Time For Studying?

Hello and welcome back to another chapter and sorry for just suddenly updating and deleting chpt. 4. I wanted to go around the other chapters and tidy it up a bit. While also removing the whole Uzumaki kids being kidnapped and Naruto saving them. So, I removed since someone made a good point. They said that their relationship was just built on guilt and feeling bad for Naruto. So, I'd rectified that and changed it where that didn't happen. Now let's get onto review! Also, this story is still going strong! I'm just taking my time with this story.

Last Chapter

Scene Shift 4 Hours Later

Naruto wearing a suit places a ring on the top of the casket that held his mother. Naruko and Kasumi silently holding each other. Naruto already gave the two the rings with their family picture inside of the gem. Naruto had three made, one for their mother, and two for Naruko and Kasumi. Naruto held his bracelet, he didn't cry, he didn't react. That dream he had last night, only confirmed his reason for supporting Naruko and Kasumi more. Whatever it was, it was something that made him feel different. Naruto looked into the sky, "I promise… Kaa-san… Tou-san… Obito-Ji-san… I won't run away again. I'll face whatever comes ahead of me, I got f-friends now to help me through this. Give me strength, strength to help Naruko and Kasumi as well." Naruto knew off to the corner he saw the Nakano siblings standing there with their father attending the funeral. The father was told everything by his daughters. He was disappointed in them, but he told them to take responsibility for their actions. Thus, the girls told him that they would study harder and do better. Their father rehired Naruto and allowed him to continue tutoring his daughters. He was okay with Naruto, as much of a delinquent he looked and acted. He was good deep down, a good man, protective, strong, and very smart. He wouldn't mind having him as his son-in-law, he knows his wife Rena would also approve.

This Chapter

A few days passed since the wake for Kushina. She was later lowered into the ground next to her beloved husband Minato who patiently waited for his wife. The three remaining Uzumaki/Namikazes mourned and grieved for their families. With also swift justice that was soon to follow. A group of Yakuza gang members were found behind this and thrown in jail. They were sentenced up to fifty to eight years in jail, with no chance at parole.

This lifted off a heavyweight off Naruto's shoulders, the sudden death of their mother caused some psychological issues for Naruto. He was currently seeing a psychologist to help him get back on the right track.

Ironically, he was told to make friends and maybe find a girlfriend. His emotions were unstable and quick to change. It was none other than a case of Bi-polar which can be helped. This is known as Cyclothymia. Also called cyclothymic disorder. This is a rare mood disorder. Cyclothymia causes emotional ups and downs, but they're not as extreme as those in bipolar I or II disorder. With cyclothymia, you experience periods when your mood noticeably shifts up and down from your baseline. You may feel on top of the world for a time, followed by a low period when you feel somewhat down. Between these cyclothymic highs and lows, you may feel stable and fine.

Due to the movie, Kasumi was shooting, she got to stay home from work for a while. Thankfully she was rehearsing for a performance in about four months' time along with the movie she is a part of. So, Kasumi was going to be able to help take care of Naruko and Naruto.

Though Kasumi was going to leave some of that to the Nakano sisters. Kasumi and Naruko know that Naruto will end up with one of them.

Or maybe even all of them.

Anyways, Naruto found himself in a rather peculiar situation. He just arrived at the Nakano residence for dinner. However, he spent the majority of the days out and about with Naruko and Kasumi. Since the two wanted to spend some time with Naruto before he went to the Nakano residence.

Naruto begrudgingly made his way over underneath the blazing hot sun. Naruto was sweating up a storm and his shirt was currently see-through. Naruto, wish he hadn't worn this shirt, but it was his favorite shirt too. It was a plain white T-Shirt with a bowl of ramen at the center of the shirt. Naruto made his way into the building where the wave of cool A.C hit him in the face, "Ohhh my kami-sama! This feels sooo deserved right now." Naruto entered the elevator and hit the button for the top floor.

Naruto rested up against the wall of the elevator and waited until it came to a stop. Naruto walked out and knocked on the door for the Nakano residence. The door opened with Nino opening the door, "Hey Naruto you're here…" Nino's nose caught the smell coming off of Naruto. Nino plugged her nose, but she also began to blush. Nino was disgusted by the smell coming off Naruto. However, also entranced by the way his shirt was see-through. She could make out his toned chest, chiseled abs, toned biceps. Then Nino quickly began to shake her head, "Pull it together Nino Nakano!" "Uhhh… would you like to borrow our bath perhaps… you kinda smell."

Naruto looked down at himself and chuckled rubbing the back of his head, "Sure if you don't mind… thanks…" Naruto walked in and made his way towards the bathroom.

Nino came walking in and placed clothes on the cubby, "These are clothes from our Tou-san, we never got rid of them even after moving. So, I guess you can borrow them, we'll wash your other clothes."

Naruto nodded his head at her and said, "Thanks, Nino." Naruto turned to undress, and Nino began to blush again quickly speed walking out of the room with Naruto's clothes. Naruto made his way into the shower and cleaned himself. Once done he then went into the tub to relax for a moment. Naruto rested his head against the back of the tuba and closed his eyes, "Girlfriend… never put that much thought into that before. Not only that but he asked if I was friends with the Nakano sisters…" Naruto's psychologist did ask Naruto about his relationship with them. Not only that but the psychologist wanted to know if he even had any friends. The only "friends" he could really mention were the Nakano sister. Well, mostly Miku, Ichika, and Yotsuba. Maybe Itsuki and Nino now that they had their differences settled out, "Why tell me to look for a relationship with one of them. I mean… can any of them actually like me?" Naruto sat up to look at his reflection in the water.

With Nino

Nino forgot to give Naruto a change of underwear and placed it on the cubby. Nino walked up to the door of the bathroom. She was going to tell him she left him underwear too, but she heard him mumble, "Girlfriend… I never put that much thought into that before." Nino stopped before she said anything, she heard Naruto shuffle a bit in the water. He then said, "Why tell me to look for a relationship with one of them. I mean… can any of them actually like me?"

