Chapter One

The Moon, cold, slow and silent; a place so devoid of sound, air, and life. However, one strange lifeform seemed to roam and scurry along its terrain with any hint of concern. Perched among the small craters, a golden three-headed terror crouched quietly, might bat-like wings stretched and folded back, and its two tails swept through the ground behind.

After an endless venture, the creature spotted a noticeable and familiar object peaking above the lunar horizon. A small blue and white sphere, its bottom half concealed by nightly darkness while its top was illuminated by distant sunlight. Recognising the planet, each head sneered and grinned before the beast opened up its wings, vast and wide, and launched itself into the airless void, setting the controls for the heart of the Earth...

Meanwhile elsewhere, a rhythmic bleep forced the two women from their peaceful sleep and tranquillity. The ringing buzzed in their ears, causing both to groan in reaction. The older woman, a dark brunette of fair skin in a black sports bra and matching boxer shorts, lifted her hand to silence it, slamming on the bedside drawer once, then twice, and finally shutting it up on the third.

Rubbing her eyes, the elder woman spotted the sunlight streaking through the blinds before looking down to see her lover, a younger and rather lighter brunette of equally fair skin in a white bra and briefs, laying still and close with arms wrapped around her.

"Is it morning already, Jun?" the younger woman sighed, slightly loosening her wrapping grasp around her girlfriend.

"Seems so, Kazumi," the elder replied.

Gently slipping free from Kazumi's relaxed grip, Jun let out a yawn as she stretched her arms out and wide. Getting out of the bed and stripping herself free, she soon stepped into the small bathroom and switched on the shower to meet warm running water. Meanwhile, Kazumi rustled her hair and shifted aside the bedsheets before getting up and flexing out her thin limbs.

A few moments had passed before the sound of shower water running had ceasing and Jun emerged from the steaming shower. Pulling open her drawers, she found a good sports bra and panties to fit and suit her. A few more moments later, Jun already put on her purple T-shirt and black trousers as Kazumi scrubbed her teeth with brush and toothpaste.

"You ready, Kaz?" Jun asked.

A few minutes had passed before Kazumi spat out the blue toothpaste foam into the sink. "Whenever you are, love," she replied as she splashed some water to her face.

With that, Kazumi freshened up herself and put on her usual student uniform. Once they were washed up, dressed up and ready, the two women gave a sweet kiss on the lips before heading out of the door and going on their way. Out in the sunlight morning, they got into their car and drove off. The day would seem normal like any other, however they would learn that things can easily change...
