Unraveling the Secrets of Uzumaki Naruto
Hello and welcome to another chapter! Good news! I got a beta now! So now my chapters won't have so many errors and problems! I don't know when I'll get this chapter out but hopefully sometime next week! So far, to me the story has been going well, I think the way how I've approached the story has been right. Please check out my Pinterest as I have pictures of what Kasumi, Naruko, and Mito look like. I figured it be cool for everyone to see who I want what the characters to look like. I also decided that the next story I'll be reworking next is Infinite Stratos x Naruto. Idk if I'll keep the same name of the story, but I will be rewriting that story. All characters I introduce are ALL OCS! Very different from their counterparts. Anyways! Silence is my new beta! He doesn't say much but he is going to beta my stories for the foreseeable future! So many thanks to him!

2n2kas chapter 2. Aug 20: I don't usually drop stories mid-chapter, especially when it's obvious that the author actually puts their all into writing this, but the story is really inconsistent and the dialogue, more often than not, feels really forced and unnatural. Also, you're overusing tragedies in your effort to further their relationships. At least give it a couple of chapters, introduce the darn characters to the quintuplets, so that they could build a relationship with the said characters and only then kill them off. That way, their deaths would be a lot more meaningful and would help in your relationship-building endeavor.
SoP: I hear ya, I've had people tell me that before how the interactions feel forced… Ummm I'm not even too sure on how to address that issue, though I swore I pmed you about this, I could be wrong. I do plan on bringing in an important character into light. A character not used very often! SOOO! Don't worry about there not anyone for the Nakano sisters to meet someone close to Naruto's parents. *Hint* *Hint* Anyways! Thanks for the review! No worries, no hard feelings.

Last Chapter
While Naruto was talking to Itsuki and Nino. Yotsuba got a call from the captain of the basketball team, "Well… you see Uzumaki-san. I remembered I have something to take care of." Yotsuba seemed upset that she was suddenly leaving Naruto without any notice, "Sorry, I'll be leaving now." Yotsuba began to slowly back up leaving a confused Naruto, Itsuki, and Nino.
Naruto scratched his head, "Well I guess I'll leave her to it then. Well, I guess we'll study this weekend." Naruto turned to Itsuki and Nino, "You girls keep studying, I'm going to wrap things up with Miku. I'll see you guys this weekend." Naruto raised his hand and waved bye to Nino and Itsuki with a foxy grin on his face.
Itsuki smiled and waved but then she noticed that Nino kept staring. Itsuki noticed that Nino's cheeks were red. Itsuki leaned over the table and poked Nino's face, "EEEK!" Nino shot her head to Itsuki, "W-What was that for!" Nino shouted as her face turned red. Naruto looked back at the two sisters confused, he ignored it and left.
Itsuki narrowed her eyes at Nino, "You were staring off into space again Nino. You've been doing that a lot lately. Especially when Naruto is around."
"W-WHAT?! N-NO!" Nino began to harshly shake her head, no, and but continued to blush. Imaginary stuttering bubbles appeared on her forehead while she raised an arm trying to explain herself, "W-WHO COULD LIKE A GUY LIKE HIM?! RIGHT?!"
Itsuki raised an eyebrow as she looked at her sister confused, "…Right."
This Chapter *Nakano Residence Saturday*
Naruto was in Nino's room, "You want me to… help you pierce your ears?" Naruto stood next to Nino's bed as she nodded her head.
"If you would… Please do this for me." Nino closed her eyes as she tried to hide her blush. Which Naruto was completely oblivious to, "Think of it as repayment for giving you my email address!" Nino shouted trying to give her reason for giving Naruto her email address.
"Ummm sure, I don't see what the big deal is." Naruto gently took the piercing gun from her hand. Naruto placed a gentle hand on top of her head. Nino did her best to ignore the close contact with Naruto. The shirt he was wearing was tight, she could see his toned body underneath his clothing. Naruto then held the piercing gun up to her earlobe, "Oh three, ready?" Nino took a deep breath, "One…" *CLICK*!
"HEY! I THOUGHT YOU SAID ON THREE!" Nino shouted as she felt her ear was stinging.
Naruto placed a hand on her and began to pat her head, "Don't think too much about it. I bet it's feeling better now, isn't it?" Naruto cupped her chin with his hand and gently glided his hand over the earring, "It's pretty."
Nino continued to blush as she nodded her head, "Y-Yea… thank you." Nino turned her head to the other side and soon Naruto finished clicking that one onto her ear.
"All done, not so bad now huh?" Naruto smiled as he placed the piercing gun on her nightstand. Naruto went to turn away, but his pants got caught onto the nightstand. His pocket only ripped and his wallet fell out, "Oh shoot!" Naruto turned his head to find Nino bending down and picking up his wallet for him.
When Nino grabbed the wallet, a picture fell out, "Oh?" She picked it up and she giggled, she was seeing a child Naruto when he was back in middle school. Though he was standing next to some red girl with light purple highlights at the tips of her hair. Along with brown eyes, and a round cute face, "Who is this?"
"Her? She is a family friend, Mito Senju, she's been one of my best friends forever. She is currently studying abroad in America. Her parents are with her too, why do you ask?" Naruto tilted his head in confusion.
"Oh… just curious." Nino continued to look at the different photos that fell out. One piqued her interest, no not just one of them, a set of them piqued her interests.
Naruto saw what she was looking at, "Oh? Those? It was strange, I kept bumping into that same girl after I returned her to her mother." Naruto simply shrugged his shoulders, "She was so adamant about going to the photo booth. She acted like I never met her each time I came across her." Naruto shook his head and chuckled, "That girl there was one that I hung out for that entire day." Naruto shook his head and chuckled, "Kaa-san always teased me about that along with Mito."
