A.n I own Nothing
It's back guys.

Sanji took a moment to catch his breath. He was both proud and surprised at himself for his defeat of Jabra, proud because now he had one of the two final keys and surprised that he could set his leg on fire. He took a well-earned puff of his cigarette and just as he was about to start making his way back up the tower, he heard footsteps coming up the stairs from the floor beneath him.
Sanji got on guard, whoever was coming up the stairs Sanji prayed it was someone he could beat easily. He didn't have much energy left in him and he still needed to get to Robin. Though by the sound of the footsteps it was only one person.
A second later Connor emerged from the stairway and he smiled upon seeing Sanji.
"Oh, it's just you," Sanji said and he lowered his leg "Where have you been all this time?"
"With Ezio, we found a hidden tunnel that Robin was taken through," Connor explained "I came back to lead you to it,"
"That's great," Sanji said. Though he was a little concerned that Connor had been with a random stranger. He made a mental note to talk to him about Stranger danger later "By the way…where is Ezio?" Sanji asked, noticing that the white hooded man was not with the boy.
"He went with Franky to get Robin," Connor answered "they had two keys and he insisted I stay with Chimmeny and lead you guys to them when you've got the last two,"
Sanji stared at Connor trying to process what the boy had just said. Ezio had insisted he stay behind? Why? Not that Sanji wasn't grateful that Ezio had done it, the CP9 agents were very difficult opponents. He then remembered that Lucci had gone with Spandam and Luffy was after him. There was no way to tell if Luffy had caught up with the Pidgeon agent or not. If Luffy hadn't caught up then Ezio would be the first to encounter him.
Could that be the reason, could it be Ezio did not want Connor around while he dealt with Lucci? Either way, why would someone who the crew just met insist on protecting one of their members. They had only met Ezio a little under 20min ago and while Ezio only teamed up with the crew out of necessity, there is no reason for him to go out of his way to look out for Connor.
Sanji was pulled out of his thoughts by the sound of crashing and large chunks of debris falling. He looked up to the room Zoro, and Kaku are still fighting in, and saw smoke come out.
"Damn it Moss-head," Sanji cursed "Is he trying to bring the tower down. Doesn't he know that Nami-Swan is still in here somewhere,"
He then turned back to look at Connor.
"Come on, let's get Moss-head," Sanji ordered "we're out of time,"
Connor nodded and followed.
"Santoryu: Tatsu Maki," Zoro yelled, spinning around as Kaku closed in hitting him in the jaw with the twister.
"Too strong Soru," Kaku dashed away as Zoro's attack went through the ceiling. "Geppo," Kaku went in the hole that was made from the twister.
"Now what? He can't be running away?" Zoro hissed as Kaku was gone.
Zoro had been fighting Kaku for a while now and no matter what the Giraffe still refused to stay down or give up. Even after Zoro had been freed from the handcuffs that bound him and Usopp together, Kaku was still a formidable opponent.
It excited and terrified Zoro at how skilled the CP9 agent was. Zoro was thrilled that he was being pushed to his limits, however, it was also terrifying to know that he still lacked skill. Admiral Ajiko had shown him just how outclassed the crew really was and what those at the top were truly capable of. His fight with Kaku only further proved how much stronger Zoro needed to become. Kaku was the perfect opponent for Zoro to grow, his sword skills were top-notch, he was quick and even adapted his devil fruit powers into his style flawlessly; even only having acquired the powerless than an hour ago.
Kaku was the wall Zoro needed to break down to grow. If he could beat Kaku then he would surpass his own limits and who knows how strong he would become.
"Pasuta Mashin," Kaku came back down holding his swords with his limb's long and slashed at Zoro who was barely able to block the blow.
"Did you forget I'm a Four Sword Style Master?" Kaku asked, and followed up his attack with another three strikes. However, Zoro blocked each and every one with equal mastery.
"You've done well to last this long," Kaku complimented "But now it's over," and he continued attacking relentlessly.
"Even if you're a powerful, wild animal." Zoro responded as he blocked every one of Kaku's blows "So what if you can attack with that long neck. Even if you are a master of 100 sword style," He to push back, and as Zoro deflected the final attack, Kakus guard was finally broken and the cp9 agent stared at Zoro in shock "You won't beat me," Zoro finished in a deadly tone.
"He deflected all four blades and broke through?" Kaku gasped in surprise "How he only has three swords,"
"Because none of the things you have, no skill, no devil fruit will give you the strength to defeat me!" Zoro declared "Not after what you did to her,"
"You're all talk, if you think you can take me down, then let's see what you got." Kaku said as Zoro leaned on his hands."
