Welcome back everyone! Before we jump into the story, let's take a look at some of the suggestions in the comments. Take it away crystal!
"First from the Guests: they have asked about Wanda's Family and suggested that Danny and friends go to a Chip Skylark concert."
Don't worry about Wanda's Fam. I already planned to add them into the story. just waiting for the right time. As for the concert idea, there will have to be a reason to attend. I just don't see Danny regularly listening to that type of music (Chip Skylark is like 'boy bands' type; that's Dash's thing). There may be a meeting with Chip Skylark, but only if I can fit it into the story.
"GiantFlower has asked if Danny will be taking on the role as Timmy's babysitter, the adding of baby Poof, and an 'Anti-Danny'. Ooh, that last one brought up quite a discusssion."
The first one will be answered in the immediate future. Vicky is going to be increasingly antagonistic as the story progresses.
"That's the plan."
Baby Poof... Hmmm, NOPE! Sorry, but not sorry! I pretty much agree with theL3monTart's sentiments about the later seasons. The seasons before Baby Poof are superior. I'm either not including material from later seasons or I'm altering it. I just don't get the bowling ball baby...
"Hehe, bowling ball..."
Now for the last one-
"At first we're like 'Nah, there's no need'. Then Sera says 'What if Dan Phantom was originally the anti-Danny? Using what powers he already had (fairies can time travel and such) he then stole Danny's and Vlad's ghost powers, offed Danny, and altered Vlad's memories of what happened. Now having a crazy load of power, he then is causing chaos and even messing with the time stream to ensure that he ends up on top. Which would explain why he would still exist is Danny had changed what was to happen. Anti-fairies are supposed to be the evil versions of fairies. Dan is the evil version of Danny...' Sera was pretty excited about that concept. Then again, she likes stories with darker themes and stuff like that. The rest of us are like 'Yeah, don't think so'."
So will there be an Anti-Danny? Probably not, but that may change (no promises). Now I hope you guys enjoy this next chapter.
"Yes, please do. Now if you will excuse me, I need to board up the windows and doors now."
What, Why?
"Because 1) someone caught wind of our plan for a Mandie redemtion plot and 2) I think the wierdo named Deadpool is trying to bust in."
Oh no, not that guy.
"Most definitely NOT! I'm the only one to break the forth wall in these stories! Besides, none of that bad language is allowed. Maybe we can use Sera to scare him off..."
...~~~oOo~~~...
Chapter 10
Fear. That was the main feeling coursing though him as he struggled in his captor's grasp. He wanted to back to mommy and daddy. He wanted to have his party, play at the park with Zeke, have the big, scary guy with the funny voice babysit his again... anything besides being with this creepy blue guy who looked similar to his dad, but evil.
"LET ME GO! MOMMY, HELP!"
"Uh uh uh, little Daniel," scolded his captor, sending chills down the boy's spine, "there's no need to fuss. You're going on a little trip, far, FAR away where your mommy and daddy can't find you-"
"NOOOO!" The boy squirmed as his captor locked him inside some sort of cell. The inside was small. The only light came through the small window on the door. He pounded his small fists on the door, hoping that somehow it would pop open and he would be able to escape. Stopping his attempts on hitting the door, he studied the inside of his cell. Which may not be a cell, he figured when he discovered a seat complete with seatbelts.
A loud explosion shook his little... whatever you called it. Peering out the window, he saw his parents and several others storming the room, contending with his villain captor and his evil minions. Hey, he was a bad guy; those other bad fairies were definitely evil minions. His parents were arguing with the evil daddy lookalike- evil twin? Did daddy have an evil twin? Evil twin did a laugh -yep, so definitely a villain- and gestured towards his direction. His parents, finally noticing him inside his prison with seatbelts. Worry popped up on their faces, then melted away to anger as the boy's father tackled his evil twin while his mother flew up to the door and attempted to open it. She was shouting frantically at the boy's father, probably because she couldn't open the door. She turn to the boy on the other side, who had both hands and his face against the glass.