Nino placed a finger up to her mouth and gently bit her nail, "Who told him this? Is he talking about his psychologist? I mean it makes sense since he told us he went to go see one yesterday." Nino waited a few moments and then knocked on the door, "Hey Naruto, I forgot to leave you some underwear. So, I placed it by the change of clothes I left ya."

Naruto shook his head to stop thinking about that and replied with, "Thanks, Nino! Tell the others I'll be out soon!"

"Will do." Nino turned and a smirk appeared on her face, "I wonder… if he would give me a chance… if there is any real competition between us. It would be me versus Miku, who also seems to have her sights set on him." Nino quickly walked out of the bathroom to join her sisters in finishing up the game Life.

With the Nakano Sisters

Nino rejoined everyone and sat back down, and Nino said, "He'll be out soon so let's finish this game up." Nino wanted to stay quiet, she didn't want the others to get any ideas.

Though Ichika noticed her change in behavior, "Something wrong Nino?"

"N-No! Nothing let's just finish up and get our materials ready for studying!" Nino flicked some of her hair behind her trying to ignore Ichika's question.

Soon Naruto came walking out with an ever so tight nightshirt. It was a dark blue button-up with a pair of dark blue shorts. Naruto had to keep a few buttons near the collar unbuttoned, otherwise, it would have broke. That's because Naruto's chest was much bigger than Mr. Nakano's chest was, "Alright let's begin."

As soon as Naruto said that Ichika shot her hand into the air and then pointed at her book, "Naruto-sensei! I have a question!"

Naruto walked over to Miku, and since Miku was sitting next to Ichika Naruto could get through. So Naruto knelt down next to Miku to gaze over at the book from Miku's right, "Which one is it?"

Flashback *When Nino went to give Naruto the change of clothes* *With Itsuki, Ichika, and Yotsuba*

"Uzumaki-san has been in the bath for a while." Yotsuba commented while sitting at the coffee table with her other three sisters.

Ichika smirked raising a hand in the air, "I'm sure he's savoring the water that five beautiful girls bathed in.

Miku mumbled out, "Bath…" which Miku intended to keep quiet.

Itsuki blushed a bit surprised by Miku's words, but then Ichika leaned in smirking, "Want to go get him?" Miku blushed as she began to shake her head 'No'. Ichika was happy for her sister as she smiled, "You might as well make a move on him while he's here."

Miku trying to keep up the façade look to her right staring at the window towards the balcony outside, "I don't know what you're talking about."

End of Flashback

Ichika smirked when Naruto got close to Miku, "Okay! Time to scooch over!" Ichika purposely shoved herself into Miku so she would go flying into Naruto's hold.

Naruto was taken back by this along with Miku which her face landed on his chest. Naruto was able to stop himself from falling and he said, "H-Hey!" Naruto looked at Ichika confused.

Nino took note of what Ichika just did and Miku too. Ichika crossed her arms under her bust and said, "Miku says she needs help with something too."

Miku, blushing, got off Naruto and got up in her face, "Ichika!" Ichika knew Miku wasn't happy about what she just did.

Naruto placed a hand on his forehead and rubbed it, "Okay… just ask away. I don't think me needing to read the question is all that important."

Just then Yotsuba shot her hand in the air, "I got a question! What's a synonym for "Argument"?"

"That would be a debate, that will be on the exam." Naruto turned to Ichika, Nino, Miku, and Itsuki, "So make sure to make some flashcards and remember that word, Debate."

Couple Hours Later

Since it was late at night Naruto was asked to spend the night again this time, he was offered Miku's room while she slept in Ichika's room. Naruto wanted to argue and say he'll just sleep on the couch, but Miku wouldn't have any of it. So, Naruto found himself asleep in Miku's bed and sighed. He closed his eyes and decided to let sleep claim him.

Morning

Naruto slowly opened his eyes and looked at the ceiling, "That's right I'm in the Nakano residence…Well I probably should get up." turned to his right but froze. Naruto found Miku laying in bed next to him. Not only that but noticed how her blue pajama shirt was revealing her cleavage. He looked up to see a peacefully sleeping Miku snuggled into his side with one arm over his chest. "S-so warm." Miku mumbled in her sleep as she snuggled deeper into Naruto's side. Naruto always knew he had a higher body temp than normal. Thus, helped him when or if he ever got sick. He has only gotten since once or twice in his entire life.

Though… WHAT THE HELL WAS HE SUPPOSED TO DO NOW!

With the other Nakano Sisters

Itsuki, Ichika, and Nino were sitting at the table and Itsuki said, "I don't see you up this early very often, Ichika." Itsuki said cutting into her sunnyside-up egg.

Ichika giggled a bit, "Although I'm still the last one of the five of us." Ichika went to take another bite but also remembered last night too, "I don't know when Miku left the bed either."

Nino chimed in saying, "Yotsuba went looking for Miku and hasn't come back, too."

"Well, we were up late last night studying. It seems Naruto is still asleep." Itsuki let a low sigh out, good thing today was only Sunday.

"I'm glad he at least stayed over…" Nino placed her cup of tea down and let a sigh out, "I'm glad things are different now… thought studying is still much to be desired." Nino comically had a puff of air come out of her mouth.

"Well, Naruto doesn't make studying boring though. It's actually pretty fun." Ichika add as a smile graced her face.

"Well even if we're different Naruto and I can get along. Besides studying under Naruto won't be easy. I'm not like you or Miku, Ichika." Itsuki said with a dejected look on her face.

Ichika looked at Itsuki confused, but then an idea came to her head, "I know!" Ichika got up and walked over to Itsuki and began to mess with her hair, "Put your hair to the other side like this, and…" Ichika parted her hands off of Itsuki's face and said, "Ta-da! We made a Miku."

Itsuki closed her eyes with a serious look on her face, "I'm being serious here."

Ichika giggled and laughed, "Sorry, sorry. It's a quintuplet joke."

Just then Nino stood up, "Ichika! You parted her hair the wrong way." Nino walked over behind Itsuki and next to Ichika, "Also, Itsuki, make a sleepier face." Nino placed a hand on top of Itsuki's head pushing down he ahoge, "We don't need this cowlick."
Itsuki was getting frustrated and shouted, "Please stop toying with me!"

