The Vancouver Attack
-End of August/Early September-
Rip Hunter looked over at his wife and son; Jonas was sitting on a chair looking at his parents, the pair having explained what was going on to him and the teenager was finding it amusing fixing the fluxes.
"Ava," Rip said into a communicator. "Come to the Waverider. We need you."
A few seconds later, a time portal appeared, to which Ava stepped through into the Waverider. "I need to return soon," Ava said, "or else they'll get suspicious."
"Time travel. You can be back before you left, if you want," Miranda pointed out, and Ava gave a nod.
"Why can't you just give me the info like the last few times?" Ava asked – since they had recruited her, there had been a couple of small fluxes that Ava was either able to use DEO resources or hint to the superfamily to smooth.
"This isn't small," Rip said. "It's the first big flux that needs sorting."
"Atlantis first major attack, since the tsunamis," Miranda pointed out; since the drones had been sent around the world to stop the waves, the attacks had been smaller, centered more on ships and other things on the ocean. "They are going to attack the sets of Supergirl and the Flash – and Superman, in Vancouver. Four Atlanteans who can breathe above water – including their king."
"Why?" Ava asked, confused.
"Atlantis doesn't really get the concept of a TV show right now," Miranda said.
"You mean to tell me they think Gustin Grant, Melissa Bens, and Tom Welling are really the Flash, Supergirl, and Superman?" Ava asked, to which Miranda gave a nod.
"The point is, Barry Allen has a business trip in Vancouver for tomorrow – from your point of view, obviously – when the attack happens. He's actually visiting the sets," Rip explained, "but originally Kara was meant to go with him along with Krypto and Hex. The four being there together managed to keep the attacking Atlanteans busy enough for when the rest of the League started to arrive the four attackers fled and escaped into the water."
"It was considered the first real victory of the war for the land," Miranda said. "But now Kara is pregnant and not going on the trip. Krypto and Hex stay with her. With only Barry going, a big temporal paradox would happen and if it's not fixed, well…"
"I have run my scans on the time stream," Gideon's voice was heard. "The Flash manages to hold off the four Atlanteans with some trouble until the rest of the League show, but it's not as perfect as before - without Supergirl, Superdog, and Supercat present, Melissa Bens, Adam Foster, and Carter Grant all die," holographic articles on the death of the two actors and Adam were shown from the console. "With both her sons' deaths, Cat Grant falls into a depression and CatCo suffers."
"Cat Grant is one of the main voices bringing hope during this war, keeping the land's faith in the Justice League. Her nightly war updates are a voice of encouragement," Miranda explained. "If she suffers and CatCo suffers, then land morale could lessen – it could cause trouble for the Justice League in the war if the people don't believe in them."
"Someone needs to go with Barry to Vancouver," Rip said.
"I don't think I could swing me going and make it make sense," Ava mused, taking this all in.
"We weren't talking about you," Rip stated. "We need someone who can substitute Kara's power and also makes sense to be with Barry on a business trip."
"Any Kryptonian offers the same power as Kara," Ava supplied.
"Gideon, holographic images of all Kryptonians currently fighting in or with the Justice League," Rip said, and images showed up of Clark, Ha-Pri, Astra, Karen, Connor, the Hitchhiking Kayla who was covering for Kara's pregnancy, and several Kryptonian animals.
"You know, theoretically Kayla going as Kara would make sense, but getting Barry to agree to that without telling him why would be a problem…" Ava mused as Rip nodded in agreement.
"Also, no baby bump," Rip commented. The world knew Kara Allen was pregnant after all.
"The additional problem is Clark, Ha, and Astra would make no sense to go with Barry either," Miranda said as Gideon made the images of Kayla, Clark, HA and Astra disappear. "Karen would be perfect – she has the same powers as Kara and with her comes her dog. She's publicly Kara's cousin plus good friends with Carter Grant. No one would blink at Barry bringing her… but she retired as a superhero."
"Plus is in Italy for her second year in college," Ava added. "What about Connor? He doesn't have all the power of a Kryptonian, but he is Kara's cousin… or nephew, I think. Possible brother?" Ava paused for a moment but shook her head. "He's friends with Carter too. Wouldn't look weird for him to go with Barry."
"No," Gideon spoke up at this. "There is someone from the multiverse coming that my systems say Connor has to meet."
"Thanks for being mysterious," Rip said to the A.I. "We're out of Kryptonians unless we include Morgan."
