Summary: Naruto, a simple fox, in need of a way to make a living since he has nowhere to go ends up wandering to the Park just as they are in need of another worker. Naruto quickly accepts, not knowing the adventures and girls he finds along the way

Note: some of these episodes are not in chronically order as you can tell and from what I just noticed, I jumped from a season 2 episode back to a season 1 episode, after this chapter it should relatively be back on track unless I don't like the episode.

Free Cake

Naruto let out a long yawn as he checked the news on his phone and saw that the weather would be pretty normal, making Naruto sigh in relief as foxes weren't the best in cold temperatures. Exiting out of the news app he clicked on his message app and saw a couple of unopened messages. Scrolling through he saw muscle man and Hi-Five ghost were sending him funny memes in a chat they named 'For cool bros only!' making him chuckle, he saw one from Benson thanking him for staying overtime even though he didn't have to.

Scrolling a little further down he also received a few texts from Margaret about how she had a great time with him at the fist pump concert and for sticking up for her, which she openly admitted to all her previous boyfriends never did.

Naruto sighed at Margarets poor choice in men before responding back to her that it was the right thing to do and that he wouldn't let anything happen to her. Exiting out he saw he also had one from Tracey and instead of a text message it was a picture, curious he opened it and immediately his eyes widened and his entire body turned a deeper shade then his fur.

The picture was of Tracey in a black bra and lingerie blowing him a kiss while she was posing in the mirror, underneath it said 'Until next time foxy xoxo'.

Discreetly saving it even though there was no one around, Naruto looked over at his alarm clock and saw it was only 6:00 and didn't need to be in work until 9:00 so decided to go on a little Youtube meme marathon.

-Later-

After watching a couple videos and taking a hot steamy shower and eating ramen and a side of rice he was ready for the day. Dressing in a simple white hoodie with the word nine on it and some black sweats that gave his tails plenty of space, finishing off the look he decided to keep his green necklace on while going barefoot again.

Getting into his car he started some Tupac as he headed to work which he felt would be an interesting day, it usually did when it pertained to the park crew.

Once Naruto parked he walked into the house after saying his good mornings to Pops who gave him his usual cheerful jolly good show.

Immediately he heard his two friends in the kitchen excitedly talking about plates and cakes making him chuckle before walking in.

"Yo Mordecai and Rigby, how's it going bros?" Naruto said announcing his presence to the pair

"Naruto, there you are! Don't you agree that chocolate cake would look amazing on this plate?" Rigby asked, jumping up on the counter and shoving the chipped plate in the foxes face.

"Uh Rigby, where did you find this?" Naruto asked cautiously as he inched it from his face

"Rigby got it from the dumpster" Mordecai laughed as he sipped his coffee

"Rigby, that's gross either throw it back where you found it or at least thoroughly wash it" Naruto deadpanned as he started making his own cup of coffee.

"We're getting off topic! This plate with Chocolate cake prompto, but how can we afford something as good as chocolate cake?" Rigby questioned in a dejected tone.

"Don't worry dude, I think I know where we can get one" Mordecai said confidently

Naruto just looked at them in confusion on why they were making it seem like it was so hard to get some local chocolate cake mix.

"Naruto, can you give us a ride to the grocery store please?" Mordecai and Rigby begged with big wide eyes.

"Y'all got gas money" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow while he took a sip out his mug.

"Uhhhh"

"I'm just messing with you guys, Benson said it hasn't been too busy today so let's go" Naruto gulping down the piping hot coffee in one gulp as spicy or hot stuff didn't really affect kitsunes like that.

"Thanks Naruto you're the best!" Rigby and Mordecai said as they scurried off towards his car parked out front. "Yeah, Yeah don't wear it" Naruto chuckled as he grabbed his keys to take Mordecai and Rigby on another one of their adventures.

After arriving at the grocery store they started heading towards the desert section before stopping at the small cake section of the aisle.

"Check it dudes! Cake mix" Mordecai said, grabbing a box of chocolate cake mix and showing it to his friends. "Add some water, slap it into the oven, pull that greasy pig out and bam you got yourself a magnificent cake baby."

"Uh pretty sure that's not how you make a cake Mordecai, that'd be a cake I would not eat even if I was starving" Naruto laughed as he grabbed the box and flipped it over and showed his avian friend the ingredients necessary.