'Danny...' he couldn't hear what she was saying, but could somewhat tell what she was saying by lip reading.
"Mom..." Danny said softly. His mother placed a hand on the window where one of his hands rested.
'It'll be okay...calm... be safe...' her rosy eyes looked into his tear-filled blue eyes. '... love you-' she was then blasted away from the window. Now seeing the fight again, he saw evil twin at a control panel, wrestling with his daddy. Evil twin then blasted daddy away with his wand.
"Bad evil guy! Stop being a fruitloop and let me out!" Danny pounded on the glass again, now angry at the bad guy who had hurt his dad. Suddenly, his little room began to shake, nearly causing him to fall over. Regaining his footing, he looks out the window just in time to see the control panel that evil twin was using blow up. Danny is then knocked down by the sudden movement of his room speeding away.
Barely able to stand up, he sees out the window that his prison was now airborne. Was he on a plane? Or a space- his thoughts were interrupted by the shuddering of the aircraft. Scrambling to the seat, he strapped himself in. The vehicle's engine, or whatever, began to groan. He could hear something metal grinding. Even though he was only five, he knew that something was terribly wrong. He could see smoke through the window. The craft jittered more violently, then abruptly began to plummet. For a brief moment, Danny felt weightless. He was briefly distracted by his fears when he wondered if this was how astronauts felt in space.
The instant contact of ship with ground threw him about in his seat. His head collided with the wall; pain erupted through his skull and traveled through his body. The ship skidded across the ground, eventually slowing to a stop. The door was ajar, the crash having knock it loose, and he could now hear the outside world. His head was swimming with pain; he lazily looked about, slowly losing consciousness.
The screech of tires then voices reached his ears. The ship jostled a bit, then the door was ripped open, allowing light to come in. There stood two figures clad in jumpsuits, hoods up and googles over their eyes; A large man in orange and the smaller woman in teal. The woman tugged off her hood and googles, revealing auburn hair and shocked heather eyes.
"...mom..." Danny's eyes closed, and he remembered no more...
Danny shot up in bed, panting from the dream- no, memory from his sleep.
~~~Line Break: the POV Wars~~~
"So how did the rest of Thursday evening go?" Asked Sam as the trio of friends walked to school Monday morning. Since there was staff training on Friday, the students of Casper high had an extended weekend. Because of this, Sam's parents had decided to drag the goth girl to a gala for the weekend, much to her dismay. She had just finished ranting about the injustice of forcing her to wear frilly dresses and the like. Sam hadn't really heard much of Danny's babysitting venture.
"Eh, pretty well once we managed to get rid of the wackos. Seriously, Crocker's nuts! I won't ever complain about Mom and Dad's eccentrics again. We played several of Timmy's games and watched a movie before his parents came home. The Turners must have been impressed with me, because they asked if I would be willing to be their go-to babysitter for Timmy."
"Well, did you say yes?"
"I said I'll think about it. I would really like to do it (Timmy would too), but I'm not sure how to fit that in with my 'other activities'. It will be tricky to do with me having to defend the town from ghosts."
"I still can't get over how that fairy who delivered the pizza was an old friend of yours." Tucker added in.
"Small world, Huh?"
As the three friends passed fellow classmates on their way to school, the first thing they noticed was how everyone they passed seemed to be watching them, as if they were expecting the trio to do something spectacular.
"What are they looking at?" Danny whispered to his friends as they approached the school. Both friends shrugged. Pushing the doors of the entrance open, Team Phantom trotted to homeroom. There was whispers of excited conversation as the trio passed classmates, who were watching them with curiosity, anticipation, and giddiness. Entering homeroom, the attention of the occupants of the classroom was turned to Danny and his friends.
"Hey Danny, how was your weekend?" Star asked, giving the halfa a smile.
Danny blinked in surprise. Star actually said hi to him, smiled at him nicely, and even said his name. "Uh, it was good... how was yours?" This must be a trap.