Ichika smirked at a fun prank, "Hey, Miku isn't here right now, so let's see if we can fool him."

"R-Really?" Nino looked at Ichika with a surprised look on her face. Then Nino smiled, "then we have t get her changed then."

"Umm." Itsuki said not too sure about the idea of this.
"It's okay, there's no way Naruto can tell us apart." Ichika smirked reassuring Itsuki and Nino.

With Naruto

Naruto was feeling panicked and unsure of what to do, "What is Miku doing sleeping in my bed! I know it's her… her aura reminds of Miku. Yes, I'm positive it's her, but why is she in here! I thought she was with Ichika! Unless she woke up in the middle of the night. To use the bathroom and accidentally came back in here." Naruto shot his head towards the door, "This is going to suck trying to explain this." Naruto looked at the person sleeping in the room, and he can confirm it's Miku. First Naruto could tell by Miku's relaxed and laid-back chakra while also her outfit too. Miku was wearing dark blue pajamas when they went to bed.

Though, Naruto couldn't help but also appreciate her physical appearance. She was beautiful, just like her other sisters.

Naruto slowly got out of bed and made his way towards the door. He opened it and walked outside. Naruto turned his head to make sure he closed the door. He then turned around to the front to see another Miku standing in front of him. Naruto froze for a second confused about the appearance. So, he quickly reached his senses out, but then it hit him. Naruto let a sigh out as he placed his hand on the back of his head. Naruto also noticed the pajamas Itsuki was wearing, "Itsuki what are you doing dressed up like Miku?"

Itsuki hung her head a bit and chuckled, "S-So you can tell us apart huh?" Itsuki was internally happy about that.

"Yeah… but can you guys also explain why Miku went back into her room last night. Even though I was sleeping there." Naruto pointed back into the room with his thumb, "I also just woke up to find her there. So, you girls can ask her." Naruto went downstairs and into the laundry room to grab his original clothes he came in. "

"Miku what!" Itsuki's face began to blush red and Ichika and Nino heard this as well.

"Well… she certainly moves quickly." Ichika chuckled with a smug look appearing on her face.

"W-what! S-She was sleeping with Naruto?!" Nino shot from her seat and towards Miku's room. Nino ran up to Miku's room to find Miku sleeping in the room. Nino looked at Naruto with a blush on her face, but one with also jealousy, "M-Miku! I-I'd call you a hentai, but you weren't at fault! Miku she can be so oblivious at times!"

Miku sat up as she rubbed her head, "W-why are you guys so loud, be quieter." Miku looked at her sisters with annoyance on her face.

Ichika giggled as she peeked in the doorway, "Ara, Miku already making moves on Naruto-kun, joining him in bed last night."

When Ichika finished the sentence Miku's eyes widen as her face turned beat red. Naruto only scratched his cheek not really knowing what to say, "Well… how about we head towards the library to study?"

Ichika nodded her head, "That's a great idea! It be a great change of pace!" Ichika pulled her phone out, "Let's get ready girls, I'll let Yotsuba know."

When everyone was getting ready to leave Miku was the last one to leave along with Naruto. Naruto was going to leave but Miku called out to him, "Naruto." Naruto turned his head as Miku called for him.

Naruto swallowed a bit, "Y-Yeah what's up Miku?" Naruto asked hoping she wouldn't ask about last night.

Miku's hands came up in front of her as she poked them together, "Um… about last night. I-I'm sorry for seeking back into the bed. I forgot you were sleeping over last night. I hope I didn't make you feel uncomfortable."

Naruto chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head, "It's okay, it is your room and I assume you were tired. You probably weren't fully aware of what you were doing. It's okay though." Naruto gave her a smile as he patted her head, "I'm used to sleeping with another in the bed. Kasumi and Naruko, when we were younger would sneak into my bed. Naruko does it occasionally here and there, so don't sweat it so much." Naruto gestured Miku to follow him as he waved his hand to her, "Come on the others are waiting let's go." Miku simply nodded her head and trotted with the rest of everyone else to the library.

Time Skip Day before Exams *Friday*

Naruto sat up from his sleep on the ground with a blanket. He turned his head to find the Nakano quintuplets sleeping around the table, coffee table, or on the couch covered in blankets. Naruto smiled as he looked at them sleeping, "They all worked pretty hard this week…" Naruto smiles thinking back to his psychiatrist from the other day. Shizune Kato told him to find more than just companionship from a girl. Though it worried Naruto a little bit in thinking about a girlfriend.

He even told Shizune, that he was worried about breaking their hearts. That's if he chose one over another, it would devastate them. That's even if he can really develop any feelings for any of them.

Just then Itsuki began to wake up as Naruto checked the time. He looked up at the clock and froze, "Uhhh Itsuki."

Itsuki stretched and rubbed her head, "Yeah what is it?"

"Our school's repotting time is 8:30, right?" Naruto pointed at the clock with a twitch below his right eye.

"That's right." Itsuki turned her head to see Naruto walking up to the clock, "And exams start fifteen minutes after that."

Naruto turned to Itsuki and said, "Any chance that clock's broken?"
Itsuki looked at the clock and said, "Uhh… OH MY KAMI-SAMA!"

Scene Shift School

Naruto and the others found themselves running with Naruto and Yotsuba taking the lead, "Come on guys hurry up! Otherwise, we'll be late!" Naruto began to speed up unconsciously not wanting to be late for the exams. The others couldn't believe that this nerdy scholar is this athletic.

The group ran and had to make a few pit stops but everyone made it. Naruto and the others saw the guidance teacher waiting at the front door, "Come on let's go I'm sure he'll let us go." Naruto got out from the bushes, "Yo." Naruto held his hand up.

"Oh, Uzumaki-san why are you late of all people?" The guidance teacher was surprised to see Naruto of all people late.

"Yeah, I was helping from friends cram study so we're a bit late. Think you can let us off the hook this time Shin-sensei?" Naruto scratched the back of his head.

Shin nodded his head, "Alright you and your friends can go. Just sit down before the exam begins."