Nino said nothing as she nodded her head, "That's pretty cool!" Nino had to swallow it and stay quiet, "I have… that one picture of me with Naruto. I thought I recognized Naruto… it was him all those many years ago. The one who saved me… well more liked helped keep me company." "Come on, let's get our studying session going." Nino added which Naruto nodded his head and put the pictures away. He tucked his wallet into his other pocket and went downstairs. Nino took a look at the very back photo of their baby photos. She looked at the one she had, it was her and Naruto in the photobooth, arms wrapped around one another smiling at the camera, "So… it was all of us who spent time with Naruto that day. I don't think anyone realized this but me… as of right now." Nino didn't want to tell Naruto just yet; it was too soon.
For now, there was a studying session beginning and she needed to go join the rest.
Time Skip Monday *School*
Naruto was making his way through the hallways in school going over some flashcards. Just then he heard a voice speak up behind him, "Uzumaki-san!" Naruto felt her bump into him with a lot of force.
Naruto kept his ground and said, "Yotsuba! What are you doing?!" Naruto looked at her as if she was crazy.
"Tomorrow is finally the day." Yotsuba cheered as she raised her hand in the air.
"For what?" Naruto put his left hand on his hip and raised an eyebrow.
Yotsuba simply leaned in and said, "What else would it be?" Yotsuba stared at Naruto intently for a second. Then lifted a book into the air as she cheered, "This!" She brought it down to eye level and said, "School camp! Have you read the leaflet?"
Naruto sighed and said, "No I haven't. Stuff like that isn't for me."
Yotsuba was a bit upset, "It's full of fun events." She then jumped to the right of Naruto crouched on the ground, "Outdoor cooking." She had the leaflet rolled up in a tube up to her mouth. She then jumped behind Miku who just walked up, "Skiing." So positioned her body in a skiing fashion. Then jumped next to Naruto again holding the leaflet rolled out in a tube again, "Fishing." Then jumped behind Miku running in place, "Hiking!" Then a bright smile appeared across her face. Naruto could tell she was looking forward to this, "And then… the campfire!" Miku's eyes seem to glisten at the campfire, "And it's the dance of legend!" Yotsuba poked out behind Miku on her left with her hands clasped together, "I heard there are a lot of people who start dancing because of it."
Naruto shook his head and turned away as he said, "I told you… relationships between students are a waste of time." When Naruto said this his heart felt a familiar of pain, "When I think of relationships… I think of her… no… not again. I-I know the Nakano sisters and Mito aren't like that… but… when I think of dating… I get an empty pit feeling in my stomach… I hate that."
Yotsuba then poked and moved next to Miku with her hands up and a serious look on her face, "B-But you wouldn't want to date someone you have feelings for?" Yotsuba looked at Miku, "Right Miku?"
Even with the therapy, Naruto sees, he still can't do it. Even with what his therapist said, seeking a relationship would help repair his self-esteem. As well as getting him to open up to others again, Naruto opening up this much to the Nakano sister has already been a lot for him. Getting into a relationship now… would be too much for him.
This is why he regrets not accepting Mito's confession to him all those years ago. He would have saved himself the humiliation and pain.
Yotsuba and Naruto both looked at Miku who seemed to stare off for a moment, "Miku?" Yotsuba looked at her confused.
Then Miku replied, "Why do we date people we like?" Miku wondered.
Just then Ichika happened to appear and placed a hand over her heart, "That's because you love the person so much, you can't help it." She opened her eyes and said, "You must have an idea what that's like, Miku."
Miku turned away and said, "I-I don't."
Deciding to avoid the question about relationships Naruto said, "Well if we aren't busy let's get some studying done."
Yotsuba looked at Naruto frantically, "Again?!"
Ichika then raised her hand and gestured at herself, "I have a shoot, so I'll pass. Actually, I sent you a message about that."
Naruto nodded his head, "I got your message, and Kasumi said I'd have to start helping her with the shoot in a week or so too." Naruto was a little nervous about that.
"Yeah! I know! I can't wait!" Ichika said excitedly, "I guess I still should be thanking you! After all, you helped me get into this!"
Naruto just raised his hand and shook his head, "I just asked her to give you a chance, I didn't do anything. It was all your skill." Naruto didn't want the credit; he didn't do anything. Ichika smiled at that, that was something she liked about Naruto. He was modest and didn't want to take the credit of other people.
Just then Yotsuba began to back up and said, "I have to prepare for tomorrow, too." Yotsuba then turned and bolted laughing as Naruto sighed.
Just then Ichika said, "Miku, my class has a meeting about the school camp." Ichika handed Miku a wig that was similar to Ichika's hair color. Ichika put her hands together and said, "Can you do the usual deal again?"
"Okay." Miku agreed, she didn't want to skip studying, but it was for Ichika.
Naruto decided to leave it for now as he waited around to wait for Miku. Though he found Ichika walking towards a classroom. However, Naruto knew Ichika was at a shoot, so he decided to follow. Naruto knew from the aura that Ichika let off, it wasn't Ichika it was a Miku, "Man can they really look like one another. If I couldn't tell them apart by their auras, it would be really hard, even then. They each have their own quirks that separate themselves from one another." Naruto then found 'Ichika' in a room with a guy Ichika would be in class with. The guy said, "Thanks for coming, Nakano-san." "Ummm… Maeda-kun, was it?" 'Ichika' did what she could to remember his name, "Where are the others?" 'Ichika' looked around.
Maeda put his hands in his pockets and looked at the ground, "Sorry, I lied to get you to come here."
"Huh?" 'Ichika looked at him confused.
Maeda blushed a bit as he said, "P-Please dance with me at the campfire."
'Ichika' said, "With me? Why?"
Maeda seemed flustered and didn't know what to say, "W-Well, you know… Because I like you."
'Ichika' began to blush a bit, "Really? Ichika's cute. I wonder if she gets it a lot." Miku wondered in her 'Ichika' disguise.
"Thanks…" 'Ichika' turned to leave, "I'll let you know later."
Maeda then said, "Wait… I want an answer now. Nakano-san, please!"
Naruto waited outside just in case he needed to step in. No way was he going to let some guy try to take advantage of Miku. Even if she was in disguise as Ichika. Naruto closed his eyes, "Don't think too much about it Miku. Turn him down, simple as that, it's easier that way." Naruto closed his eyes, "I know that too well… why get your hopes up, and then have everything crushed before your eyes. I'm speaking from experience here."