Her smile widened, "That's great to hear!"
Danny, Sam, and Tucker went to their desks, being greeted by their peers with cheerful greetings and waves; especially Danny. As he sat at his desk, pulling out his needed books, Danny noticed that most of the class was talking in low whispers and were seeking glances at him. Danny was feeling uncomfortable. 'What's with everyone?' Danny glanced at Sam and Tucker, seeing that they looked just as confused by the attention. That was when Mr. Lancer chose to enter the room, calling for everyone's attention. As the class progressed, Danny would catch someone taking a peek at him.
...
As the day continued on, the students of Casper high greeted Danny cheerfully. Some would ask him how his day was going. Some started up conversation with him and asked about his interests. It went so far as to some asking if Danny was available to hang out sometime.
Something was terribly, horribly, undeniably wrong.
At first, Danny assumed he was just jumpy from his dream last night. Sam and Tucker agreed that might be the case, but as the day progressed, they all agreed something was going on. Especially when it seemed some of the A-listers who used to call him names were trying to make an effort to be more pleasant to the teen.
"Why do you think everyone is giving me so much attention?" Danny whispered, the friends heading to their next class.
"Dunno. Whatever's going on, it's getting on my nerves." Sam muttered.
"Maybe they finally realized how awesome we are," Tucker grinned, earning an eye roll from the goth.
"Yeah, that's exactly what's going on Tucker. This is serious!"
"I AM serious!"
"Guys!" Danny whisper-shouted, "now's not the time to start fighting!"
"Sorry man. So what'd you think is happening? Prank?"
"Seriously doubt it. Maybe a ghost."
"My ghost sense hasn't gone off. Can't be it."
Tucker chuckled. "For all we know, everyone thinks you're Phantom..."
Danny's eyes widen, horror growing as he considered what Tucker said. "No... what if that is what happened?" He whispered frantically.
"Danny, I was just kidding-"
"What if word gets out? What if my parents find out?! And what's to stop the GIW from coming over and arresting me?!"
"Danny, there's no way anyone found out your secret." Sam said sternly. "Tucker was just being stupid. There's probably a very reasonable explanation for all this." Danny didn't looked reassured.
"Yeah, what she- HEY!" Tucker protested.
"Yo Fenton! How's the little man?" Kwan called out, slapping Danny on the back. The trio, having tensed up in surprise, relaxed somewhat. Kwan was one of the nicer A-listers and had slowly, over the course of the year, been acting nicer to others.
"G-great, thanks," Danny managed to stutter out. Some other teens like Ashley, Dale, and Michelle also stopped to talk to Danny, which only added to his anxiety. He was then approached by the school nerds, led by Mikey. The looked like they were anticipating a science fair or whatever nerd-fest they enjoyed, carrying clipboards for note taking and other gear. This was bad! They probably knew! Or at least suspected. Goodbye dreams of being an astronaut, hello dissection table. Danny scanned about, trying to figure out the best escape route.
"Hey Danny, how have you-"
"Are you an Alien?!" Blurted out one of the nerds, interrupting Mikey. All worry evaporated as Danny, Sam, and Tucker blinked in surprise.
"...What?"
"Paul! You don't just go yelling out stuff like that!"
Danny was confused("Understatement of the century").
"Uh, wha- why are you asking-"
Mikey shrugged. "We heard about how you were found and adopted by the Fentons. How you were found in what appeared to be a spacecraft. At first there was skepticism about the validation of the story. But with the news paper articles, several witness's testimonies, the police investigation and report..."
"Did your adopted parents keep the space pod that they found you in?"
"Who was the rival of your parents? He must have been well off if he could afford a space craft like that."
"Are your parents actually human?"
"What galaxy are you from?"