"Santoryu…" Zoro's eye's glowed green as he jumped forward spinning "Hyō Kin Dama," Zoro's swords formed a ball shape, just as it took the form of a leaping leopard; Kaku managed to evade the blow. But he groaned in pain as he was still cut.
"Impossible, you missed me," Kaku thought looking behind him at Zoro who started behind his shoulder "Wait…did he predict where I was going to Dodge?"
"Don't look so surprised," Zoro said as he stood and turned back to look at Kaku. "With the way you fight, I find it hard to believe you haven't been cut by a blade before,"
Kaku couldn't help but smirk in response.
"Well, it seems you have something to back up your boast's I won't underestimate you again," Kaku said before kicking at him several times. "Rankyaku: Shuriken," The wave's surged forward, in the shape of shuriken. Zoro deflected everyone, but Kaku predicted this, he rushed forward and jabbed Zoro in the stomach with his nose.
"Kirimanjaro," He pushed Zoro away a few feet. "My neck's like a whip Henchikirin," Kaku slammed his head down on Zoro and tried again, but Zoro rolled away. "Faster this time Mōchikirin," He slammed his head down faster several more times.
"Think you can defeat me now?!" Kaku yelled as his assault continued. However, Zoro's determined look in his eyes never once wavered. Kaku did not need the other swordsman to speak, the Giraffe could tell the response simply from the look in his eyes.
Annoyed, Kaku switched to his Four Sword Style and continued his attacks. Zoro however once again continued to block the strikes; even with Kaku attacking with both swords and legs.
"Come on all you're doing is blocking, that's just the basics of swordplay," Kaku cried out before finally landing a hit. Zoro grunted but never once lowered his guard. "You pirates are gravely mistaken if you think you can go up against the World Government. If all you do is block you will win agents me or the government,"
"You Government agents know all about our crew, right? Then you know we have a kid on our ship. I'm teaching him swordplay so I don't have to worry about him," Zoro said
"You have a student?" Kaku asked interested.
"Yeah, he only started learning a little over under four months ago, but he's come a long way, and do you know what I teach him?" Zoro asked "I teach him that the basics are the most important thing he needs to learn,"
"Then you're a bad teacher. You made a mistake teaching that. Just like you made the mistake of coming here and declaring war on the world Government, you made the mistake of trusting a woman like Nico Robin and these mistakes are punishable by death," Kaku shouted.
Suddenly Purple-black energy covered Zoro for a moment and for a brief second, Kaku swore that Zoro had multiple hands. "You Bastard," Zoro hissed angrily and pointed his sword at Kaku.
"What the hell was that? It was like he was a demon. A god of war with three faces, and six arms," Kaku thought. He eyed Zoro critically looking for any sign and indication of what he saw was real.
However, the only thing out of place was Zoro, eyes being shadowed by his bandanna.
"Your mouth just crossed the line... Now you're going to pay you arrogant piece of s**t" Zoro said darkly.
"Is that so? Did I offend you? I'll just end this now with the same move that crippled this tower," Kaku declared confidently. "This will be over in an instant," His momentary weakness and fear now gone. However, before he could start spinning; Zoro made his move.
"You're right, it's over for you." He said as a dark aura covered the ground, and behind him blowing. Kaku could not help but be overcome with fear once more as the dark energy returned and covered Zoro in an increased and far more intense rate.
"Nine Sword Style: Asura," Zoro stated calmly.
Suddenly Zoro manifested four arms and two more heads. Two arms held swords above him, and the other two held swords below him. One face looked right holding a sword pointing to the front, and one head looked left holding a sword pointed to the back. An image of a person with six arms manifested both around and behind him.
"What's this…some kind of demon?" Kaku thought "wait…my body…I…I can't move…" the CP9 agent became to struggle but no matter what, his body did not respond. It was like there was some outside force holding him in place. "There is no way this can be real, he has to making an illusion of some kind," Kaku concluded.
"You think you can beat me with mere tricks and Illusions? Well go ahead, do your worst," Kaku bluffed. Inside, however, he was terrified of Zoro at the moment and he began to believe he was outclassed.
"Wrong, it's not an Illusion and it's too late for you to apologise. You did well in this fight and I commend you. Suffering is welcome on the path to bloodshed," Zoro said before he slashed Kaku, and landed behind him, holding all of his swords so they look like they're fanning out.