Just then Maeda said, "Nakano-san… You have a different vibe today." Naruto opened his eyes as he waited to hear what would happen, "Is it your hair?" Maeda took a step forward as 'Ichika' backed up, "Weird…"
"Ummm." Miku didn't know what to say.
"You're a quintuplet, aren't you?" Maeda remembered Ichika had a sister that looked identical to her, "You and your four sisters…" Just then Naruto got a text on his phone. Maeda looked at 'Ichika' suspiciously, "You haven't switched places or anything, right?"
Just then Naruto opened the door to the classroom. Naruto stared down at Maeda who was a good few inches shorter than Naruto, "Ichika, there you are." Maeda and 'Ichika' looked up at Naruto, surprised, "Ichika, your sisters are wondering where you are. Go meet up with them."
"Naruto…" 'Ichika' looked up at Naruto blushing a bit, she couldn't believe Naruto was there to save her when she needed it.
Maeda got into Naruto's face and said, "Hey, who asked you to be here, delinquent." Maeda had a hint of venom in his voice, "Don't go thinking you get to call Nakano-san by her first name."
Naruto narrowed his eyes at Maeda and a chilly and dark aura came off of Naruto. Maeda swallowed a large lump in his throat. Naruto leaned in and said, "Give her time to think first, besides she is my friend. Unlike you, I can her Ichika just fine, besides I know all five of them. Don't you think calling them all Nakano-san would be confusing?" Naruto smirked as he cockily added, "Well then again, I guess you can't assume that since you aren't very smart either. Besides you don't decide who can or can't be formal with her." Naruto glared at Maeda who seemed to clam up not knowing what to say. Naruto then backed off a bit, "Give her time if she decides to dance with you, besides interrogating her won't get you anywhere."
Maeda backed up and didn't know what to say but 'Ichika' then spoke up saying, "I'm sorry Maeda-kun… but I really don't want to, I'm sorry." 'Ichika' then turned and left and Naruto followed.
Naruto let her go ahead and Naruto turned to him and threatened him, "You go anywhere near her or the Nakano sisters. I'll make you and anyone you bring will regret it for the rest of your lives." Naruto stood his ground glaring at Maed. It was enough for Naruto to get his message across.
Soon Naruto met up at the lockers to find 'Ichika' who changed back into Miku, "Now that, that's out of the way. What are you going to do about the campfire?"
Just then a voice spoke up, "There you guys are!" Yotsuba waved to Naruto and Miku as Itsuki and Nino came walking up.
Nino crossed her arms over her chest and said, "All right, let's go."
"Huh?" Naruto looked at them confused.
Yotsuba explained, "We're going to pick out clothes for Uzumaki-san to wear at the school camp.
*Mall*
Naruto stood there wearing a dinosaur T-Shirt and a red hat. Naruto had an annoyed look on his face. Miku was quiet, Nino was impassive about it, and Itsuki was a bit surprised since Yotsuba picked it out, "I chose something really loud.
Naruto then said, "I can't help but think you're messing with me on this." He looked at Yotsuba with a dumb look on his face.
Then it was Miku's turn, "A hint of Japanese style would suit Naruto the best." Nino and Itsuki still had the same looks while Yotsuba looked with interest. Miku had her same facial expression too.
Naruto then added, "This is a bit much… don't you think?"
Then it was Itsuki's turn, "I've chosen a manly outfit for you." Naruto found himself wearing a punk rock outfit.
Everyone still had the same looks on their faces, "How is this manly? This really makes me look like a delinquent!"
Yotsuba and Miku were whispering, "Nino is being very careful." Yotsuba said.
"She's serious." Miku added.
Nino shouted, "Why aren't you all taking this seriously?"
Naruto was wearing a black jacket with a grey T-shirt underneath. Along with a pair of black pants and shoes. Nino even a black necklace that she chose too that went with the outfit.
Scene Shift *Overpass*
Naruto decided to go with the outfit that Nino picked for him. Naruto held the bad and said, "Are you guys sure? What about the money…" Naruto narrowed his eyes a bit. He didn't like it when people bought him clothes and vice versa.
Nino then said, "This is for our sake, it is so when you hang around with us, you won't be dressed like a hobo." Nino said with no hesitation.
Naruto smiled as he held up the bag and he smiled at the four, present Nakano sisters, "Thanks a lot! I'll make sure to take great care of them… I-I promise." The other girls all did pick other outfits for Naruto to wear. When Naruto said that they all blushed a bit as their cheeks turned to a light hue of red. It was a gift from them to him, "I would never throw things away bought for me by friends." Naruto felt a sting in his heart which the four noticed.
Trying to clear the air Yotsuba said, "But you know, picking out clothes and shopping with a guy… It's kind of like a date, don't you think?!"
Nino, Miku, and Yotsuba fell silent when Itsuki said, "This is just a shopping run." Itsuki said with the hue of red on her face becoming more apparent. She closed her eyes and then opened them saying, "Students shouldn't be dating. It's improper."
"You're sounding like one of those strict student codes of conduct people! Along with Uzumaki-san with his own views on dating!" Yotsuba poked fun at Itsuki who only looked upset.
Itsuki blurted out without thinking and said, "We're no more than students and teachers! We need to keep a certain distance!"
Naruto just sighed, "No need to be so uptight, Itsuki." Naruto felt that hit home, that kinda stung when she said that.
Nino seemed to pick up on this, "Come on Itsuki that's a little cold, Naruto is more than just a tutor to us. You know it." Nino simply flicked her in the forehead.
Just then Naruto got a buzz from his phone. Naruto looked at his phone, "Oh no! Naruko isn't feeling well, I need to go! I don't know if I'll be able to go tomorrow, I gotta go bye everyone!" Naruto waved and began to run off to run to the store.