"I think we need to move off Kryptonians," Miranda spoke, and Rip knew the look in his wife's eyes. She had an idea. "Gideon, Amelia Allen," a holographic image of Amelia appeared before them. "She has telekinesis," As Miranda spoke, a holographic writing of 'telekinesis' appeared next to Amelia, "Astral projection," the word appeared on the image too, "and the Death Totem," the words 'Death Totem' appeared under 'astral projection'. "She's Barry's little sister – him taking her anywhere would not look odd, and yes, she doesn't completely make up for the power of Kara, but we don't need her to completely make up for Kara. All we need is for her assist Barry long enough for the rest of the League to arrive. With Kayla being a Supergirl substitute, who doesn't have a job or life here, her response time should be faster than the rest of the League, meaning the addition of Amelia could help smooth out this flux."
"Gideon, run the timeline again but add the condition of Amelia going with Barry," Rip said.
"Yes captain," Gideon said, and the group waited a moment. "Amelia's addition to Vancouver has a 90 percent possibility of success."
"That's pretty good," it was Jonas breaking his silence as he looked.
"Yes, really good," Rip mused, looking at Gideon's probabilities. "Ava, you need to convince Amelia to go with Barry on the trip."
"And how do I do that?" Ava asked, taken aback.
"She's your fellow Totem Bearer," Rip said. "You know her."
Ava frowned and started to think. "Gideon…" she said after a moment as she went to a console. "Show me what other TV shows film on that studio lot," on the screen Ava was looking at a list of TV shows start rolling across the screen. "Stop." Ava pointed at one of the shows as the list stopped. "Yes, I can make this work."
"Good luck," Miranda smirked as Ava opened up a portal back to the DEO and took out her cellphone.
"Hey Amelia," Ava stated, but the trio didn't hear the rest of the conversation as the portal closed.
"What's she planning, dad?" Jonas asked.
"Not a clue," Rip said looking at the list, unsure.
"Can we go and see?" Jonas asked. "I want to watch a TV show film."
"No sweetie, we can't interfere," Miranda said. "We made the plan and hopefully Ava can enact it. History has to play out."
Rip saw Jonas's frown.
"We'll bring you to a TV show or movie filming some other time," Rip said. "STAR Studios is going to be big, after all," he gave his son a wink, who smiled at that.

Barry was straightening his tie and putting on cufflinks as he looked in the mirror.
"Don't forget to comb your hair!" Kara called out and Barry gave a smile as he ran his fingers through his hair.
"I'll comb it on the plane..." Barry frowned; he wasn't a fan of using their private jet, but for a business meeting he had to – it would look weird for Barry Allen to arrive in Vancouver without transport, after all. "I wish you were coming with me," he added to Kara.
"I'm better off here. You can handle this," Kara stated as Barry walked up to her and kissed her.
"Daddy!" Alura and Nora called out.
"No power time," Kara reminded the two; they had been training them not to use their powers. The two girls were smart though, smarter than most four-year-olds. They had been keeping up well with home schooling and even surpassing where they should be, but they had difficulty with not using their powers at times. Due to this, Kara and Barry had started a 'no power time' at home – starting at 10 minutes they had been upping it. They were up to a half hour now without using powers.
"Daddy's got to go; I'll come and play with you later," Barry said to the two with a smile.
"Hey, Barry," before Barry could leave a voice stopped him – it was Amelia running up the stairs from the lower penthouse. She had a bag over her shoulder that Barry knew was the one she carried around to carry the Death Totem with her. "You're going to the sets in Vancouver where Supergirl and the Flash, and the Superman shows are filmed, right?"
"Yes," Barry said raising an eyebrow. "I have to talk to them about the contract with Hero Corp."
"Can I come?" Amelia asked.
"Why?" Barry asked.
"Ava reminded me that Nancy Drew also films there. I want to see the filming," Amelia said with a smile and Barry raised an eyebrow. "Please, Barry."
"Oh, Barry take her," Kara chuckled.
"Sure, why not," Barry said with a shrug as he went to summon the elevator.
"Nala, come," Amelia said, and the kitten of Hex jumped up and to Amelia's shoulder.
"Do you have to bring the cat?" Barry asked, but all eyes turned to him – even Krypto and Hex looked up at him. "Why do I even ask? Come on," Amelia and Nala followed Barry into the elevator and left.
