End

Hinata sat at the table with a cake in front of her with 23 candles. Around her sat her father, sister, friends and family. Or at least her Shadow Clones, who were Henged to look like them. Or what she imagined each of them would look like at this time. Taking a deep breath, she blew the candles. This was her reminder of what she was working towards.

In the last 3 years there were a lot of discoveries and progress.

Just under a month ago, her scouting Shadow Clone came upon first sign of life. In deep caverns under the Uzushiogakure, they spotted White Zetsus. Over the last month, she sent numerous scouting parties to take closer look. She was still scared of being discovered by the person who cast the Genjutsu, so applied overcautious approach to scouting.

What she discovered, made her fears justified. When the Shinobi Alliance army was assembled, their information was that they would be fighting 100,000 of White Zetsu clones. What she saw in the caverns, were millions upon millions of White Zetsu. That explained why the Alliance Forces were defeated, they were simply overrun.

Above the caverns, on the ruins of the Uzushiogakure stood the Ten Tails in its Tree form. Its roots going deep underground and connecting to the White Zetsu Army, as if they were fruits of the tree. Near the tree was a Grand Palace, with White Zetsu serving as both guards, and servants.

On the throne sat a woman, that Hinata never seen before. She has horns and third eye on her forehead with the same weird Sharingan pattern, as the Genjutsu cast on the Moon. Startingly, she also had pair of Byakugan eyes. 'Was that someone from her clan? Ancestor? Someone who stole eyes of someone from her clan?'

Either way, she now had a target to aim at. However, the Byakugan was worrying her the most. Considering that the woman was clearly much stronger than Hinata, it was not out of question, that she had longer range of vision as well. As soon as she discovered the woman, Hinata stopped sending scouting parties, to and good distance away from the Uzushiogakure. The chance of discovery was simply too high and her chances to escape in confrontation, significantly smaller now.

Another discovery was made among Nara Clan scrolls. It turned out, that they had a special recipe of a brew, that everyone in their clan took daily. It allowed brain to operate at faster speed than normal. Which supercharged Nara's already significant intellect capabilities, and allowed Hinata to double the amount of Shadow Clones she could use in a day.

Unfortunately, the recipe required a deer antler, and there were no deer's left in the world, as far as she could tell. Granted, the Nara clan had a good number of antlers in storage. For the clan it would have lasted a few months. For her? It would last a century or longer.

In similar vein, she discovered an interesting Jutsu, from Yamanaka Clan. It allowed her to process memories much more efficiently, at a price of some chakra. Combining both solutions, plus her brain adjusting to the increased informational loads over the years, allowed her to handle 100 Shadow Clones worth of information in a day.

Hinata's chakra Density and Reserves also grew significantly over this time. She already passed Density of Captain Suzume's chakra, and was about halfway to the White Zetsu's. She couldn't wait to reach the Genjutsu's chakra Density, she already stockpiled thousands of chakra storage scrolls with it.

The anti-Genjutsu grid already spread for kilometers in each direction from Konoha. Ironwood forests spread even further than that. It took hundreds of Suiton Bushins just to collect all of the chakra produced into scrolls.

To assist with absorption of vast amounts of collected chakra, she made Sealing Chamber. It allowed her to save time and efforts required to absorb chakra from each seal in each scroll individually. The massive seal had slots to insert up to 50 chakra storage scrolls, that she could drain continuously. The chakra flow was also regulated into continuous, uniform stream, which increased speed, and easy of absorption.

The village itself, was in pretty much pristine condition. All of the damaged and ruined building were brought down, and new buildings put in their place. Hinata learned quite a lot about numerous professions to achieve it. She continuously allocated 20% of her Shadow Clones to the task. It gave her an interesting distraction from all of the shinobi related trainings she was doing.

Other 60% of clones were used for learning Seals and Jutsus, while 15% in more physical aspects of training. The remaining 5% were assigned to odd tasks there and there, as required.

