Chapter 5: Radio Calls
I don't own anything. Resident Evil belongs to Capcom and Tomb Raider belongs to Core Design, Crystal Dynamics, and I think Square Enix. The only thing I own is the changes made to the stories of the Tomb Raider games/comics and Resident Evil games/comics/CG movies, the person that has taken over Kathrine Warren's life, and Rose Warren. This story also will be bloody, violent, and have cursing. It's rated T for Teen.
Country: America, State: Pennsylvania, City: Raccoon City, Place: Subway Office, Area: Control Room, Month: September, Day: Monday 28th, Year: 1998, Time: 9:09 PM…
Jill panted as she jogged down the steps into the control room. Pulling her radio, she got to the controls. "Carlos, I'm in the control room. Now what?"
"Nice!" Came Carlos's voice. "Now you gotta plot out a route."
Jill nodded looking at the big route board on the wall and then the written labeled plot card taped to the control desk. "Ok, gimme a sec." She told him as she put her radio down on the controls. "Alright, where are we headed?" Jill asked.
"The train is stopped at Redstone Street." Carlos explained. "We need to reach Fox Park Station. Can you program that in?"
"Hey, I'm Supercop. Consider it done." She said with a smile, as she worked to program the route in.
Just as she got it, she hit the blue enter button and jumped as a robotic voice spoke.
"Valid route confirmed."
Jill watched as the route she put in lit up green. She beamed and picked up the radio. "Carlos, it's me. I've finished the inputting the subway route."
"Jill, you are amazing!" Carlos called brightly. "Tough as nails, too. Hurry back to the station. We'll make sure the subway is ready to depart."
"Okay." Jill smiled, momentarily forgetting about the future derailment.
She turned around and left through the door she entered and stopped mid-stride in the middle of the hallway. A zombie had stood up, but its head was wrong. It was not a rotting head of snapping teeth. It was a strange thing, it looked like an octopus sucker with claws that covered it and a long tentacle lashed around from the back.
"What the fuck?!" She gasped before pulling her shotgun.
She fired two shots with it then switched to her handgun as the claws opened to revel the sucker. It looked like it could swallow her head if it got too close. She fired two shots before reloading and watching its head explode.
"Okay, headshots work." She muttered as the body dropped to the floor with a pool of blood.
She rushed out the building and crossed the street ducking two zombies and one parasite-infected zombie. She then slipped through the doors into Moon's Doughnuts before pausing a moment. She then walked out the front to the shopping plaza and froze. Standing there was the Nemesis, and he had a hold of the head of one of the zombies. Tentacles shifting and moving around. Then she saw that some were forcing their way into and down the zombie's mouth and throat. After they seemed to have purchase, they coiled around its head forming a fleshy body with claws and tentacle. She gaped realizing that it was the Nemesis responsible for the parasite-mutated zombies she had just killed or ducked passed.
"What the hell is it doing to them?" She wondered aloud as the Nemesis let go of the Zombie and looked to her.
She then took aim at a generator and squeezed off a shot. The generator sent out tendrils of electricity. They arched and hit the Nemesis and the mutated zombie, sending both into jolting fits. Jill pulled her handgun and took aim at the Nemesis's electric pack on its chest. It looked similar to where the heart was on the tyrant at the mention. It was how she took this creep down a while ago. It took five shots before he took a knee. As he did, a black box dropped from him. Jill scooped it up and popped it open. Inside was a fully upgraded Glock 19 handgun. On top of the slide was a dot shot, the magazine was extended to hold 33 rounds, and a moderator was attached to barrel adding a slight dampening to the sound as the handgun fired. She took this and clipped it to her rig as she bolted passed the kneeling Nemesis and dodged around the parasite zombie.
She ran up the steps of the plaza and turned toward Toy Uncle. She ducked four slow zombies before switching her Samurai Edge for her lock picks. She worked the pins and looked back to see if Nemesis had gotten up yet. She had time. The lock dropped form the door's handles and she slipped into the building. She looked around and shook her head. She grabbed up a box and opened it taking a green gem and adding it to the blue and red one in her pocket. She moved to head out but froze as she looked out the window. She saw the Nemesis was marching up the stairs.