Danny rolled his eyes in amusement, slight annoyance, and relief. "Is that why everyone is- help, I'm being hassled by nerds!" That explains why the whole school was so interested in him. Great, now he's being swarmed by people who think he's from Star Trek or something. At least his superhero identity was safe. Danny tried to escape from the crowd, but to no avail.
"Is human tech too primitive for you?"
"It's no wonder he likes space so much!"
"C'mon guys, I have class!" Danny pleaded.
"Back! Back you savages!" Tucker called out as he and Sam jumped to Danny's defense. "But they make excellent points... It would explain your love of space..."
"Tucker, not helping..."
"His parents are human-"
"It could be a cover..."
"He could be the next Superman!"
"Do you get your powers from the sun?"
"He'll look great in spandex!" Called out a random girl in the growing crowd, causing Danny to blush and Sam to scowl.
"Hey, back off from the little bro." Jazz came pushing through the crowd, much to Danny's relief. She grabbed his arm and began to push through the crowd while Sam and Tucker acted as their friend's personal bodyguards. Some of the students, however, were not to be deterred. They blocked the way and fired questions at both Fenton siblings.
"Wait! We have questions!"
Lancer, having been notified of the situation, came out and broke up the crowd. "Enchantress from the Stars! Students, quit harassing the Fenton siblings and go to your classes." Grumbling, the teens complied, gradually dispersing.
"Thank you Mr. Lancer," said a very grateful halfa. The teacher gave a curt nod, walking down the hallway.
~~~Line Break: the autocorrect strikes back~~~
Dimmsdale Elementary
The school had a dreary feel that day, the overcast sky matching the mood. Students dejectedly went to their classed, lulled to sleep by the drone of teachers and their lessons.
Timmy slouched in his desk, counting down the seconds as time inched along. His bored gaze fell upon the pink and green pencils sitting on his desk. He let out a deep sigh as Crocker droned on.
"Man, this may be the most boring day yet. What I wouldn't give for some excitement..."
At that specific moment, a familiar spaceship crashes into the classroom. Out scurries a excitable Squid-like alien, the Yugopotamian prince Mark Chang.
"Turner! Chocolate eating warrior of the planet Earth!"
Screams erupt from Timmy's classmates, while Crocker leaps up from his desk. "ALIEN!" He yells, pointing.
Timmy starts to panic. "GAH! Not again! I wish everyone would freeze!" Now the room is full of kids (and one teacher) encased in ice sculptures. Timmy shoots a pointed look at Mark.
"Woah, major deja vu here~," muttered Cosmo, earning a glare from Wanda.
"Mark, what are you doing here?" Asked Timmy
"I, like, need your help. Mandie is once again after me! I need assistance in, like, fighting her off." Mark declared, flailing his tentacles about in his mad frenzy. "Oh, and I want to hang again dude." He added calmly.
"Okay, you can stay. You'll just hang out here like you did before." Timmy stated, gaining a nod from the alien as he activated his human disguise; a dark haired, boy with mahogany eyes.
"Alright! Mark the 'completely ordinary earth boy' is back! Hushaw..."
"Now time to clean up this mess and unfreeze everyone," Wanda's wand began to light up.
"Not everyone..." Timmy gave a mischievous smile at his frozen teacher.
...
Later at the cafeteria.
"Hurrah for government food!" Mark cheered as he shoveled his lunch into his mouth. Mark was sitting by Timmy and his friends, who were chatting about several different topics. Not far into the lunch break, Principal Waxelplax called the attention for the students. Standing near her were several teachers, including Crocker (who was now sporting a black eye).
"Hello students of Dimmsdale Elementary. I have come to announce more information about the upcoming buddy project with the high school in Amity Park. As you all are aware..."
She continued to drone on as Timmy's friends silently chatted. Timmy was sorta listening. What he had gotten was that his and Danny's home towns were pairing off different schools (like his and Casper High) for a "how school is when you're older", ...something about a field trip, teamwork, blah, blah, blah blah... He was just about to stop listening completely when he heard something like "Lad Nasties". This sounded familiar to the boy, who returned his attention to the diminutive woman.