"Thanks, Shin-sensei!" Naruto and the girls ran inside towards their classes for exams. Naruto turned to the girls, "Believe in the effort you put in for yourselves. I know you'll all do just fine."

Miku's eyebrows narrowed putting both of her hands up ready, "We can do it."

Ichika smirked holding up her right hand, "Come on everyone let's get good grades! That way we can surprise Naruto-kun!"

Just the Yotsuba grabbed Nino's hands, "You too Nino!"

"I'll do my best!" Nino said with her own confident smirk.

"Alright let's go!" Itsuki said pumping herself up. The Nakano Quintuplets intertwined their thumbs and pink fingers to form a star.

"YEAH!" They all shouted together as they ran towards their respective classrooms.

Naruto felt moved by the five as they went off towards their classroom. Naruto just knowing that the girls were going to take him seriously. Along with him being able to repair his relationship with the quintuplets. The last thing he wanted was to tear them apart. "Well, I better get going too." Naruto put his hands in his pockets and he heard the words of his departed mother, "Be well my son, I can't wait for you to tell us about our grandchildren. *****/**** well." For whatever reason it was, he couldn't remember the last few words. Though he swore he heard his mother say two different things at once.

In the Exam Rooms *With Miku*

Miku was sitting in her social studies class taking her midterm. Miku looked at her paper with a determined look on her face, "So many different questions. Though, this is where I dominate! This is my domain!" Miku thought back to what Naruto first told her. That she was unique and her own person. Along with the Nakano Quintuplets so set that if one of them can do one thing. So could the other! That also meant acing this exam! Miku even smiled a bit thinking, "I wonder what Naruto-kun would think if I got a better grade than him."

Miku liked that challenge, so, in the middle of that exam. Right there and then she challenged him. Without Naruto even knowing Miku declared it.

With Yotsuba

Yotsuba was taking her Japanese mid-term, with her eyes closed and her arms crossed over her chest. She was thinking hard about the exam and what to write. Yotsuba shot her eyes open and let fate take hold, "For multiple-choice questions with five answers, the fourth one's often right."

Not exactly what Naruto taught her, but as long as she has confidence right?

With Nino

Nino was going over her English mid-term and was deep in thought, "A synonym for argument…" Nino decided to go to the next, but then remembered Naruto's words echo in her mind, ""That would be a debate, that will be on the exam." With Ichika

Ichika had her head on the desk relaxing after taking her math exam, "Done. I think that about does it. Goodnight." Just then she opened her eyes and she pictured Naruto in her head. Ichika blushed a bit and mentally said, "I guess I can check over my equations."

With Itsuki

Itsuki was going over her science exam, "I won't let you quit like that Naruto… though it's not for you. It's for Naruko-chan's sake! And Kasumi-chan's too!" Even though Naruto was rehired the dad did tell Naruto that if his daughters failed again. That he would have Naruto fired, regardless of their situation.

Itsuki and Naruto didn't know it, but Jiraiya has been in touch with Mr. Nakano. Naruto needed someone to help push him in the right direction.

Itsuki's eyes wandered over to where Naruto was sitting in front of her, "Also… maybe to try his cooking one day. Naruko-chan did praise it." Itsuki found her mouth-watering and her face blushing.

With Naruto

Naruto finished his science exam and folded his hands in front. Naruto thought to himself, "I believe in each and every one of you. You all may be quintuplets, but you have your own personalities, likes, dislikes, hobbies, and ideas. If you guys say and praise yourselves for being able to do the same thing another can do. Then show it, show me that you girls can do it. I believe in each and every one of you."

Time Skip May 25th

Naruto met the girls at the library and stood in front of them. He had a smile on his face, "Hey, I'm glad you all could make it. I'm sure you all did well."

Ichika moved her eyes to look at Naruto and said, "Huh? Why so formal?"

Then Miku spoke up, "The midterm results… Can you teach us the parts we got wrong?"

"Of course, I'd be happy to." Naruto did feel the pit in his stomach, but he had to believe in them, "But first, let's see your results."

"Sure!" Ichika held her hand up ready to show Naruto.

Just then Itsuki said, "I would not like to!" Itsuki said as his face was turning red, "It's personal information. I absolutely refuse."

"Itsuki-chan?" Ichika looked at Itsuki worried and confused, she thought they got over all this.

Naruto closed his eyes and let a sigh out. He smiled as he rubbed the back of his head, "It's okay, I'm prepared, though. I hope this doesn't mean we can't be friends. I feel like I was just beginning to get to know you all better. So, tell me how it went."

Yotsuba raises her hand, "I'll go first!" Yotsuba held up her scorecard, "Ta-da! I guessed right on Japanese and scored a 30. I've never gotten such grades before!"

Yotsuba got a 30 in Japanese, 9 in math, 18 in science, 22 in social studies, and English 16. 95 in total.

Next was Miku, "I got a 68 in social studies. I just barely failed the rest. Sucks."

Miku scored a 25 in Japanese, 29 in math, 27 in science, 68 in social studies, and 13 in English. For a total of 162.

Ichika went up next, "All I got was a 39 in math. I think that's the best I can do for now."

Ichika got a 19 in Japanese, 39 in math, 26 in science, 15 in social studies, and 28 in English. For a total of 127.

Nino crossed her arms and looked the other way, "I failed Japanese, math, science, and social studies. Just so you know I was trying my best."

Nino got a 15 in Japanese, 19 in math, 28 in science, 14 in social studies, and 43 in English. For a total of 119.

Finally, was Itsuki, "Unfortunately, the science exam was the only one I passed, with a 56." Itsuki had a dejected and annoyed look on her face.

Itsuki got a 27 in Japanese, 22 in math, 56 in science, 20 in social studies, and 23 in English. For a total of 148.

"I see." Naruto rubbed his chin as he chuckled, and the girls all walked over standing together. Naruto smiled, "I do see one thing, you each passed different subjects differently. One of you scored higher than the other." Naruto smiled as he looked at the girls, "You all have improved greatly." Naruto turned his head to Miku and walked closer to the girls but more directly aimed at Miku, "Miku. Getting a 68 on an exam as hard as this one is impressive, even your scores are lopsided. You should be confident in teaching your sisters what you know." Naruto turned to the other girls, "That goes for all of you too. Nino, you're great with English, Ichika you're awesome with Math, Yotsuba Japanese, and finally Itsuki with science. Miku once told me you each one of you makes up 1/5th of a whole. When you put yourselves together and helping one another. You guys make up a whole, I have no doubt you guys can improve your grades and do better." Naruto placed his hands on his hips.

