Borg Tower, 8:02 A.M.
Lloyd entered to see his friends, his team, back together after 2 months.
"Hey, there he is," Kai said, greeting Lloyd with a fist bump. "You're late."
"Kai was late too, if is any consolation," Zane added, making Kai feel embarrassed.
"Thanks for meeting me here. It's been a while since we've been under one roof," Lloyd thanked. Just by hearing his voice, made Nya giggle a bit, making Lloyd confused. "What?"
"Are we going to talk about it?" Jay asked, leaning forward.
"Talk about what?" Lloyd asked.
"You're voice, it's..." Cole said.
"Lower," Zane said, finishing Cole's sentence.
"Sounds like our little ninja's growing up!" Kai teased.
"Leave him alone!" Nya told her older brother. "Any word from your mother yet?"
"Not since she went looking for Master Wu. I don't know where she is," Lloyd replied.
"She'll come back, Lloyd...and so will Wu," Cole said with determination.
"Not everyone comes back, Cole. But that isn't why I call you here. I call you here because of this," Lloyd said, as took out a iPad, which showed video footage of Michael dancing during the heist.
"Come and get your love! Come and get your love. Aww yeah! Hey!" The recorded Michael sang, which made the other 5 Ninja confused.
"This is what you called us for?" Jay asked.
"What is he 15?" Nya added, which made Lloyd look at the pad.
"Sorry, wrong one," Lloyd apologizing, then showing the symbol of Garmadon's face art.
"You're father...Lord Garmadon?" Cole asked in surprise.
"After poking around, I learn that it's the symbol to..." Lloyd explained.
"The Sons of Garmadon," Zane added. "A mysterious criminal syndicate growing in Ninjago City."
"72 hours ago, which was New Years Day, they stole a powerful relic from Cyrus Borg. Possibly what that kid was after as well. Some mask..." Lloyd explained, before being cut off by someone.
"Not just some mask..." A man said, who had black tied up hair, dark green sleeves, light green robes, and a black eyepatch, walking into the debriefing. "The Oni Mask. There are only three in existence."
"Wait, I'm confused. How can there be three masks, when you said it's the only mask?" Jay asked, stupidly.
"Not "only", Jay. "Oni"," Nya corrected her fellow ninja and boyfriend.
"The Oni are said to be all-powerful beings. Demons that predate Ninjago," Zane informed the team.
"Each masks embodies one of the three Oni Warlords. If all three masks are united, whomever owns them will wield tremendous power," The man added.
"Ninja, this is Mr. Hutchins. Master of Arms and Counsel to the Heisei Royal Family," Lloyd introduced.
"The Royal Family?" Kai asked.
"Apologizes if you're not familiar. They honor their privacy, as they do for the safety for Ninjago," Hutchins said.
"Let me guess, they have an Oni Mask too?" Cole assumed.
"Two?! Now there's two?!" Jay asked, which made Nya cover his mouth and smiled awkwardly.
"The Emperor will be delivering a public speech tomorrow, and I'm worried the Sons of Garmadon might steal the mask. As for the security footage I've watched, that boy could stupidly get himself caught if he sets one foot inside the palace," Hutchins said.
"So he's an idiot?" Kai asked.
"A possibility. Anyways, we could use your assistance, that is if you can keep a low profile," Hutchins requested.
"We are Ninja (uncloaks). No will know we are there," Zane informed Hutchins.
"Just tell us where and when," Lloyd said, bowing in honor.
I know I said that the second half of Day #4 would be published yesterday, but something came up. I'm also trying to write two stories at the same time. Also, the Heisei Royal Family, is the reference to the Heisei Era of Japan. This will be explained later on in the series. Now onto the reviews.