Kara turned back to the TV and put up where she left off in Starfleet Academy. She'd gotten far in it now, starting season 4 already and wondered what she'd watch once she'd finish it.
It was a few moments later when she saw, from the corner of her eye, a familiar speed trail. She was confused for a moment, but then Alura and Nora yelled out "Aunty Rae!" The pair broke no power time and ran over at super speed.
Kara turned around in her seat, expecting to see New Justice Rae, but she knew right away it wasn't her. For one, the speedster outfit was different. For another, she was much too young to be New Justice Rae. A teenager, definitely. The last time Kara saw a teenager Rae in this penthouse was when their Rae died and it made her pause. Could this be her…?
"Can I help you?" Kara asked tentatively.
"Um… your Caitlin and Jesse said I could find you here," Rae said as she hugged the two girls.
"Where are you from?" Kara asked.
"Beautiful," Rae said and pointed at the screen as well – probably realizing that Kara herself was watching a Beautiful show. Kara's eyes widen as she realized which Rae this was. It had been a year since their multiverse hoping missions she and Barry had done and during that time on Beautiful they had found a teenage Rae in a coma. "It's… well, I have been getting my footing, finding myself and thanks to New Justice I have, a bit. And I kind of realized I have you to thank for the reason I am up and about. I thought I might come and say thank you – return the favor somehow," Beautiful Rae explained.
"Oh, you don't have to," Kara dismissed. "We'd help any Rae."
"Still, I want to do something for you," Rae said. "And hey, you're pregnant too." Kara raised an eyebrow. "My Kara is pregnant. I can cook for you."
Before Kara could object Alura and Nora yelled, "Yes!"
Kara smirked at her toddlers accepting the offer of food as Rae laughed at it.
"Who am I to reject a Rae cooking?" Kara said. Truthfully, she could eat anything right now, and Star and Romana would love it when they got back from school. "The fridge should be stocked and downstairs in the bedroom by the stairs are a bunch of boxes with some cookbooks in them."
"Oh," Rae said and ran down the stairs to return with one of the boxes Kara which had packed their Rae's books in. "Nice," Beautiful Rae commented, taking out one of the cookbooks.

When Barry and Amelia arrived in Vancouver, a car was waiting to pick them up – and once they got to the studios, the bosses of the studio had given them passes and told Amelia where Nancy Drew was filming, giving her permission to watch whatever she wanted. Barry had his meeting with the producer of both shows and had phone conversation with the head of the network, but now it was time to tell the producers, writers, and actors his news.
"Barry!" It was Carter running up to him – he was in his Superboy costume. Barry smiling as he hugged the young man.
"It's been a while," Barry said.
"You can say that again," Adam Foster came up with a smile at this. "Barry, nice to see you again." Adam held out a hand.
"What? No come here Adam. That's not how you greet your brother," Barry said and brought Adam into a hug, which the stunned man returned.
"Brother?" Adam asked once they pulled out of the embrace.
"Have you forgotten my dad and your mom are married?" Barry reminded Adam who groaned in realization.
"Your mom is married to Barry Allen's dad?" Melissa Bens was walking up now; she was in her Supergirl outfit which exactly matched his Kara's current outfit, albeit not the Kayla version which had 'debuted' a few weeks ago – the show had just switched from Kara's first outfit with the red skirt recently. Barry was taken aback at how much Melissa Bens did look like Kara, however.
Looking around he noticed all the actors were still in costume; Gustin Grant was hanging around with the cowl of his outfit off, talking to Tom Welling who exactly matched Clark's outfit. "It's nice to meet you."
"You too, Ms. Bens," Barry said, shaking Melissa Bens hands.
"Well, I guess that makes you my brother-in-law," Melissa reminded Barry that she and Adam were married.
"I guess it does. Come here," Barry said and gave her a short hug. "But I do have an announcement to make. So, if everyone can pay attention to me?" Barry put two fingers in his mouth and whistled loud enough it drew everyone's attention. "I have an announcement to make!"
All the actors got quiet as Barry took a breath.
"As you know, my wife and I own the rights to the Supers and Flash," Barry said, deciding to leave out Clark also owned one third of the rights as well, "and as some of you might know, we are terraforming moons – Titania is up and running and our second planet, Callisto, is almost done." They had started terraforming Callisto, the moon of Jupiter, almost as soon as Titania was done and they had already moved onto Titan. With a lot of people wanting off Earth – especially now with the war with Atlantis – they were getting a lot of requests. "Which brings me to my news; it will be announced in a few days publicly, but we felt you all had the rights to know before. In a few days we will be announcing on Callisto that STAR Studios will be opening."
