BLOOD FUED
PART 1. HAMATO YOSHI
JAPAN
In the year 1976, Hamato Yoshi was born to Hamato Insi and Aiyo. Both citizens of the Foot Clan or the Ashi Ichizoku. The Foot Clan rule three provinces in the Uki country district. As tribute Yoshi is given over the Foot Clan to be trained as a Ninja at the age of five. For twenty years Hamato trained in the art of weapons, poisons, hand to hand combat and the secrets of stealth and invisibility. The top students are Yoshi, Uri, and the brothers Oroku Nagi and Saki.
The Acolytes start their day off with deep meditation. Then they eat a breakfast of fish, boiled eggs and noodles; Then they learn history, math, and languages of the world. Afterwards it is weapons training for two hours, then hand to hand combat for two more hours. Lunch is served next then more meditation. Next is poison training for two hours, all lessons are for two hours and start at sunrise or 6AM. They practice the art of stealth and invisibility; finally they end the day with tests to show what they have learned.
The aforementioned four Ninja Acolytes stand before their Master, "The four of you are the best students. From hence forth you shall be trained in the highest arts of Ninjitsu…For one day one of you will become Grandmaster of the Foot Clan." The brothers Nagi and Saki work together so that one of them could become the Grandmaster.
One day while in a village near the Foot Clan temple Yoshi sees a beautiful young woman named Emica and the two fall in love. Emica is of noble birth, but Yoshi is an acolyte of the Foot Clan, so her father does not mind his humble bloodlines. He gives permission to Yoshi to court his daughter. For a year the two grow closer together, then Oroku Nagi sees Yoshi with her and he falls in love with Emica.
The Orokus are of noble birth so Nagi convinces his family to make a deal with Emica's family. "Hello Yoshisan." Nagi says waiting for Yoshi at the meeting spot that he and Emica often visit.
"Nagi! What are you doing here?"
Nagi throws him the jeweled necklace he gave her, "My family is of noble blood…And you a commoner and as a commoner, you are unworthy of such a beauty. My father has spoken to Emica's father. She is to be my bride. Do not speak her again or face my wrath."
"We are both brothers of the Foot Clan…And Emica is a modern woman…We are soul mates…She is free to choose whom she will."
"You have been warned."
Yoshi did not fear Nagi and using his stealth skills sent Emica a message. She agrees to run away with him to America. With her permission Yoshi steals valuables from Emica's family to sell. Then they meet at the docks to stowaway on a ship. "Promise me Yoshi that one day we will come back."
He nods, "I promise."
That is when Nagi appears, "Yoshi!"
"Nagi!"
He points at Emica, "You are a whore! Unworthy of your family titles and power…That you would consort with this dog."
"The dog here is you…A mangy animal pretending to be an Eagle!"
"DIE!" Nagi strikes first with a leaping kick, but Yoshi shoves Emica to the side and blocks the attack by crossing his arms over his chest. He back flips and draws a sword. "AAAHHH!" He rushes again swinging while enraged. Yoshi dodges his attacks, ducking side stepping, and leaning away. When he sees an opening Yoshi gut punches Nagi sending him to his knees and then he takes his weapon.
"This fight is over…I will spare your life for we are brothers of the Foot Clan."
"I spit at your mercy." He reaches into his robe as he spits. "And if I can't have her! Neither will you!" Nagi draws three ninja stars and throws them at Emica.
"NOOO!" Yoshi cuts of his hand and leaps after the throwing stars. He manages to knock two of them away, but the third catches Emica in the throat. Blood gushes as Yoshi lands, dropping the sword and catches her in his arms.
Blood spurts from her mouth, "Yo…s…hi…"
"Emica no!" he says pulling the throwing star from her throat. She dies in his arms.
From his knees cradling his ruined hand, Nagi laughs. "You should have…" The words stop in his mouth as Yoshi scoops up the sword and throws it like a spear into Nagi's chest. As Nagi dies Yoshi returns his attention to Emica and mourns over her lifeless body. After a long while he places her body in a car and then places Nagi's body in the trunk of the car and drives to the Foot Clan Temple.
Yoshi goes before the Grandmaster and then he brings Yoshi before the court of Master Ninjas to be judged. Emica's family is present as well. "…Nagi attacked me to shed blood. I defended myself and disarmed him. When I commanded him to yield he would not.." He takes a deep breath, "That is when he threw the stars at Emica…I cut off his hand and was able to stop two of the stars…The last caught her in the throat and she died…When Nagi began to laugh, I became enraged and threw his own sword into his chest killing him."
"LIAR!" Saki yells standing up.
