have balls after all." She must have known Yukiha asked Yuki out.
-TIME BREAK-
The 4 of them got back soon enough. The warning bell rang so they did have some time before the teacher actually showed up. "Sure… leave me behind with the Italian." Moaned Kazuhide.
"Well someone had keep an eye on you." Was Anthony's answer to that. "So, how'd it go?" He asked the 4 once they returned. They didn't get back at the same time, Eri and Yuki got back first, then Mikiya and Yukiha a minute after.
"It went alright" Mikiya said.
"Yup. Everything's all cleared up now. Besides, I did it for Yuki." Said Eri. "Speaking of which, you had something you wanted to say?" She asked, but the question was directed to Yukitsuki.
"Yeah… Yukiha?" Yukitsuki said to Yukiha.
"Uh, yeah?" Yukiha said, trying to act normal despite the tension.
"It feels weird to me too, so why not just let things go back to the way they were for now?" The short pinkette suggested. While her lips did form a small smile, you could tell she still felt a little awkward about the whole situation. Yukiha didn't answer right away, appearing to be caught off guard by the question or was just thinking it over.
'That's kinda impossible,' thought Anthony.
In his experience, however little it was; love was a powerful, yet curious emotion. Love wasn't the same for everyone and everything, it varied in many different ways. When he had his parents, he loved them dearly. Lezaza was great and all, but it wasn't the same feeling of love. This included a few girls he had dated in this country, also to varying degrees, but each one was different when it came to him loving (and sometimes missing) some more than others. And while Anthony was an only child, he could imagine feelings towards siblings would be different than to the rest of the family.
That being said, it was also the most complicated emotion for those reasons. When this emotion is rejected, it made you feel like you'd been pushed under a bus… then continued to get ran over by nonstop traffic.
"I'm sorry. Was that selfish?" Yukitsuki asked kindly, not wanting to cause any trouble. Anthony opened his mouth, but was then elbowed by Eri (quite hard actually, but not enough to have him physically react too much), who seemed to sense his intent without even looking at him.
"No!" Yukiha said almost immediately. "No… I feel the same way." Things appeared to calm down a bit after that, with the friends returning to their seats.
"Come on, Kazuhide. Don't you wanna see the new girl? Up close and personal?" Mikiya bribed Kazuhide, as he was whining about returning to his seat with Mikiya, both of whom were in the very front.
"Oh, yeah! Good point!" Kazuhide's mood changed quickly. "I need to make a first good impression! Then our relationship will develop and became real intimate!"
The group mentally and visually sighed. "You need to shoot yourself in the face sometime." Eri stated with a groan.
"I think he's played 10 too many Dating Sims…" Anthony added with a groan himself as he stood in-between the girls.
"Its possible… as slim as it may be…" Yukitsuki said, which got Anthony's attention.
"Your saying Kazuhide has a chance?" Asked Anthony in surprise. Admittedly, both girls agreed with him.
"I'm saying we should be careful." Said Yukitsuki.
"So he does have one?" Anthony asked again, intrigued yet confused at Yuki's answer. Really?… Kazuhide?… To be fair, even as a straight dude himself, Anthony couldn't help but admit that Kazuhide wasn't that bad looking, its his personality thats the issue. But him getting with any girl for ANY amount of time was like saying Anthony will enroll in school and met 2 perverts that are 200x worse than Kazuhide.
Never. Going. To happen.
Yukitsuki: It could happen.
Anthony: So did the Wii U…
"You guys are horrible. Besides, your all overlooking one important thing!" Kazuhide said. Anthony immediately pinched the bridge of his nose, already predicting what the guy was about to say, but prayed he'd keep his mouth shut. For once. "She's a foreigner, right? Which means a HUGE language barrier! Not to mention homesickness!" He then grinned. "And when I swoop in, I'll help her out! Have a conversation and be her knight in shining armor! She HAS to fall for me!"
"Pig." Was Eri's only word.
"You do realize Date A Live's not the real world, right?" Anthony 'asked'. He couldn't help but think about some of the irony in that comment however, as one character in that series kinda reflects a certain girl he and Yukiha met yesterday… at least she didn't devour someone else's time, least he hoped not.
The final bell the rang, signaling the beginning of the day.
"Alright. Settle down, class." Said the teacher who just walked in. He wore a black suit with matching dress pants. "As your most likely already aware, we have a new student to welcome to our lovely school." He made a dry joke while making his announcement, which did cause many students that were not in Yuki and Yukiha's group to look at Anthony. "And no, its not our unofficial class clown" the teacher continued, fully aware of Anthony as well, having been in on it right from the start.
"Sorry kids," Anthony said with a shrug.
"If your going to be here all period, at least take a seat, and try to act like a student." The teacher said. Why didn't he do anything or report about a trespassing child?… They didn't pay him enough to do that either.
"I'll try." Anthony said with a silly smile, as he did just that and sat at an empty desk, which was behind Yukiha. In an ironic twist of fate, there's always 2 extra desks always unoccupied by anyone in this class, which were both in front and behind Yukiha. This allowed Anthony to take a seat ever since coming here, almost as if he was a student enrolled here.
The teacher then spoke again, looking towards the door. "Alright. Come in, Mischa."