After discovering the Ten Tails, Zetsus and mysterious woman, Hinata had to switch tactics. She couldn't get too comfortable in Konoha. If she were to be discovered, there were no doubts, that all of her efforts would be wasted, and the Village destroyed once again. She would end up worse than starting from scratch, with little to no resources available anywhere, and millions of Zetsu and Mysterious woman out for her blood.

The first thing she done, was to start working on backup base. Deep underground place similar to the one she started in, only with copies of all of the knowledge she accumulated, as well as enough resources to last for years.

Then, she hid all of the resources, chakra scrolls and items, she didn't require at this moment, in another hidden place. Konoha was going to be first place of attack, with her backup base having chance of being compromised while retreating. There was no point in keeping all of the valuables she collected over the years in the most likely place to be attacked.

Next, she started research into ways to store her Ironwood forests in scrolls. Needing hundreds of square kilometers of forests near her base, was dead giveaway. There was not much she could do about anti-Genjutsu grid, she just has to milk it, for all it was worth, while it lasted.

Lastly, she allocated some resources into researching ways to escape. There was no point to any other preparations she did, if she couldn't get away from the assailants. While her own chakra Density was still lower than Juubi's, she had no interest in fighting, escape was her only option.

(*H*)

It took 7 more years, but she felt like she was ready for a confrontation now. Her chakra Density was now 5 times greater that Juubi's. She was tempted to attack earlier, but felt that it was better to overprepare in this instance. Surprisingly, the enemy haven't discovered her yet, but once they knew of her existence, there was no taking it back.

Her backup base grew to 4 backup bases. The caches of knowledge and valuables were also spread around. With as much power as she could wield now, not even the deep underground bases were safe. She put a great deal of her seal knowledge into reinforcing them, so was reasonably confident they would survive, even if she went all out.

Her forests problems were also resolved. At this point, even if she covered every available surface of the planet with trees, she wouldn't be able to grow at the rate she wished. To that end, she created pocket dimensions, each big enough to host 1000 trees, and was constantly improving on them. It required a lot of power to make one, and massive Sealing Array to access it. There was also a unique scroll, that acted as a Key to each dimension.

She could insert a thousand of those keys into the Sealing Array at a time. Every few weeks, she would send fresh clones into each dimension to collect chakra, and every now and then, they would send back a scroll full of chakra for her to absorb. Neither the Sealing Array or Key were required for the dimension to survive. Even if they were destroyed or lost, she could recreate both and access her dimensions again.

With hundreds of Shadow Clones helping her train around the clock, her ninja skills were also top notch. She mastered most of her elements and didn't even required any hand seals, or even knowledge of the techniques. With rare exceptions, she could pretty much just bend the chakra, and the elements, to get the effects she wanted to achieve. If she could imagine it, she could make it happen.

Additionally, the Density of her chakra improved so much, that the Moon Genjutsu was no longer able to affect her, even with no anti-Genjutsu Seals or Umbrella.

She was reasonably confident in her success, but it didn't mean she was going to be careless. She still had no idea who the woman was, or what were her abilities, or even how strong she really was.

The day of confrontation, she created a hundred of Density Clones. Her own variation of clone, that shared many benefits of other clone types. It was exceptionally hard to dispel, while being closer to her own level in physical fitness than any other clone type. As name implied, it was very hard to damage it with any Jutsu, that was powered by chakra with inferior Density. In correct conditions, it was also able to transfer information in real time, similarly to Wood Clone. At the same time, once dispelled, the memories and experiences were sent to original similarly to Shadow Clones.

Half of the clones moved to specially prepared, protected locations, while other half took positions around the Ten Tails and Grand Palace, to observe the confrontation and analyze the fight. One of the clones went to do the actual fighting. As much as Hinata wanted to participate, if she greatly misjudged her own strength, it was better for her to be very far away and very well hidden and protected.

The fighting Hinata clone Shunshined in front of the Palace.

"A-ano, you wouldn't happen to know, how to get to a library?" she asked the White Zetsu nearby, while poking her fingers together.