"Asura: Silver Mist," Blood flew out of Kaku who fell to his knees, changed into his human form, and fell to his back. Once Kaku collapsed on his back, Zoro panted and went back to normal. He took off his bandanna. After a moment of silence, he spoke up.
"I've got a message from your other boss from Galley-La. He says...You're all fired." Zoro said glancing behind him at the prone Kaku.
"Paulie huh? Too bad assassination skills don't come in handy for other lines of work." Kaku panted staring up at the sky from the hole he made, remembering back to where he was flying across the buildings of Water "I would have liked to continue working there,"
Zoro raised an eye-brow. "You could always work at a zoo,"
"Ok That was a good one," Kaku chuckled painfully.
"Yeah, and one more thing, that move I just used…it was a basic attack for the Nine Sword Style,"
"Your student is lucky," Kaku said as he reached into his front jacket pocket, and pulled out his key. "I wish I had a teacher like you," he smiled before he dropped the key as he fell into unconsciousness.
"Not as lucky as you'd think," Zoro commented as he walked over and picked up the key. With the final key in hand, he looked out of the tower and towards the Gates of Justice through the ceiling. A few seconds later he heard footsteps approaching.
Turning around he saw Sanji enter the room with Connor behind him. Zoro eyed them both as they approached. Sanji had clearly been in a fight, but Connor didn't look hurt at all, Zoro supposed the boys' brand could have taken care of any injuries. However, he had seen Connor come out of fights from tough opponents before and take longer than the time the crew were given to collect the keys.
Which meant Connor had had more than likely managed to escape fighting with the CP9 Agents.
"Moss-head. did you get the key?" Sanji asked, pulling Zoro out of his thoughts.
Zoro nodded.
"Yeah, just finished up now," he confirmed.
Nodding Sanji walked over, hands in his pockets.
"Good, although its looks' you overdid it." He commented looking at the damage to the room. "Think it'll be safe?"
"Should be, if not…well it's not like we're going to have to pay to get it fixed," Zoro commented and threw a key to Sanji.
They now had all five keys. Two were with Franky and on the way to Robin, one had been used and the last two were in both Zoro and Sanji's hands.
"Now we have all the keys, let's save Robin." Zoro declared.
Spandam, and Robin.
Spandam was pulling a bruised Robin's hair up the stairs to the top of the bridge. "Can't you move any faster?" He asked as he pulled her hair harder as he continued to climb the stairs leading out of the Tunnel.
When they made it to the top, Spandam started laughing.
"This is it, the 'Bridge of Hesitation'." He pulled Robin up. "Take a look, Robin."
Robin looked forward, and her eye's widened seeing the gate's opened slightly.
"I've finally made it, I'll admit it was scary for a moment there, but as soon as I walk through those gate's I'll be the Government's hero...No, I'll be the entire world's hero," Spandam finished before hearing something.
He looked towards the horizon and the bridge began to rise out of the sea, water flowing and gushing off it until there were only small amounts of puddles. Creating a path that led to the Gates of Justice.
"You hear that? That's the bridge rising up to connect us to the other side." He started pulling Robin across the bridge. Robin head-butted him and tried running.
"You bitch," Spandam hissed and drew out his sword. "Funk-freed, get her,"
The sword's blade shot forward and morphed into an elephant's head. The bladed tusks sliced over Robin's shoulder and blood splatted out. Causing Robin to collapse to the ground in pain.
Spandam walked over and stomped on her head.
"What a foolish and stupid bitch you are. Did you think you could get away from me? The Hero of the entire world?" Spandam asked as he continued to stomp on her head over and over. Robin curled up, trying to minimize the damage from Spandams constant abuse. But it was hard with her hands still cuffed together.
"I have brought the last demon of Oharra to justice. Once you pass through those gates your Island their evil scholars will no longer plague this world," Spandam laughed.
"I'm Still alive," Robin shot back defiantly.
Anger flashed across his face. He reached down and grabbed Robin by her hair, violently yanking her up. "You won't be for much longer," he retorted "Once you pass through that gate you will die, even if you struggle and somehow manage to survive the horrors and tortures that await you in Impel Down, you will die,"
"Now do one good thing in your life and make me the hero I am meant to be. That is all your good for now," Spandam demanded. He turned away and began to once again drag Robin across the newly risen bridge towards the gates of Justice.
As they walked Spandam noticed that there were no Marines to greet him. This was odd, he was sure he had called ahead and told them that he was bringing Nico Robin for transport. He let out an annoyed Tch.
