Chapter 2: And so, it Begins
I don't own anything. Resident Evil belongs to Capcom and Tomb Raider belongs to Core Design, Crystal Dynamics, and I think Square Enix. The only thing I own is the changes made to the stories of the Tomb Raider games/comics and Resident Evil games/comics/CG movies, the person that has taken over Kathrine Warren's life, and Rose Warren. This story also will be bloody, violent, and have cursing. It's rated T for Teen.

"Dad, why do you want to take Rose to Raccoon General? It's packed, and Rose just has the sniffles." Kat stated as she looked from Rose on the couch to her father who was looking very nervous.
"If General is…as packed as you're implying…then how about Spencer Memorial?" Michel asked rubbing he forehead.
"Dad, every hospital and clinic are packed right now." She told him, feeling like she was living through Covid-19 again from her old life. "People are sick with something and I don't want to risk Rose catching it." She knew the only way to get the T-virus was through a bite, infected water and the one span of time where it is temporarily air born. "Look, all she needs is some cold medicine and to rest."
"What if she has what the people in the hospitals have?" He asked looking to Rose slowly as if expecting her to attack them.
Kat glared. "Elementary school might be a Petri Dish, Dad, but whatever the people at the hospital have isn't what Rose has." She looked to her daughter with crossed arms. "The symptoms aren't even the same. Rose just has a cold."
"Are you sure? I can have—"
"Dad. Just go to your meeting with Irons and whoever the heck. I'll run to the store and get Rose some cold medicine and Chicken Noodle soup." Kat interrupted as she looked to him. "We'll be fine."
"Fine. Okay. Just want to make sure nothing's wrong with her." He then left with his coat and keys.
Kat shook her head. She was worried now. She didn't remember this. Umbrella could not have sent the Team to take Birkin and his G-virus yet. Here were a bunch of cases that certainly seemed like T got released. She sighed and looked to Rose. She was glad it was just a cold.

Kat put her Satellite phone to her ear. She knew that tomorrow was when things would really get rolling. She had to try to stop Claire from coming there. It was a long shot, but she had to try. After a few rings, Claire's voice rang through.
"Kat, hey! How are you doing?" Claire asked.
"Not too great." Kat told her honestly. "Rose just got over a cold, but something…" She stopped, why was she going to lie? "Claire…Something really bad is happening. And I have to tell you everything."
Kat then spent the next hour explaining as much as she dared. That included her reincarnation with future memories, what happened to her on Yamatai, the people now sick, and what she knew about the Zombies and monsters. She even told her about Umbrella and Trinity, but Claire interrupted her before she got into more detail.
"Is Chris there? I haven't heard from him in a while." Claire asked sounding anxious.
"No, Chris left town a few weeks ago. He's somewhere in Europe now." Kat told her.
"Okay, then get out of the city. If it's going to be as bad as you say, then it won't be safe for you or Rose." Claire insisted.
"I can't go. Dad will have the entire PD after me and Rose could be taken from me. Not only that but I can't leave Sherry here." Kat explained looking to her backpacks. "I prepared for this, Claire."
"Okay, then I'm coming to you and getting you out of there." Claire stated with the sounds of moving around. "It'll take me some time to get there, but I'll get there."
"It'll take you a few days. You're in New York." Kat nodded knowing how stubborn Claire was.
"What, no 'it's too dangerous, stay away'?" Claire asked.
"Would you listen to me if I told you to stay away?" Kat asked.
"No." Claire agreed. "You weren't alone on Yamatai, you aren't gonna be alone through this. I'm coming."
Kat sighed but nodded. "Okay. But be careful. When you see a zombie, aim for the head. Don't hesitate or, if you can, try to duck away. They don't move very fast."
"Yeah…" Claire said. "I'll call you when I'm close."
"You might not get through. Umbrella will cut off all outside communication. Unless we both have military grade radios, which we don't." Kat told her.
"Damn. Okay…" Claire muttered trying to think of something.
"If you get here on the 29th, meet Rose and I at the Police Station." Kat told her even though she shuttered at that part of her plan.
"Okay, sounds like a good idea. Stay safe." Claire told her before hanging up.