It hadn't actually been Kara or Barry's idea to open up a studio – a young woman by the name of Charlie had contacted them. They had never met her face-to-face but had phone conversations with her and done background checks. She was completely legit and had been working in the entertainment business for a very long time and owned the rights to some old punk rock band called The Smell. She had been wanting to make her own studio for years but needed the financial backing and area. Kara and Barry had decided to take the risk and back her, give her a place on Callisto, and put the STAR name on it. They only need a big hit to let the studio take off and they had it.
"Due to this, we will be ending our contracts to produce the shows Superman, and Supergirl and the Flash," Barry continued. "All the movie and TV show rights to those heroes, the Justice League, and all other heroes will be moved to STAR Studios," Barry and Kara had got all their friends to agree to this; it wasn't just a money deal for them, but everyone would get money in through this. Charlie had agreed doing a big Justice League movie and movies based on the other heroes would be better than only using the Supers and Flash. "This means, for Superman, this is your last season. Supergirl and the Flash will have another half-season after this if the network agrees to that. I'm sorry. I know this must be a shock, but we gave enough time so both shows can end their plotlines and have a satisfying ending. If any of you want to continue with the parts you're currently playing on the big screen, the head of the studio has agreed to give you a shot."
Barry paused waiting for the actors to react. They all seemed in shock – then Carter turned and stormed off. "Carter!" Adam called.
"Adam, I got this," Barry said, holding out a hand and going after his step-brother while the other actors and producers took in the news. He found Carter sitting on the set, looking furious. "Carter?"
"Why? Why this, Barry? I finally had a part!" Carter snapped. "There was talk of another spinoff, giving me my own show."
"Carter, if you want to continue being Superboy I'll make sure that happens," Barry said sitting next to the teen, looking over at Carter. "I will own a studio. Any part you want, it's yours, Carter."
"Really?" Carter asked.
"Promise," Barry said holding out a hand which Carter took. "You might have to live on Callisto though."
"Mom will love that," Carter said with a laugh.
"Safer than here lately," Barry said, which was when heard some noise. "What's that?"
There was definitely chaos coming from outside and the two stood up and went to go see.
-Karry Universe-
"I am glad I took you up on this," Kara said as she continued eating the stuffed mushrooms Beautiful Rae had put down for her. "Oh, um… Alura and Nora love peanut butter sauce. They will eat any vegetable with it on it. Think you can make some?"
"I've never done that before," Beautiful Rae paused. "But I'll give it a shot. Can you have you're A.I send a recipe to the smart tablet thing in the kitchen?" When they had redone the kitchen, they had added a lot more tech to the kitchen including a tablet installed on the wall connected to Gideon they could put recipes on.
"Already there," Gideon's voice was heard.
"Oh. On it," Beautiful Rae said, moving off to the kitchen. Alura and Nora were in their high chairs munching on food. "Oh, I noticed you have some Kryptonians fruits and vegetables. My Kara has me growing some in a green house. Big Me is teaching me to make recipes. Can I…?"
"Use whatever you want. If you need more, call Caitlin. She runs our green house," Kara stated, and Rae paused at this before moving on to make the peanut butter sauce Gideon had given her the recipe to.
It was a few moments later the balcony door opened and in came Connor.
"Hey Kar..." Connor stopped when he saw Rae in the kitchen. Rae turning around to see the new arrival.
"Oh, hey a little Clark," Rae chuckled. "New Justice's one goes by Chris. And you…?"
"What is this?!" Connor asked, suddenly angry, which confused Rae.
"Connor," Kara said before Connor could open his mouth again. She stood up and looked at the teen with a look that said more than words could. "Go to my office – now. I'll be in there in a moment." Connor looked like he wanted to say something but paused and went over to the office. "Gideon, pause my show. Rae can you keep Alura and Nora busy?"
"I don't think that's going to be a problem," Rae said looking at the two toddlers. They were happily still eating and making a mess. "Did I do something?"
"No," Kara said, "definitely not you," she assured the girl before heading to her office.
Krypto got up and followed his mistress to find Connor sitting on her desk, his arms crossed and a pout on his face. "You look like a toddler like that." Kara had seen similar expressions on Alura and Nora when they didn't get what they wanted.