She pulled in a breath and ran outside, pulling her handgun out. She ran at the white gate, tucking and rolling to avoid a tentacle slash from Nemesis. She pushed through the gate and into the alley where she shot a zombie in the head before ducking around its falling body. She turned a corner as she heard the gate clatter on a wall, letting her know Nemesis was behind her. She ran at a pair of zombies and dodged into another roll passed them to the left. Just as she cleared the corner, she heard the sound of bones crunching and flesh bursting. She looked back to see the Nemesis had punched down both zombies and crushed their bodies on a wall and the pavement.
She turned and ran for the half-open shutter of the ticket gate. Just as she got to it, she felt a tentacle grab her leg and pull. She yelped as it let go when she hit the ground. She rolled to the right and to her feet and looked for her gun. She saw it was too close to the Nemesis. She gritted her teeth, jumped to her feet, moved for the gap, and ducked under just as the parasite zombie grabbed her shoulders.
"No! No no no!" She panicked as she pushed on its shoulders, the sucker moving to her head.
Just as she moved to stop the sucker, the zombie was knocked away from her by the Nemesis. He inadvertently saved her by punching it from her. She took that opportunity, slipped under the shutter, and quickly shut it. She panted, leaning on it as she heard the Nemesis roar in anger.
"STTTTTTTAAARRRSS!"
She pulled away from the shutter as it shook a bit then stopped. She looked down for a moment then took out her new handgun feeling a bit of loss. Her Samurai Edge had been with her since the mansion and every nightmare. Now that it was gone, she felt like she lost a friend oddly enough.
She sighed and walked over to the clock and pulled out the gems. She put the green gem in its slot first. A compartment opened up and gave her a grenade. She took it and put in a red gem. The compartment open and gave her a tactical stock for a shotgun. She grabbed it and put it with her shotgun, putting it together and checking it over before putting it to her back. She then put the blue gem into place. The compartment open and gave her a hip pouch and thus more space to carry things like ammo, herbs, and first aid spray. She then walked to the typewriter and typed her next entry.
Sep 28th.
Crazy. The Nemesis can make zombies into these weird parasite things. They can swallow a person's head. I don't want to know what they do to you when that happens. They also share the tentacle attack Nemesis has. I wish it were just zombies. Hell, I'd take the giant spiders right about now.
She turned around after hitting the slide and rushed around and down the two flights of stairs. At the bottom, she smiled at seeing Carlos.
"Nice job, Supercop. I'm impressed." Carlos smiled too.
"We back in business?" Jill asked but frowned as she remembered Kat telling her about the train derailing.
They met in the middle of the floor. "Yeah, mostly. But we need 30 to 40 minutes to finish maintenance." He told her.
A shutter opened on the exit near them, making both Jill and Carlos settle into shooting stances, Jill with her new handgun and Carlos with his assault rifle. Only for Carlos to relax and lower his weapon at seeing Nicholai and an African American man with glasses, enter. Jill slowly lowered her handgun but did not put it away.
"Nicholai!" Carlos said as he walked over to the higher ranked member of the U.B.C.S. "How we doin'?" He asked.
"The town's crawling with these freaks." Nicholai informed, not seeing Jill yet. "No chance of fighting our way out of the city." He said as Carlos nodded grimly. Then he looked and saw Jill standing there. "Why is she here?" He asked pointing at her with a small sneer.
"She's helping getting the trains running again." Carlos said wondering why his superior looked so angry to see Jill.
"Bad time to be carrying around dead weight, friend." Nicholai said as he marched over to Jill, getting in her space, but not in her face seeing as that had not deterred her last time. "She's unreliable. Can't pull the trigger when it counts." He stated.
"Hey, take it easy." Carlos voiced, not liking the animosity.
Nicholai scuffed at Jill then turned away and headed for the stairs, looking a little to Carlos. "She'll get you killed." He told him before heading down the stairs with Tyrell.
Carlos and Jill watched them go. Then Carlos looked to Jill. "Sorry about that. Everyone's a little worked up."
Jill made a grunt sound but nodded. Before she could say anything though, a loud crash sounded from up the stairs, like metal crunching and ripping. She and Carlos spun, pointing weapons at the stairs.
"STTTTTTTAAAARRRRRSSSS!"
Carlos gritted his teeth as Jill's eyes widened. "Aw come on. Not again." He growled.
Jill spun and rush to the gates operating buttons. She slammed her hand on the down arrow. She waved to Carlos who nodded, and he ducked under the gate. Jill did too but paused as it continued to lower.