"Ah man, that's a lot of ingredients, how much is the box at least?" Rigby complained before Mordecai read the price tag.

"A buck fifty" Cue a collective groan from both raccoon and avian friends.

"I told you cake mix was expensive guys" Rigby groaned, making Naruto stop and look at both of them with a raised eyebrow.

"Are y'all so broke you can't afford $1.50?" Naruto asked incredulously as he couldn't even comprehend how his friends couldn't even afford a cheap cake mix.

"Hehe about that...Benson caught us slacking off last week so he docked our pay again" Mordecai said with an embarrassed chuckle, making Naruto sign and shake his head with a small smile.

"Guys I can pay for it and all the ingredients, it's no hassle really" Naruto offered as he didn't like his friends being so strapped for money.

"We appreciate your kindness Naruto but we don't want to keep relying on you all the time, isn't that right Rigby?" Mordecai said looking over to his raccoon friend who looked like they were about to disagree until Mordecai gave him a certain look that made him change his tune and agree.

"Alright if you guys say so, so where are we gonna get this cake from?" Naruto shrugged while having a little bit more respect for them for not relying on him and mooching off him.

"I heard there's a wedding happening down the road from here, let's go check it out; we might get lucky and get inside." Mordecai suggested making Naruto sound off in thought.

"It's worth a try but I wouldn't count on it, unless we know either the bride or groom or invited by one of their family members we're not getting in." Confessed the nine tailed fox as they all stuffed themselves inside his car once more.

-Later-

Unfortunately the trio of friends had a string of mislucky attempts to find the perfect chocolate cake to dine on, going from a wedding where they were promptly turned away when the attendant figured they weren't on the list. Oddly enough, going to a bootleg 'free store' didn't have any cake mix or none that were even close to being considered cake mix.

He could've simply gone to a bakery and got a delicious chocolate cake instead but Mordecai and Rigby decided they wanted to be cheap hence finding every way to get a chocolate cake except paying.

Meeting back up at the kitchen Naruto took a seat with his feet kicked up as he watched his friends come up with more ideas for free cake.

"Hey! There's a chocolate cake at the snack bar" Rigby said happily with a light bulb appearing on top of his head.

"Won't work, it's only free if it's one of our birthdays; and no it's none of our birthdays." Naruto said not even looking at them as he scrolled through his social media.

"What if we tell Benson it's one of our birthdays? It's not like he would know right?" Rigby said nonchalantly

"Dude you're so right! Well just tell him it's one of our birthdays" Mordecai smirked as he liked Rigby's idea more and more.

"Like I said dudes, that's not a good idea, pretty sure Benson knows all of our birthdays by hand, he's told me he memorizes almost everything about his employees." Naruto said trying to convince his friends not to do it to hopefully avoid trouble.

Yet again he was ignored as they shouted out 'free cake' over and over making him sigh at their stupidity.

They all left to find Benson who was residing in the garden section of the park trimming bushes and plants.

They proceeded to bug Benson about it being their birthdays even though they wouldn't have the same birthdays.

"I have nothing to do with these idiots Benson, just putting that out there" Naruto chuckled sheepishly as Mordecai and Rigby looked betrayed at him not having their backs.

"I know Naruto and it's neither of your birthdays, next time don't say it's both your birthdays on the same day." Benson said, shaking his head.

Before anymore words were spoken strangely Pops popped out of the bushes behind Benson with his signature cheerful grin on his face. "But it is Skip's birthday!"

"Oh yeah I remember asking him about his birthday when I first joined, he told me the date but told me he didn't really celebrate nor should we make it a big deal" Naruto admitted to the group.

"As Naruto said, he's very private and reclusive about it" Benson told them as he mainly directed it to Mordecai and Rigby who were celebrating making them deflate. "Come to think of it, we've never thrown Skip's a party." Benson admitted, tapping his chin in thought.

"Well then we best change that eh Benson? I got plenty of money saved up from working and money from my family; this would be a good time to splurge a little bit on a friend" Naruto smiled thinking he could help a friend, unfortunately Pops put those thoughts to a grinding halt.