The Zetsu just released a battle cry and charged her. She managed to dodge it with easy, and watched as all nearby Zetsus started to run in her direction. In no time at all, she was dodging and running around 50 of them.

"Seriously! Cannot we talk about this?" she asked, after getting no response, she signed "Very well", in a blink of an eye, all of the Zetsus fell to the ground with Kunai wounds. Hinata raised her hand to an empty spot on the ground, a thread of chakra erupted from her palm and a standard sized scroll came into existence.

As it unrolled, a spot of ink came into existence in the middle, before flowing into intricate pattern on the paper. Within few seconds, the ink settled, and number of chakra threads shot out of the seal. Each thread connecting to the remains of fallen Zetsu Clone nearby. Then the threads contracted, dragging the remains into the scroll, where they disappeared with a flash of light.

When the body of last Zetsu Clone disappeared within the seal, the scroll rolled up, and a moment later, it blinked out of existence. Only to appear in front of one of her Clones in a protected location. The clone took the scroll, waived its hand, and pushed the scroll into a rift in space time that appeared in front of it. In another protected location a rift opened in front of another clone, before a scroll was deposited in front of it.

The clone made a motion, and another clone popped in front of it. The new clone grabbed the scroll and teleported out using Hiraishin to location of next clone. The process continued many more times. Each time different technique was used to transport the scroll.

Hinata herself, could only track down few of those transportation methods, but she was taking no chances. This was not only a way to secure spoils from the first battle, but also a way to learn which transportation methods her opponent could track. She didn't expect the first battle to be won, it was more of information gathering mission for her, as she was pretty much going in blind.

Once the scroll was sent away, Hinata continued to casually approach the Palace. The Ten Tails Tree seem to ignore her, so she ignored it in turn. As she walked, she admired the architecture and interior design. It was very different from what she was used to. Internally, the Zetsu clones were much rarer, so she needed to dispatch of them only occasionally.

Instead of creating scrolls for rare Zetsu, a piece of paper would appear in her hand. It was no bigger than exploding tag. The body of each Zetzu would be dragged into the seal, and the tag would disappear in one of five different ways. Each of the five transportation methods took it to a different initial clone, who would also use different way to resend the tag or scroll.

Eventually, all of the spoils ended in 1 of 10 different final destinations. Each location was hidden differently, and had different protections, some even were in separate dimensions, that Hinata created.

It was, perhaps, 10 minutes of exploring, that the mysterious woman finally confronted Hinata, by trying to stab her in a back, with a bone protrusion in the middle of her palm. Hinata intentionally avoided seeking out the woman. She knew, that once the fight started, the Palace would cease to exist. So tried to see as much of it as possible, with her normal vision.

Even though the mysterious woman demonstrated incredible speed, Hinata dodged the sneaky attack quite easily. She was on high alert the whole time she was exploring.

Watching the woman from across the room, from the position she Shunshined when attacked, Hinata decided to fish for information first.

"First guards, then servants, and now you. All I wanted, is to get directions to the library. Why are you guys trying to kill me?" she asked with straight face.

"Who are you?" was the woman response.

"Shouldn't you introduce yourself first? I guess, as the only one with manners here, I will go first. Hinata Hyuga, Genin of Konohagakure no Sato, member of 26th Division of Allied Shinobi Force" interestingly, the introduction had relaxed the woman somewhat.

"You are not from Otsutsuki Clan" the woman said more as a statement than a question. "How did you escape the Infinite Tsukuyomi?"

"So that is what it is called?" she gave a careless shrug. "Kurenai-sensei was a Genjutsu specialist, so she taught us how to deal with weak Genjutsu like this" she gestured outside, smiling internally as she could see that she was getting under the woman's skin. "Now who are you exactly? I don't remember you from the war, and your chakra is clearly different from the one used to cast the Tsukuyomi thing. If anything, it is marginally stronger than Ten Tails. By the way, using it as a decoration in your front garden is very creative" she nodded in approval.