'The train. It derails because of it and it's…' Her eyes moved to where she can hear the boot clops of the Nemesis. "It's me he's after." She gritted her teeth then ducked down and rolled back out under the closing gate. "I'll buy you time." She told Carlos who had spun around and grabbed at the gate.
"Hey, wait! Wait, Jill! No!" Carlos yelled trying to get the gate to stop closing, but it did and there were no buttons for it on his side. "God damn it!"
By then Jill was already running through the exit door Nicholai left open, Nemesis right on her tail as it had jumped from the top of the stairs to get to her level.
"Come on, you creepy-ass stalker!" She yelled as she ducked and turned a corner. "You want S.T.A.R.S.!?" She asked as she ducked a tentacle swing and around another corner and up some stairs. "I'll give you S.T.A.R.S.!"
At the top of the stairs, she threw a grenade back and rushed through a door into a supply room. She ignored the bang of the explosive and ran around the boxes. Getting around she found a vent with a flimsy cover. She rushed to it and gave it a few hard kicks, denting the metal enough for some hand holds. She heard the boots, rushed around, and saw some red barrels labeled flammable.
"Come on! Over here, meatball!" She yelled.
Nemesis charged and she ducked back as his fist hit the wall behind her and the barrels. She took aim and fired a shot at the barrels. They exploded and covered the nemesis with fire and downed him for a moment.
"Now's my chance!" She gasped and spun.
She grabbed the edge of the vent cover and wrenched it back and forth. It came flying off making her fall back. She quickly jumped into an army crawl into the vent and did not look back as Nemesis roared in anger.

Rose was shaking. She and Sherry had made it to the station and slipped into the vents. They had avoided zombies and those weird flesh things with brains that Kat had called Lickers. She just wanted it to end. For this nightmare that had swallowed her best friend, mother, and herself to end. To wake up with her mom hugging her in her bed, telling her it was okay, that it was all a bad dream. But that didn't happen the first day and night. Nor the second or third. Now here she was, alone with Sherry in a vent in a place she knew bothered her mother.
"I think we're okay now…" Sherry breathed as she looked out a vent in the underground area they had slipped to.
"You sure?" Rose looked down at her dust-stained hands.
"I hope so. Just, let-let's avoid the Chief." Sherry recommended as she moved to a grate.
They had seen Irons when they first entered the station and hid in the vents just in time. Then they watched as he killed one of the cops left alive in the station. He shot him in the side first, a shot that scared the two and made Sherry instinctively cover Rose's mouth and pull her closer to her. The cop had struggled to get away but fell to his side and was shot in the head by Irons. They even heard What Irons had said to the dead cop. He was not fun, he was not who he wanted, he wants Kathrine, and he needs a way out of the city with his stuffed prize.
Sherry got the grate off. She was first to get out of the vent and looked around. The area seemed like a mix of a boiler room and a storage area for a lab. Once down on the grated floor Sherry froze. She looked to the vent, Rose was starting to come out and she held a hand at her best friend.
"Stay there…something's wrong." Sherry breathed as she looked around the small hallway.
Then she saw it, something big. It looked like a mutated Frankenstein's monster; one arm bigger than the other with an eye on it. It had not noticed her yet as it continued to walk with heavy strides. Sherry looked behind her then at Rose.
"Go back into the station. Hide somewhere." Sherry hissed with wide eyes as she looked back at the monster that seemed to have spotted her, it was too dark to see its head, but she did not want to know what its face looked like. "Go!" She yelled and ran.
"SHHHEEEERRRRYYYY…"
That freaked both children more than anything else did. Rose pulled herself back into the vent as Sherry ran deeper into the lower levels.

Jill shook her head slightly as she jogged up some stairs. She knew her night could only get worse or go up from here. She was covered in shit (figuratively and literally), she killed some Hunters that looked like boil covered chicken-lizard-frogs with mouths like four-way Venus flytraps, some zombies, and had to deal with another puzzle. On the bright side, she got a grenade launcher out of it and was on her way out. She pulled her radio as she walked.
"Carlos, can you hear me now?" She asked, wrinkling her nose at the smell she had. 'Definitely burning these clothes when I get out of here.' She thought.
"Jill!" Carlos gasped relieved to hear her voice. "Oh, thank god! Everything ok?"