"If my memory serves correctly, Skips secludes himself in the woods every year on the day of his birth." Pops said unsurely himself.

'What the hell? That's really weird, seems like this is gonna turn into another big adventure' Naruto internally thought, thinking it was really weird for Skips to skip out on his birthday by staying in the woods, he most likely had a good explanation.

"So wait, you're telling us you never threw Skips a birthday?" Mordecai asked with surprise thinking that was totally unfair, at the negative received by Benson.

"That's not cool at all, we need to throw Skips a party ASAP" Naruto declared slamming a fist on a furred paw.

"With cake too" Rigby quickly added, receiving a slap at the back of the head from Naruto for only thinking of cake at a time like this.

There started to be a back and forth on why Skips deserved a birthday party and how important he was to every single person at the park, making naruto nod in agreement. Coming up with an idea, Naruto pulled out his smartphone and started texting Margaret and Tracey to pick up some birthday supplies, certain gifts that he knew Skips would like.

Coming back over he came back towards the tell end of the conversation with Benson agreeing Skips deserves a birthday party and that if Mordecai and Rigby with him coming along for the ride to convince Skips to have the party then everything would be settled.

In hindsight he knew for all their bravado and assurance that Mordecai and Rigby wouldn't have a concrete plan laid out to convince Skips.

"Wait so all that confidence you had while talking to Benson and you don't even have a solid plan?" Naruto laughed as Mordecai and Rigby were sitting down brainstorming, these two never failed to amuse him.

"Uh no? It was in the heat of the moment" Rigby said, not sounding ashamed at all. "Oh I know! We get a van and kidnap Skips, put him in the van and drive to the birthday party." Rigby suggested with a confident smirk, forgetting one key detail.

"Uh yeah no Rigby, you're forgetting that Skips is physically stronger than all of us and even I can only hold him back for a few seconds myself." Naruto deadpanned as he wasn't afraid to admit he could only last a few seconds against Skips before getting his ass handed to him.

"Plus dude, that's kidnapping and we could get in a lot of trouble." Mordecai sighed at the silly answer.

"I mean yeah but we can't just tell him about us throwing him a party, you heard Benson he's not into this stuff" the raccoon grumbled.

Naruto tuned out their conversation as he felt the slight vibration in his pants pocket, pulling it out he saw he received messages from Margaret and Tracey about how they got gifts, food, decorations and even a nice local band that liked playing classical music which was apparently Skips favorite.

He also received one from Muscle man and Hi-five ghost saying they would be there to give Skips in their own words 'a party Skips wouldn't forget'.

After thanking them both and telling them that he owned them both, they both replied saying they would hold him to that with a winky face emoji to end the conversation for now.

"-Urprise party!" Naruto heard Mordecai suggest out loud as Naruto started to walk back towards them as they started dancing and chanting about 'free cake' making Naruto smirk and shake his head lightly.

"Sorry I was texting some people, what's the plan guys?" Naruto asked curiously, making them both stop their antics.

"We decided it's going to be a surprise party, it's simple and Skips won't find out until it's too late." Mordecai said, making Naruto think over the plan Mordecai and Rigby came up with.

"And how are you gonna convince him to go to this party in the first place?" Naruto questioned. "Oh uh we were just gonna tell him to hang out with us at 8:00 tonight." Rigby explained making Naruto look at them before facepalming.

"Ok that excuse sounds way to obvious, no one goes out that late unless there going to the club or bar, celebrate something or just to grab a quick bite to eat; since neither y'all nor Skips go out clubbing or drink that one is out, neither would y'all going out to eat since we have a full stocked pantry." Naruto explained making them nod in understanding or at least he hoped was understanding.

Before the conversation could continue his phone started ringing, making him pull it out and smile happily at seeing Margaret's profile picture.

"Hello?"

"Hey Naruto! Just wanted to call and make sure everything was going smoothly on your end." Margaret said with a shy undertone in her voice, he could practically see the blush on her face right now.

"Uh it's coming along is all I can say" Naruto chuckled while avoiding telling Margaret that they hadn't convinced Skips yet.

"Uh okay…so hey since it's still pretty early do you wanna go out and grab some lunch? I mean you don't have to" Margaret offered while backtracking to make it seem like a nonchalant offer.