Naruto smiled looking at all of them, "Even though I won't be coming anymore, I hope we can all still hang out and be friends. Truthfully, you guys have been really the only friends I've ever had." Naruto scratched his cheek as he gave them all a smile that resembled that of a fox.

Just then Itsuki felt her phone buzz and pulled it out, "It's our Tou-san." Itsuki handed the phone to Naruto with a worried look on her face.

Naruto took the phone and answered it, "Hello? It's Uzumaki here."

The voice over the phone said, "You were with Itsuki-kun, huh? I thought I'd ask them to each individually, but let's hear it from you."

"Hai." Naruto replied listening to their father.

"I'll know if you lie." The father added which Naruto knew without a doubt.

Naruto's eyes looked at the phone as he began to scratch his right cheek with his right hand, "I won't lie, that's not who I am. But I'd like to ask you to find them a better tutor. It seems I wasn't cut out of the job after all. Though I do ask…if I can keep being friends with them. I haven't had many friends growing up. I'd hate to lose them."

The girls seemed touched by Naruto's words along with shock. Naruto was straight up telling their father that they didn't do well. The father replied with, "In other words, the exam results…"

Before Naruto could finish, he found the phone snapped away from his hand by Nino. Nino took the phone and said, "Papa. It's me, Nino. Can I ask you something? Why did you give him such a condition?"

The father not surprised by his daughter's comment says, "I have a responsibility as a father, in leaving you to him. I was just testing him to see if he's right for you."

Nino understood what was going on now, "So it was for our sake? Thanks, papa. But we won't know whether he's right for us or not from just our grades." Nino closed her eyes keeping calm about the situation.

The father rebutted and said, "That's the primary metric."

"Fine. Let me tell you, then." Nino opened her eyes and had them move to look at the phone in her hand. She turned to the other girls and shouted, "The five of us together avoided failing all five subjects."

Naruto didn't say anything as he looked at Nino in shock. Not only was she in a sense lying, but it was a half-lie. Looking at the context of what she said, 'The five of us together avoided failing all five subjects.' She was correct in that sense, but individually they failed four subjects, but passed the others, "Is that true?" Their father asked surprised by this. He knew what his daughter said, for her to speak up against him. Must mean that Uzumaki Naruto is just as much as he expected him to be. So, he didn't have a problem letting it slide this time. He wasn't dumb, he just knew his daughter was playing with words.

"I'm not lying." Nino confidentially replied.
"It must be true if you say so, Nino-kun. I expect you to keep up the work with Uzumaki-kun." The father hung up pleased at his daughter's actions. Maybe one of them would end up with him. That would be something he would approve of. As well as Naruto continuing to tutor them.

Naruto rubbed the bridge on his nose between his eyes saying, "Nino… you didn't have to do that, but thank you. But I'm worried about what he might find out."

"Well, I wasn't wrong." Nino turned away with a slight blush on her cheeks, "Besides we ended up deceiving Tou-san." Nino turned to Naruto facing her sisters and placed both hands behind her back. She smiled and tilted her head to the side a bit. Naruto saw like a pink background appears behind Nino. She had her left eye open and her right closed, "You better make sure we pass for real next time."

Naruto removed his hand from his face and smiled back at Nino's words. It made him feel good to hear that everyone seemed to be on board, "I'm sure we can do it, I'll make sure you all pass." Naruto had a smile appear across his face. The five Nakano sisters all seem to stop staring at Naruto for a moment. This was a similar smile they've been wanting to see again.

Miku then looked down with a tint of pink staining her cheeks. She had her hand over her chest as if she was letting a sigh. Itsuki picked up on this and said, "Don't worry he won't be going anywhere any time soon. So we can keep seeing Naruto as our tutor and friend."

Yotsuba threw her hands into the air and smiled, "Yeah! Let's get to reviewing, then."

"Ugh!" Nino flinched worriedly and Ichika placed a hand on Nino's shoulder.

"Yep, I think it would be good to do so." Ichika said making sure Nino wouldn't try to slip away.

Naruto placed a hand on his chin and his other hand under his elbow to support it, "It's most important to study after you get your exam results back." Naruto wrapped his arms around everyone with a bright smile continuing to adorn his face. The five Nakano sisters, specifically Nino and Miku found their cheeks pushed up against his while everyone else was pulled together in Naruto's grasp, "But we don't have to right after. What do you guys call it? A reward, was it? Parfaits?" Naruto blushed as he quickly let go realizing he was getting ahead of himself, "Oops sorry." Naruto sheepishly scratched his cheek, "I was just excited about handing out with friends."

Everyone looked at Naruto surprised a bit with Naruto wanting to hang out. The Nakano's faces all light up and Itsuki giggled a bit, "In that case, I'll have an extra-large!"

The group grabbed all their things and left the library making their way to the sweetshop, "What kind of parfaits do you like Naruto-kun?" Ichika wondered raising an eyebrow.

Naruto replied with, "Ummm I like strawberry parfaits."

Just then Yotsuba got close to Naruto and asked, "Uzumaki-san how did you end up doing on the exam?" Everyone else realized that Naruto never mentioned it and looked at him for his answer.

"Well, I." Just then Yotsuba went into his bookbag, "H-Hey! I didn't say you could!"

Just then Yotsuba yanked it out and said, "Woah! Look at this! All hundreds!"

Naruto sighed as he nodded his head, "I was trying to make you guys focus on your exams. Besides don't worry so much about me. Focus on yourselves." Naruto appreciated that they cared how he did on his exams.