"Why is she here?!" Connor asked. "And cooking like…" Connor let his sentence hang.
"She's from Beautiful Earth. Last year we helped wake her up from a coma and she wanted to come around and thank us. She offered to cook and I took the offer. Well, Alura and Nora did, but I didn't argue. Now, you have seen other Rae's before. New Justice comes to mind," Kara reminded Connor wanting to understand why this Rae had upset him so.
"But she's not…" Connor said.
"A teenager?" Kara guessed. "Look, this Rae might be the same age as the Rae we lost, the Rae you loved – actually, likely younger – but she's not the same girl we lost. She's different, I can tell." Connor gave her a frown at this. "Now, you're here for a reason."
"Oh yeah my Disney annual pass is expiring," Connor said.
"Wait, we got that for you during Amelia wedding. Her anniversary was in July," Kara said.
"They expanded annual passes because of the Magic Kingdom being closed for a while," Connor said, and Kara paused, not realizing that. "But I spent a lot of money in Disney this year, maybe a bit too much. Dad – not Clark dad obviously, our dad – says he doesn't care if I continue going to Disney, but I need to pay for it myself. I used most of the money I got working at the Sanctuary this summer and I know mom would give me the money, but well I want to earn it. I was wondering if you would loan me the money until I can pay you back. If I don't renew my pass soon it will cost more, and they put those robots you gave them to good use. It's the 50th anniversary and the Magic Kingdom is completely new… and what are you doing…?"
Kara had taken out her cellphone while Chris rambled and went onto the Disney app. Her account was connected to Chris, and she clicked on his annual pass and clicked 'renew'. "Upgrades…" Kara mumbled. "Titania upgrade added. There you go." Kara pushed confirm for the payment and got the thank you message. "Titania opens on October 1st as well. You got to go on the Hercules ride. Barry has gone there with Star and Romana and done a preview, meaning I got one. It's amazing."
"I want to earn it," Connor pointed out.
"Then pay me back for everything except the Titania upgrade. That's our treat," Kara said with a smile. "We plan on doing a trip to Disney Titania after this one is born," Kara patted her hand on her stomach. "Now, let's go eat. And remember: She's not the Rae we lost."
-Karry Universe-
Barry and Carter exited the studio set and knew there was something odd going on instantly; for one, water was rushing into the place, and when Barry opened the door a bigger flow of water came in. Barry summoned his Speed Force outfit and ran Carter out of the room and to drier ground – but nothing was completely dry now, and Barry paused at what he saw.
There were several attackers in the oncoming surge, but the one that drew his attention was a blonde man with a trident in one hand, holding Gustin Grant with the other arm. He was standing on an elevated wave of water which he was clearly controlling. Barry recognized him from when they'd got copies of all of Rae's former League to take a photo: it was King Arthur of Atlantis, otherwise known as Aquaman on other worlds.
"Save Gustin!" Carter said pushing Barry off him. "I'll be fine."
Barry gave a nod to the teen as he ran up on the water. He took hold of Gustin and phased him out of Arthur's hold. "Now I know it's not the greatest TV show in the world," Barry said, as he slowed down with Gustin not far from where the king was. "But it's not that bad."
"But… you… he's not real?" Arthur asked, seeming angry as he looked at the two.
"Ah, sorry Gustin, but I guess everyone is a critic," Barry said to himself, but couldn't continue talking as Arthur sent a wave of water at him.
-Karry Universe-
"Adam!" Carter was calling, looking for his brother and sister-in-law, but couldn't find them. A wave threw him down and started taking water into his lungs, but then he felt a force take hold of him and a pair of arms around him.
"Hey, cough it up," he heard a familiar voice as a hand patted him on his back. He looked to the side to see a familiar woman wearing a black cape with a hood over her. On her other hand was a gauntlet with a black stone in, and there was a cat in a cape.
"Amelia?" Carter asked.
"Yeah, but don't call me my name," Amelia said.
"Did you raid the costume department?" Carter asked, recognizing the outfits Amelia was wearing as spare outfits for their show.
"There was a costume rack outside. I grabbed some stuff – can't really let people see me working besides the Flash. Secret identify and all. We just got away with keeping our secrets after my wedding," Amelia said, Carter nodding.
"Adam!" Carter said, seeing his brother was about to be hit by a piece of heavy equipment that was floating on the wave that would hurt or even kill him.
