SUMMARY: Global Justice has been searching for Faith since she left Boston, and sent two of their best to find the running girl and help her get to Sunnydale, giving her the support she needs. Of course, Ron and Yori have their own idea of what supporting her means. No Sex in the first story.

FEEDBACK: Of course! It Makes Me Write Faster
RELATIONSHIPS: Ron Stoppable/Yori/Faith

SPOILERS: None, it's been years since Kim Possible finished, so if you don't know the story by now, why are you reading this?

WARNINGS: If You've ever read any of my stories, you know what to expect, Oral, anal, Femme-slash, dom/sub, multiple partners, and Femme-cest.

AUTHORS NOTES: I've shifted the Kim Possible timeline quite a bit, this story takes place after the Kim Possible finale. Also, Ron and Yori were an established couple (with kinks), so he and Kim didn't get romantically involved. This can be considered an AU sequel to my other story Three Cheer(Leaders) for Ron Stoppable, one where things with Tara don't work out in the end.

1630 Revello Drive

Sunnydale California

Sunday, June 7th, 1998

4:00 pm

The last couple of days had been a blur to Faith, an endless stretch of highway broken up with eating at roadside restaurants and sharing a room in whatever hotel they had a reservation at. Not that she was complaining, seeing the Utah landscape was pretty amazing for a girl from Southie, but it did get old after a while.

She did like what she'd seen of Vegas, but they drove through the city during the day and it was hard to get the full effect of the Strip. Even if it had been dark they wouldn't have been able to enjoy the city since none of them were 21 yet, but it was something to keep in mind, if they lived that long.

Most of the drive since they woke up this morning was how to approach Joyce Summers and Buffy's support team. The three of them agreed, and got Dr Director's approval, that complete honesty, within the limits of security, was the only way to approach the Sunnydale locals. The one thing they were to keep quiet on, until it became necessary, was that the entire ruling cabal of the Watcher's Council had been arrested and were being held at the convenience of the Queen in a secure location, and the Hellsing Organization had taken over their operations. The Field Watchers would be left in place and informed of the new situation within the next few days.

Faith wasn't sure how she felt about that, since Doc Dormer had been decent to her, but after hearing about some of the things the Watchers had done over the centuries, including something called the Cruciamentum, it really made her wonder. So far, Ron, Yori and Doctor Director had played straight with her, and if they are saying things with the Watcher REMFs were hinky, she'd trust them until she found out otherwise.

Once that was decided, the rest of the ride was spent with her and Yori trying to make Ron blush by spinning the most outrageous fantasies they could come up with. They didn't get him to blush, but he did say that Yori was going to have trouble sitting the next day with the spanking she had coming to her. Yori got really quiet then, but Faith could see the grin on her face, and based on the other night, she had a feeling the girl was really looking forward to it.

Things started changing after they finally got to Sunnydale around noon. Faith wasn't sure exactly what it was, but as soon as they hit the city limits, it felt like her skin was crawling, like everything was coated with a thin layer of slime. She checked Yori and Monkey-Boy but they didn't seem to notice anything, so it must be a Slayer thing. Something to talk about with Buffy Summers when she got back.

Ron had pulled the van into the driveway of 1632 Revello Drive twenty minutes later, and they had just gotten out and stretched their legs when the Realtor pulled up behind them. The paperwork musta been all taken care of, because it was less than five minutes later that the woman was handing over the keys and they were unlocking the door.

The place was furnished, nothing fancy, but it was definitely a relic of the 70's, Faith never expected to see actual shag carpet, but the place was covered in it! No wonder the place was available when the Director wanted to rent it. At least they weren't sitting and sleeping on the floor.

Ron must have noticed her expression because he grinned, "We're going to be shopping in the next couple of days, this place looks like it should be the set of a Brady Bunch remake!"

She snorted, and Yori giggled, but then they went out to the van and got their luggage. Walking down the hall, Faith opened the first door she came to, and saw that it was a decent sized bedroom. Setting her backpack on the bed, she opened the closet and gave a soft whistle. She'd heard of walk-in closets, but it was different seeing one for her to use. Hanging up the clothes she'd bought in Cleveland, she looked around the rest of the room and grinned when she saw her own private bathroom. She could get used to this!

Stepping back into the hallway, she heard Ron and Yori's voices from the end of the hall, and went to see what they had found. They were in the master bedroom and were already starting to unpack, so Faith went to explore the rest of the house. She was just passing the front door when the doorbell rang. Faith glanced out the window and swore silently, it was Joyce Summers standing on the front porch. She knew they would have to talk to her, but thought they'd get a chance to relax first.

Taking a deep breath and releasing, she put a welcoming smile on her face and opened the door.

Joyce wasn't sure what prompted her to come over and greet her new neighbors, but she had to do something besides wait around and hope to hear from Buffy. She had regretted her angry words almost as soon as they left her mouth, but it was too late, her daughter was gone. And now she has no idea where her little girl was, hoping against hope that she was okay and would call her.