Just the Nino said, "You know Naruto…" Nino skipped forward until she stopped in front of Naruto. She moved her arms behind her back and a tint of pink stained her cheeks. Nino's face turned a bit more red as she felt her heart beat faster. Her eyes began to spin a bit as she barely got out what she wanted to say, "I-I'm sure your Kaa-san and Tou-san w-would be proud of you. What you're doing now for yourself, us, and your Nee-chan and Imouto-chan. So, keep up the hard work." Nino finished with a smile appearing on her face. The other four Nakano sisters looked at Nino a bit taken back by Nino's actions. Then again Miku puffed her cheeks out in annoyance and Ichika giggled as she placed her hand up to her mouth.

That Night Back at Home

Naruto sat down at the kitchen table as he sighed, "I can't believe they barely passed their other classes. Then again, we didn't have much time, but they studied a lot."

Kasumi sighed as she shook her head and pointed her chopsticks at the table, "Mou Naruto how many times do I have to tell you. No studying at the table while eating dinner!" Kasumi scolded her younger brother.

Naruto looked at his big sister giving her a dry look, "Come on Kasumi, I need to get their grades up, besides. I know what I have to do anyway, it doesn't hurt to look over what I need to do."

"Don't be so funny Onii-chan." Naruko giggled as she walked up behind him slapping his back. She had a wide shit-eating grin on her face, "You weren't a very good student in the past either, remember?"

"Not only that but you got into a lot of fights. Then again." Kasumi dropped her head to the side, "Even if you had good intentions, what about all the pranks you pulled?"

"Don't remind me." Naruto shivered a bit, but they were good times. That's when Minato and Kushina were still around.

"They've come around now, haven't they? Small steps now Naruto, besides I've heard from Ero-Sennin that he has been in contact with their father." Kasumi brought some Udon noodles up to her lips and blew on them, "Mr. Nakano has taken quite a liking to you, keep it up." Kasumi then placed the noodles in her mouth and began to swallow the noodles.

"That's good to hear, but even still. I need to keep working and do my best." Naruto lifted up his own pair of chopsticks with five individual Udon noodles on them. Naruto blew on them a bit and then said, "Besides they're pretty close, I know they can do it soon on their own. Besides… we're friends now."

Just then Naruko wrapped her arms around Naruto's neck and pushed her cheek up against Naruto's, "Does Onii-chan like any of them? I mean you are with five beautiful women, aren't you?"

Kasumi giggled knowing where Naruko wanted to take this, "Yeah, you're still a young hormonal teenager with five beauties. I'm sure one of them are bound to ask you to do the dirty."

Naruto knowing where this was going quickly placed Naruko on his lap. He then cupped his hands around her ears, "Come on Kasumi-Nee! Not in front of Naruko! She's too young!"

Kasumi giggled as she leaned in placing her elbows on the table. With her hands resting on her chin as she leaned across the table. Though, making sure she moved her bowl to the side, "Oooo come on Naruto! Tell me! Who has captured my Otouto's heart?"

Naruto could only facepalm, this was going to be a long night.

Scene Shift Nakano Residence

Yotsuba looked down at the table as her hair covered her face like a curtain, "What are these?" Yotsuba asked with curiosity.

"Croquettes." Said the timid Nakano sister hoping Yotsuba and Naruto would like them.

Yes, Naruto found himself sitting at the kitchen table trying Miku's cooking.

The three pieces of food looked like brown pieces of shit. Well, Yotsuba said it nicely and said, "Are you sure they aren't rocks?" Yotsuba was a little cautious of Miku's cooking.

Though Naruto could hear Miku's confidence in her voice, "I'm confident they taste good, though. Try them." Naruto could see it on Miku's hands and face that she did her best on them.

So, who was he to turn them down, "Okay." Yotsuba grabbed one with her chopsticks.

Naruto grabbed one and lifted it up to his mouth. Before he took a bit he said, "Thank you for the food." He then opened wide and took a bit along with Yotsuba who had a calculating look on her face, "It's pretty good, I like it." Miku's face seems to light up with joy.

Just Yotsuba interjected as she looked at him sternly, "It's not that good!"

Naruto rebutted with, "You have a picky taste Yotsuba, for me and my sisters. Regardless of how experienced someone's cooking is. To me, anything tastes good."

Just then Yotsuba said, "Your tastes are just too easy to cater to! And you're too gentle! You need to be honest when something doesn't taste good!"

Naruto sighed as he placed a hand on his forehead and rubbed it, "Yotsuba, it's not on the level of what Nino and Naruko could make. I won't deny it." Naruto looked at Miku and placed a hand on her head, "But I think it was pretty darn good for your first time." Naruto shook his head, "Well let's go ahead and begin to review our exams."

"Wait." Miku called out to Naruto and Yotsuba, and the two looked at her. Miku had a pouting look on her face along with an invisible blue determination aura around her "I'm going to keep making them until they taste perfect. So eat." For whatever reason Naruto had a chill run down his spine and Miku's words alone spoke volumes.

Naruto swore he saw a hint of his mother's personality. The determination, the not backing down, and come at me attitude.

Hour Later

Naruto laid on the ground with his stomach growling at him in anger. Naruto ate too much of Miku's food where it didn't settle with him. Maybe Naruto was wrong this time, some of the cooking Miku did. Certain ingredients didn't go together well, or she under or overcooked the food, "Are you okay?" Yotsuba looked at Naruto in worry, she had her two pointer fingers pushing against one another, "Miku will be back with some medicine soon."

Naruto chuckled as he waved Yotsuba off, "It's okay… but again we were supposed to be studying today." Naruto squinted his eyes looking at the ceiling, "I didn't think she would keep making me until I collapsed. Seriously, her tenacity is ridiculous… but also endearing. Reminds me of our Kaa-san." Naruto had a small smile purse his lips. Naruto looked at Yotsuba and narrowed his eyes, "It's also partially your fault. I thought they were good. You could have told a white lie ya know?"

Yotsuba frowned, "If I lied Miku could see right through it."

Naruto sighed as he slowly sat up, "What about the flavor? It wasn't horrible?

Yotsuba's eyes widen as her ribbon on her head also stiffened straight up, "Oh! I see! I have learned today after all!"

Naruto shook his head and chuckled a bit, "That's not what I came here to teach you, ya goof."