During the initial attack, Hinata used proximity to get a small sample of the woman's chakra. While undoubtedly strong, it was weaker than what Hinata expected, relaxing her somewhat.

"How dare you speak to me in such demeaning manner. I am Kaguya Otsutsuki, the Progenitor of Chakra, The Rabbit Goddess!" she declared with self-importance.

"Really?" Hinata asked skeptically, "I only ever heard of two Gods. Kami, who I am not convinced even exists, and Shinigami, who definitely exists, but I am skeptical is actually a God" she said carelessly, while picking at her ear with a pinky.

"Why!? You! Insolent child!" this seem to be the last straw for the Kaguya, and her long hair shot at Hinata, who made no move to dodge.

As the hair wrapped around her right arm, a sword appeared in her left, that she used to sever the hair. Even before the hair had time to start dropping, a tag appeared in her right hand. Moments later, the hair was sealed, and the tag dropped carelessly into a rift, that appeared right under.

"Do you like this?" Hinata asked, indicating the intricate sword, acting as if nothing happened. "I forged it myself. It can cut through pretty much anything. I called it 'Sharpy', in honor of Naruto-kuns favorite kunai, from when he was a kid" she said dreamily.

"All-Killing Ash Bone!" was her reply. Hinata could have avoided the projectile, but with such a name, she wanted to see what it did. With fast movement, she positioned her index finger to intercept the flying bone, rather than taking it to the heart it was aimed at.

The impact was powerful enough, to create a small shockwave, but her finger managed to stop it in midair. Which seem to greatly surprise Kaguya. Even so, Hinata's finger began to disintegrate from the point of contact. Even as her other hand produced another tag to seal the projectile for further study, she kept her attention on her slowly disintegrating hand.

"What a terrifying technique. It reminds me of the Dust Release: Atomic Dismantling Jutsu, but is continuous from the point of impact, rather than being momentous. Here" she put her intact hand into a fist, before flicking a blue cube with brighter sphere trapped inside in the direction of Kaguya. As the projectile reached the Goddess, it expanded to be 50 meters to a side.

As the flash subdued, a good portion of the building was gone. It took only a second for Hinata to see Kaguya watching her from the sky. Giving her a shrug, Hinata focused on her disintegrating hand. In a moment, the progression of the technique stopped, and few seconds later, her hand returned back to normal.

(*H*)

Over the next 3 hours the fight only escalated. Hinata was quite impressed with Kaguya's techniques. Many of them strong enough, to cause damage to the clone, and Goddesses chakra reserves were even bigger than Hinata's.

However, it was clear, that the woman was used to out speed and overpower her opponents. Additionally, while Hinata had spent last 15 years preparing for the confrontation, the woman was caught flatfooted, and unprepared.

Therefore, it came as no surprise, that Hinata managed to catch her opponent in her Relativistic Barrier. It was spherical in shape with radius of 20 meters. This was one of few techniques, that she still had to use numerous hand signs for. In addition to being strong enough, that even Hinata couldn't break out of it, it also restricted use of any space-time techniques within. There was no teleporting, rifting, summoning, or phasing in or out of it.

The walls of the barrier were made out of numerous seals, that glowed with lavender light. It was quite chakra intensive to maintain, no Kage, or even Biju with low number of tails, could hope to maintain it for any amount of time.

After 5 minutes of Kaguya trying to break the barrier with no result, Hinata went to the next phase. While keeping her left hand on the barrier, to maintain it, she slowly floated down to the ground, dragging the barrier with her. As she reached the ground level, she slammed her right hand onto the ground. Slowly, black stone flowed from the point where she touched, pushing everything else away.

It took another 5 minutes, but she was now standing on circular, flat platform, made of black stone, that was 50 meters in radius. Concentrating, Hinata brought her right arm into Rat Seal. Underneath her, a seal design started to unravel into the platform's surface. It took another 10 minutes before the design was etched into the stone.

Then Hinata slammed her right arm into the center of the seal, while her left remained pointing up, supporting the barrier. The seal ignited with Hinata's chakra, a moment later, the barrier took on bluish tint too. Only seconds later, the barrier started to drain chakra from Kaguya trapped within.