Upon hearing that name, Yukiha visibly flinched and sat up very straight. "Yo, bro? What's wrong?" Anthony asked in a whisper, but he and the whole class found our why a second later, everyone falling silent.
The first thing everyone saw was long white-silver hair connected to a beautiful girl that sparkled and glittered in the morning sunlight coming from the windows as it flowed down her back, with a big red ribbon tied in the back. She had skin as white as winter days, and blue-cyan eyes to match its nights. While she wore the same uniform as anyone else, certain 'features' could barely be contained by it (just below Rias' size, but still bigger than Asia's), the top-most button needing to be opened as it looked like it would openly refuse to close even if it was attempted. Even the closed button below it looked like it would pop right out!
Somehow, this girl managed to look as cute as a puppy, while at the same time as hot as a pop idol.
Many men excluding the teacher himself stared in awe at the new student, jaws hanging in amazement. Girls even dropped their jaws as how incredible this "Mischa" character looked, looking flawless in appearance and almost angel-like.
"She's so pretty…" Yukitsuki was one of those girls. She was straight herself, but if she wasn't dating someone right now…
"My… God…" Eri said, another jaw-dropped girl. Mikiya was also shocked, but was the only one to not make a comment.
"She's a Goddess…" Kazuhide said. For once, the friends couldn't disagree. Its like this girl was from another plane of existence beyond mortal comprehension, appearing perfect in every way.
While everyone was distracted, Anthony (having recovered quickly from his own shock) put two-and-two together. "… Yukiha… do you…?"
"Uh-huh." Yukiha didn't need Anthony to finish the question. He knew this girl. It was his other childhood friend, this one before Yukitsuki, but he hadn't seen her in quite some time. He couldn't deny she certainly changed much, but even without the teacher having introduced her, he probably would have figured out who this was by her looks alone.
"Hello, everyone! My name's Mischa Eisenstein!" Mischa began in a cheerfully cute voice, very innocent-like. "I'm from Russia and…" she then trailed off for some reason and turned her head a bit, something catching her eye. Or rather… someone.
"Ah!" Faster than the eye could follow, Mischa hurriedly made her way over to the desks of Anthony and Yukiha, stopping directly in front of the latter. She seemed happy upon making her way over here, and that feeling appeared to intensify with her eyes sparkling and the smile on her face getting bigger. "Yukiha! I can't believe its you!" Mischa then gave the boy in question a big hug, squeezing their bodies together tightly. "Its been forever!" She then nudges her head into the boys chest, again akin to a puppy.
Everyone was still staring, comprehending what was going on. After a few seconds, Yukiha slowly hugs her back. "Long time so see, Mischa…" he said, slowly processing what just happened. Out of ALL the people on the planet to come into his class… it was Mischa. Was this who Miu was talking about? That would explain the Future Girls blush, considering how he used to know the Russian. Speaking of blushes, Mischa's cheeks took on a red tint upon looking into Yukiha's eyes…
"Hey, Yukiha? Remember that promise we made?" She asked. Yukiha looked perplexed at first, which caused the Russian girl's face to pout. "Did you forget?"
Yukiha recovered then. "You mean the one we made 8 years ago…?" He asked, and the sparkle in Mischa's eyes slowly returned. "About make me your girlfriend if we see each other again?"
The entire class fell silent again. Mischa however, regained that same big smile she had on her face earlier. "You remembered!" She nuzzled into his chest again, and squeezed him even tighter.
Smooch.
…
…
…
If this was told in Yukiha's point of view, Mischa's face would be fulling his vision. She was kissing him, on the lips, in front of the whole class. It took about 2 seconds before someone finally broke the stunned silence.
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa…!" Eri was first, unable to hold back the shock written all over her face.
"Yuihaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Kazuhide was second, though he sounded both jealous and shocked.
Yukitsuki just stared, her mouth still hanging open, yet her eyes wider than before. Seeing the scene of Yukiha kissing another girl seemed to have an effect on her despite currently dating someone.
"Well, that escalated quickly…" Mikiya said. The class was in a riot, various comments and reactions were thrown, but it didn't appear the kissing couple was aware or even cared. They were lost in their own little world.
"… she's our daughter…" Anthony muttered to himself.
After what seemed like an eternity, Mischa and Yukiha finally broke apart, love deep in Mischa's eyes as she looked into Yukiha's. "I'll never leave you again…" she said softly; which somehow sounded wholesome, innocent, yet also sexy all in one take. Anthony didn't know why, but then Yukiha kissed Mischa back this time. It was her turn to be shocked, but must have decided she enjoyed the feeling of him initiating the kiss and went along with it. Either it was his hormones or instincts acting up after being kissed by a cute girl, or maybe the rejection from Yuki was still fresh in his mind and driving him to do so.
"I sense a storm coming…" said Mikiya.
"My man…" Anthony began, then pointed to the kissing duo. "That's an earthquake."
That's a wrap for the first flashback chapter, and its only gonna get crazier from this point onward. Hope you enjoyed, and I'll see ya in the next one.
Anthony's Italian Dictionary:
1) Suscettibile: means "sensitive".
2) Guarda Tua Bocca: means "watch your mouth".
3) Bambina: means "daughter" or a female child.
4) Mattina: means "good morning".