But now that she was standing on the porch, she was second guessing herself, these people just want to get moved in, they don't want to be disturbed, especially by some old woman they don't know. She was about to turn around and go back to her house when the door opened and a dark haired girl was standing there, a friendly smile on her face.

"Hello?" The girl said, and Joyce found herself relaxing a little, they weren't going to reject her.

"Hi, my name is Joyce Summers, I'm your next door neighbor and saw you arrive earlier. I thought I'd come over and welcome you to Sunnydale."

The girl's smile turned to a grin, and she pulled the door completely open and stepped back. Joyce blinked at the unusual action, but then realized the girl must know about vampires. She relaxed even more, if they knew about the dangers she could talk to them and not worry about them thinking she was crazy.

Giving Faith a nod, Joyce stepped into the house and turned back to Faith. Before she could say anything, she heard footsteps coming down the hall, and saw a redheaded young man and an attractive oriental girl, both of them smiling when they saw her.

Faith said, "Hey Ron, Yori, this is Joyce Summers our next door neighbor, she just came over to say hello. Joyce? The goofy looking one is Ron Stoppable and the babe is his girlfriend Yori. Personally, I think she could do better, but, no accounting for taste."

Joyce stared at the girl, having a hard time believing what she had just said, when both Ron and Yori started laughing, and Faith smirked. Shaking her head, Joyce chuckled before saying hello to the two of them.

Ron smiled at her, and strangely, she was suddenly reminded of Xander, only a bit older. He gestured to the couch and said "Go ahead and have a seat? Would you like a soda? Sorry we don't have a big variety, just what's in the cooler. We were going on a grocery run this afternoon."

Joyce sat down on the couch, trying not to flinch at the ugliness, and accepted a can of Diet Coke. When Ron, Yori and Faith had their drinks, they sat down, and Ron opened his mouth, and her world was turned upside down.

"Actually Joyce, we already knew who you are, you're one of the people we came to Sunnydale to help. You and Buffy and her friends."

She couldn't help it, the constant strain and worry, and then these strangers say they are hear to help her? The shock was too much, and she passed out!

"Shit!" Faith swore as she reached out and grabbed the soda before it spilled and set it on the table. Ron and Yori were moving Joyce so she was laying stretched out on the couch, and put her feet up on the armrest.

"What the hell was that, Monkey-Boy? I thought we were going to ease Joyce into it, not just dump it on her out of nowhere. She's not going to believe a damn thing we say now."

Joyce's eyes fluttered and she groaned, trying to sit up. "Actually, I just might believe you, I've seen and heard stranger things in the last couple of weeks. But why don't you tell me what you meant, Ron, if that's your name?"

Ron and Yori helped get her sitting up again, and Ron said, "Well, to start with, my name is Ron Stoppable and the ladies are Yori and Faith. Although you might have noticed that Faith isn't a lady."

"Oy! Watch it, Monkey-Boy!" Faith grumbled, getting a laugh out of Joyce, which is what Faith wanted to do.

Ron rolled his eyes at her, and she stuck her tongue out, before he turned back to Joyce. "As for helping you, Yori and I work for an organization called Global Justice, you probably haven't heard of it, which is how we like it. Anyway, we normal handle things like crime lords and terrorists, there are other organizations that are better equipped to handle the supernatural threats. However, a couple of things here in Sunnydale attracted the attention of our organization. I can't tell you exactly what, because of security issues, but it prompted us to take a deeper look. We have people looking for Buffy now, and she was seen earlier this morning in Los Angeles. Our agent wasn't able to contact her, but she appeared to be in good health. She at least was clean and dressed in what looked like a waitress's uniform."

The look of relief on Joyce's face was almost heartbreaking, and Faith wondered what it would be like to care about somebody that much? She didn't say anything because Ron was still talking, "And Faith, well we met up with Faith on our way to Sunnydale, she was making her way here because she was recently called as the Slayer, after the death of Kendra Young, the previous Slayer."

Joyce looked at her sadly, but Faith just gave her a smile, "It's gonna be five by five, Mrs Summers, Ron and Yori and the rest of the organization are going to be providing support, not just to me, but to Buffy and her friends, to make sure we all make it to retirement age."

"Retirement? I didn't think Slayers got to retire, it was fight until they die!" Joyce was staring at her intently, and Faith scowled,

"What the hell was her watching thinking? No, a Slayer makes it to 23, and the spirit moves on to the next girl, and the urge to fight the uglies goes away, and they aren't automatically attracted to you anymore. You still get to keep the bonuses, the strength, speed and quick healing, but you can live a perfectly normal life. I wonder why Merrick or this Giles never told her?" Shaking her head, "Anyway, it should be the goal of all the Watchers to get their Slayer to retirement, but it doesn't seem to be happening much. My Watcher made sure it was one of the first things I learned when she told me I was a potential Slayer."

Joyce straightened up on the couch, a look of determination on her face, "Right! As soon as we get Buffy back, I'm going to shove my foot up that limey bastards ass so far he'll be burping boot! How dare he mislead my baby like this? Okay, so what do we do now? You've got people looking out for Buffy to bring her home, what's next?"

