This is a few connected short stories after Snakehead about how Alex recovered from his mission and adjusted to normal life. Feel free to leave suggestions on what you want to see. It's mostly angst including (so far) an apathetic job counselor, therapy sessions in a janitor's closet, meddling karate instructors, nerds with crushes, sleep troubles, and bullies.

Now an official MI6 operative, Alex Rider struggles to retain some normality in his life. It's too bad that fellow terrorist organizations don't respect his choices. (May contain very cliche plots... or not?)

On Alex's 'last ever mission', something terrible happens to him. Not something he will die of, but how can he live with what he has now become? Where does he go from here, now that he's no longer quite human any more?

It started as a whisper, rumors about a teenage spy stalking the underground. There was little proof that it was real . . . and then the big criminal organizations started falling one by one, each claiming to have been unprepared for a spy in their midst, a spy who wore the face of youth like a mask even though, inside, he clearly wasn't one.

Alex has some time to kill. Those pesky new field agents (-hem, Eric-) won't listen. Uh-oh… looks like time isn't the only thing Alex wants to kill. (One-shot!)

Stepping into his bedroom Alex landed on his bed and pressed the cold pack to his face. Eve set off at a run, Tom at her heels. Fox ran a hand over his hat that he always wore around people, it hid his red-brown hair; he was 24 and looked about 40. "Yes urm...I'm sorry to say your carer Jack Starbright has been poisoned." The world dimmed till Alex knew no more.