"-ank for funding both towns so we may be able to do this wonderful experience, the mayor of Amity Park and owner of the DALV co.: Vlad Masters."
Timmy's eyes widen at the mention of Danny's archenemy. He snuck a peek at Cosmo and Wanda. Wanda had a thoughtful, and somewhat worried, look as she listened to the announcement. Cosmo- he had dozed off towards the beginning.
"-isn't that right Timmy?" Chester caught Timmy's attention.
"Huh?"
"I said 'it's gonna be so cool that we're going to the town where your godbrother and the superhero Danny Phantom are', right?"
"Oh! Yeah, I'm so excited," Timmy said half-heartedly as the table broke into eager conversation. As the kids wrapped up and began to head for recess, Mark leaned in and whispered in Timmy's ear, "Who is it that they are talking about?"
"I'll explain later. Cosmo, Wanda; we need to warn Danny about what his archenemy is doing."
"Will do sport. I'll send him a message letting him know that we need to meet up."
"Thanks Wanda. Ooh! Maybe he can help with Mandie too!"
~~~Line Break: A New Font~~~
The rest of the day for Danny was... actually, he couldn't describe how he felt about how school went. So apparently Star had seen him leave school last week with his bio parents and was told his 'origin story' (as Tucker so gracefully put it) by Valerie. Soon the story became the hot, new gossip that spread like wildfire. Now his peers were curious about the mysterious Danny Fenton, since it seemed that he had many interesting secrets. One thing's for sure; he was grateful for when the day was over and even more so that Wanda sent him the message that they needed to meet up. Danny and his two friends dashed from the school as soon at the bell rang. In hindsight, that would very likely only fuel the gossip. Eh, worry about that later. Team Phantom met up with Timmy at his school, with lots of the kids cheerfully greeted the halfa, who returned fist bumps, waves, and engaged in conversation. Danny had, in someway, become quite popular with Timmy's peers; the kids thought the nice teenager was cool and fun to be around.
"So Vlad's the one funding the schools' trip?" Tucker asked as the teens, Timmy, and his fairies walked to the outskirts of town.
"Wait, you guys don't know?"
"That information hasn't been announced in our school yet. The Fruitloop probably did that on purpose," Danny grumbled.
"Well now we know he's up to something, so we can now keep an eye on him."
"Sam's right, we can- hey, why are we headed to the dump?" Tucker asked. The teens now noticed the sign for the Dimmsdale dump.
"There's a friend I want you guys to meet and possibly help." Timmy explained.
"Your friend lives here, in the-"
"Who's this friend of yours?" Danny asked, cutting off Tucker.
Timmy only smirked, "You'll see..." he said cryptically as he skipped ahead. The trio briefly exchanged questioning looks before following the small boy. They rounded a large pile of old, flattened cars, the figure of the Yugopotamian ship coming into view. The three friends gaped at the sight. "Is that-"
"UAAARRRGH!" The alien came out of his hiding place, causing the teens to jump.
"Team Phantom, I want to introduce you to Mark Chang; the Yugopotamian alien prince and my friend."
"Puny HUMANS... sup!" Mark did a lucid mock salute.
"Mark; this is Danny, Cosmo and Wanda's son and superhero, and his friends Sam and Tucker."
Sam gaped at the new arrival. Danny blinked, not quite registering what was happening. Tucker, after taking his glasses off to clean them, gave the alien a look. "Wait, your saying-"
"OH MY GOSH! AN ALIEN?!" Danny, finally snapping out of his shock, raced up to Mark with a child's excitement of Christmas, Halloween, birthday, and summer vacation combined. "YOU'RE REALLY AN ALIEN, THAT'S SO COOL!"
"Pleasure to meet the friends of the earth warrior Turner," Mark said, extending three of his tentacles to shake hands with the teens.
'So cool...' Danny thought gleefully to himself. "So Timmy, you were saying that there was other trouble?"