"Nala, go," Amelia called to the cat and the cat flew over and grabbed hold of Adam before he could be hit. "You're staying with me. Where are the Kryptonian dog and cat who play Superdog and Supercat?"
"That way!" Carter said pointing and they quickly found the two trainers with the two animals. "Shut off the power dampers."
"We can't unless…" A trainer started but the controls for the power dampers flew out of their hands and into Carter's hand, Amelia having used her telekinesis to get them off.
"Shut it off," Amelia said to Carter, who easily was able to shut off the red sunlight collars on the two. "Go, save them!" Amelia instructed, and the dog and cat gave a bark out and then flew off, the two trainers running after them, making Amelia roll her eyes. "Lets…" Amelia stopped as two familiar people came around her. "Aqualad and Aquagirl?" Amelia recognized Selena and Kaldur as their New Justice alternates right away.
"What did you call me?" This Aqualad's counterpart snapped as he went to attack Carter and Amelia, who let the Death Totem glow for a moment and then she and Carter went back with some speed – she having had summoned the power of her original Barry for a moment, letting her use a speedster's powers for a second.
Selena though held her trident up to Amelia – there was electricity on it. She was clearly going to send it at them. But then someone hit her from behind to make her miss her shot. Amelia had used astral form.
"I think I like your New Justice counterparts better," Amelia's astral form said before disappearing.
The two weren't discouraged though, and Amelia knew she would have to use her telekinesis, astral projection, and Death Totem to the max to fight them and defend Carter at the same time.
-Karry Universe-
Connor sat on a stool in the kitchen watching this Rae cook.
"This one's a little dry," Connor commented of the food.
"Okay, what is your problem?" Rae said as she put what she was holding down. "You have made a negative comments about everything I've cooked so far. What do you think…?"
Rae didn't finish her sentence as she heard an alert go off.
"What's that?" Connor and Rae said together.
"Gideon?" Kara asked out loud.
"Atlantis has attacked Vancouver," Gideon announced. "The sets where the Superman TV show, and Supergirl and the Flash TV shows are filmed is under attack," Kara had to pause, almost not believing it. She wasn't paying attention to her bond with Barry, so hadn't noticed what he was doing. "My Creator and his sister are fighting back, but they need help."
Kara took out her communicator with speed. "Justice League, start getting to Vancouver. Kayla, how far out are you?" Kara asked, knowing Kayla was the only one without a real-life job here – she should be the fastest.
"Just need to grab my ring and the hologram necklace," Kayla said, and Kara decided not to question why she didn't have them on.
"I'll go," Connor said, and Kara nodded at the teen, who had already run for the balcony.
"Me too," Rae said, summoning her Speed Force suit – again, to cheers from Alura and Nora.
"This isn't your fight we…." Kara didn't finish her sentence as Rae had already ran out.
Help is on the way, Kara thought to her husband, deciding to let him be surprised by the Rae who had turned up. Having not paid attention to their bond, she hadn't told him Rae was here and now wanted him to get a surprise.
-Karry Universe-
Barry was still trying to fight while dragging Gustin Grant around with him; every time he tried to put Gustin down someplace safe, Arthur went to attack him instead of focusing on the hero – probably realizing that while Barry was carrying the man, what he could do was weaker.
As Arthur came at Barry with his trident, Barry was surprised by a second speedster who punched at Arthur and sent him flying back.
"Take that fish boy!" A familiar voice called, and Barry was stunned for a moment as, standing before him, was a teenage Rae, reminding him so much of the Rae he had lost before Crisis – only her outfit was different.
"Where did you come from?" Barry asked.
"Beautiful," Rae said, and Barry figured that made sense. "Call me Speed Spirit." The two didn't get to chat more as Arthur had recovered from the punch and the two had to run.
"We should add her to the show!" Gustin Grant called as Barry ran with him again.
"Did you forget it's been cancelled?" Barry snapped back to Gustin.
"How did you know that?" Gustin asked.
"The Allens are friends," Barry said realizing he had made a mistake there but took hold of Gustin again as he continued running and fighting with this new Rae
Kara, next time I want to know a Rae is here, Barry thought to his wife now, as he went to fight besides his alternate cousin.
-Karry Universe-
Amelia was getting tired fighting the two Atlanteans two-on-one. She was using all her powers to the maximum and even had spirits helping her and using their abilities when they could. Using all three of her own abilities though was exhausting, and she wasn't sure how much longer she could do this and keep Carter safe. Nala and the other two Kryptonians animals were doing their parts and dragging people to safety too, meaning they weren't available to help Amelia.