Just then Nino and Itsuki came walking up and Nino asked, "Why are you taking a nap? Did you get drugged or something again?" Nino said teasingly as Naruto remembered how she drugged him the first time.

"Ironically, I would like some to help my stomach. Though that's not what happened." Naruto looked at them confused, "Where are you two off to?"

Itsuki and Nino chuckled a bit, "We're on our way for some lunch."

"Oh, okay we'll be back later, we're gonna be studying to look over the exams." Naruto waved to them as they left waving back to him.

Once they left Yotsuba walked next to Naruto and knelt down where his head laid on the ground, "Do you know why I'm on your side?" Naruto looked up at her confused by the statement.

"Huh? On my side… never thought about it that hard before." Naruto looked up as she reached her hands out, "It is because you want to get better at studying?"

"No." Yotsuba sat on the ground with her knees just above where Naruto's head was. She leaned over so her face could look directly his, "Because I like you." Yotsuba leaned down more as her hair just barely touched Naruto's face.

Naruto's eyes widen a bit as he was left speechless. Seeing this side of Yotsuba was something brand new to him. Especially when she said she liked him. Did she mean it as a friend? Her wanting to be his girlfriend? Which one is it!? Naruto opened his mouth to speak and froze again when Yotsuba had a smile appear across her face. Naruto stared into her dark blue eyes which seemed to dazzle like a precious sapphire that were just cut and refined. Naruto felt his heart racing as he felt blood rush to his cheeks. Naruto then finally said, "Wait a second… you mean."

Yotsuba could only giggle as she quickly said, "Just kidding." Yotsuba smirked victoriously and sat back up, "Ha! You fell for it!" She then stood up and began to run off, "See! I can lie when I want to!"

Naruto looked at the ceiling where once Yotsuba hovered over him. Naruto sat up as he watched her run off to the kitchen. Naruto covered his hand over his mouth as he said mentally, "She just lied… just then her aura seemed to fluctuate at the lie. She really…" Naruto decided to play along as he sighed and closed his eyes, "Girls are really confusing… Mito what about you?" Naruto looked at the window thinking about Mito, Mito Senju. His childhood friend and the first girl ever to confess to him.

Just then Naruto got a text on his phone, "Hey Naruto it's me! Mito! I know it's sudden after the passing of Auntie Kushina. But I finished my study abroad in America and I'm moving back to Japan! Kaa-san and Tou-san and renting an apartment for me! I'll be able to join you back in high school!" Naruto smiled as he texted back, "That's great! I can't wait to have you back! Kasumi-Nee and Naruko-chan will be happy to have you back. I know I will, can't wait for you to meet some friends I made." Naruto sent it to her as Mito replied with, "Ooo friends? I didn't think the cold-hearted Uzumaki Naruto had feelings for friends anymore. I thought books were your only friends. Anyways text you later!" Naruto felt a pain in his heart when she said that. Mito sent a selfie of herself laying on a bed with her hair sprawled out. She didn't have any clothes on with the covers covering her body. Her hair was a lighter red than his late mother's, it seems it changed over time. She had Tsunade's brown hair and her face. Her body was well developed due to being Tsunade's daughter. Naruto couldn't dent that Mito was a very beautiful girl every time he looked at her. Sometimes if pained him that he rejects her those few years ago. He wondered if giving her a chance would be good for him. (A/N: If you want a picture of what Mito Senju looks like. I have a picture of her posted on my discord page. Oh, did he forgot to mention they were girls, eh oh well what does it matter.

Next-Day *Library After School*

Naruto was sitting at the table with Miku who was going over history. Yotsuba just came running, "Hello you two! Oooo Uzumaki-san what are you doing with all these costume masks?"

Miku looked up from her work said, "He is on the Test of Courage Committee. So, he is working on the costumes and ways to scare people."

Yotsuba turned her attention to Naruto and said, "Wow, that's pretty social of you. You regularly don't talk with others, right?"

Naruto sighed and closed his eyes, "I'm not doing it by choice. Still, a lot of people have mixed ideas of me and many of them are yet to be good. Some believe I'm still a delinquent, dangerous, and most of all scary. Then the entire class is in charge of this part of the school camp. Also, all my classmates dumped it on my head while I was busy studying by myself."

"Ohhh poor thing." Yotsuba felt the annoyance in Naruto's voice. However, a shiver ran down her spine as Naruto had an evil grin appear on his face.

"I wonder if they're going to seriously regret this." Miku saw the look on Naruto's face.

Naruto smirked as he put a clown mask up to his face as his voice went deeper, "I'm going to scare the crap out of them. This way I can get back at them while also pulling a pretty mean prank." Naruto finished as he placed a sickle in his hand and said, "I'll make it a night they won't forget."

Miku with a monotone said, "Wow… you're a lot more into than I thought."

Yotsuba still puffed her cheek out, "It's not right that they're making him do it all on his own, though." Yotsuba leaned in as she made a fist with her right hand, "I'm gonna go complain to Class-1!"

Naruto then said, "Don't let them have their fun, I'll have mine. Besides, I don't even care about the camp all that much."

Yotsuba understood and then perked up and raised her hands in the air, "Then, let's talk about things that could make you look forward to it!" Yotsuba then raised a finger up to explain what she has heard through the grapevine, "Did you know there's a legend about our school camp?" Yotsuba began to giggle like a schoolgirl as she clasped her hands together. Then brought them up to her face as she smiled, "There's always a campfire dance on the last day, and any pairs dancing when it ends are destined to spend their lives together.

Yotsuba clearly looked at Naruto and blinked a couple of times. She was waiting for his reaction, "I don't know about that. It sounds unrealistic and sill, it's just a myth. High school relationships never last."

Yotsuba shot off to the side pointing at Naruto trying to scold him, "You're too cynical! Kid these days! It's a campfire! A legend of fate! Don't you think it's romantic?"

"You mean you're the one being a kid. I may be being cynical, but at least I'm looking at with from a logical standpoint." Naruto waved off the idea of a girlfriend yet again, he knew what his psychologist said. Yet, he just didn't feel ready for that type of commitment, "Besides, we have other important business to attend to at hand. Like studying."