Yotsuba began to wave to Naruto as he took off, "Be sure to take a look through the leaflet! Tell Naruko that we hope she feels better soon!" She closed her eyes, "Let's make some awesome memories!"
With Naruto
Naruto found out that Naruko was sick with the flu and Kasumi just left for work. Today were her late-night scenes she was needed for. Naruto had to bolt it to the store, buy medicines and drinks for Naruko. Naruto soon got home quickly as he came through the door, "Naruko! Are you okay?!"
Naruko laid in bed and smiled, "Onii-chan… I have a bit of a fever." Naruko smiled up at her big brother, but she saw something bothering him. She also saw the bag of clothes he had in his hand. Naruto could see how red her face was, "Sorry for bothering you while you were out."
"No! No! No big deal!" Naruto smiled as he sat down next to her, "I'm always more than willing to help out my dear Imouto!" Naruto gently patted her head.
"I think the stress of Kaa-san's passing is finally starting to bother you. Isn't it?" Naruto frowned a bit as Naruko nodded her head. Naruto knew how worked up Naruko was after the loss of their mother, "Anyways, I got medicine and drinks to help boost your energy levels."
"Ahhh… I see… Please give me the medicine." Naruko ordered as Naruto quickly jumped to her side kneeling next to her.
"Okay." Naruto quickly had the medicine prepared as he poured it into a cup. He then helped Naruko sit up and poured it into her mouth for her.
"Wipe down my sweat." Naruko ordered as Naruto laid her down and walked over with a cool wet towel.
"Sure!" Naruto began to pat her down and as well as help take some of her clothes off. This was to help wipe the rest of her body down.
"Do my homework." Naruko asked as Naruto sat down beginning to do her homework.
Naruto began to do her work without questioning, he had no problem pampering his little sister. After finishing her homework Naruko said, "Sorry about making you worry about me so much."
Naruto shook his head, "That's what family does, Kasumi said she'll be back tomorrow once she is done with work." Naruto sighed; it was a shame since the directors wanted to do the shoot at night to make it realistic.
"Onii-chan, you have a school camp starting tomorrow, right?" Naruko asked, hoping Naruto will go to it.
"Yeah, I do… but I." Naruto went to continue but Naruko puffed her cheeks out while he sat there quietly.
"Can I ask for a request? Tell me lots of fun stories when you get home." Naruko looked at the supplies that Naruto got her, "I'll be okay on my own."
"I can't promise that. I'd only go if you're feeling better tomorrow morning. That's also when Kasumi even returns, I won't leave you alone by yourself." Naruto placed a hand on her head, "We'll worry about this in the morning, get some sleep."
*Morning*
Just then the door opened with Kasumi running out of breath, "Naruko! Is she okay!" Kasumi let a sigh of relief out when she saw Naruto, "Naruto!"
Naruto turned to Kasumi making a 'Shhh' gesture with his finger, "Naruko is sleeping, keep it down."
Kasumi smiled, "So you've been taking care of her, good. You're such a good big brother." Kasumi walked over and kneeled next to Naruto. Just then Kasumi remembered, "Wait, the bus for your school camping trip must've left already."
"It's okay." Naruto turned his head to Kasumi and smiled, "I'm sure they'll have a better time without me; besides they have each other." Naruto smiled about it until they heard the door ring. Naruto went towards the door and opened it, "M-Mito?!"
"Surprise! Here I am!" Naruto moved to the side so Mito could walk in, "Wow, this place hasn't changed at all! Oh?" Mito walked over to Naruko, "What's wrong? Is she not feeling well?"
"Yeah, I had a shoot last night and Naruto helped her out." Kasumi was happy to see Mito, "It's so great to see you Mito!" Kasumi was happy to see her best friend in a better situation than last time.
"I'm glad to be here too! Wait… Naruto, isn't the School Camp today?" Mito asked, confused "Didn't you say they have friends?"
Naruto just shook his head, "Taking care of Naruko came first, it's fine really. They'll have more without me." Naruto walked over and sat next to Mito, "It's been a while since we've actually gotten to talk normally. How is Ero-Sennin and Baa-chan?"
"They're good." Mito giggled, she missed Naruto's nickname for her step-Tou-san, "Are you sure you don't want to go?"
Naruto shook his head, "It's fine, I'll just study and watch over Naruko, why don't you two go out to catch up?"
Kasumi stood up and picked up the leaflet and tapped it over Naruto's head, "You could still make it. It's a once-in-a-lifetime event."
"It's fine." Naruto added as he closed his eyes, "Naruko comes first…"
Just then there was a yawn from behind the three, *YAWN*! The three turned around to see Naruko stretching as she stood up. She rubbed her eyes, "Oh! Mito-Onee-chan! You're here!" Naruko tackled her sister-like figure.
"Oh, it seems you're feeling better Naruko!" Mito smiled happily as she held the little girl close, "See, now that she is well, you could still make it Naruto." Mito looked at him hoping he would go.
"Yeah! I'm hungry and feel all better! I'm all right now!" Naruko smiled happily since her fever was gone and she didn't feel bad anymore, "Go to school camp." Naruko ordered Naruto, which made him deadpan, "Being ordered by a twelve-year-old to go to school came…"
Just then a voice spoke up as everyone turned their heads, "The bus has already left." Naruto's eyes widened as he saw Itsuki standing in the doorway.
Itsuki closed her eyes as a light hue of pink stained her cheeks, "I understand the situation from last night. Naruko wasn't feeling well, and she is better now. So, you need a ride, right?"
Naruto just looked at her in shock as she walked over and grabbed his arm, "Pardon me. I will be borrowing Uzumaki-kun." She dragged Naruto out of the house.
"Great!" Naruko and Kasumi both cheered happily.
Mito stood there shocked, seeing that one of Naruto's friends was a girl. She went running outside after them. Naruto went outside and got to the street where Itsuki let go, I-Itsuki what are you…" Naruto's eyes widened to see the other Nakano sisters there, "Y-You guys…"
Miku smiled, "Naruto."
Ichika smiled, "You're late."
Yotsuba was waving to Naruto, "Over here!"
