Maria has left and Georg has found her note that same evening. Will the Captain find her in time, or has he lost her forever?

This is a revision of one of my previous journal entries from Georg's POV. The night before the wedding Agathe returns in a dream to give Georg her blessing.

"You've been given a very rare gift, Maria. To see what things would be like if you never went to the villa in the first place." My contribution for the proboards May prompt.

The Captain is struggling with an unknown problem and Maria is having strange dreams. What will she find when she follows the melancholy music of her dreams one night?

Maria reflects over her past and the current situation she finds herself in after having just returned from the abbey. I know this area is well gone over in fan fiction, but I thought I would give it a shot as my first SOM fan fiction as a way to test out the waters. I dedicate this to everyone on the ProBoards who encouraged me to finish and post my work. I hope you enjoy it!

This is in response to a prompt from the Proboards about a taxi ride. I do not own TSOM and I'm only writing for fun and not profit. Reviews always welcome! Thanks and hope you enjoy.

Maria is stuck between two lives, the old and the new. No longer a governess, but not yet a wife and mother, not for two more weeks. There are only long, lonely nights at the Abbey, and days full of wedding preparations and new lessons about love. An astonishing transformation, from postulant to Baroness, and it's happened so quickly! Why her? What had the others been like?

After being confronted by his oldest and dearest friend following his performance of Edelweiss, Georg is forced to confront the feelings he's been so desperate to suppress. My first fanfiction, reviews welcome.

Set in 1941. Liesl talks to Maria about her boyfriends again.

"I don't know," Georg said, clearing considering his words carefully. "I think the right words at the right time could make a woman swoon." "Not me," Maria snorted, shaking her head.

Maria does not return to the von Trapp villa, and it's up to fate (and probably a little help from a certain taxi driver) to bring Georg and Maria together. Written for the April Writing Prompt. Oneshot.

Despite her best intentions, all plans that come to mind fall to wrack and ruin at the hands of one certain sea captain who refuses to believe smoke and mirrors and is determined to extract the truth from her.