"Mark here is hiding from a crazed alien who wants to marry him."
"I am a prince, and my parents wanted me to wed the Boudacian princess Mandie, which is totally not cool," Mark explained. "So I'm like 'I can't do this! Laters!' and bail. Mandie then goes totally ballistic and comes after me and tries to either make me marry her or kill me. It was a plot to, like, take over my planet and we totally foiled it. Now she's back, so I've been hiding here so I don't get vaporized."
"So," Danny surmised, "you're hiding out here so you don't get wasted-"
"Or worse, Married!" Cosmo interjected.
"Turner has said you're a hero of your domain called Amity Park," Mark looked over Danny.
Danny smirked, transforming into his hero persona. "Danny Phantom, at your service. I have a plethora of powers including flight, invisiblity, intangiblity, and-" he fired an ectoblast at a nearby car, obliterating it. "-ectoblasts just to name a few." Danny then reverts back.
"That is quite impressive Phantom, warrior of Amity Park!" Mark said cheerfully, "I'm quite glad to be allies and friends. We should totally hang out!"
Danny smiled, "We should definitely hang out. But first things first. This Mandy-"
"It's ManDIE, as in-" Timmy slid a finger across his neck, making slashing noises to emphasize.
"Okay, so she's definitely bad news. How dangerous can she be?"
"Oh, she's downright scary with the shooting plasma, flaming hair, dangerous weapons, ability to grow sharp claws, and super strength. It's either that or we get wed. I mean, how can I? She's hideous!" Mark pulls out the photo of the warrior princess making a flirty smile.
"Woah!" Both teen boys had interested looks, much to the goth's displeasure.
Cosmo looked like he was about to break down in some way. Wanda, writing furiously on an index card, hands her husband the card. "Read it..."
"Oh wow. She sure is hideous. I would hate it if I had to spend time with her." Cosmo read, then taking the hand of his smug wife. Danny and Timmy snickered.
Tucker practically drooled over the photo, "are you kidding? She's a babe! Probably just needs some Foley charm~"
Sam scowled, "I agree with Mark here. Totally hideous."
"Of course you'd think that Sam."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Guys, focus!" Timmy called out. "So yeah, Mark is hiding from Mandie here and I just thought that you guys could help protect him. In fact, he'll be with my school when we are doing the buddy project. He has this cool belt that can disguise his appearance."
To demonstrate, Mark twisted a dial on the belt around his middle. His appearance changes to his human child disguise.
"Wow, now that's so cool! Did you bring that and other cool gizmos with you from your planet?" Danny now started his tirade of questions. "How far away is your world from ours? How's the ecosystem of your world compared to Earth? That's your ship? How fast can it go?" The others chuckled at Danny's exuberance.
"*sigh* What a happy, little space nerd. He reminds me of Terence."
"Some things never change," Wanda said, watching her son wistfully.
Sam smirked, "this sounds like school earlier. Everyone heard how Danny was found in a spaceship like pod by Mr. and Mrs. Fenton and now everyone thinks he's an alien or something."
"I heard some of the computer lad nerds theorizing that Danny may be the next Superman." Tucker snickered.
Danny turned to his friends, eyebrows raised inquisitively. "I'm not Superman-"
"C'mon, you're practically from another world, have powers-"
"Superman's powers are natural; he already had them. I got mine in a lab accident."
"Doesn't matter. You also wear your logo like Superman and at one point a cape, you both have ultra rich archenemies-"
"Not to mention a green space rock is your weakness," Sam added in.
"I knew our son was a fairy Superman!"
"Guys, I'm not Superman."
"Too late Bud, I'm convinced."
"I full-heartedly agree with the human with eye shielders," Mark piped in.
Just as Danny was about to retort, a wisp of blue mist escaped his lips.
"Behold! The mighty jump cut!"
Vlad's lab, underneath his mansion
Clicks of a keyboard echoed through the lab, the only sound to slice the silence. Vlad studied the screen in front of him.