Nino had her arms crossed under her bosom, "Is Naruko feeling better today?"
Itsuki closed her eyes, "The planning of the test of courage… I can't do that." She began to walk towards her sister, "I'm afraid of ghosts." She turned her head to look at him, "You do it."
"Besides! It won't be fun without you!" Yotsuba cheered out happily.
Miku had a small smile appear on her face, "We're your friends Naruto."
Naruto chuckled to himself as a smile adorned his face. He put his hand behind his head, "I see… I guess I'll go."
"Just hold on a second." Everyone turned their heads to see a girl with red hair come walking out. It was up in a ponytail, her red hair also framed her face perfectly, and she had brown eyes. She had a figure that rivaled the Nakano sister's bodies, "Who are you five? What is your relationship to Naruto!" Mito finished crossing her arms over her bosom.
The other girls stared at them, "Ummm we're Naruto's friends…" Miku spoke up first, she was a bit surprised at how formal she was with Naruto.
Ichika wondered, "We're also students of his, he helps tutor us." Ichika added, she wanted to get that out of the way.
"Tch, what it to you?" Nino felt threatened by Mito's presence, Naruto never once mentioned her to them, but to Nino.
Mito took a step forward as she stood next to Naruto, "I'm his childhood friend." Mito narrowed her eyes at Nino, she could tell she was the headstrong one of the group.
Yotsuba tried to ease the tension, "We're all Uzumaki-san's friends here! Let's all get along!"
Mito raised an eyebrow, "She must be the energetic one." Mito looked at Miku, "The silence ones, they're always the sneakiest." Mito then glanced at Ichika, "She seems to be the most mature one." Then she looked at Itsuki, "Hmmm she's a hard one to read… I'm getting Tsundere vibes off of her." Mito closed her eyes, "I would like to full meet you all next time." Mito decided to ease up as she smiled, "I hope we can all get to know one another and be friends. Besides…" Mito walked up to them and spoke soft enough for Naruto not to hear her. Though enough for the Nakano sisters to hear her, "I know some of you like Naruto… I won't let you take him from me. So, I'd say he is fair game for anyone." Mito mainly eyes Miku and Nino, they seemed to be her biggest obstacle.
Naruto piped up and asked, "Uhhh… shouldn't we be going."
Mito retreated to Naruto's side and said, "Alright get going, you guys have fun. I hope to hear all about this, okay? Naruto." Mito went up on her tippy toes and placed a kiss on Naruto's cheek. Naruto never mentioned to her that his new friends were all girls. Not only that, but all quintuplets to boot.
Naruto looked at her confused and raised an eyebrow, "Hey?! Mito?!" She smiled and began to trot away back into the house. Naruto rubbed the back of his head as he walked up to the Nakano sisters, "Sometimes I have no idea what runs through that girl's mind." Naruto went to enter the car. Miku and Nino both glared at the back of Mito's head and before Mito went in she looked at them and smirked.
Miku said, "Nino… I think I found our rival."
Nino nodded her head and said, "True when we're up against Mito?"
"Truce." Miku add as the two went to join the others in the car.
Yotsuba then cheered, "Okay, off we go!"
Time Skip *Inn*
"Wow, this is a nice room." Naruto was glad they got some rooms.
"It's a four-person room, though." Nino crossed her arms under her breast, "Though… I don't think it's wise to be sharing a room with a male."
"You aren't wrong about that." Naruto agreed as readjusted his book bag.
Yotsuba walked into the room and said, "They had a large group that came in without a reservation, "This was the only one available."
"I see… we're gonna have to be careful about this then. I don't want there to be any misunderstandings." Naruto rand his fingers through his hair and began to scratch his head.
Nino joked as she walked to the window, "Oh, hey there was room in the front of the inn."
Naruto gave her a 'really' look as he crossed his arms. Yotsuba worriedly said, "He'd be dead by morning!" Nino playfully stuck her tongue out.
Naruto looked around at what he could do, and he placed his bag down. Naruto began to go through his things and found a note. It was from Naruko, and it said, "Dear Onii-can, I made a good luck charm to keep you safe on your trip. Have fun at school camp. P.S. I'm expecting a gift in return. Naruko." Naruto chuckled as he saw the bracelet that was in the note. Naruto smiled as he held up the bracelet and put it on. He walked to the window and said, "I'm sure we can make it work, if I have to, I can sleep in the closet."
Just then Nino raised her hand, "Okay, girls gather around." The girls gather in a circle in the corner and Nino whispered, "Listen up. Be careful, all of you."
"For what?" Yotsuba said confused.
Nino darted her eyes towards Naruto, "I mean, you know… We're going to be sharing a room tonight." Just then everyone pictured Naruto being a wolf, "Keep in mind, he's a guy."
Itsuki then looked down a said, "Uhh… I don't think Naruto is that type of person."
Naruto knelt behind Itsuki and said, "Let's do it!" Which caused shivers to run down her spine and this surprised everyone.
"D-Do what?!" Nino asked surprised by Naruto's forwardness.
"Let's play some cards!" Naruto extended out a deck of cards in his hand.
Nino couldn't believe what Naruto meant, "C-Cards…"
Ichika chuckled, "I-I haven't played cards in a while."
Later *Dinner*
"Wow, this food looks really good!" Naruto was amazed at how good all the food looked.
"After we're done eating the curry rice will look sad." Yotsuba couldn't wait to dig in.
Nino leaned over to Miku with a sly smirk said, "I look forward to your team's curry rice."
Miku glared at her sister, "Shut up."
Then Ichika said, "Speaking of which, I haven't looked at the camp schedule.
Naruto then spoke up and said, "I've read through the leaflet. The main events on the second day will be orienteering, outdoor cooking, and the test of courage at night." Everyone just stared at Naruto blankly, to think he took the time to memorize all this, "The third day will have the optional mountain climb, skiing, fishing, and campfire at night." Naruto then continued to eat.
Ichika then asked, "Why do you have that memorized?"