"Sure that sounds like a great idea!" Naruto agreed without even a second thought. "Really?! I mean great, how about you pick me up in an hour?" Margaret suggested with a big smile on her, not that Naruto could see it.

"Alright see you then" Naruto spoke through the phone one more time before hanging up.

"Who was that Naruto?" Mordecai asked curiously as both friends looked at the fox.

"Uh it was Tracy, Margaret's friend; said she needed help with picking out some decorations for Skips party." Naruto lied, not wanting to tell Mordecai that he was going out for lunch with Margaret or else it could ruin his entire mood.

"Oh okay that'll be great for Skips birthday, you go take care of that and we'll try to convince Skips without letting him know about our secret surprise party!" Rigby said, making Naruto and Mordecai nod in agreement.

"I'm about to head out now, if anything happens, do not hesitate to call me and I'll rush over here; knowing y'all I'll definitely be expecting that call." Naruto chuckled as he walked out, not before hearing two loud indignant 'Heys!'.

After heading back to his apartment, he proceeded to shower and get into a cleaner outfit with a nice touch of cologne he got from overseas Europe.

He wore a black buttoned up long sleeve shirt that contrasted nicely with his red fur and some grey skinny jeans that felt just right around his waist and gave his tails plenty of legroom, so he decided to go without no shoes again.

Looking back he decided to morph his tails into one big bushy tail to give himself less of a hassle, looking over at himself one more time he nodded with a smile before heading out.

After getting into his car he drove for about ten minutes before pulling up to Margaret's apartment complex, looking over his eyes widened at the beautiful site before him.

Margaret was coming out of her door wearing a skin tight crop top that looked a size smaller than what she usually wore, she had on a mini skirt that showed her luscious thick legs for the world to see. To finish off her look she had some simple sandals on with a pearl necklace to compliment her look.

All in all simple but sexy as hell

'Beautiful' Naruto thought as his eyes traveled downwards to her curvy and thick body, looking back up he saw that Margaret was blushing, making him widen his eyes at what he thought he did.

"You think I'm beautiful?" Margarets voice came out akin to a squeak as her body turned a deep crimson the same shade as Naruto's fur.

"Absolutely" the mouth spoke before the brain could catch up, making him slap his hand over his mouth.

She looked at him for a few seconds as he processed on how badly he screwed up when his thoughts were suddenly broken when he felt a beak peck him on the cheek.

"Thanks Naruto, I've been down lately and needed that pick me up" Smiled Margaret while she sported a blush.

"It's uh it's not a problem, I'm glad to be the one to brighten up your day" Naruto chuckled while scratching the back of his head sheepishly. Walking back over to his car with her behind him he opened the door for her, making her smile appreciatively.

"Why thank you kindly my good sir" giggle that came out her mouth was like being on cloud nine and Naruto realized he wanted to hear more of it.

'Oh god, am I in love?' Naruto silently panicked, it was that he wasn't opposed to finding love, on the contrary it was a kitsune's life goal to find the love or loves in certain cases of their lives, and because kitsune aged much slower anyone they mated with also aged slowly also.

No what terrified him was that he didn't think he could quickly come to love a woman that he's only known for a few months. Her red glistening fur, her beautiful green eyes that looked like gems, the way her feet crossed when she acted shy.

Suddenly he felt himself being shaken as he looked over at Margaret smiling at him in amusement.

"You were mumbling silly, what were you thinking about?" Margaret asked him curiously

"Uh it was nothing, just had Skip's birthday on my mind" Naruto chuckled nervously and from Margaret's narrowed eyes she didn't believe his little lie. "So where do you want to go anyway?"

"Oh! There's this new Italian spot that opened up, down the block from here we can go there" Margaret said, opting to change the subject for now as to avoid any more awkwardness.

"Yeah sure that actually sounds great, I never really get the chance to try some good Italian foods." Naruto confessed, making Margaret gasp.

"You what?! That's it mister when we get there I'm going to make sure you know the glory of Italian pasta by the end of this lunch capeesh?" The Red Robin stated in a no nonsense tone.

Chuckling Naruto gave her an affirmative as they finally pulled up to the restaurant, it seemed it was quite popular too because there were dozens of cars already parked and people walking in.