"Yeah, I'm alive." Jill nodded as she walked up another set of steps hearing the static clear up more. "I lost him." She said referring to the Nemesis.
"Great." Carlos congratulated. "The subway's ready to go. We'll leave as soon as you get back."
Jill smiled as she turned a corner and got to a ladder. She hooked her radio to her belt and got on the ladder. She had done it. The Nemesis would not derail the train now. She got to the top and yelped as her head was grabbed by the Nemesis.
She grabbed at his wrist as he lifted her from the ladder. She struggled hitting him as he turned away from the sewer exit. He then tossed her to the side and marched toward her. She scrambled to her feet and ran for it. Ducking around a corner and down a street. Nemesis was right behind her and gaining with his tentacle pulls that pulled him closer to her like Venom.
She spotted a small blockade of cars and an overturned bus. She jumped up on one car just as the Nemesis punched at her, hitting the pavement instead and cracking it. Jill didn't stop to look at him and pulled herself up on top of the bus then jumped off it, turning her landing on the ground into a roll. She jumped to her feet and continued running. The Nemesis growled and grabbed the pipes on the underside of the bus, bending the metal before grunting and pushing while walking with purpose.
At the sound of metal screeching on pavement, Jill looked back once and gaped before facing forward. "Shit! Shit shit shit!"
She turned to a wall and ran close to it. If she could get the Nemesis to ram the wall, then he would lose a weapon that he would have used against her. She looked back as the bus got close then pushed off the wall, sliding across a car's hood (Dukes of Hazard style) and found herself rolling on the pavement as the bus hit the wall and car. She stopped rolling and stood up, looking to the bus that was now ruined and on its wheels. The Nemesis was still coming, looking pissed that his target was making this hard.
She turned around to start running again and gaped. Before her were six people in tactical military gear. Three men and three women. She regained her composer as they stared at the Nemesis.
"RUN!" Jill yelled at them as she rushed at them and waved an arm behind them down the street.
"STTTTTTAAAARRRSSS!" Nemesis roared as it started to run at them.
"The hell is this thing?" The man who appeared to be the leader asked looking to Jill as they ran and fired at the creature.
"Monster, Nemesis. Umbrella sent it after me!" Jill yelled as she spotted both a generator and a set of flammable barrels.
This team of military seemed to see them too, as they passed the generator, the Nemesis landed from another tentacle swing, Jill fired on it, sending sparks at the Nemesis, and the woman with red hair fired on the barrels. An explosion of fire hit the stunned Nemesis and took it to its knees as they turned a corner and came close to a door.
"That'll only slow it down." Jill stated as she looked to the group. "You've gotta keep moving and away from me."
The leader grabbed Jill's arm, stopping her from leaving. "Wait-who are you?" He asked as his men and women kept their weapons pointed where they came from.
"Jill Valentine, former member of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team." Jill recited as if she had it memorized.
"You said that thing is one of Umbrella's creations?" He asked as he let Jill go.
Jill nodded. "Yeah, the other former members and I aren't their favorite people." She looked to him from the door she had plans to go through. "We've been investigating them since the incident back in July. Keeping an eye and gathering evidence of their shadier side."
The leader turned his head away and cupped a hand over his ear. "Command- are you getting this?" After a buzz and a short pause, he lowered his hand and turned back to Jill. "Where are you headed?" He asked.
"Outta town. You and your team should think about doing the same." Jill told them.
"No can do, sugar." Said the platinum blond.
"We've got to rescue any survivors." Said the redhead.
"There are very few. Most are on the train I'm taking to get out of here. Any that are out in the city…They might all be dead or undead." She frowned at them though. "You guys don't look like any rescue team I've ever seen." She looked to the leader. "Look, I can't stay. Nemesis is more than likely back on his feet and looking for me." She pointed to his ear. "But if whoever's got your leash cares about what happened here, I'd start with City Hall." She looked down, thinking about Kat's coward of a father. "You'll find intel on Umbrella there. But if I were you, I'd get out of R.C. as fast as you still can."
She nodded to them before she dashed for the door and crashed through it. She ran through the building and out the other side running into the Nemesis at a construction yard. Now he was armed with a flamethrower.