Kat lowered her phone and looked at the date. One more day. She had everything. She had all the water needed for two weeks with extra for when she and Rose grouped up with Leon, Clare, and Sherry. Same for the Shark Bites and Peanut Butter PowerBar's. She had first aid sprays, med-kits, her weapons, ammo, and blankets in the item boxes for when it was time. In backpacks where her maps, journal, file on Irons, file on her father, and the smaller things needed for survival and communication. She had sent everything sentimental to herself and her daughter to Lara for safekeeping. She and her daughter would be ready. She just had to tell her daughter when she picked her up.
Country: America, State: Pennsylvania, City: Raccoon City, Place: Warren Residence, Area: Kat's bedroom, Month: September, Day: Wednesday 23rd, Year: 1998, Time: 5:14 AM…
"Kathrine, wake up."
Kat groggily opened her eyes and looked to see her father had been shaking her. He held a phone to his ear and looked terrified. He was sweating bullets and his eyes were bug wide.
"Yeah, I heard you…but really?" She heard him ask into the phone as he got up and waked away from her.
Kat jumped out of bed and looked to the date. She felt a chill run down her spine then. It was the day. The day that it all goes down. She walked to her dresser as her father looked to her.
"Get dressed, and get Rose dressed. Meet me at the car…Yes, I'm still here…please, why? What happened?" He asked into the phone then left her room all together.
The door closed and Kat jumped to getting changed. Her mind thinking about how she and her daughter should only move at night. So, she put on dark colors, a tank top, jean jacket, think jean pants, thick hiking boots. She tossed her hair into a ponytail, slipped her backpack on, and picked up Rose's. She left her room and crossed the hall to Rose's room. Once inside, she walked to Rose and lightly shook her awake.
"Rose, Sweetie. It's time." She told her.
Rose opened her eyes and frowned confused a moment then nodded. Kat had told her the day before of what was happening and told her of her plan. Kat helped Rose get dressed in the dark colors she had, which mostly consisted of blues and purples. She was dressed in a turtleneck sweater, jeans, snow boots, and a puffy winter vest with a hood. Kat then took her favorite stuffed animal; a pink elephant named Fuchsia and tucked it into her daughter's backpack. She zipped it and helped Rose into it before putting her daughter's hair into a tight braid.
Taking Rose's hand, they left her room. They got downstairs and then walked out the door. Once in the Mayor's car, Kat frowned. This was it. She had no control over this choice. What her father will do.

Sherry was working on the worksheet from her teacher. It was some simple math problems, nothing too crazy. But as she was writing down an answer and wondering why Rose wasn't in class, her teacher's phone rang. She did not pay it much mind until she heard her name called. She looked up to her teacher confused.
"Yes?" She asked her pencil still in hand.
"You need to go to the main office; your mother is on the phone and wants to talk to you. She said it's an emergency." He told her.
Sherry frowned by nodded packing up and doing as she was told. As she walked, she spotted a few kids look a bit ill but just thought it was the cold Rose had gotten a few days ago. Once she was in the office, she was motioned over by her principal.
"Here you go." He told her handing her the phone.
Sherry took the phone and put it to her ear. "Mom?" She asked confused with why her mom was calling her in the middle of class. It was Annette after all that said her education was important.
"Sherry, honey, I have something very important to tell you, and so I want you to listen very carefully." Annette began in a rushed slightly panicked tone. "You need to do exactly as I say, okay?" She asked panting at the end.
Sherry blinked; it scared her that her mom sounded scared and panicked. Her mom was so cool, calm, and collected most of the time that hearing her panicked was a bit jarring. "Okay…" Sherry breathed looking down and trying to wrap her head around what had her mom so worried.
"I need you to leave school and go home right away. Tell your teacher it's got to do with mommy's job and that you have to leave right away." Annette told Sherry making Sherry looked to her principal worriedly. "Can you be home in 30 minutes?"
"I suppose…But why? Did something happen?" She asked thinking of her dad, sure, he did not know what her mother or father really did for Umbrella, but she knew it could be dangerous if they were not careful.
Annette sputtered a bit as if wanting to tell Sherry something or was close to crying. "We-we don't have time for questions, honey." She managed to say.
Sherry sighed and looked down at the floor. Why wasn't her mom telling her anything? It was the same as always. Telling her to do something and not explaining why or anything, telling her enough to get her curious then withholding the real answers. Her mom always did this.
Annette seemed to detect what the sigh was about and spoke again. "I'll explain everything to you at home." She assured, but Sherry had heard that one before and things were never explained. "Now, please just trust me and do as I say."
