In the corner of Midoriya's emerald eyes, he saw Uraraka walk away with the girls. He couldn't help but notice the solemn look on her face as Ashido gently dragged her out of the Common Space.

I've never seen her look so defeated before. I guess she's still feeling down...

Every part of his body wanted to make her feel better, but soon realized her friends were taking care of it. He didn't want to get in the way of a personal conversation. That didn't stop him from staring at her.

Her rosy cheeks were redder than ever, making her caramel brown eyes stand out even more. Her beautiful, thick hair with a similar color hugged her flustered face, almost as if it was trying to console her.

She actually looks kind of cute...

The moment Uraraka disappeared around the corner, Midoriya unexpectedly felt a flick at the top of his head. He turned his head to see Kaminari giving him a knowing grin. It took him a second to notice that all of the guys except Bakugo were doing the same while they chilled out on the couches.

"Dude, were you checking out the girls?"

"N-No! W-Why wo-would I do that?" Midoriya responded way too quickly.

"Heh, I knew you had dirty thoughts somewhere deep inside that clever mind of yours," Mineta said with a pervy smile.

Midoriya's entire face turned bright red in an instant and could barely focus.

"Yo-You've got it all wrong! I wo-would never do that!"

Kaminari and Mineta's grins widened even more, making Midoriya very uncomfortable. He felt like he was being pushed into a corner. Kirishima was about to intervene, but Iida spoke up before anyone else could.

"Are you worried about Uraraka? She has been a bit down about the Winter Dance for some reason."

"Uraraka?!" The rest of the group said in unison. Bakugo didn't chime in on the conversation, but he at least looked up from his phone for a quick second.

"Wait a minute, are you thinking about asking Uraraka to the Winter Dance?" Kaminari asked, curiosity on full blast.

"That's awesome, man!" Kirishima commented, showing off his sharp smile, "I was thinking about asking Ashido to the dance, but I didn't want Bakugo to feel like a third wheel."

"Hey, I'm no one's third wheel. Ya got that?!" Bakugo threatened with a clenched fist.

Iida immediately took charge and was somehow able to defuse Bakugo's anger. Midoriya hoped it would cause everyone to forget this particular subject matter. Unfortunately, it didn't last.

"Is this true, Midoriya?" Iida asked, "You didn't mention this beforehand."

Why is this happening to me?!

He could swear his face was on fire at this point. Images of Uraraka couldn't help but enter his overwhelmed mind. Eventually her likeness got him to calm down a little. His face still felt warm, but it was enough to put his thoughts in order.

Me... asking Uraraka... to the Winter Dance?... I mean, she's one of my best friends, and we're always looking out for each other, but... I've been so focused on my hero training that dating never crossed my mind... Would Uraraka even want to go out with someone like me?...

Awkward silence filled the room.

"I... I don't know..."

"What do you mean, you don't know?!" Mineta asked in an over exaggerated tone, "Us males always pursue any beautiful female that crosses our path cuz you never know when some tall, dark and handsome specimen is gonna come in and sweep her off her feet!"

Midoriya opened his mouth, but no words came out. He didn't know how to respond to that. No one did.

"Don't listen to this pervert," Sero told him as he threatened to tape Mineta's mouth shut, "Uraraka's too smart to fall for a dumb cliche like that."

"This dance came as a surprise to us, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of us end up going in groups," Ojiro reassured him.

"I have a feeling you were never planning on asking anyone to the dance," Todoroki said in an aloof but caring tone.

It took Midoriya a moment to compose all of his thoughts and feelings about everything.

"To be completely honest, I didn't even think about it until you guys brought it up," Midoriya told them as he stared at the floor with a slight blemish across his face, "Besides, I... I..."

He tried to force the words to come out, but nerves got in the way. Everyone was staring at him, waiting for an answer.

More awkward silence.

"I... I've never asked a girl out on a... da-date before."

"What?!"

"Why are you extras so surprised?" Bakugo interrupted, "You really think a nerd like him had a girlfriend before U.A.? Don't kid yourselves."

Midoriya wanted to curl up in a ball and disappear forever. He didn't even notice that Todoroki had gotten up and sat next to him.

"Midoriya, do you want to ask Uraraka to the dance?"

Remembering the walk back to the dorms, and Uraraka's solemn face before she left made him realize she wasn't prepared in any way for this. Maybe, just maybe... asking her out might brighten up her week.

All I want... is to see her smile.

A genuine smile formed on his face, forgetting about his nerves for a moment.

"I do... but I don't know how."

Everybody except Bakugo looked at each other for guidance and/or advice. Mineta looked like he was about to burst from Midoriya's inexperience with girls.

"We'll help you out," Kaminari told him with a little too much confidence.

Almost everyone seemed to jump on board right away.

"Yeah," Kirishima agreed, "It's the least we can do after everything you've done for us and this school."

Midoriya definitely broke some sort of record for the most blushing in one day.

"I don't know much about dating either, but as Class Rep. and your friend, I want to help out in any way I can," Iida said as he placed his hand on Midoriya's shoulder.

Midoriya felt nothing but appreciation for his classmates. No, for his friends. His eyes gleamed with excitement, until memories of Uravity using Gunhead martial arts appeared before him.

"Entering the forbidden gardens can be a bit intimidating at first, but once you persevere, you'll find it very fulfilling," Tokoyami said in a very poetic manner.

"Oui, I couldn't have said it better myself," Aoyama commented with a lot of pizzazz.

"What about you guys?" Midoriya asked, putting a bit of blame on his shoulders, "I don't want you guys putting everything aside just for me. I'm sure some of you are planning on asking someone to the dance like Kirishima."

"Yeah," Kaminari told him, a slight blush appearing on his cheeks, "But don't worry about it. You and Uraraka are our friends, and we wouldn't be much of a class, or heroes, if we weren't able to lend a helping hand."

Midoriya felt gratitude begin to build up into tears, but was somehow able to show off a shining smile instead.

"Thanks guys. This means a lot to me."

Here's Midoriya's chapter! I'm going to switch between him, Uraraka and possibly someone else in this story. This chapter was a bit tough to write and figure out, but it turned out pretty good in the end.

Next chapter will be Uraraka's conversation with the girls. Possible spoilers from Season 5 coming up.