Kat leaned against a wall shaking. She could feel herself starting to crack again. U.S.S. assassins might not be after her or they might be, zombies and B.O.W.s everywhere, and she didn't know where her daughter or Sherry was. She looked to the door next to her and slipped into the guardroom. She closed the door and pushed a table to it. She leaned on it as she let more tears fall. She honestly didn't think she would cry at all during this. She only cried once on Yamatai. Then again, her little Rose wasn't there with her. She was here and in danger.
She felt her knees buckle a bit. Why did she think she could do this shit? Why didn't she just do as Claire and Chris told her from the beginning? Pack up and move out of the city. She was just a mythologist, a scared survivor, a teen mom, a woman who was reincarnated into a nightmare, the target of some creepy old man with a taxidermy obsession. That's when she started to calm down. Every label was right, but they also had her strengths. She was a teen mom, she had screwed up and got pregnant, but she had the sweetest little girl that she would protect with her life. She was a mythologist, something that rarely helped anywhere, but it gave her the understanding to fight and kill Himiko and would give her knowledge to fight later threats and better protect her daughter and Sherry. She was reincarnated into a nightmare, she did not ask for it, but it gave her the awareness on the timeline, what she could and couldn't fight alone. She was a scared survivor, she was one of only five that got off that island, but it gave her instincts, strength, and the alertness to survive this hellmouth. She was the target of some creepy old man's obsession, his want for a trophy, but that gave her the right kind of anger, paranoia, and a target of her own. She whipped at her eyes and nose before standing and shaking her head as she panted.
Her eyes landed on a locker near her. It was open and sitting in it was an RPD uniform and gear. She felt her resolve harden even more. If a rookie cop and a college student could get through tomorrow night with a little girl and a manipulative spy, she could get through that same thing with all the factors plus Irons and her daughter.
She walked over and picked up the uniform. She would need some of the gear. She grabbed the bullet resistant vest, elbow pads, kneepads, and the riot gloves. She then added them to her person, adding more protection from the undead, humans, and monsters. She took a breath as she looked to the door again. She was going to find her daughter and Sherry. She grabbed up her radio.
"Jill, I'm heading into the station."
"Kat! Nemesis is after me again! It can use weapons?!" Jill's panicked voice called out.
Kat's eyes widened. "Shit! Yeah. What's it using?"
"Flamethrower!" Jill yelled.
"Hells." Kat pushed the talk button. "Where are you?"
"Demolition site!" She heard as something closed in the background.
"Go to the top. I'm sorry Jill, but this time you're going to have to face him. But that tank on his back is vulnerable and could take him down for a while." Kat informed her as she looked to the table.
"Going! Talk to you later!" Jill yelled and then it was quiet.
Kat bit her lip. "Carlos? Did you hear that?" she asked.
"I'm guessing you're the friend that doesn't want to take the train." Carlos said. "Yeah, I heard and I'm on my way over there to help her. Don't worry."
"Thank you." Kat said before switching to channel three. "Rose? Sweetie, can you hear me?"
After a moment, she heard light rustling. "M-mom-mommy?"
"Rose. Sweetie, are you and Sherry okay?" Kat asked gripping the radio with both hands.
"Sherry and I got separated." Rose informed with a shaky voice. "Som-something started chasing her and saying her name."
"Fuck." Kat cursed then pushed the talk button. "Okay. It's going to be okay. We'll find her, sweetie. Where are you?"
"I'm not sure…I'm in a vent." Rose told her.
"Okay. That's okay. I'll find you." Kat assured.
"Be careful, mommy." Rose whimpered a bit. "The-the chief is looking for you."
Kat gritted her teeth. "I know. I'll be careful."
Country: America, State: Pennsylvania, City: Raccoon City, Place: Downtown, Area: within view of the Demolition site, Month: September, Day: Monday 28th, Year: 1998, Time: 9:49 PM…
Carlos could see the steadily growing fires on top the old building that was set for demolition. He turned a corner, knowing he had to get there. Jill could need his help. Be it with taking the Nemesis out, medical aid, or just help her walk. Just as he rounded a third corner, he ran into a small horde. He so did not need this. He started taking them down and was joined by some military types just as he was low on ammo. It only took a minute after that little team up to clear the horde away. He looked to the team and nodded.
"The name's Carlos, and thanks for saving my ass." He stated as he reloaded his rifle with a fresh magazine.