Yori said, "Well, in addition to making sure all of you receive therapy for what you've been going through, because Buffy and her friends have basically been on the front lines of a guerrilla war for the last two years or more, and are likely suffering from PTSD at the very least. There will also be family counseling for you and Buffy, to rebuilt the trust between the two of you that was damaged by Buffy feeling she had to hide what she was doing from you."

Joyce's eyes went wide, and she paled, whispering something that sounded like 'Overton' but Faith couldn't be sure.

Faith spoke up, "It's not just you and Buffy and the others that are getting therapy, I'm going to be going through it to, to deal with some things that happened when I was called, and before that, so don't feel like you are being singled out."

"As for what's next," Ron said, "Can you call Buffy's friends, Xander and Willow, and the others that are helping and ask them to come over? You can tell them you have information on Buffy. If Mister Giles is available, it would be good if he were here as well, there is information he will need to be aware of."

Joyce nodded, "Yes, I'll call and have them come to my house, would you like to come over and meet them there? It's a lot more comfortable than this place."

Later

Joyce sat back in her seat, a class of wine in her hand as she looked at them, "Well, that could have gone better, don't you think?"

Ron knew that the comment was directed at him, but couldn't really defend himself. Surprisingly, somebody did. Alexander no, Xander, Xander Harris leaned forward and said,

"Actually, Mrs Summers, it did go pretty well, at least until Giles showed up wit up his ass. I know that the idea of having support beyond one man in the library is a good feeling. Not to mention the medical insurance for all of us, and being paid as a consultant. Not all of us are as rich as Queen C here," He grinned at his girlfriend, who just rolled her eyes at him, "so it's handy having some income of our own."

The grin dropped briefly, and Xander grimaced, "And honestly, I still have nightmares about Jesse and Ampata, and some of the other things we've faced. And I know that Wills and Cordy have too. Sorry Oz, you've never cried on my shoulder about nightmares, so I don't know about you."

The blue haired guy, just gave a tiny quirk of a grin and said, "It's cool, besides, I keep a rawhide chew by my bed if I get woke up in the middle of the night." The three of them grinned, but Joyce looked totally lost about that comment, and Ron just figured it was an inside joke.

Xander turned to look at Joyce, "No, it was Giles finding out that Faith and the others knew things that were supposed to be deep dark secrets for 'reasons' is what got his panties in a twist, although you belting him one when he walked through the door probably didn't help matters."

Joyce shrugged, "Maybe not, but it was satisfying as hell, and I'd do it again if I thought it was necessary."

Cordelia gave Joyce what he'd heard referred to as her 'Thousand Watt Smile," and sweetly asked, "I don't suppose you could do that to Snyder, and somewhere that we could get pictures, could you? I promise to make it worth your while."

The three of them laughed, and Joyce seemed to be considering it, making Ron add the name Snyder to the list of people to be investigated, but that was for tomorrow.

"No, Giles' real problem was when Ron opened his laptop and he was confronted by Sir Integra, and why do you call a lady 'Sir'? Giles really didn't like finding out that all of the Watchers leadership was arrested and hidden away, and that he was on probation, but, if he had been doing his job, Angelus would have been stopped months ago, and lots of people, including Miss Calendar would still be alive."

Ron glanced over at Yori, and then caught Faith's eye as they listened to Xander, and what he was saying and not saying, and it looked like their briefing on this town was woefully incomplete.

When Xander sat back in his chair, pulling his girlfriend close, Ron spoke up,

"Well, I'm not aware of any time machine powerful to take us back far enough to fix all problems. The best we can do is move forward. I'm sorry that Mister Giles reacted so badly, because his knowledge would be useful until the Hellsing Organization can get up to speed on the local conditions. But, based on what we've seen, I'm afraid he may find himself being transported back to England in manacles if he doesn't change his attitude. His job is to support the Slayer, period. The supposed 'traditions' are okay, but if they interfere with his job, they need to be ignored."

Nobody said anything for a long moment, until Faith said, "We can talk about this crap all night, and won't change anything. I'm hungry, who's in the mood for pizza? My treat."

That broke the mood nicely, and soon Joyce was calling for several large pizzas and drinks to be delivered. She wanted to pay for everything, but Faith insisted. He would have a word with Joyce later, help her understand what being able to pay means to Faith.

The pizzas would take about an hour to get there, so they all sat down and just started chatting, getting to know each other, and giving Faith the information she would need to fit in at the High School when it started again.

It was nearly an hour later when there was a soft knock on the door. Joyce looked up at the clock and said, "Must be the pizza, but I thought they would ring the bell."

Xander got up to help her carry everything and they walked to the front door. Ron turned back to Willow and continued the conversation they were having. They heard the door opening, but then there was dead silence for almost a minute, until they heard Joyce screaming

"Buffy! You're home!"

The End

To be continued in "Team Stoppable On The Hellmouth" coming soon. I apologize for the lack of lemons in the story, but it just didn't feel right for the characters at this point in time.
