Krista, Mikasa and Annie. Three almost completely different students, going through high school together in the same dormitory. Having spent months together co-existing peacefully as roommates, their achieved balance is unshakable by almost anything, even something as major as them gaining a new roommate. Which would be the case, except that their new roommate is a guy.

15. Announcement, Again

Hey there everyone, how's life?

Welp, I'm here with an update on my condition. The surgery was a success, otherwise I wouldn't be here. I still have very little motor function in my legs, but hey, the doctor's say they should be back to full strength sooner or later, so I'm not that torn up about it. Honestly I'm just happy they let me bring in takeout. Hospital food is disgusting. Like, it looks and smells like the real food, but everything is just... off, you know? Yeah.

Right, now on to what you're here for. I still do intend to update Not In Here, Please sooner or later. But, and I'm gonna be brutally honest here, motivation has kinda run dry. I stopped writing not just this but my writing projects for months, and came back to unfinished chapters and disjointed, almost nonsensical notes that I left for myself. If only past me wasn't a lazy bastard and actually elaborated what "Berthlt and Krista argue" means and how it fits into the story. Urgh. Writing is like homework, pause for a while and you don't feel like it anymore.

Anyway, I will get this updated sooner or later. End of the year seems like a reasonable timeline but I'm not holding my breath. Right now I'm just trying to get back in the groove, get my motivation and writing skills back, which has atrophied in equal proportion to my leg muscles since July. It didn't feel right to just leave you guys dangling here, so here's the update. It was either that or I release a 800 word chapter with like half of the Eremika date, which would just be unsatisfying.