"Yoohoo!" Naruto turned his head as Ichika waved to him.

"Ichika what took you, you're a little late." Naruto took off the mask and placed it on the table.

"What's with the mask?" Ichika asked intrigued by it and the box full of masks.

"Long story short, I'm doing the Test of Fate at the Summer camp. Now it's time to get reviewing, where are Itsuki and Nino?" Naruto asked as he rested his chin on his hand.

"Oh, that reminds me. It got me thinking…" Ichika took out her phone from her purse, "I should let you know ahead of time whenever this happens." She pulled up her contact info, "So here. Let's exchange email addresses." Ichika winked at Naruto closing her right eye.

Naruto nodded his head as he fished his own phone out, "Sure here."

Just then Yotsuba jumped in saying, "I want to join too! I'd like to exchange email addresses to Uzumaki-san!"

Naruto nodded his head and finished trading information with Ichika and then did so with Yotsuba. However, he found her making origami cranes, "What are you doing?"

"I'm making a thousand paper cranes since my friend is in the hospital!" Yotsuba began to quickly make a bunch of them appear on the table.

"What?! That's too many! Let me help so we can begin studying." Naruto sighed as he grabbed one and began to fold it.

Just then a teacher came by, "Oh! Nakano-chan! I'm glad I found you here." The teacher was holding a stack of papers in his arms.

"Sensei?" Yotsuba stood at attention for her teacher.

"Could you please put these on everyone's desks for me please?" He walked up to her as Yotsuba took them out of his hands.

"Sure thing!" Yotsuba smiled as she left hand the papers out.

Then Ichika said, "I'm off." She waved as she left to get to work.

"Good luck." Miku piped up after being quiet.

"Go, Ichika!" Yotsuba cheered as she saw her sister off.

Naruto sighed but he then got an email. He looked at it and scowled with annoyance, "I think I'm regretting this already." Ichika said, "If you don't want me to send it around, you'll get the other four's email addresses!" The top said, from Nakano Ichika, and the Sub said: Mr. Whiskers." Naruto sighed as he placed a hand on his whiskers. She had a picture of Naruto sleeping when he stayed the night at their place. Naruto looked up and saw Ichika by the door as she had a grin on her face as she held up her phone. Naruto shook his head, "Yotsuba give me your email address, Ichika makes a good point. Miku you too." Naruto pulled his phone out and placed his contact info in view for Yotsuba and Miku to copy down, "I can get Itsuki's and Nino's some other day. I guess it would be good to be in contact."

"They're in the cafeteria! Let's goo!" Yotsuba began to trot off which Naruto sighed at her energetic attitude. He used to be like that.

USED to be like that.

Once Miku finished and gave Naruto his phone. Naruto stood up, "Sorry Miku, but Ichika is blackmailing me. I need to go get Itsuki's and Nino's email addresses, so I'll be back later, okay?" Naruto waved with a sigh and a smile on his face. Miku smiled as she held up her phone looking at Naruto's contact information. Miku did a couple of taps and smiled a bit more, Ichika did a huge solid for her. Miku added a picture to Naruto's contact photo. It was Naruto teaching the five of the during midterms.

Cafeteria

"Why would we want to do that? Maybe I want to see the photo." Nino smirked raising an eyebrow as Naruto hung his head.

"FINE!" Naruto placed his phone on the table showing the picture of him sleeping in Miku's bed.

Nino smirked as she took her phone out, Itsuki on the other hand didn't care, "Look at those whisker marks. I do wonder… are they real?" Nino squinted her eyes as she stared at Naruto's cheek.

Naruto backed up a bit, "No! You can't touch them! I won't tell if they're real or not!" Naruto shook his head, no, making an X with his arms.

"Fine, whatever." Nino puffed her cheeks out as she began to type down Naruto's number. Itsuki only sighed as she did the same for Naruto.

"Besides, Ichika is blackmailing me if I don't." Naruto made a grumpy look with his face earning a giggle to escape Itsuki's lips.

Naruto shot her a dangerous look, "Gmp! I-I'm sorry! B-But you're saying Ichika is blackmailing you!? That's rich! Who knows, maybe we can blackmail you the same way!" Itsuki finished as a large smile appeared on her lips.

"Shut up!" Naruto crossed his arms over his chest, "That sister of yours is a real pain, but again I guess that's what makes you five unique. Always finding a way to annoy me." Naruto frowned which Nino and Itsuki could only smirk using their hands to hide their reactions. Naruto relaxed and his frown disappeared making a smile appear on his face. "Guess it can't be helped though, you five are really good friends. I appreciate you all for being friends with me."

While Naruto was talking to Itsuki and Nino. Yotsuba got a call from the captain of the basketball team, "Well… you see Uzumaki-san. I remembered I have something to take care of." Yotsuba seemed upset she was suddenly leaving Naruto without any notice, "Sorry, I'll be leaving now." Yotsuba began to slowly back up leaving a confused Naruto, Itsuki, and Nino.

Naruto scratched his head, "Well I guess I'll leave her to it then. Well, I guess we'll do studying this weekend." Naruto turned to Itsuki and Nino, "You girls keep studying, I'm going to wrap things up with Miku. I'll see you guys this weekend." Naruto raised his hand up and waved to bye to Nino and Itsuki with a foxy grin on his face.

Itsuki smiled and waved but then she noticed that Nino kept staring. Itsuki noticed that Nino's cheeks were red. Itsuki leaned over the table and poked Nino's face, "EEEK!" Nino shot her head to Itsuki, "W-What was that for!" Nino shouted as her face turned red. Naruto looked back at the two sisters confused, he ignored it and left.

Itsuki narrowed her eyes at Nino, "You were staring off into space again Nino. You've been doing that a lot lately. Especially when Naruto is around."

"W-WHAT?! N-NO!" Nino began to harshly shake her head, no, and but continued to blush. Imaginary stuttering bubbles appeared on her forehead while she raised an arm trying to explain herself, "W-WHO COULD LIKE A GUY LIKE HIM?! RIGHT?!"

Itsuki raised an eyebrow as she looked at her sister confused, "…Right."