Then Yotsuba raised her hand in the air, "Oh, and according to new information, for the campfire legend to work, you have to hold hands at the finale."
Naruto shook his head, "You're still on about that?" Naruto closed his eyes, he never really believed in superstitions.
"Don't worry about it." Nino spoke up as she said, "None of these girls have a dance partner anyway."
"I see…" Naruto scratched his cheek, no one saw it but Ichika and Miku's eyes widened, "Well… I wouldn't mind dancing with all of you if you guys want to. I'm not much of a dancer, but I'll do what I can!" Naruto gave everyone a bright grin making them all blush.
Nino picked up some food with her chopsticks, "W-Well… I-I… I mean… who would think s-s-such a ridiculous legend would even exist!"
"I don't think anyone asked." Miku said blatantly if she got a chance to dance with Naruto, she'd take it.
Nino blushed harder as she said, "B-But t-that d-doesn't mean I don't want to dance with you!" Nino pointed at Naruto with her chopsticks, "Y-You s-should be grateful!"
"I see… you're bitter that we'll all get to dance with Naruto!" Yotsuba cheered happily, she liked the idea, she was all for it!
"W-Wait! Hold on a second!" Itsuki said blushing until Ichika decided to change the subject.
"Ara! Look! There's an outdoor bath here." Ichika held up a flyer. She brought it up to her face, "It looks pretty good… wait… Mixed bath?!"
"HUH?! We have to share the bath with other men!?" Itsuki shouted outraged.
"There is no way that is happening!" Nino shouted as she thought about Naruto joining them, as her inner Nino began having a nosebleed.
Ichika then said, "Why are you assuming we'd be bathing together?"
Naruto smirked and liked where Ichika's prank was going. Naruto looked at Nino and said, "Wow… Nino… Itsuki, I'm offended. To think you wouldn't go in with me." Naruto closed his eye as he took a bite of shrimp tempura. Nino felt a twitch on her head, "It's not like we haven't done it before."
Miku glared at Nino, "Nino… you…"
"HEY!" Nino stood up, blushing up a storm.
Naruto just laughed, "Relax Nino, I'm just playing around. I'm just getting back at ya is all." Naruto shrugged his shoulders, "It's not like any of you want to bathe with me, right?"
…
"Right?" Naruto asked again.
The girls all snapped to, "Yeah.", "Yeah, you're right.", "Absolutely.", "For sure."
…
"Why was there hesitation?" Naruto blankly stared at them.
"SHUT UP!" Naruto found various items being thrown at him by the girls.
"Ahhh! Hey! Watch it!" Naruto ducks under a weight, "WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET A WEIGHT!" Naruto jumped over a bowling ball, "ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!"
*Baths: Female side*
All the girls got into the warm water with Itsuki being the last one in. All the girls relaxed in the baths letting their stress be washed away, "This feels good!" Yotsuba said stretching.
Ichika added, "I read it as a mixed bath, but it said hot-water-mixed bath." Ichika stretched her arms into the air.
Itsuki wasn't in yet as she had a towel covering her front, "It's been years since we took a bath together."
Just then Miku stood up in the water and Yotsuba asked, "Miku. Have your boobs gotten bigger?"
Miku looked at Yotsuba without much care and said, "Come on. We're all the same."
Nino then spoke curiously as she said, "I don't know about you guys… but Naruto is acting a bit differently today don't you think?"
Yotsuba turned her head to Nino, "Maybe Uzumaki-san doesn't travel very often."
"It was like he'd just pulled an all-nighter." Ichika smiled at the thought, Naruto was doing his best to make sure Naruko was getting better.
"It doesn't matter…" Nino stood up in the water, "In any case, his travel's high makes him a threat. The problem is that there's barely enough space in that small room for six futons." Everyone's eyes widened at the realization, "Who's sleeping next to him?" Everyone thought back to Ichika's comment about Naruto being a wolf.
"I think you're overthinking it, Nino." Ichika did what she could to reassure her, "We're just friends, after all."
Yotsuba believed in Naruto as she stood up, "That's right!" Yotsuba had her hands in front of her covering her chest, "Uzumaki-san isn't like that!"
Nino then said, "Then you're okay sleeping next to him, right?" Yotsuba froze for a moment as Nino mocked her saying, "Uzumaki-san isn't like that, right? So, there's nothing to worry about." Yotsuba stopped talking as she sunk into the water. Her eyes felt like they were spinning as she began blushing.
"Well, I'm not sure about that." Yotsuba's white ribbon on her head deflated in front of her face.
Itsuki stood up gesturing to Nino, "What about you Nino?"
"Huh?!" Nino shot up, "Why me?!"
"Well… it's just that you'd probably punch him if you had to resist." Nino wanted to redirect this onto someone else and pointed at Ichika, "Ichika! You don't mind, do you?"
"Me, huh?" Ichika felt her heart racing as she found it interesting to look at the water.
"You're just friends, right?" Nino added as Ichika seemed to get quiet.
"Yeah." Ichika replied without knowing what to say. Her cheeks began to turn red, "Naruto's a good friend." She felt her heart racing.
Just then Miku stood up and gestured with her left arm. That just so happened to block her chest, "Let's make it fair for all of us." Miku was blushing hard.
*Hallway*
"I see this is a good idea." Nino liked it.
Miku's hair was down, "If no one wants to be…"
"Next to him…" Yotsuba answered next.
Then Nino spoke, "Then everyone should."
Itsuki had her hair down, "Well, he probably wouldn't lay a finger on anyone…"
"If he doesn't even know who it is." Ichika said with a small smile of confidence on her face.
"At least from Naruto-kun's perspective." Miku said as everyone had their hair down and done the same way. Yet there were few distinguishing features they all had.
"Okay, here we go." Nino said with a determined look on her face.
*Their Room*
Everyone entered the room to find the room empty, all six futons were on the floor, "Ummm… where is Naruto?" Nino asked, confused.
"I have no idea."
"No clue."
"Don't look at me."
"How am I supposed to know?"
The girls flipped the light on, and all scratched their heads. Just then Miku said, "Wait… didn't Naruto say he would sleep… in the closet."