It was as Selena had her trident pointed at Amelia that a Kryptonian landed in front of Amelia, taking the electrical shock.
"Haven't you ever heard that two against one is not fair?" Kayla said with a smirk, looking like their Kara. Kayla then went to grab hold of Selena's trident, forcing it out of the woman's hand.
Amelia heard a yell and turned around – Kaldur had taken hold of Carter while Amelia had been focused on Selena the other Aqua had gotten behind her and grabbed Carter. "Let him go!" Amelia shouted, the Death Totem lighting up brighter – probably from Amelia's emotional state – and the light went to her eyes.
But Amelia didn't have to do anything as Connor ran up behind the man in his Superboy outfit and grabbed hold of Kaldur's arm holding Carter; Kaldur screamed out as there was an obvious crack of a bone. "Hands off the actor," Connor said as he grabbed the man and tossed him off Carter before putting a protective arm around Carter.
"You don't know how happy I am to see you too!" Amelia said relieved.
-Karry Universe-
Clark was flying to the sets but when he got there, his attention was focused on Tom Welling who was being suspended in midair by water. A man was standing in front of him who had dirty brown hair and wearing a red and blue suit.
"Why don't you fight back?!" The aqua man was saying.
Clark flew down although and used his freeze breath to freeze over the water holding Tom Welling. Then, he smashed the water into bits and grabbed Tom Welling as he fell to the floor.
"Maybe attack someone who can fight back?" Clark suggested as he held onto Tom Welling and saw the attacker seemed confused – but only for a moment as Clark had to use his freeze breath to stop more attacking water.
-Karry Universe-
Barry tried to hide a smile; he always loved fighting besides Rae – any Rae.
"Need a hand?" A voice asked, and Barry looked up to see Static had shown up, flying on his metal board he used.
"Static, electrical strike," Barry said, knowing having Static use his powers would be helpful with all the water around. "Speed Spirit, lightning bolt at the same time. Let's electrocute these people!" Barry couldn't do his own lightning bolt as he held onto Gustin Grant.
Both Rae and Static seemed ready to attack but Arthur must have realized the fight was over as more of the Justice League was showing and it as only four of them. He held up his trident and yelled out something Barry could not understand, then, water rushed out everywhere – out of fire hydrants, out of the ground, and from all directions. Barry ran as fast as he could with Gustin Grant. Static shot up into the air and used his metal board to protect himself.
When the water was gone all four attackers were gone as well.
"There's a giant wave heading back to the ocean," Static called, seeing it from his viewpoint from above. "I think they are in it."
"On it," Rae said, coughing up some water but ran after the wave.
"Wait, no!" Barry called, but Rae was gone. He felt a tightness in his chest as he flashed back to when his Rae died, Zoom putting a hand through her chest to stop her heart…
"Flash?" Static asked.
"Static go!" Barry now called, and Static flew out, following the wave as well. Barry wanted to run too, but he noticed Gustin Grant seemed a little green now – plus, they were on top of a building.
Barry ran him down to the ground where Amelia, Connor, Carter, and Kayla were and then let go of him letting the man, who finally threw up. Clark landed too, putting Tom Welling down on the floor.
"Where's Melissa?" Carter asked of Melissa Bens.
"Over here…" it was Kayla who had been using her x-ray vision to see if anyone was trapped. She easily moved aside some wreckage and picked up Melissa Bens' body, still in her Supergirl costume – but there was a piece of metal going through her chest.
All of them knew, right away, that she was dead.
"They got away," it was Rae having run back. "Into the ocean."
Everyone looked at Barry as even more League members surrounded them, some showing up just moments after the Atlanteans had fled.
"Well… clean up duty, find survivors," Barry sighed, staring at Melissa Bens, and feeling a sinking feeling. She really did look like his wife. The League moved off, following his instructions.

That night at the Penthouse, Connor came up to Rae, his hands behind his back.
"Rae?" Connor said. Rae was sitting on the balcony looking out at the city – she had stayed to help with cleanup and then came back to the Penthouse to cook a large dinner – enough for everyone. Which had been a challenge, since it wasn't just Kara, Barry, their kids, Connor, Amelia, and Winn. Nearly everyone had showed up to get a bite and to hear about everything about the newest attack.
"Yes?" Rae said.