Getting out Naruto went to the other side of the car and opened it for her. "Shall we?" Naruto grinned, making the whiskers on his fur stand out.

"We shall" Margaret giggled as she grabbed ahold of Naruto's hand making them both blush but neither showing signs of being uncomfortable.

-Later-

"So after receiving detention from my teacher I decided to get revenge and prank the whole entire classroom by dyeing their hair pink!" Naruto laughed as he told old stories to Margaret about his old village, from her constant laughing and the tears coming out her eyes he thought he was doing a fairly good job.

"Oh my god I can't believe you actually did something like that Naruto, remind me not to get on your bad side." Giggled Margaret as she looked at Naruto who was laughing with her.

She couldn't help notice how amazing he was; he was funny, he listened to her problems and was hung off every word she had to say, even though he constantly stared at her curvy body it wasn't to an uncomfortable or weird level.

He was sweet, kind and knew what to say to brighten her day or even unintentionally make her hot and bothered.

Noticing the silence she looked over at Naruto, noticing his slitted red eyes eyeing her up, making her blush.

"What? Is there something on my face" Margaret said shyly as Naruto's eyes held such intensity which had her feeling some sort of way.

"No just noticing how amazing you are" Naruto chuckled. "Hey so we have some more time together, how about we do something fun?"

"What did you have in mind?"

"How about we go to the beach? It's only a fifteen minute drive" suggested Naruto as it was a nice sunny day with not a cloud in sight, plus Skip's birthday wasn't for another couple hours.

Margaret stared at him in an unreadable expression as he waited for her response with bated breath.

"Oh my god I would love too! I haven't been to the beach in like forever." Margaret squealed as she thought it was a perfect idea to spend more time with her crush.

After paying the bill and leaving a tip for the nice waitress they headed out and started their way towards the beach.

Once they got there, the beach was relatively empty, only having a couple dozen people either sunbathing, building sand castles or swimming, hell there were even a few playing volleyball.

"Let's go and have some fun!" Naruto laughed as he grabbed ahold of Margaret's arm with a firm but soft grip.

Later on after enjoying some volleyball, swimming and even burying each other under sand which got a good laugh out of both of them.

Currently they were both playing tag, even though it was childish it was still extremely fun to play with each other. Margaret was it and was chasing Naruto as they laughed while running away from each other. Suddenly while going over a small sand hill Naruto was tagged by Margaret but because of the speed they were going they ended up tripping and rolling down the hill.

Landing at the bottom Naruto looked up and saw Margaret on top of him as she soon noticed their position too. They both started blushing heavily but didn't back off each other as they stared each other in the eyes.

Green met red

Time seemed to cease around them as they slowly started to lean into each other, lips so close they could feel their breaths.

Brrrrrrring

Unfortunately the situation was ruined when Naruto's phone started ringing making them both groan in disappointment.

"Whoever is calling better have a damn good reason" Naruto cursed as he growled which was deep and primal which lit a fire inside Margaret's core.

"Yeah what is it? It better be a damn good reason" Naruto answered as he picked up his phone

"Naruto, you need to get over here right now! Skips was doing some weird dance in front of a freaking blue fire and then Rigby went and interrupted his dance, then the fire went out and now some pickup car is coming out of the sky!" Mordecai said over the phone, as he could hear the panic in his voice.

Sighing, Naruto looked over at Margaret who looked worried as she started to put her top back on.

"Ok listen, when this 'stranger' gets there stall them as long as you can, I can be there ten minutes tops so keep them busy and don't do anything more stupid!" Naruto instructed as he hung up before Mordecai could respond back.

"Naruto what's wrong? Is everything okay?" Margaret questioned as she put her hand on his shoulder, making him look at her with a reassuring smile on his face.

"Everything is alright, there was a slight problem with Skips and the party, but I'll take care of it. In the mindtime you go collect Tracey and Eileen and meet up at the park with the others for Skips surprise birthday party okay?" Naruto smiled, causing her to stare at him as she looked like she wanted to say something else before deciding against it.

"J-Just be safe okay? Don't do anything stupid like Rigby and Mordecai" Margaret replied before hugging him, which he returned with his own. He was disappointed when they separated and watched her leave.

"No promises" Naruto whispered soberly before rushing to his car.