"Where the hell are the Marines?" He asked "I told them I was coming, they should be lined up and give me a heroes honor,"
Spandam reached into his jacket and pulled out his Den-Den Mushi and yelled into it. "Oi, I'm at the Bridge, where is everyone?"
"Spandam sir," a voice came through "We are on board the transport ship and ready to set sail the moment you arrive,"
"You're onboard the ship?"
"Yes, sir, and awaiting your arrival,"
"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU ONBOARD THE SHIP! DON'T YOU MORANS KNOW WHO I AM?! I AM SPANDAM, THE HERO OF THE MARINES, THE ONE WHO BROUGHT NICO ROBIN TO JUSTICE. GET YOUR ASSES OUT HERE AND GIVE ME THE HEROS WELCOME I DESERVE!" Spandam yelled angrily into the snail.
"Yes sir, right away sir," the marine on the other end responded before the line went dead.
"Useless, the lot of them," Spandam grumbled as he put his Den Den Mushin away. He looked down and Noticed that Robin was looking desperately towards the exit from that they had taken to get to the Bridge. As if she was willing for Luffy or one of the others to appear.
A sadistic grin formed on Spandams face.
"Still believe those pathetic B-grade Pirates will save you? Even if they make it here, they still won't save come to save you, I've had that corridor lined with C4. The second those pirates make it past where Lucci is standing guard…BOOM they go up in smoke and the tunnel floods," Spandam laughed "their deaths will be on your hands,"
Robin began to cry once more as Spandam dragged her to the other end of the bridge. The Marines were coming up and getting in line and standing to attention.
"I've done it, I'm the greatest. I'm the greatest," Spandam cheered as he walked. The Marines gave him a salute as he passed.
"Everyone watch closely, with one step I go down in history," Spandam declared, and he took one more step only for something to slam into the back of his head and explode. The force of the Explosion threw him forward and he fell down the stairs.
The marines were momentary shocked, and at that moment of hesitation shots was fired rapidly at the Marines from an unknown location. They looked around but there was no one on the Bridge of Hesitation and the only ship that was around was the one waiting to Transfer Robin.
Spandam immediately dashed back up looking for the source of the fire.
"Who's shooting? Where is the sniper?" Spandam demanded "Hurry and return fire all of you,"
"We want to, but no one's around," a marine cried out before he was knocked down by an exploding shot.
"We can't find the sniper," another yelled.
"What do you mean you can't find them?! We're on a bridge in the middle of the ocean, there is nowhere to hide!" Spandam yelled.
Robin watched as shot after shot sailed past her and hitting the marines with deadly accuracy. She too looked around trying to figure out where the barrage was coming from but the directions of the bullets were coming back from the main part of the Island.
A marine pulled out some binoculars and started to scan the horizon.
"Ah, Sir I see the sniper," he reported.
"Then fire back," Spandam demanded "Kill the sniper now,"
"We can't,"
"Why not,"
"Sir…the sniper…they're on top of the Tower of Justice!" The marine declared.
"WHAT!" Spandam screamed.
"How the hell is he hitting us accurately from so far away?" Spandan demanded "Hurry and take him out,"
"We can't, our guns don't reach that far. Even if they did, with the distance and the wind factoring in we'd be unlikely to hit him accurately," The marine with the binoculars pointed out "whoever that is, they are the most amazing sniper I've ever seen,"
Robin looked towards the tower and sure enough, she could only just make out a small figure buy the now burned away flag. She smiled in relief, the Marine was correct, Usopp was amazing. He did not look like or act like much of a Pirate, he was a compulsory liar and a coward. But there was no denying his talent for long-ranged attacks. If Usopp was alive then the others must be too. That meant they were still coming; the Straw Hats would not abandon her.
While Spandam was yelling he got hit in the face again by one of Usopp's more creative homemade ammunition.
In the confusion, Robin took the opportunity to run back towards the connecting tunnel. She didn't care if it was booby-trapped, she just needed to getaway. As she ran a large explosion burst from the tunnel and robin stopped and so did the barrage of protective shots. Unfortunately, the explosion also made Spandam noticed Robin's retreat and used Funkfreed, his elephant sword to stop her and the blade sliced her across the shoulder knocking her down.
Robin cried out in pain and collapsed to the ground.
"Oi, shoot her," Spandam ordered.
"But sir…"
"It's fine, I've got permission from Admiral Ajiko," Spandam lied "Plus she's a criminal, take her out,"
The marines aimed their rifles at Robin and they all fired at once. Robin could only watch as the bullets came towards her. Time seemed to slow down as she realised this was how she would die. Alone and a prisoner of the marines.