Sherry heaved another sigh but nodded. Maybe it would be different this time. Her mother sounded worried, panicked, or scared. This had to be serious. "Okay."
"I'll call you when you get home." Annette assured. "Now hurry."
Sherry handed the phone back. "Mom wants me to go home. It has to do with her work. Something happened and she needs me at home."
"Can you get home alright?" He asked as he hung up on Annette.
"Yeah, it's not too far a walk." She told him as she gripped the straps of her backpack.
Country: America, State: Pennsylvania, City: Raccoon City, Place: Ennerdale Street, Area: Raccoon Police Station, Month: September, Day: Wednesday 23rd, Year: 1998, Time: 7:16 AM…
Kat and Rose looked at the police station as her father pulled to a stop. They were not going in. Kat knew that.
"Go on in…I'll go…I'll come back for you." Her father stuttered.
Kat said nothing as she and Rose got out. They had not even moved toward the gate when her father speeds off. 'So…abandonment it is.' Kat thought. "Come on, Rose. I have to gear up. Then we're going to go find Sherry."
Rose looked from the road her grandfather took to her mom. "Where…Where's grandpa going?"
"Running." Kat said as she felt her mind slip and shift. "Grandpa Michel is a coward and just left us here, sweetie." She turned to her daughter and kneeled in front of her taking her hands. "We'll be fine on our own. I know what to do. I'll keep you and Sherry safe."
Rose nodded quickly as she looked back to the road. "Why did Grandpa leave?" She asked as Kat stood and took her hand, keeping her close.
"He's been getting money from bad people and doing bad favors for them. Those people called him and told him that the zombies are coming." Kat told her feeling an old anger rise up. The same annoyed anger she had for Whitmen. "Come on. We have to get to Jack's bar and get my weapons and gear."
Country: America, State: Pennsylvania, City: Raccoon City, Place: Ennerdale Street, Area: Birkin Residence, Month: September, Day: Wednesday 23rd, Year: 1998, Time: 7:53 AM…
Sherry slipped through her door and then locked it. Something was wrong with a few people she had walked past on her way home. One that stuck out to her was an old man that swayed on his feet, his skin too pale to be healthy, and the dirt on him looked a bit too red. She shook a bit. The look he had given her…it was not right. She yelped and jumped when she heard the phone ring from the living room.
She sighed and walked over to it and picked it up. "Mom?" She asked forcing the fear from her voice.
"Oh, good you made it home!" Annette breathed out in relief.
Sherry took a breath. "Mom, what's wrong?" She asked, though she hopped it was not anything too serious.
Annette took a breath. "Listen carefully, honey." She began.
"All right…" Sherry nodded.
"In a little while, maybe about an hour or so, people in the city are going to start to panic." Annette explained seeming to try to calm both herself and trying to keep Sherry calm. "There will be a lot of fires and people will start fighting." She said clearly unsure how to explain this to a 12-year-old. "There's been an accident so people will be confused, but don't worry. You're going to be okay." she assured both herself and a wide-eyed Sherry. "I'm going to tell you a safe place to go, and I need you to go there okay?"
Sherry was shaking more now. An accident? What kind? Was Daddy okay? Was Mommy? Why would people fight about an accident? She shook her head at her questions. "Mom, wait." She said trying to keep her mind focused. "What's going to happen? Where are you? An-and-and what about my friends at school? What about Rose?" She asked the other questions and worries to her mother.
Annette seemed to grit her teeth as she spoke her next words, as if the questions were stupid to ask. "We don't have time." She stated taking a breath to keep calm. "I'll explain everything later, Sweetie." There it was again, making Sherry hold back a sigh. "Look, our house won't be safe anymore. So, here's what I need you to do."
Sherry was only partly listening now. Panting with fear and worry. What about her friends? What about her best friend? She wasn't in school today, was she safe? If Sherry's house wasn't safe, then did that mean Rose's wasn't either?
"There's a white jewelry box on the dresser in mommy's bedroom." Annette began not completely thinking about what she was about to do to her daughter with her next words. "I want you to take the necklace with you. Then leave the house and go to the police station." She said as she took another breath. "You should be able to take Flower Road, but if it's too dangerous I want you to take the back way."
Sherry's eyes widened at her mother's words as she looked to a window. "Dangerous?" She asked shakily, feeling fear starting to overwhelm her, wanting to fall to her knees, curl into a protective ball and cry.