After doing 120 in a 50 zone, which he miraculously didn't get pulled over or encounter any heavy traffic or even any inconsistent traffic lights he was finally able to pull up to the park and immediately knew where to go with bright lights flashing in the forest.

He ran on all fours, as he got significantly faster and he got passed the woodworks as he saw Skips in the mentioned car with some skinny otherworldly man that had stars for eyes.

Looking over he saw Mordecai and Rigby with the chocolate cake running after the car. Wasting no time he caught up to them as they jumped into the trunk and they noticed him.

"Naruto grab my hand!" Mordecai shouted as the car started getting faster and lifting off into the air.

Jumping up he was able to reach Mordecai's hand thanks to his long wingspan and got pulled into the trunk with them.

"Sheesh I haven't ran that hard in a long time" Naruto chuckled as he laid down to catch his breath with his friends.

Suddenly before any more words were exchanged they felt like their bodies were being warped and twisted as they saw a multitude of colors, shapes and felt like their vision suddenly consisted of 360 vision.

As soon as it came it was gone again as they came out of the wormhole, as they noticed they were surrounded by stars and they saw they were heading towards some pristine temple.

After landing on the temple grounds they all looked on in shock and Naruto even heard Mordecai voice his disbelief.

In front of them were giant floating babies with gold helmets on their heads.

"Ok what the fuck is this?" Naruto deadpanned, he usually never swore but today was full of what the fucks, frustrations and shenanigans.

"Dudes, what's with the babies?" Rigby cringed in a slight tone of disgust and shock. "We gotta get Skips back to the party"

"I agree and your guess is as good as mine, Rigby" Naruto replied back, completely unsure of himself.

"Dudes shut up, they're saying something" Mordecai hushed them both as Skips and the weird man disappeared and reappeared in front of the steps to the babies.

"Guardians of eternal youth, I have brought you the condemned." The starry eyed fellow said ominously.

The leading baby floated forward as it began to speak. "Skips you have failed to complete the spirit dance, and thus the pact you made with us for eternal youth has been broken, now you shall shrivel into dust and disappear forever!" The baby glared at Skips as it raised; funny enough a baby rattler.

All the baby deities started shaking their rattlers and pointed them at Skips and red beans of energy shot out of them hitting Skips square in the chest, making all three park workers widen their eyes.

The sight before them would be forever engraved in their minds, they currently saw their muscle bound, immovable friend turning old rapidly, he lost all his muscles, skin started turning wrinkly and flabby, losing hair in certain spots. He looked like he aged over a hundred years in the span of a second.

"Skips!" All three shouted out their friends' names in distress. Naruto on the other hand was really, really getting pissed off; the hairs on his fur were raised up, his razor sharp claws came out, his whiskers started to darken along with his red eyes gaining an angry red color. In other words he looked feral and ready to pounce any minute.

The worst part was that they all saw Skips starting to turn to dust, starting with his right hand.

Turning towards the godly babies, Naruto gave them an angry glare. "Hey it wasn't Skips fault! Stop this madness, at least give him another chance" Naruto growled while the babies just looked upon him with an emotionless almost bored look.

"What's done is done"

"No! This is our fault that Skips got into this mess, we interrupted his dance before he could finish it, don't blame him!" Mordecai cried out as he felt this was extremely unfair to their Yeti friend.

"At least finish the dance" Rigby butt in also to share his two cents.

"The decisions of the guardians cannot be overturned!" The baby reiterated making Naruto scoff.

"That's bullshit and you know it, you could've easily overturned it and given Skips another chance but you asshats don't want to, cause you're lazy" Naruto sarcastically said, making them narrow their eyes at his disrespect.

"Watch your tone boy" the lead baby demanded before they resumed their own ritual dance with the rattlers.

His enhanced hearing could still hear Skips still alive and struggling to cling to life, that gave him a reason to be even angrier. He could hear Rigby and Mordecai checking up on Skips and apologizing for getting him in this situation.

Naruto was ready to pounce and start going on the attack when Rigby mentioned the chocolate cake in his hands making the god babies stop their ritual dance and zero their eyes on the raccoon immediately.

"Did you say cake?!" They all said at once, with drool coming out of their mouths.