On the edges of the platform, empty chakra scrolls started to appear in a circle, and disappear soon thereafter, full of Kaguya's chakra, only for a new empty scroll to take its place.

An hour later, the edges of the seal were full of empty chakra scrolls, only occasionally one would be filled and sent away, while another empty scroll taking its place. Inside the barrier, Kaguya was no longer floating, but laying on her back at the bottom of the sphere.

Seeing her opponent fully drained, Hinata went to the next stage. Concentrating for a minute, purple chains erupted from the platform around her, before shooting into the barrier and wrapping tightly around Kaguya. Once she was securely wrapped from head to toe, Hinata allowed the barrier to fall, while moving away from the center of the seal. Slowly, the chains retracted into the platform, bringing the wrapped Kaguya down to the center of the seal.

Those chains were something that Hinata forged herself. They were so heavily enchanted, that no Jutsu that Hinata knew, could even so much as scratch it, not even Dust Release, or her Sharpy. It was based on the Adamantine Chains that some members of Uzumaki clan possessed, but on a whole new level. It took her days, to make each individual link of the chain.

In addition to being indestructible, as far as Hinata knew, it also prevented use of chakra by, as well as drained it from everyone touching it. As long as that chain was wrapped around Kaguya, there was no escaping, even with outside assistance.

"I am source of all of the chakra on the planet, and I will get it all back" she heard the tired statement.

"I call bullshit on that. If I didn't have the Byakugan, I may have believed you, but tell me, did you create the earth, the wind, the trees, the water? Everything in the world has chakra, and unless you created it all, it existed before you, and it will exist after you" she said looking into the distance.

"Perhaps, you helper man to unlock and access chakra for the first time. It is also likely, that some of the stronger bloodlines came from you, but to be source of it all? No, I don't believe that."

"Other Otsutsukis will come to collect the Gods Tree Fruit. Only I can defeat them, without me, you, and rest of this world would die"

Hinata didn't say anything for a while. "You haven't even noticed, have you?" getting a confused look, she continued. "I am but a clone" that got her a shocked intake, staring into the sky and the Genjutsu that was still up, she continued. "Just one of a hundred. If anyone else comes with ill intent, you can be sure, I would take care of them myself" she glared at her supposed ancestor.

(*H*)

Over the following days, Hinata used another massive sealing array, to help her access Kaguya's memories. The woman was thousands of years old, and even in her defeated state, Hinata didn't want to take any chances.

Even with her enhanced information processing capabilities, it would have taken years to process all of fake Goddess memories. Fortunately, Hinata could choose which memories to process first, so it took her only couple of days to reconstruct what happened during the war and soon thereafter. The White Zetsu army below, were the people of the world, who were trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi and slowly drained of all that made them human.

If Hinata rescued them a year, or two after the war ended, there may have been a chance, to save some of them. As it was, the process was finished, and nothing could be done to undo it. All of the other critters trapped in the Genjutsu, were simply drained of their chakra, and used as biomass to produce more of the White Zetsu.

All to feed the God Tree with enough chakra, to produce a Chakra Fruit. Normally, the process took 1000 years, but the process was already quite far along. Using chakra from her dimensional forests, Hinata decided to give it final push. Even so, it took another 3 months before the fruit was ripe and she could collect it.

"Rise and shine Kaguya-baa-chan!" called in Hinata, as she walked into a simple structure in which Kaguya was housed. She was still wrapped in chains and strapped to the black stone platform. She only got glare in return. Well, at least she seems to have recovered from the mind rape. Kaguya was still drooling a little, the last time she checked on her, few weeks back.

"What with the long face? Did you expect to be treated differently after killing everyone I ever known or cared about?" Until the last confrontation, Hinata still had a small hope, that someone survived, and were just waiting to be rescued. Now, the only other person alive, was her psychotic, many Grand-Grandmother, who not only did the omnicide twice on Earth, but also did the same deed before, on other planets.