Annette took a breath at hearing the fear in her only child's voice. "There will be a lot of confused people in town and some of them may be angary." She took another breath, unable to tell her daughter that it was not angary people or confused people. "Sherry, this is very important." She stressed. "Stay away from everyone. Even if you see your friends or your teachers on the way. Don't get close to them, all right?"
Sherry let out a breath that was trapped in her throat. "What about Kat…Or Rose?"
"Didn't you hear me? Don't get close to anyone!" Annette almost yelled.
Sherry jumped at the aggression in her mother's voice. She had not heard her mother mad in a long while. Last time was when Kat and her mom argued over a school event.
"Sherry?" She asked feeling the paused was too long.
"Okay…" Sherry managed, knowing that her mom couldn't be lying right then. "I won't get close to anyone…" She said feeling a sudden crushing weight of loneliness hit her chest.
Annette sighed with relief, the knowledge that her daughter was listening to her was a weight off her shoulders. "That's a good girl." She took a breath. "Once you get inside the police station, you'll be safe. That's where I'll meet you." She assured. "Sherry, you can do it. Trust me."
Sherry closed her eyes, pushing some tears out and nodded slowly. "Okay. Please hurry, Mommy." She took a shaky breath trying not to cry. "I don't want to be by myself." She pleaded.
Annette felt her throat constrict. She did not know how long she would be. She really didn't, and that hurt. "Of course, Sweetie." She said knowing she couldn't let Sherry get more scared than she already was. "Now go."
A thought struck Sherry that she had forgotten about in her fear and worry. "Mommy! Where's Daddy?!" But the line was already dead, Annette had hung up before hearing that question.
Country: America, State: Pennsylvania, City: Raccoon City, Place: Jack Street, Area: Jack's Bar, Month: September, Day: Wednesday 23rd, Year: 1998, Time: 7:55 AM…
Kat and Rose slipped into the bar. Legally Rose should not come in being a 7-year-old, but Kat had made a deal with the owner, Jack, to let her and her daughter us his item box in the wine room on the third floor. She was cashing in that favor since she helped him a while back with a party the station was having back when she was in college. The bartender looked to her and nodded.
"Will, would you mind leading Kat and her daughter up to the third floor? She'd got some stuff to take out of the wine room's item box!" He called out to a young dark-haired man.
Will turned and looked to see Kat. He tipped his head but nodded. It wasn't too busy. "Sure!" He then waved the blonde and her daughter to the stairs. As they walked up, he tried to make conversation. "So, what do you need in there?"
Kat put on a small smile that did not quiet reach her eyes. "Just some protection and gear. I can handle it just fine."
He nodded, but there was something about her that put him on edge. Maybe it was the scar on her temple above her eyebrow or her eyes. But he didn't want her to get mad. Once he pointed to the wine door and unlocked it for her, he left her to handle herself. He had customers to attend to, after all and it was a game night.
Kat opened the Item box and pulled out what she needed one at a time. First was a belt for herself and her daughter. She helped Rose with her belt then pulled out the items from their backpack and the item box that would go on their belts. For Kat's it was her knife, climbing axe (Lara sent it to her), ratio that could go to multiple channels, her satellite phone, her Revolver and it's holster (Though it was more on her thigh then her belt), and her Pistol Crossbow (it was lighter, smaller, and could fit on her belt). For Rose it was a radio, a Taser, and a knife.
Once that was done, Kat started to organize what would be in their packs for the moment. For Rose it was four bottles of water, eight Peanut Butter PowerBar's, eight packets of Shak Bites, first aid kit and her stuffy Fuchsia. She would be sharing her food with Sherry. For Kat it was four bottles of water, four Peanut Butter PowerBar's, four Shark Bites packets, both files on her Father and Irons, her maps of the city and Police station (Marked with where item boxes and Typewriters are), her journal, first aid kit, extra ammo for her weapons, lighter, tape, and ropes. She then took out her compound bow (same one from Yamatai but with brighter sights) with its quiver and strapped it to her backpack. She tested the release pin on the bow to make sure she could get it out quickly to put it away just as fast. She then got out her rifle (Same one from Yamatai, but a newer scope that had night vision) and she slung it on her shoulder with her backpack. She checked the box one more time before looking to the Typewriter.