'Wow you'd think just because they look babies they wouldn't act like it' Naruto thought with a sweat drop

"What? No, there's no cake!" Rigby blurted out, hiding the cake goodness behind his back.

"Rigby!" Naruto growled, baring his large fangs making Rigby turn pale white at the anger in Naruto's voice.

"I smell delicious cake brothers!" The leader sniffed as he started salivating even more, all his brothers all agreed they smelt cake and started chanting the word.

"You guys like cake?" Mordecai asked, he was genuinely surprised because godly beings were always stated to be above that sort of stuff.

Them enthusiastically chanting cake suddenly gave Naruto an idea that could save Skip's life and get them the hell outta dodge.

"Rigby give them the cake, right now" Naruto demanded as Rigby looked at him in defiance, holding it away from him.

"No way dude! This is ours" Rigby cried out, growling in frustration Naruto glared at Rigby

"You're telling me you're gonna let our friend Skip's die because of a freaking desert?!" Naruto cried out, not believing his friend's stubbornness or some cake.

"I-I mean when you put it that way" Rigby hesitated before sighing "Ugh fine here just take it" he groaned as he handed it over, Naruto motioned towards it and Mordecai grabbed it from him.

In quick succession Mordecai presented the cake to them, the god babies went crazy over the chocolate delight, they demanded the cake but Mordecai was able to bargain the cake for Skips, granted they asked which flavor the cake was.

"One more deal, Skips won't have to do any more ritual dances on his birthday and in exchange I'll bring you delicious desserts on those said days." Naruto said, holding up a hand before the babies could start digging into the cake.

They all turned to each other and secretly started discussing before turning back towards Naruto.

"We have discussed and we deem that a suitable substitution." The leader decreed as they pointed their rattles at Skips, turning him back into his original form.

Once the deed was done they zoomed towards the cake and…started spreading it across their faces making them all grimace at the disturbing sight.

"Ah what?! They're not even eating it! They're just smushing it on their faces, totally lame" Rigby complained, making the babies glare at them.

"Be gone with you! And you fox, keep your promise or else you'll be getting off worse then Skips!" The leader ordered before snapping them away.

Opening their eyes back open they saw they were in Skip's small shack house, looking around they saw Benson, Muscle man, Hi-five ghost, Pops, Margaret, Tracey and Eileen as they all looked at them with smiles

"Surprise!" Everyone shouted out, making Skips widen his eyes and openly gape.

"Let the merrymaking commence! Jolly good show!" Pops laughed out delightfully, wearing a comically small party hat, he ran over and put on some old classical music.

Immediately it was switched off by the snake haired Tracey who shook her head at Pops. "This isn't the 1950's grandpa, lemme show you some good music" she said with a grin as she took a tarp off a gigantic boombox.

Soon loud catchy pop music started playing throughout the small house, setting the correct vibe.

"Oh my! This is some good music, thank you Tracey!" Pops laughed while clapping his hands, making Tracey smile in gratitude.

"Stick around and I'll show you a thing or two pops" she giggled as they started conversing with each other, surprisingly striking up an easy environment with each other as they were both laughing.

"So let me get this straight, you two almost killed me over some cake?" Skips demanded, not amused at all.

"Look on the bright side Skips, we got you this birthday present, it says Skips godfather of soul" Rigby pulled out the broken plate from earlier that morning with Skips drawn over it with the words crossed out and written over it.

"Wow no one has ever thrown me a birthday party before, thanks." Skips said with a small smile before looking over at Naruto. "And as for you Naruto, you didn't have to go out of your way just to alternate the deal."

"I know Skips, but you shouldn't have to do some stupid silly dance every year, skipping out of your birthday and being with friends just to appease some god babies to maintain your eternal youth. Plus it's literally no hassle to go down to the nearest bakery and grab a dessert every year." Naruto chuckled as he patted the Yeti's shoulder.

"Ah come here you slugger" Skips laughed, which was loud and booming and grabbed Naruto's head and started giving him a noogie, as Naruto tried to get out of his grip while laughing himself.

Hearing a commotion he looked over and saw Benson berating Mordecai and Rigby.

Walking over he could make out their conversation which Benson was questioning his two friends on where the chocolate cake was at.