"Look what I have here" she said while showcasing the Chakra Fruit in her hand. Kaguya's eyes focused on it and followed it as she moved it.

"How?" she asked

"Hmm, let's say I know a thing or two about farming" she told her with a giggle. "Now, you eaten only one of those before, right?" Hinata asked, waiting for a reply, when she got none, she decided to push a bit.

"You do realize I can make your stay here a whole lot less pleasant, right?" after getting a glare in return, she pushed on "I also happened to have all of your memories, so it is just a matter of time, before I would find the answer on my own."

"Yes..." the grandma answered finally with great reluctance.

"And, how many of those, would you say, the stronger members of your clan have consumed?" she asked with interest.

After a minute of silence "thousands" she reluctantly responded, as if it pained her to admit her own shortcomings. Hinata expected the answer, but it still stunned her. Not because she was scared, but because she knew that each Planet could only produce a few of those. 'Just how many worlds and lives did the Otsutsuki Clan destroyed?'

"So many worlds, so many lives ruined, and for what? For this little fruit? You, and your whole clan disgust me" Hinata said with repulsion, walking to the prisoner, she pushed the fruit into her mouth. "You want this thing so bad, there you go, nom, nom, nom" she pushed the fruit with such force, that Kaguya nearly choked on it, but never the less managed to swallow it.

"You are a fool" the fake Goddess intoned, with crazed look in her eyes.

Hinata watched with a raised eyebrow. It took a minute, but the empty scrolls around the perimeter, started to fill in with chakra with ever increased speed. Soon, the seal was unable to keep up, and the Kaguya's hair started to flicker and her body started to shine with dark blue light.

The chains, wrapped around Goddess, started to rattle as she put pressure on them, with her renewed strength, trying to break them. Seeing no effect, the Goddess twisted her arm within the chains, managing to push one of her hands out.

"All-Killing Ash Bone" she intended, sending a big bone at Hinata, who didn't even bother to block or dodge the projectile. The kunai sized bone, hit her in the chest, but rather than penetrate, it just bounced back and fell to the ground, having no effect on the Kunoichi.

Over the following 2 hours, Kaguya tried many more techniques from her eyes, mouth and hand, but it all had similar results. At that point, sealing array finally managed to drain Kaguya of her new strength, and she just lay there with look of despair in her eyes.

"As I thought, your chakra grew only marginally Denser, but your Reserves nearly doubled, from eating the Fruit. Was this worth all of the death you caused?" she asked Kaguya, who didn't reply, just turned her head away.

"Otsutsuki Kaguya, for all of the death and destruction, you caused to the Elemental Nations, as well as other planets. I sentence you to death" said Hinata with heavy hearth. She never liked killing, but knew, that with some people, there were no other way to deal with them. Kaguya just looked at her with annoyance, probably ensured in her immortality.

"I think this is only fitting. All-Killing Ash Bone" she said, producing a gray bone from her hand, before stabbing it into the third eye of startled Goddess. It took only seconds for her head to disintegrate, but chains prevented technique from consuming rest of her body. In the next minute, Hinata made the chains retreat back into the platform, releasing headless corpse of her ancestor. Giving it only cursory glance, Hinata stabbed its heart with the same bone and watched dispraisingly as it turned into pile of ash.

Walking out of the building, she looked at the Relativistic Barrier, that surrounded the whole building, supported by hundreds of Density Clones, who were evenly spaced across the whole surface of the barrier. "It is done" she said, before dispelling. This barrier was modified, to allow empty and full chakra scrolls to pass through it, but still prevented any other space-time techniques.

Over the next month, the barrier stayed up, in case Kaguya somehow managed to survive. The chakra from within the barrier was also drained this whole time. This time, all of it was drained, rather than 99.9%, like she done previously, to keep Kaguya alive.

(*H*)

After dealing with Kaguya, God Tree and Zetsu Army, Hinata started to think about her options. There were many avenues she could take.

