Chapter 3 First Sight of Love
After going to Accumula Town, they find the Professor, who says, "Ah, Ash! Cheren! Bianca! There you are! Traveling with your Pokémon is truly one of the joys of being a Trainer! Please follow me. I'd like to show you the most important place for a Trainer to know!"
As they follow the Professor into the Pokemon Center, Ash says, "This is the Pokemon Center of Unova, right?"
"Of course. Don't you feel better as soon as you step through the door? OK, let's start your tour!" Juniper says as they start to walk around the place.
"A Pokémon Center is a truly incredible place! Do you know why? Because your Pokémon can be healed! And, what's more, it's absolutely free! A Pokémon Center is a Trainer's best friend! Here, give it a try." Juniper says,
With Ash helping them out, they try out the Pokemon Center and they are in awe. Ash notices a Pokemon that isn't Chansey that holds the cart with the Pokemon, and he asks, "Is that a Pokemon from Unova?"
"That is an Audino. In the Unova Region, Audino is the Pokemon that helps Nurse Joy with treating the Pokemon." Juniper says.
After healing the Pokemon, Professor Juniper says, "OK. Now that your Pokémon have rested, I'll show you how to use the PC at a Pokémon Center."
As they show them around the PC, she says, "This is the PC. It's free for any Trainer to use. You can store Pokémon in your PC Boxes or select Pokémon stored in your PC Boxes to take along with you. In addition, if you catch a new Pokémon while you have six Pokémon traveling with you, the Pokémon you just caught is sent automatically to the PC network! Surprising, isn't it? Amazing, even. Here's something else that's cool. If you select my PC, I'll evaluate the progress you've made on your Pokédex!"
Bianca says, "Professor... It says "Someone's PC" on the screen. Who is Someone?"
"Very good, Bianca. That's a great observation! Good question, and I'd like to say more, but for now, just ignore that and go ahead and use the PC. "Someone" is the person who made the Pokémon Storage System. …Someone I'm sure you'll meet someday!"
"For me, I am from Kanto, so my PC is said Bill, who I met in Cerulean Cape that made the Pokemon Storage System." Ash says.
"OK, let's move on!" Juniper says as they walk towards a small mart. "Now, this is the Poké Mart. This is the place to buy useful items and sell the ones you don't need anymore! That gentleman over there will help you with a smile!"
"Wow...in the regions I have traveled in, they are separated into two buildings..." Ash says as Pikachu nods in agreement.
"So, let's wrap this up. I've given you the basics of being a Trainer! I'm going to head back to Nuvema Town. One final thing… When you get to Striaton City, go and meet an inventor named Fennel. She's a friend of mine from long ago, and I'm sure she'll help you on your way! Best of luck! I hope that your journeys prove to be the adventure of a lifetime!"
After that, she has left the Pokemon Center. Bianca decides to check out the Poke Mart, while Cheren and Ash decide to head out of the Pokemon Center. They hear a voice says, "Sounds like something's going on in the plaza!"
"Well, let's have a little look-see." Another man replies to the voice as they go to the plaza. As they go to the plaza, they find some people in weird outfits, leading by a man with green hair.
The man says, "My name is Ghetsis. I am here representing Team Plasma. Today, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to talk to you about Pokémon liberation."
"Team Plasma..." Ash is a little annoyed, when she stepped foot in the next town of Kanto, she met Team Rocket, and in Hoenn, she met Team Magma. And now...she knows that something is not right with this Team Plasma.
"I'm sure most of you believe that we humans and Pokémon are partners that have come to live together because we want and need each other. However... Is that really the truth? Have you ever considered that perhaps we humans... only assume that this is the truth?
Everyone in the crowd is confused, and he continues, "Pokémon are subject to the selfish commands of Trainers... They get pushed around when they are our "partners" at work... Can anyone say with confidence that there is no truth in what I'm saying?"
"Yikes!" "I don't know..." "No way..." The crowd is a little terrified, but Ash is also thinking about this group.
"Now, ladies and gentlemen, Pokémon are different from humans. They are living beings that contain unknown potential. They are living beings from whom we humans have much to learn. Tell me, what is our responsibility toward these wonderful beings called Pokémon?"

After that, the man and the grunts leave, a man says, "About that speech...What do you think we should do?"
"Liberate Pokemon? That's not even possible!" A younger man says.
Ash turns to Pikachu and says, "Pikachu, about what that man says, do you think I pushed you around as I didn't treat you equally?"
"Of course not, Ash. You are the best trainer I could ever have. You think of us most of the time, just ignore what that man said, it is not worth it." Pikachu says as he is trying to assure his female friend.