"Hang on, Rose." She told her as she closed the box. "I need to test something…"
She got to the typewriter and started to type a small log.
September 23rd, 1998
So, here I am. I've prepared for this as much as I could. I've gotten Rose as ready as I could. Sherry a little bit here and there too. We just have to hold out until the 29th. Then we can group up with Leon and Claire and get the hell out of this soon to be fallout zone.
Kat stepped back after hitting the slid for the next line. She turned to Rose and nodded. "We're good. Let's go get Sherry and say off the streets."
Rose smiled and nodded.

Sherry shook as she clasped the locket around her neck. She did not know what to do. A few minutes ago, she got a call from her mother again. This time telling her to stay at the house. To lock all to the doors and windows. To call the police if anything tries to get in. The use of the word anything freaked her out more than anything else she mother said. Now she was confused. She jumped at the sound of the phone ringing. What was it her mother wanted to tell her? She picked up the phone and spoke into the speaker.
"Mommy?" She asked.
"No, it's Kat, Sherry." Kat said gently.
Sherry felt her shoulders sage with relief. "Kat, Rose wasn't in school, and then mom called me and told me to go home! Please tell me something!" She blurted without meaning to.
Kat bit her lips. "Sherry, when was this? Are you at home right now?"
"Y-yeah. I'm at home why?" Sherry asked.
"Okay…good. Rose and I are on our way there. We'll come get you and we'll all stick together. Have you seen anything strange? Anyone sick looking?" Kat asked her directly.
Sherry wanted to cry with relief. Hearing that Rose was okay was great. Hearing she was not going to be alone was awesome. Then her mind snapped back to Kat's questions. "Oh…yeah…some kids at school looked a little green. And then on my way home, I saw a homeless old guy…he didn't look good at all." She recanted.
"Shit…Okay. Sherry, what has your mom told you?" Kat asked.
Sherry blinked. "That…people will be angry and confused…because of an accident. She told me to get a necklace then to go to the police station and wait for her there. But then she called and told me to stay here. She also said to stay away from everyone I run into and to not get close."
Kat shook her head, hating this. "Sherry, I need to you listen to me. Do you remember those nights I let you and Rose watch horror movies on your sleepovers? Or the nights we played hide and seek?"
"Yeah?" Sherry asked confused.
"Sherry, your mom was trying not to scare you. But it's not angry or confused people. Its people turning into zombies. The old man you saw was more than likely one of them." Kat explained. "I'll tell you everything else I know when we get there. For now, stay inside and keep quiet. Just like our hide and seek nights."
Sherry swallowed hard. "Y-Yeah…okay…please hurry…" She begged, more scared than she had been before. "I don't want to be alone."
"Don't worry, Sherry." Kat assured. "It'll take a hell of a lot more than the old zombie to slow Rose and me down. We'll get there, Sweetie."
Country: America, State: Pennsylvania, City: Raccoon City, Place: Uptown, Area: Jill's Apartment, Month: September, Day: Wednesday 23rd, Year: 1998, Time: 8:05 AM…
Jill jolted awake from her bed. Gasping as she gripped her sheets, feeling her sweat cooling from the fan. She sat up, shook her head, and rubbed her arms, trying to chase the nightmare away. It was the mansion again. In the nightmare, they were all on the helipad, Brad had lowered the ladder. But the Tyrant showed up, and Brad never threw down the anti-tank rocket launcher. Barry was crushed to death under the foot of the creature, Rebecca had been snapped in two by its claw and arm, and Chris was choked to death. Jill tried to run but found herself in the forest outside the mansion. Then she was grabbed and just as her chest was being crushed, she woke up.
Ever since the mansion incident, she'd been plagued with nightmares and terrible sleep. They always involved zombies, the Tyrant, the dogs, dead or dying teammates, or her turning into a zombie. They seemed to get worse as time progressed. Then there was what Kat had told her. Kat didn't mean too, but she only added new fuel to her nightmares.
She jolted as her phone rang. She sighed before she got up and grabbed it. "Hello?" She asked.
"Jill, it's started. Annette pulled Sherry out of school and dad abandoned Rose and I at the station." Kat's voice informed.
"Shit. Really? So…things are happening just as you said?" Jill asked shivering at the idea of the Nemesis.
"Yes. Rose and I are on our way to go get Sherry. We both have radios, so when you get one, we'll be on channel three." Kat informed.