"You summoned me?" A deep voice, accompanied with a chill, emanated behind Vlad.
"Yes Fright Knight," Vlad swiveled in his chair to face the ghostly knight, "You are quite knowledgeable on matters pertaining to beings and relics of supernatural and magical origins. Am I correct in this assumption?"
"Yes, I was trained in the studies and rituals of beings that are now considered myth when I was but a squire."
"How hard would it be to destroy a magic relic?"
If Fright Knight's face could be seen, one could see his face twist into inquisition. "That would depend on the item and its power. Magic and its uses are bond by laws, much like how your 'physics' when it comes to science. Lesser items could be destroyed easily, its energy dissipating for balance. More powerful artifacts and relics can't simply be destroyed. Some well known artifacts have the defense mechanism of simply reforming in another location, changing its appearance at it reforms."
"What would be a good way to learn the location of such relics?"
"There are many methods, some more accurate and reliable than others. There are various beings, items, and rituals that have power of divination."
"Excellent."
"Huzzah, the jump cut returns!"
"Why's he here?!"
"MUAHAHAHAHAHA! YES, RUN LITTLE HUMANS! FOR I WILL TAKE OVER THIS CITY AND SOON THE WORLD THROUGH ITS TECHNOLOGY WITHOUT THE MEDDLING OF PHANTOM! AND I WILL SUCCEED BECAUSE I AM TECHNUS: MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY AND ALL THINGS BEEPING!"
"Never mind..." Team Phantom, Timmy, and his fairies (safely stowed away as pennies in his pocket) watched as the robot constructed with stolen tech rampaged through the streets of downtown. Technus' face could be seen on the large flatscreen TV on the torso. People scattered from the tech ghost, screaming in fear. Danny ran off to find a place to transform, followed by Sam and Tucker. Timmy, while finding a place for cover behind a car, ran into Chester, AJ, Sanjay, and Elmer.
"Timmy, do you see the giant robot?!" Sanjay excitedly pointed at the mayhem.
"Guys, we need to move to a safer-" Suddenly the car was picked up and tossed aside by the robot, exposing the boys.
"That would be so cool if it wasn't going to squish us..." Chester muttered.
"YES, QUIVER IN FEAR BEFORE THE-"
"Hey, Rusty Brain! I'm not seeing any licensing on that vehicle of yours!" A blur of black and white slammed into the robot, causing it to stumble back. The ghost sneered at the aggressor, a familiar ghostly hero.
"GHOST CHILD!"
"At your service!" Danny Phantom remarked, launching a barrage of ectoblasts at his opponent. The boys scrambled to a new hiding spot, further away but with a good view. They watched in awe as Phantom dodged and attacked the robot.
"No way! Danny Phantom? Here?!"
Phantom threw up a shield to deflect a blast back at Technus.
"He's so cool!"
He then flew in and delivered a roundhouse kick, sending the robot flying backwards. Seeing his opponent stunned, Phantom flew into the robot, coming back out with the tech ghost. Technus quivered with rage.
"YOU CANNOT STOP ME! FOR I AM TECHNUS-"
"Master of long winded speeches!" Danny interjected. He tossed the ghost into the air, whipped out the thermos and sucked him in with its blue beams. "Seriously, you're just as annoying as the Box Ghost!"
"WOOO!" Came cheers as people came out of hiding now the danger was passed.
"Glad to see no one's hurt. Have a good day everyone!" With that, Phantom flew away. A few minutes later, Timmy spotted Danny and his friends sprinting towards them.
"Hey Danny, we're over here!" Timmy waved them over.
"Are you guys alright?" Danny asked. The kids nodded their heads in excitement.
"Did you see Phantom? He just took out that robot!" AJ exclaimed.
"It was the coolest thing I seen in my life!" Elmer gushed.
