A/N: We are way too close to the end.

'One last cup of coffee?'

'One last cup of coffee,' I agreed. 'Well, tea for me.'

We sat down on my cabin floor, between all of the stuff that was strewn around. If you didn't know better, you would think I was leaving for a few years instead of for a few days.

We got out our thermos flasks and poured our drinks into the little metal cup. Will smiled. 'You should make pictures. Lots of them.'

I nodded. 'I will. My cellphone has a camera.'

Will took a sip of coffee. 'Are you really, absolutely sure you got everything you need?'

'Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, cellphone, extra clothes, extra extra clothes you made me take along, Euro's, passport.'

'Water bottle? Deodorant? Map?'

'Check, check, check.'

'Light armour? sword? Drachmas? Prism to create a rainbow? Plane ticket?'

'Yes, plus the sun pendant you gave me.' I patted the top of my backpack. 'This bad boy can fit so much trash in.'

He chuckled, but I could see the worry in his eyes. 'Yes.' We both took a sip.

After we had finished our drinks, I picked up my backpack and left my trashy cabin for what it was. I'd clean it once I got back.

The car was already waiting for us by the entrance of camp half-blood. Dionysus stood next to it. 'Are you ready?'

'Are you?'

He shook his head. 'No. Now get in the car or you'll miss your plane.'

I wrinkled my brow. 'Will I really be travelling by plane, though?'

Dionysus shrugged. 'You should at least get into the car.'

Alright then. I grabbed Wills' hand.

'Wait!'

I looked around - Percy. Dionysus sighed and leaned against the car again.

Percy pulled me into a hug. 'I heard about the plan. Good luck, Nico.'

'Is nothing a secret in this place?'

'You should bring back gifts.'

I snickered. 'Of course.'

I heard someone cough. I looked past Percy. Pollux, wearing a pair of sunglasses. 'Can I say what I want too?'

'Do you have permission to talk to me?'

'You confiscated my phone the last few days, so yes. Also, I wouldn't dream of asking permission even if you were Zeus.'

'That's a lie.'

'That's well-raised,' Dionysus muttered behind me.

'Anyway,' Pollux went on, 'I got you a record of your relatives.' He held up a notebook. The pink ribbon was in it. 'It has a few passages from the genealogy book. Just in case.'

'What if I lose it?'

'Just don't lose the ribbon. I worked very hard to get those numbers.'

I turned to Dionysus. 'If he is so well-raised he could have been less cryptic than you are.'

Pollux sighed. He took of his sunglasses for a moment. 'Succes, Nico.'

'Thanks. Don't die in my absense.'

'I can't promise anything.'

'Same goes for you, Percy.' He shrugged. You clearly can't rely on anyone in camp Half-blood.

Will opened the car door and I got in. Dionysus said something to Pollux. The blond kid smiled, after which the god got into the car.

'There aren't any airports this way,' I declared. 'Also, my flight would have departed at eight. It is seven-fifty already. There is no way I will be taking a plane.'

Will slowly nodded. 'So, why are you driving us?"

'Perhaps I wanted to talk to both of you,' Dionysus said from the front. 'You, Nico, who I actually care about, will be going on a four-day-trip. Perhaps I am just worried as the two of you clearly are.' It was silent for a bit. 'That being said, Nico, if you are in danger, or even just lonely, you should call. As in, not with a phone, but physically call.'

'Pray.'

'Basically. Although I wouldn't call it that.'

'But it is praying.'

'Whatever you want, Nico. Anyway, call. Don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.'

'I won't.' I stroked my backpack with two fingers.

'Make sure you eat enough.'

I pointed at Will. 'He already told me all this.'

'And I am telling you again.'

'Hm.' I sighed. 'I know it is a huge sign of trust that you let me go. I won't break that trust.'

'I know you won't.'

For five minutes, we rode in silence, until Dionysus stopped the car. 'Of course I am not letting you travel by plane. It is very easy to teleport to Italy.' We got out of the car.

Will pulled me close and kissed me on the mouth. 'See you in a few days, Nico.'

'Yes.' I squeezed his hand, trying to look brave. Then I took a deep breath and let go.

Dionysus looked at me, arms crossed. 'Ready?'

'As I'll ever be.'

He slowly nodded, before gesturing me to close my eyes. I did, felt a light touch on my shoulders and a swirly feeling in my stomach. Suddenly the air around me felt warmer. I opened my eyes. I wasn't in the woods outside camp Half-blood anymore, but rather in the exit terminal of an airport. Foggia 'Gino Lisa' airport, I saw.

I looked to the side. Dionysus was looking around. He sighed. 'Good luck, Nico.' I blinked, and the next moment I was all alone.

A/N: The title is based on a Bob Dylan song.

ACTUALLY I split this chapter into two. One part right now, and a second part in three days. The next chapter will show Wills' feelings on the whole deal, after that it will be three chapters of Nico's shenanigans in Italy.