Then the girls all felt bad about what they were doing, "You know… I don't think Naruto is really who you say he is Nino. Just because he is a guy." Ichika looked at Nino with a smile on her face, "I think we can trust Naruto on this one.:
"W-Well let's see where he is first." Nino walked over to the only closet in the room. She opened it and found Naruto wide awake and simply laying on a pillow and covered in a blanket. The futon was too big to get into the closet.
"Huh? What are you girls doing?" Naruto noticed they all had their hair down; appearance-wise a person would have a hard time telling who is who.
"Ummm, we didn't know where you were." Nino was taken back by this. '
"Huh? I'd said I'd sleep in the closet… it's no big deal." Naruto put his hand up trying to hope they don't worry about it.
Nino closed her eyes, "Naruto… get out of there… just lay down on the Futon, you're fine." Nino backed up so he could get out.
Naruto waved his hand again, "No, no, it's fine really. I'm perfectly okay laying here."
Just then Naruto felt the stares from all the girls as Nino said again, "Naruto… you can sleep out here."
Naruto sighed as he got up and got out of the closet, "If you say so." Naruto then picked the farthest futon on the right side and plopped down. Naruto instantly fell asleep, Naruto didn't understand why they all tried to look similar to one another.
Itsuki smiled, "Nino, girls… I don't think we have to worry. Naruto-kun would never do anything to hurt us."
Nino felt bad as she said, "Yet we keep hurting him… or at least I do."
"Don't worry… you're not the only one." Itsuki added in which the others all simply shook their heads.
Naruto wasn't a bad person at all, this helped ease the girl's faith in Naruto to not do anything to them.
*Morning*
Ichika was stirring in her sleep as she opened her eyes. She closed them again to let the darkness take over. She shifted to the side, and she felt that she ran into someone. Ichika slowly opened her eyes, but then they shot open. Her mouth opened wide as she found Naruto's face right next to hers. Ichika shot up, "Naruto-kun?" Just then she looked at her sisters to find them laying everywhere… on Naruto. Ichika held her hand up to her mouth and smiled, "Oh my." Ichika saw Nino's head on Naruto's chest. Miku's head is on the left side of Naruto, and Yotsuba on the other side with Ichika near Naruto's left hip.
Ichika's eyes wandered to Naruto as he slept peacefully next to her, "I think this is the second time I've seen him sleep. If this makes me lose my cool, I can't say we're friends…or partners." Ichika leaned over to where her face was above Naruto's. Ichika began to blush as she looked at Naruto, "I'm perfectly fine, right?"
Just then Itsuki opened the door, "Rise and shine, everyone. Breakfast is at the…" Itsuki quickly closed the door when she was Ichika over Naruto. Ichika looked at the door wondering who that was. Itsuki who was behind the door was trying to catch her breath. She thought, "No way. Were they just…" Just then someone spoke up from them on the side, "Nakano-san?" "If it isn't Nakano-san! What are you doing here?"
*Bus*
Naruto was sitting next to Itsuki, "To think we all spent the night at the same inn. How lucky and ironic." Naruto placed his hand over the bracelet Naruko made for him, "I'm glad we ran into them." Naruto noticed Itsuki wasn't saying anything, "Something wrong?"
Itsuki seemed to have a sad look on her face, "I-It's nothing." Itsuki seemed a little down from what Naruto could tell. Itsuki was in deep thought, "I can't be certain because I didn't get a good look, but was one of us…"
Nino was sitting with some girls she knew. "Have you chosen someone for the campfire yet, Nino?" The one who asked was sitting right next to her.
Nino looked forward, "N-No… not yet."
The girl with her head poking above the headrest said, "Nino has such high standards."
Nino thought back to Naruto as she looked out the window. She then turned her head back to the people on the bus. She saw Naruto's head reaching above the headrest as he was talking to Itsuki, "Naruto… said he would dance with me… well all of us… but in the end… who would he choose? I feel like my war is really between Miku."
The girl next to Nino said, "Huh? Are you looking at Uzumaki-san? I'm surprised you would look at him… don't you know the rumors about him?"
Nino glared at her friend saying, "I know about them, some are true others aren't. Mainly him being a scumbag that I heard about is completely false."
"Oh? Do you know Uzumaki-san well?" The girls looked at Nino with interest.
"I've heard so many good things about him. How much of a hero he is for other people."
"I've heard he was a lousy boyfriend too." This piqued Nino's interest greatly.
"What do you mean a lousy boyfriend?" Nino asked her friend that was next to her.
"Oh." The girl put her finger on her lip, "I heard from some people that Naruto did date this girl named Hinata Hyuga, but I heard she dumped him. He was a lousy boyfriend."
"Why was he a lousy boyfriend?" Nino asked, confused by what these people were saying.
"Well, we heard he was always tight on money, had bad tastes in outfits, and didn't know how to be romantic."
"I heard that girl Hinata Hyuga cheated on Uzumaki-san with the strappingly handsome Kiba Inuzuka."
"Oh? Hinata cheated on Uzumaki-san?"
"I don't believe that for a second." The other girl waved it off, "That can't be right, I heard he had no idea what to do on a date."
Nino narrowed her eyes as she looked at Naruto from her seat, "Naruto… what aren't you telling us… is that why you seemed so hurt the other day." Nino thought back to what Itsuki said about them trying to stay strictly student and teacher. How that seemed to hurt Naruto.
"What about Sasuke Uchiha and that Haruno girl?"
"I heard they were tight friends with Hinata Hyuga and Kiba Inuzuka."
"Wait, I don't get it though; what rumors did you hear about Naruto being a lousy boyfriend?" Nino raised an eyebrow confused.
*With Miku and Yotsuba*
Miku continued to hear the girls around her chat about the campfire. Meanwhile, Yotsuba had a determined look on her face, "Uzumaki-san, I'm going to make this trip an important page in your memories!"