Coughing to get their attention, he succeeded "Hey so I have the chocolate cake Benson. Muscle man, bring it in!" Naruto hollered, getting a yell back from the green troll before walking out.

A moment later a huge cart was rolled in with a gigantic chocolate cake with a small statue of Skips flexing on top of it with many candle lights.

"Holy moly" Skips whispered in awe seeing the cake that was made for him.

"Whoa" Benson and Mordecai muttered with mouths agape.

"CAKE" Rigby yelled out before sprinting towards it, with Muscle Man stopping him telling him Skips should have the honors.

" HEY everyone, we're gonna sing Skips happy birthday now!" Naruto shouted, making everyone nod and start gathering around while he dimmed the lights and lit the candles.

Soon everyone was singing happy birthday to Skips who had a giant smile on his face, soon it was time to cut the cake and as promised Skips had the first dibs and he cut a gigantic piece for himself.

"Sheesh save some cake for the rest of us Skips" Hi-five ghost chuckled making everyone chuckle or giggle.

"Don't forget the gifts!" Margaret said, making everyone eagerly nod and start pulling gifts from hidden spots.

Naruto carried in a brand new weight set with weights that could go up to 1000 lbs.

Margaret brought in different outfits that Naruto told her Skips was one day interested in.

Tracey carried in a small flat screen tv for him, seeing as his current tv was some old worn out tv that was on its last legs.

Muscle man brought in some brand new tools to help Skips fix and work on.

Hi-five ghost brought him a rice cooker because apparently Skips loved rice, like a lot.

Pops brought him all sorts of rare sweets that would cost a fortune in other parts of the world for how sweet they were.

Benson brought him books that Skips liked to read, particularly romance novels; which came as a surprise for everyone there.

Finally Eileen brought in some exotic plants when she left for traveling, she even got him a Venus flytrap which instantly interested Skips.

After gifts were handed out everyone split off to do their own thing or have fun. Muscle man and hi-five ghost decided to try the new weight machine to test their manliness as they put it.

Tracey was mingling with pops with her phone out with her headphones in his ears while introducing him to new songs while he danced and snapped his fingers while laughing.

Benson was conversing with Skips while they both lightly laughed, making Naruto assume they were telling each other old jokes that only they could get.

Mordecai and Rigby were over at the cake stuffing their faces with the chocolate goodness, while ignoring the rest of the world.

Looking over he saw Margaret and Eileen chatting with each other with drinks in their hands.

Feeling eyes on her, she looked around before spotting him making her smile, before she said something to Eileen making her roll her eyes but smile in amusement.

Strutting over while his eyes traveled down her wide hips, she leaned in and whispered "meet me outside in five minutes" and just like that she was gone.

After the most agonizing five minutes in his life, he finally went out back of the small house to the cool air and was greeted by Margaret staring at the moon high in the sky. Looking over she saw him finally come out and smiled again with her eyes showing her happiness.

Walking up, Naruto stood beside her while they sat in a comfortable silence. "Fun party isn't it?" Naruto questioned as he looked at her out of the corner of his eye.

"It certainly was, though half of it wouldn't have been possible without him, you know?" Margaret giggled as she unconsciously took a step closer to the nine tailed fox.

"I ain't much for bragging, but yeah I know" Naruto cockily said with a small chuckle.

"Careful Mr Naruto, arrogance is unbecoming of you" Margaret responded in amusement.

Growing quiet Naruto looked over at Margaret and saw how the moon just seemed to radiate off her, for the second time that day his breath seemed to have been taken out of him as he was completely and utterly mesmerized by the gorgeous Red Robin woman.

"Hey Margaret"

"Hmm?"

"How about we go on a date sometime soon" Naruto blurted out, making her turn to him so quickly he was worried she might've broken her neck.

"What did you say?" She blushed as she couldn't believe the words out of his mouth.

"I said how about we go on a date sometime soon, I mean you don't hav-" Naruto repeated himself, before he was cut off when he felt a pair of lips connect with his, before breaking off.

"I would love too" Margaret said with a smile that could make any man weak in the knees while her green eyes sparkled in the moonlight.

Looking at her Naruto couldn't help himself, he dove back in and kissed her once more, which she recuperated wholeheartedly.

They didn't notice a pair of eyes on them in their passionate makeout.