A flash of colours and blue dashed past her and the sound of bullets hitting something hard and metal echoed across the bridge. Robin could only stare as Franky had appeared and taken the blow for her.
"F…Franky?" Robin gasped.
"You alright, sorry we're a bit late but we came to get you," Franky declared.
"We?" Robin asked.
"Whew, that was too close," a voice said from behind her "Greetings Belladona, I apologise for keeping you waiting all this time,"
The look of horror on Spandams face should have been more satisfying to Robin, but she had a look of equal fear on her face as well. Robin's blood went cold, she knew that voice, she hesitantly turned her head to see walking towards her was a man in a white hooded robe.
"No…no…why…why is he…" Robin stuttered out. Of all the people who she thought would be on this Island, this man was not one of them.
"Well, you took your sweet time,"
"Apologies amigo, I was a little distracted trying not to die from an explosion," Ezio responded in an annoyed tone. "I told you the stairs were rigged with explosives. I pointed each one of them out, why did you have to trigger each bomb?"
"Because it's SUPER Manly to do so…also I wanted to stick it to the Marines," Franky declared and flexed in his SUPER pose.
"There are safer ways to stick it to the marines than setting off their own bombs," Ezio responded casually. He then glanced back at the stairs "I just hope that tunnel does, not flood otherwise we and the Straw Hats will be cut off from each other,"
"But none of them are as dramatic or would have looked as cool," Franky argued.
Ezio let out a sigh. "I can't argue with that…had you told me that you wanted to be dramatic I could have assisted in setting off the bombs in a sequence that would have made for a rather impressive entrance with us walking away from the explosion in the background,"
"You could have done that?!" Franky asked. He then turned to the marines "Hey you lot, set up some more explosives so we can do that,"
It was only now that Franky noticed the looks of horror and terror on the marines and Spandams faces. They were all frozen in shock.
"What's gotten into them?" Franky asked. He then turned to look at Robin. "Hey, Robin what's up with…" Franky trailed off as he noticed Robin held the exact same look and was staring directly at Ezio.
Franky was very confused and he looked back and forth between the marines and Ezio. Ezio in the meantime had bent down behind Robin and was using the keys Franky had obtained on her handcuffs. However, neither of them fit.
"Oh dear, Franky neither of these keys fit," Ezio said "I do think it would be wise to try to pick this lock either,"
"Guess we need to wait for the others to get here," Franky shrugged. Ezio stood up and glanced back towards the tower of Justice and then back at the Marines "But man I got to say that everyone is acting weird,"
"Ah, that is likely because of me," Ezio claimed and he stood up "I tend to get this type of reaction all the time,"
"Really, why?"
"Si, I am just that handsome," Ezio claimed light-heartedly and raised his arm with his hand facing the tower of Justice "as for waiting for the others, there is no need," suddenly Ezio maneuverer his hand and caught something small in his palm, whatever it was had been shot from the tower of Justice. "They have already been delivered," he smiled.
Ezio pulled his arm in and opened his hand to reveal a small palm-sized bag, he handed it to Franky and inside held the three other keys. It was at this point that Spandam snapped out of whatever shock he was in, seeing all 5 keys in one place shook him to his core. If Franky had all 5 keys, that meant the 5 CP9 agents back in the tower of Justice had been defeated.
"No…No, no no no no," Spandam cried out. Gaining the attention of everyone. "You can't have all 5 keys, that means…that means,"
"CP9 have been defeated," Ezio finished "and now it's your turn,"
The cuffs on Robins's hands clanked to the ground as Franky removed them. Robin stared at her now free hands and she felt her power and energy coming back to her. Blood drained from Spandams face.
"Oi, what are you all waiting for, get up and kill them, Kill Nico Robin and Kill that man," Spandam ordered "Protect me at all costs,"
"Sir…we…can't…that's…that's" a marine stuttered out in fear.
"Do it Kill him now,"
"But Sir…that's…THE MENTOR OF THE BROTHERHOOD!" the marine screamed out in terror.
Franky froze and stared at Ezio in shock. He had of course heard to the Assassin Brotherhood, everyone on the Grand Line had heard of them. A secret group that had no motive or pattern to killing their targets, members so skilled that no one knew who they were or how they operated. Only that there was no hiding from them, if you drew the brotherhood's eye then your days were very numbered.