"Thanks, buddy." Ash smiles as he pets the Pokemon's hair. "I am glad that is what you have thought of me."
"Your Pokémon... Just now, it was saying..." Just then, Ash turns around and she sees a green-haired boy who is the same age as her, on his shoulder is a Purrloin.
"Slow down. You talk too fast. And what's this about Pokémon… talking? That's an odd thing to say." Cheren says back to the boy.
"Yes, that Pikachu is talking to the girl." The boy stops in front of Ash, who is having a strange feeling inside her heart after seeing him getting close to her. "Can you hear what your Pokemon are saying?"
"Well...I..." Ash is now stuttering in front of the boy. "I can...I mean...I understand what they are saying..."
N chuckles a little, since the girl in front of him is quite cute indeed. He says, "My name is N."
"My name is Ash, and this is Cheren." Ash says.
Cheren says, "We were asked to complete the Pokédex, and we just left on our journey. My main goal is to become the Champion, though."
"The Pokédex, eh? So... You're going to confine many, many Pokémon in Poké Balls for that, then. I'm a Trainer, too, but I can't help wondering... Are Pokémon really happy that way?" N asks with a sad tone.
"If a Pokemon doesn't like being inside of a Pokeball, like my Pikachu, I won't force them. I am not going to capture Pokemon just for the sake of fulfilling the Pokedex. I want to be friends with them." Ash says, not knowing why she would outburst in front of a boy like him.
"You really are an interesting girl. Well, Ash, is it? Can you let me hear your Pokemon's voice again by having a battle with me?" N asks.
Ash snaps out of her trance of the boy in front of him, she says, "If you want a battle, of course I can give you one."
Pikachu also nods in agreement as they go to the battlefield in the plaza. Purrloin and Pikachu are jumping from their shoulders, and Ash says, "Let's have the first move. Use Quick Attack."
N sees how Pikachu is charging and he doesn't seem to be worried. "Use Scratch to stop it."
Purrloin charges towards Pikachu, as it is about to hit the cat Pokemon, it just gets scratched by the face. Ash says, "Wow..."
"More! Let me hear the voice of your Pokémon! Use Scratch again." N says, and Ash says, "Dodge it, Pikachu!"
Pikachu tries to dodge the attack, but Purrloin also manages to catch up to Pikachu's speed and gives damage to it.
"Pikachu! Are you okay?" Ash asks, and Pikachu says, "I am fine, don't worry about me. I will fight alongside you no matter what."
Obviously, N can also hear what Pikachu is talking about, and he is amazed. Ash says, "Now Pikachu, let's show them our strongest move, Volt Tackle!"
Pikachu is now surrounded by electricity and charges at Purrloin, the move causes Purrloin to faint in the end. N says, "I never expected to hear Pokémon say such things...You must have bonded with Pikachu so well."
Ash smiles and she hugs Pikachu. "You did it, Pikachu. You won."
N doesn't know why, the way that Ash is interacting with Pikachu, is just what he wants to see, what he wants to protect. But he shakes his head and says, "As long as Pokémon are confined in Poké Balls... Pokémon will never become perfect beings. I have to change the world for Pokémon, because they're my friends."
He walks towards Ash and says, "We will meet again, Ash."
Ash is a little sad that he leaves, but she knows that she will be meeting him again. Cheren says, "Huh… Strange guy. But I'm not going to worry about it. Trainers and Pokémon help each other out! Listen, I'm going on ahead. I want to battle the Gym leader in the next town—Striaton City. Aim to battle Gym Leader after Gym Leader. The best way for a trainer to become stronger is to challenge the gym leaders in each area."
After Cheren leaves, Pikachu asks, "Ash, do you think that N might be a part of that Team Plasma? I mean...he has the same hair color as the man that was giving the speech."
"I don't think he is." Ash says. "And I don't know why...I feel hot and my heart is beating fast when I met him for the first time...what is happening to me? Am I sick?"
Pikachu is a little surprised, as he has never heard her saying those words before, but Ash shakes her head and says, "Sorry to make you worried, Pikachu. Let's go back to the Pokemon Center for rest."
Pikachu nods, but that isn't going to stop him from concerning his trainer. At the same time, N is walking on the road while feeding Oran Berries to Purrloin. He is also thinking the same thing, as it is his first time meeting a girl like Ash.
"What's going on with me? When I got close to her...I suddenly have those weird feelings inside my heart..." N says.
Purrloin is also worried about N, and N just pets the cat Pokemon to assure it that he is fine, but he is thinking, "Just who are you? Ash?"
And here is the new chapter, Ash and N have met for the first time and sparks are inside the two trainers. I wonder what will happen if they meet again? I hope you like this chapter.