While most of the small boys chatted excitedly, Chester looked at Danny in puzzlement. "Weird... You and Phantom look exactly alike." The trio and Timmy froze. "You both even have the same first name..."
AJ scoffed. "Chester, there's no way Danny is Phantom."
"They're nothing alike!"
"Yeah, I can't possibly be Phantom. He's a ghost." Danny chuckled nervously, his friends nodding in agreement.
Chester seemed to waver in his observation. "Yeah, you guys are probably right..."
...
Later that day
After some chatting with Timmy's friends, Team Phantom and Timmy teleported to FentonWorks. Fortunately for the kids, the Fenton parents were out. Jazz joined them and they explained what they had learned and discussed what was to be done.
Danny frowned. "What I would really like to know is what the Fruitloop is up to, instead of him being one step ahead."
"Maybe Tucker can hack into his lab." Sam suggested. The then grinned evilly. "His PDA has got to be good for something besides making out with it."
"Okay. First: I can try to see what I can get from Vlad's computers. Second: Hey, I do NOT make out with my PDAs!"
"You even named them girl names, Tuck." Danny pointed out, a smirk on his face. "Isn't this recent one named Qwen?"
"Actually, it's Nancy and- Hey!"
"Well we can't know for certain what Vlad is after. What we can do is keep our heads. Just keep an eye out and gather clues," Jazz offered, effectively bringing the conversation back. After a few more minutes of planning, Jazz ducked into the kitchen to grab snacks. Just as things looked like they were settling, a miniature explosion appeared in the living room in between Danny with Timmy and the fairies and Sam with Tucker. Emerging from the mushroom cloud explosion was the towering bulk of Jorgen Von Strangle, his face covered in glitter. He faced the fairies, Danny, and Timmy. Sam and Tucker were behind him.
"Cosmo and Wanda: You and your son have been summoned to the Fairy court. There has been some concerns about Daniel's safety in this human shack. You are to all come IMMEDIATELY!" He waved his wand by a wall, opening a portal. Thrusting out a hand, Jorgen grabbed a fistful of Danny's shirt and tossed the teen into the portal, which closed shut. Striking his wand to the ground, He then teleported the fairy couple, Timmy, and himself away.
"DANNY!" Sam and Tucker cried out. Jazz came running out of the kitchen, having heard everything.
"That's the Von Strangle dude?! Danny wasn't joking about the looking like he can bench press a tank." Tucker whimpered.
"Concerns about Danny's safety... I bet that Mama Cosma had something to do with that court summons!" Jazz mused.
"Of course she'll do something like that," Sam grumbled darkly. She grabbed Tucker and Jazz by their wrists and dragged them to the lab. "Well not if WE have anything to say about it!"
...~~~oOo~~~...
"Fairy Court?! Uh oh..."
Uh oh indeed.
"Chester is seeming to be clueing in on Danny's identity. Wait, how is it he's the one that is noticing but everyone else can't put it together?"
There's a good explanation on why nobody is able to solve Danny's identity coming up.
"Oooh..."
Now there are some references. Chester's comment during the fight with Technus if from Kim Possible.
"gotta love Ron Stoppable. It's the 'Ron Factor'."
Second, I'm and I will be cross-referencing from several different books concerning magical creatures and how magic works. I'm getting a lot of inspiration from the 'Fablehaven' books for this bit. In fact, I'm planning a crossover between Danny Phantom and Fablehaven.
"That sounds cool! any other story ideas?"
There is 'First Flight': Danny and friends' reactions on their first trips through the air, 'Phantom Planet: the lost files': I feel that this could have been written better, so I'll be adding to this episode, and 'The travels of Dani Phantom': a description of Dani's adventures and who she meets (so many crossovers). These are some of the story ideas that I have.
"Cool."
Now I hope you all have a great week!
"Goodbye! I have to go rearrange my sock collection, feed my pet fish 'Bottomless', polish off that piece of Chocolate-marshmallow cake, Vacuum my sister, help Pinkie Pie with her party cannon..."