Franky remembered reading a few years ago the government launched an all-out assault on the Brotherhood's base. All three Admirals and every Shichibukai was involved, he also remembered a few very highly dangerous pirate crews had also signed on to help with the raid; every resource the government had was spent in preparing for that raid. Two extremely powerful Yonkus even personally got involved.
But the raid had flailed, from what he remembered every single person had of that particular event had been wiped out. To add salt to the wound no one had died, once everyone came too, the Brotherhood had already left their Island with and taken all of their secrets and knowledge with them.
It was one big embarrassment for everyone involved…except the Brotherhood; the most skilled and deadliest of members who led the Brotherhood was called the Mentor. No one knew the Mentors' face or Identity.
Franky did not believe it, Ezio could not be the same person as the one he read and heard rumors about. But…if it was true then, he and the Straw Hats had allied with the deadliest and one of the most wanted men in the world.
"Is it true? Are you the Mentor of the deadliest underground Guild of Assassins in the world?" Franky asked.
"Si, I am but don't go spreading it around," Ezio requested giving Franky a wink and brought his index finger up to his lips "it's a secret,"
Spandam continued to stare and then a grin formed on his face and he started laughing. His laughter drew the attention he could not help himself but laugh insanely at the situation.
"HAH HAHAHA…this explains everything…" Spandam laughed.
"What's gotten into him?" Franky wondered.
"Oh, now it all makes sense. The pirates didn't defeat Lucci and the others, it was you wasn't it," Spandam accused and pointed a finger at Ezio "you're the one who got the keys, here I was starting to worry about a band on nobody's and when it was all you,"
Ezio stared at Spandam and then grinned.
"Apologies senior, but I must correct you. It was not I who acquired theses keys," Ezio stated "it was the Straw hat pirates who defeated your agents and won these keys,"
"You're bluffing, that band of scum could not ever compete with the likes of CP9,"
"But they did, in fact, I did not participate in any of the battles as I have spent the last 20 minutes looking for the passage here and ensuring the safety of two very young and very bright children," Ezio explained "Besides, I would never dream of picking a fight with CP9 or you. I wouldn't want to sully my blades with your worthless blood,"
"Ha, you're just scared of their strength," Spandam
"Hardly," Ezio snorted "no, I am not afraid of them it's just you and your little band of wannabe assassins are just not worth me or my orders' attention. Besides what gentlemen would I be if denied a lovely Bella of her revenge,"
"Revenge?" Spandam asked. Suddenly several arms spouted from his body and it was only now that he remembered that Robin had been freed.
"Oh, you evil Bi…"
"Clutch," Robin cut Spandam off and snapped his back. The director of CP9 fell to the ground limply and her hands disappeared.
"Good job, he deserved that," Franky approved.
"He did," Robin agreed. She then looked over at Ezio cautiously. "You mentioned two children, was one of them a young boy with brown skin and black hair?"
"Si, that is Connor," Ezio smiled "I left him and a very adorable young girl in the care of the girls' Grandmother,"
"Don't worry, Konkro will take care of them both," Franky assured "She's very responsible despite the amount she drinks,"
Robin nodded. It was assuring to know that Connor was safe and out of danger. If it was true that all CP9 agents apart from Lucci had been defeated. Then Connor would be safer in the tower of Justice than on the Bridge of Hesitation.
"Come on, let's go clear out that ship Spandam brought, we'll use it to get off this Island once the rest of the Straw Hats catch up," Franky advised.
Franky started walking towards the opposite side of the bridge and Robin followed him. After a few steps, she looked back to see that Ezio was not following. In fact, the Mentor had turned to the east and was staring out to sea. Robin turned her gaze to the horizon but did not see anything out of the ordinary. She was about to ask what Ezio was staring at however the sound of an explosion beat her to it. All of a sudden cannonballs rained down on different parts of the Fence surrounding Enis Lobby were gone with columns of smoke coming from them. Once a good portion of the fence had been removed and destroyed did the cannon fire stop.
"What was that?" Franky asked in panic. Looking around for an enemy.
"We're out of time, the Battleships are here," Ezio agreed gravely.
"Battleships?" Franky asked in confusion.
"It's the Buster call," Robin whispered.
Ezio nodded and looked out towards the horizon. "Si, it is…they have arrived,"
There on the horizon, emerging from the sea fog and coming thought the gates of Justice was a line of ships, they were still a fair way out but it was easy to see their white sails and they were heading directly to Enis Lobby and with the Fence now gone there was nothing stopping them.