"No problem, you alone?" Asked the platinum blonde women before he could leave.
"No. But a lot of my team is dead. Those of us alive got a group of civilians at the substation. We're planning on sending them out of the city." Carlos told them.
"Have any of them or your people come from City Hall?" Asked a Native American woman. "That's where we're all headed."
Carlos thought about it then nodded. "I heard that some soldiers were rolling through, setting some explosives all over the place."
"We'll take care of them." Said the leader. "You get yourself to safety."
"Not just yet. I've got someone to find and help." Carlos said. "Good luck with whatever it is you're looking for." He then ran off and toward the Demolition sight.

The roof was on fire, and anything in the building that was flammable or explosive with heat was going off. The Nemesis was down, flat on his front and burning. Jill ran for the edge of the roof and looked over, seeing a janitor's lift lower down from a slope of glass. She looked back but a few more fiery explosions made her leap over the railing and started sliding down as the roof was obliterated in fire. She rolled to the left to avoid a window breaking from another fire explosion. She rolled to the right to avoid another. She then hit the lip of a ledge and rolled sideways on it and into the janitor lift. She landed on the metal floor with a metallic thud and gasped. The lift jolted and dropped down on the cables a few levels.
The lift swayed as Jill coughed and pushed herself up on her hands and knees. She moved to stand only for the cables behind her to snap. She yelped as the lift tipped and sent her falling. She flipped over the snapped end but grabbed the metal edge before she fell away completely. She hissed as it felt like her shoulder was pulled out of its socket a bit.
The lift swayed again. She looked down as she swung back and forth. She saw she was maybe four or six feet from the ground. She looked back up and struggled to pull herself up and on to the lift, only for one of the other cables to snap, jolting the lift and lowering it three feet. This made Jill yell out as she lost her grip and fell the remaining feet to the ground.
She hit the ground on her back, which knocked the air out of her. She struggled to breath for a few moments, trying to roll to her side, before falling back on her back and panting as the glass around her crunched. Her eyes widened as she saw the last cable starting to snap and quickly rolled to the right. The lift fell and hit where Jill had been. She slowly sat up, holding her ribs that had to be cracked and bruised by now. If she had not moved in time, her chest and more than likely her head would have been crushed.
She slowly stood and looked up at where she had come from. It was a long way up. So high up she questioned how the hell she was alive to think about it. She turned to the fenced gate and walked toward it slowly, waiting for the pain to stop. She found herself on a street she recognized and grimaced. She was a bit far from the substation.
She pulled her radio and called. "Carlos, its Jill. Do you read me?"
"Loud and clear." Carlos sighed with relief at hearing she was okay and made it out of that fire from the building. "You alright?"
"Yeah…" Jill nodded as she passed two police cars. "Bastard's dead." She reported with hope and confidence.
"Good. Fuck 'im." Carlos stated firmly. "But what were you thinking, turning yourself into bait?" He asked as Jill sighed shaking her head. "You could've been killed."
"Don't start." Jill told him as she looked at the sinkhole. "I did what I had too."
Carlos sighed. "I know." He admitted, Nemesis was after Jill and only Jill. "And uh…thanks."
Jill walked over to a fire truck, seeing a ladder bridged the gap.
"The subway's ready to go." He informed. "Hurry back."
Jill nodded and put the radio to her belt and walked up to the fire truck and climbed up the first part of the ladder, and then onto the ladder that was a bridge. She jogged over the ladder and then jumped down onto the street behind the RPD. She looked to the building and bit her lip. She pulled her radio again as she stood.
"Kat, its Jill. Do you read me?"
"Yeah. Sorry. Trying to keep quiet." Kat whispered.
"Why?" Jill asked.
"Lickers…they detect and attack relying on sound." Kat said as she slipped through a door and spoke at normal volume in a safe room. "Nemesis isn't dead…I remember a clock tower and a fight between you two."
Jill gritted her teeth. "Let's hope you're wrong this time."
"Hey, I'd love to be wrong." Kat informed. "Being wrong means that good things could happen."
"You're sure you won't take the train?" Jill asked.
"Yeah. Even if I did want to take it, by the time I find Sherry and Rose, the train will have left." Kat explained. "Good luck. Gotta keep moving."
Jill nodded with a sigh as she hooked the radio back to her belt and headed for a gate next to Kendo's Gun Shop.