Connor removed his hand to show he was holding a single red rose.
"Peace offering," Connor said to Rae, who smiled as she took it. "I'm sorry for everything I said before the attack. Your food is delicious. I… well… there was another version of you we had here. She was… special to me. But she died. Seeing you cooking where she used to, well, it hurt a bit."
"I get it," Rae nodded. "Well… actually, I don't really. I never lost anyone that I know of, but my memories don't go back far. But I'm not her. And you need to understand that."
"I do, and I would like to get to know you for you," Connor said with a smile and Rae smiled back.

Inside the Penthouse, Kara and Barry were cleaning up as Star and Romana did their homework.
"Well Cat is calling this the first victory of the war," Kara said. "And she's so happy her kids survived – all four of them." Kara gave Barry a wink at that.
"Even if she did lose a daughter-in-law?" Barry asked.
"Apparently Melissa and Adam weren't in a good place, despite how they appeared in public," Kara mused. Melissa and Adam had made many public appearances that made them look like the perfect couple but apparently that had been more show. Melissa wanting everyone to believe Adam was her perfect husband. "And Cat didn't like Melissa anyway if you remember correctly."
"Still, we should do something for her – she did play Supergirl for five seasons on that show," Barry mused.
"We'll figure something out. At least for her family," Kara nodded, getting it.
"Well, this one was impressive, anyway," Barry moved on, patting Amelia who was eating dessert still, on the back. "You need an official name."
"Oh, Cat took care of that. Phantom Justice," Kara said, and Amelia looked up from her feed. "I asked Michelle to start making you an outfit. What piece of jewelry do you want it in? With all the rings you have, maybe a bracelet?"
Amelia hand went to her rings – one was her engagement ring and wedding band, then there was a ring given to her on SuperEarth she was protecting for them too. "Yes, a bracelet would work," Amelia said with a nod as Winn kissed her. Amelia kissed him back and decided to abandon her dessert as the two went downstairs to their apartment.
"Look at that," Kara said pointing at the balcony. Connor and Rae were still talking and laughing with each other now. "Seems Connor might be ready to move on."
"Is it moving on if it's another version of the person he lost?" Barry asked with a frown.
"The heart wants what the heart wants," Kara said with a shrug.
Rae opened the balcony door at that moment. "I better go home. My Barry and Kara will be wondering why I was here so long," Rae said, giving the two a smile.
"I'll call you," Connor said to Rae. "When… well… with Disney. We just said we would go…"
"Yeah, I liked Disney. The Villain Park was fun," Rae said, and then ran off leaving Connor confused.
"Villain Park?" Connor asked.
"Different world, different Disney," Kara shrugged, and Connor stared at her for a moment before leaving himself. "I think we'll be seeing Beautiful Rae more often."
"It was nice working with her," Barry said, and Kara could sense something. But if I lose another Rae…
You won't, Kara thought back taking her husband into a hug, and Barry kissed his wife.

"Well, that worked out well," Rip said looking at the timeline. "Adam and Carter were saved. Cat Grant's place in history is safe and the victory stood."
"But Melissa Bens…" Jonas pointed out.
"In the original timeline Melissa Bens and Adam Foster divorced soon after Supergirl and the Flash ended," Rip explained. "Their marriage troubles were kept secret from everyone to not affect the show and for Carter. After Supergirl and the Flash, ended Melissa Bens disappeared from the public eye. She did a film then vanished into obscurity. Kara and Barry will now send her family flowers and a nice note for her funeral. Meanwhile, Adam Foster moves to Titania in both timelines. Weirdly, Carter Grant's career is even better in this timeline than in the original."
"What about Supergirl and the Flash. Do they recast?" Miranda asked.
"No," it was Gideon who spoke up. "They write in Supergirl's death and make the last season about the Flash finding the person who killed Supergirl with help from Superboy – and bringing back the actress who played Power Girl for a few episodes. They also cast a female speedster from a different Earth who comes in to help, played by Nina Dobb."
"Should have seen that coming with all the times different Raes have been here," Rip mumbled.
"Plus, the multiverse games STAR Gaming makes," Miranda added.
"Supergirl and the Flash ends with the Flash getting his revenge and then joining Supergirl in death," Gideon continued.
"I feel Barry might have had a hand in this plot," Rip mused, looking at the screen but then shrugged. "Well, until next time." Rip shared a look with his wife. One flux down, but there were many more to go.