*Camp*
Soon everyone got off the bus and everyone was preparing their dinners. Yotsuba was chopping up some wood. Ichika was making sure everything was put away. Naruto stood next to the girls, "Take it easy on them, they've never cooked before." Naruto said as he flipped the pan that had the rice over the fire, "It takes time and practice, just have them watch it." Naruto said as he threw in some seasoning for the rice.
Everyone was relatively shocked by how well Naruto could cook. Nino was there helping Naruto as they cook the rice. Other people kept an eye on the curry. Some of the girls were around Naruto and Nino, "Wow Uzumaki-san! We didn't know you could cook!"
"It smells so good!"
"We can't wait to try some!"
Naruto just rubbed the back of his head, "Nah, it's more Nino, she's a better cook than I am."
"But that doesn't mean you can't! Look at yourself."
"Yeah! You can cook unlike those bozos over there!" The girls glared at the guys who burnt their curry.
"I can remake your curry for your group if you want."
"Well…well…well if it isn't Uzumaki Naruto, it seems like some people have forgotten about who you are." A calm and cold voice spoke up from behind Naruto and Nino. Standing there was a girl with dark blue hair and white pupil-less eyes. She was wearing a loose-fitting, lavender, and cream hooded jacket with navy blue pants, black, low-heeled boots.
"Hey, Naruto! Long time no see!" A boy next to her chuckled as he had his arm around the girl. He has messy brown hair, black eyes, a leather form-fitting jacket, with zips over the chest and sleeves, along with black pants and boots.
Naruto's tone changed, "Hyuga-san… Inuzuka-san… what are you doing here?"
With a condescending tone, Hinata said, "Oh, didn't you know? We finished our studies overseas; our group came here too to enjoy ourselves. It's rare to see a bookworm out in the open."
"Hey look who it is, it's dobe. Hope you didn't screw up the dinner like that one time. You added too much salt, remember?" Naruto's eyes narrowed towards a boy with dark eyes, spiky black hair with a blue tint, which was long and had hung over his face like bangs. He had a dark black jacket with dark blue jeans.
The girl next to him was by his side, "It's the loser of our class, the delinquent and dumbass of class 7. If I remember correctly, you were the dumbest out of everyone in our class." The girl had green eyes, pink hair which she wore with bangs. She had on a red jacket, with black pants.
Naruto said, "Haruno… Uchiha… could you leave us all alone, please? I have meals to prepare." Naruto turned away to ignore them and Nino was currently fuming at the insults directed towards Naruto.
Just then Yotsuba came walking up, "Hey! Uzumaki-san! I'm going to move all this test of courage stuff." Yotsuba was holding the box close to her as her chest rested on top of the smaller box.
Naruto turned to Nino, "I'll be back, let me help Yotsuba." Naruto walked over and took the bigger box from underneath.
"You're here on this camping trip when you usually camp out in front of textbooks. I'd like to support you as much as I can." Yotsuba smiled cheerfully.
Just then Kiba came walking up and smacked Naruto in the back, "Well doesn't she have the right idea about you! Naruto Uzumaki the dumbass of class 7."
"Screw off Inuzuka-san." Naruto turned to Yotsuba, "Let's go." Naruto began to walk away as he clenches his teeth. Nino looked upset as she watched Naruto leave. She glared at the four people who were currently there.
Just then Yotsuba said, "Hey! Don't call Uzumaki-san that! You big meanie!" Kiba went to retort but Yotsuba huffed at him and turned away, ignoring him.
Nino turned to Hyuga, Uchiha, Haruno, and Inuzuka, "I don't know who you guys think you are but leave Naruto alone!"
"Oh?" Sasuke leaned in, "It's Sasuke Uchiha, and you're referring to the dobe by his first name huh? Are you his girlfriend?"
"N-No!" Nino blushed at the comment of Sasuke thinking she was Naruto's girlfriend, "That's beside the point! Why don't you screw off and do what you were doing before and leave our class out of this!" Nino glared daggers at Sasuke.
Sakura laughed, "Fine suit yourself, have fun with the second-rate handbag." Sasuke began to lead her away.
"Tch, I bet you've already taken him out shopping, haven't you? Had to buy him clothes? Hinata had to do that too! It was hilarious!" Sasuke laughed as he began to walk away.
Kiba and Hinata began to walk away, but Hinata stopped and turned to Nino. By this time Ichika, Itsuki, and Miku came walking up to see what the commotion was. Hinata said, "Naruto has no taste in fashion, he's also an idiot and does anything you say. He'll buy you whatever want and do anything for you. It was so easy to manipulate him." Hinata laughed as she turned to Kiba and rested her head on his shoulder, "Naruto was fun while he lasted, so once I was done with him." She raised her hand in the air as if it was a victory for her, "I threw him away! Because he wasn't who I was looking for." Hinata clearly showed she used Naruto and threw him away when he was done.
Nino gripped the ladle in her hand so tight she bent it, "Those bitches!" The Nakano sisters look at Nino surprised, "What right do that have to call Naruto that! He isn't like that at all! They don't deserve him!"
"That's right." Miku chimed in as she glared at them, "Just who do they think they are to call Naruto things like that." Miki looked where Naruto left with a worried look on her face, "Just… what did they do to you Naruto?"
Ichika was angered by this, "Those… pieces of trash… how could they treat Naruto-kun like that." Ichika hated to hear them thrash Naruto like that.
Just then Itsuki said, "That's why… Naruto got upset. When I told him we should keep it a student and teacher distance. Especially after we took him shopping… you don't think they…"
Nino closed her eyes and shook her head, "I think they did Miku… Itsuki… Ichika… I think they did." Nino felt her swelling of hatred for those people.
A/N: That's it! I hope you all enjoy it! Yes, this is my story plot twist I want to add-in. This has been one of the biggest problems I wanted to implement into the story. Again, everyone is different from their original counterparts. Man! I'm already almost done with season 1! Understand that I need all of this drama to happen in this season. It sets up Naruto's character for next season. Which would allow him to begin going beyond and above for the Nakano sisters. Meaning he would begin to care about them and begin having his feelings.