For one, she was strong and knowledgeable enough, that she could essentially create new life from scratch. It was appealing for her ego, but Hinata was never vain, or looked for Godhood status, such actions were sure to grant her.

Another option, was to search for another inhabited world. Either in this, or another dimension. However, Hinata would forever feel alone, as no matter how close other life may be in appearance and / or abilities, she would know that she was different.

Then, there was Otsutsuki Clan, which even now was slaughtering thousands of other planets. 'Should she take fight to them? Track down and kill them all?' She was confident in her abilities, and was still getting stronger at fast rate. However, having one woman crusade against a race of millions, that has been around for hundreds of thousands of years, if no longer, didn't appeal to her.

Then, she could hunker down and train, until she was strong and knowledgeable enough, that she could resurrect the people of the world, who died in the war. She had seen enough forbidden techniques, that with a bit of work to improve them, it was doable. 'Would the dead even want to be disturbed? What would happen if she messed around with Shinigami?' She was already close to his power level, and it was just question of time, before she would overcome him. 'No' she decided, it was selfish of her to do this.

The next option she considered, was to move to parallel universe. However, traveling to parallel universe, would be very random. She could end up where she already was, but there will be 2 of her now. Alternatively, she would appear, but there would be no Earth. Or Earth will exist, but there will be no Shinobi or Elemental Nations.

Even, if she managed to land in similar enough parallel universe, the people would be different. It wouldn't be the people she lost, but another version of them, different.

The last option she considered, is to travel back in time, before the war, before her world was destroyed. It was similar to traveling to parallel universe, but instead of moving across the threads of existence, she would move backward, following the same thread that took her to this very moment.

Another difference was that if she were to travel to parallel universe, she would appear as she were now, with all of her powers, and any items she took with her. If there was already Hinata in the parallel universe, then there will be 2 of them now. Also, if she were to measure exact age of the universe, then it would be exact same in both universes. Even if in the other universe Hinata was only 5 years old.

In contrast, while traveling back in time, it was impossible to take anything material with her. It was against laws of the multiverse she was in, as bringing anything else into the past, would result in decrease of multiverses entropy. There were, of course, other multiverses, that had different laws, but she didn't even consider option to travel to any of those. They were likely to be completely different, and it was not given, that she herself would not break its laws, and therefore cease to exist on arrival.

Another issue with moving back in time, was that younger Hinata would be unable to handle thousands of years' worth of memories. She was using a lot of Clones around the clock for years now, and she got all of Kaguya memories as well. Much like herself, the memories would have to be absorbed at the speed of her younger self mind.

It would be decades, before all of the memories would be transferred. However, Hinata didn't worry too much about it. She was master of mind now, so all of her memories were very well organized. She would put the most important knowledge first, and her younger self would be on correct track in days.

After spending a good amount of time thinking about her options, she decided on Time Travel.

All of the major villages had researched time travel. It was very tempting concept, but none came even close of achieving it. The main reason for it was very simple – Power. By going back in time, she was also, in essence, creating a new, unique, branching universe, that would have never existed, without her doing this. This took a LOT of power.

Hinata had to spend over 100 more years getting stronger, before she was ready. Then, she assembled the sealing array for Time Travel. It was housed in a cubical building 10 kilometers each side. Inside it were inlaid more cubes, each 10 meters to a side smaller than the previous one, much like a square onion. In the very center was the smallest cube, only 10 meters to a side, where Hinata was. Every available surface of every cube was covered in seals.

Once Time Travel was initiated, current universe would continue to exist, but for all purposes, Hinata, and the building would be gone from it. As a parting gift, she put a planetary sized shield around the Earth. The shield protected planet from any outside forces, be those jutsus, meteorites or supernova explosions. At the same time, anyone who has ill will towards life, from within the shield, would be drained of their chakra.

Who knows, it may help to get rid of few more Otsutsuki. At the same time, benign intelligence would find a well-protected sanctuary on the planet. At this point, her power was such, that Otsutsuki Clan will die of old age, before her protections could be breached.