"Okay. Good luck, Kat." Jill wished as she looked to her nightstand, were her Samurai Edge sat.
"Good luck, Jill. We all need it." Kat said then hung up.
Jill walked over to her gun and put the phone back. She walked over and started checking it over. She had to be ready. No matter how bad it gets.
Country: America, State: Pennsylvania, City: Raccoon City, Place: Ennerdale Street, Area: Dark Alley, Month: September, Day: Wednesday 23rd, Year: 1998, Time: 8:08 AM…
Kat leaned on the brick wall as she dialed Claire's number. Once it connected, she spoke quickly, not knowing how long she'd be able too. "Claire, it's started. Rose and I are off to go get Sherry. When you get here, go to the police station. Oh, and stop at a gas station on your way here. A rookie cop will be there and can help us get out. The more hands we have the better."
"Gotcha. Good luck and stay safe till we get there." Claire told her before hanging up.
Kat then looked around before dialing Lara's number. It connected just like Claire's, so she spoke just as quick. "Lara, it's started. Claire's on her way and will pick up Leon. Rose and I are going to get Sherry."
"Good. Please, the moment you all are safe and out of there, call me." Lara told her. "Good luck."
"Will do, and thanks for the wish. We're gonna need every bit." Kat hung up then put her phone to her belt before she turned to Rose. "We are going to be moving fast, Sweetie. Do you want me to carry you?"
Rose nodded. "I'm too small." She said disappointedly.
Kat nodded and hugged her. "Wrap your arms around my neck and your legs around my waist. I'll need my arms if anything happens. You'll also be my eyes on what's behind me, okay?"
Rose nodded and wrapped her arms around Kat's neck and her legs around her waist. Kat stood and made sure Rose was holding on tight then started running. People not fully infected looked at her and her daughter weirdly but didn't pay them much mind. Those who looked ill, Kat ducked around skillfully to avoid them, turning her back to them so Rose was farther away. She felt an energy fill her, it was a little like on Yamatai, she had a mission, a goal and she was focused but hyper aware of all around her.
Country: America, State: Pennsylvania, City: Raccoon City, Place: Ennerdale Street, Area: Birkin Residence, Month: September, Day: Wednesday 23rd, Year: 1998, Time: 8:42 AM…
Sherry was staring at the phone in uncertainty. Her mom had called two more times, telling her to stay put and that she would find her eventually. Find her eventually just made her more scared. She had tried to tell her mom that Kat and Rose were coming to get her, but her mom kept interrupting and didn't let her say anything. When the doorbell rang, Sherry jolted and rushed to the door. Pausing to peek through the side window and then unlocked the door. Kat, carrying Rose came in and Sherry closed the door.
Once Rose was on the ground, Sherry rushed her and the two hugged. Kat locked the door and checked the windows panting as her daughter hugged her best friend tightly. Then Kat kneeled down to look at both girls. Once the two stopped hugging Kat moved to Sherry.
"Are you okay?" She asked her.
Sherry nodded and threw her arms around Kat, hugging her now. "Thank you for coming." She breathed close to crying.
Kat hugged the small blonde right back. "I'll always come for you, Sweetie. Rose and I both." She assured her. "We'll rest here, until its dark. Then we'll get moving to the next safe spot." She pulled back and looked Sherry in the eye. "Are you good with that?"
Sherry nodded, looking more relived to have her best friend and her favorite adult there with her. It was then she saw the weapons both Rose and Kat had. "What are those for?"
Kat sigh through her nose. "To explain, I'll have to tell you everything. From Yamatai to now…I'm going to speak to you as an adult because I think you're old enough and smart enough to understand, ok?"
Kat felt like a broken record by now, talking about her reincarnation and memories of the future, her survival of Yamatai (leaving out the gory details), and what she knew of the creatures that would or were roaming the streets of Raccoon. She also told her of the people that would also try to hurt them or kill them.
"That's what my weapons are for, Sherry. Protecting my group, Rose, you, Claire, and a Rookie cop named Leon." Kat said to her as gently as she could manage.
Sherry stood there a long moment. This was insane. But she knew Kat. She would never lie. With anything she said she meant it. "What do we do?"
"We rest until night. Then we will make our way to the next safe area on my maps. We repeat this slowly until we are at the police station on the 29th." Kat said. "That's where we'll meet with Leon and Claire. Then we'll get out of this city."