"Sit down Sakisan." Master Yajami commands.
"I swear it on my blood and the code of the Foot Clan."
The Elders stand up, "We shall speak in private and give our judgement."
After the Elders leave Saki walks up to Yoshi, "You killed my brother…I shall have my revenge."
"Your brother had no honor and died for trying to take what was mine by right…Continue this and you will join him."
After an hour the Elders return, "We have weighed the evidence and the testimony given. Both Yoshi and Naki were in the wrong…Yoshi for abandoning his oaths and running away. Nagi for attacking a brother of the Foot with the intention to kill. Furthermore the throwing stars that killed Emica belonged to Nagi…If he truly loved her he would not have killed her…Hamato Yoshi…You are excommunicated from the Foot Clan…You may take all your possessions and leave Japan. Never return."
"This is not Justice!" Saki yells, "My brother is dead!"
"This is our judgement Saki! Do not question our wisdom."
Many hours later Grandmaster Shindo personally escorts Yoshi to the airport, "I have arranged for a private plane to take you anywhere in the world you wish."
"Thank you Grandmaster."
"It was my wish that you become the next Grandmaster."
"I…You honor me." He hands Yoshi a scroll, "What is this?"
"The highest form of Ninjitsu…It is called the Sato Oshi Strike…It was created by the founder of our Clan Oshi Sato. I believe you have the skill to unlock its secrets…This blood feud you started with Oroku Saki is not over."
"Thank you Grandmaster."
"Where will you go?"
"To America." Yoshi bows and boards the plane.
PART 2. OROKU SAKI
"This is not Justice!" Saki yells, "My brother is dead!"
"This is our judgement Saki! Do not question our wisdom."
Infuriated Saki leaves the main hall. He goes to his room and punches a hole in the wall. Later he sits on the roof of the barracks watching as Grandmaster Shindo and Yoshi get into a car and drive off. He takes a motor cycle and follows them to the airport. Then he watches as Shindo hands Yoshi a scroll before boarding the Plane. "I Know you are there Sakisan…Come out!"
"Grandmaster."
"What was your plan? Kill Yoshi before he boarded the plane."
"He killed my brother!"
"And your brother killed the woman he loved…A life for a life."
"I will not rest until he is dead."
Shindo places his hand on his shoulder, "If you leave the Foot Clan without permission…You will be hunted and killed."
As Shindo walks away Saki stares at the plane as it takes off, "Grandmaster…that scroll you gave Yoshi. What was it?"
"None of your concern."
After Shindo leaves Saki jumps on his motorcycle and drives back to the Foot Clan Temple. Not long after Saki is given a mission to kill Boss Moto Itsu. Itsu likes to visit the Red Sun Massage parlor. Before entering the club his bodyguards inspect the place before Itsu enters. Saki is hiding in the hot tub under water. His ninja suit allows him to blend into the water and the sides of the hot tub. There are two women with him as gets into the round tub naked.
Before the woman can do anything Saki stabs him in the back killing Itsu. The women scream as blood fills the tub. "Get out!" The head bodyguard screams. The women jump out of the tub still screaming and run as the bodyguard and his men fire their guns into the hot tub. Saki leaps up out of the water throwing ninja stars killing four of the five bodyguards.
He grabs the beam on the ceiling and stares down at the last bodyguard wielding a Katana. "You have skill…and you wield a Katana…Were you trained by Samarai?"
"I was Ninja and you will die!"
Saki throws a smoke pellet and dives into the smoke drawing his sword. In the mist of the smoke cloud the swords clash. When the smoke clears the bodyguard is still alive. "I have studied the Ninja arts and I know how to counter your tricks Ninja!"
"Then let us face one another in single combat."
"So be it."
With the explosion of a smoke pellet Saki appears and attacks the bodyguard. "Your skills with a sword are impressive bodyguard."
"My name is Shima Tatsu."
Saki swings left and then blocks, then he makes a sidekick, but Tatsu blocks with his arm and leaps up into a spinning sword attack. Saki rolls under him and as Tatsu is coming down, Saki mule kicks Tatsu to his back, stands up and knocks his sword from his hand. "Well played Ninja…You have great skill…Before you end me tell me your name."
"Oroku Saki…"
"Strike true Oroku Saki."
Saki just stares at him as a plan forms, "How would like to regain your honor?"
Tatsu opens his eyes and looks at Saki, "How?"
"My blood brother was killed, by my Clan Brother…He was excommunicated from my clan…Swear an oath to me and I will teach you the ways of the Ninja and in exchange I will tell you the name of the man who paid for your Boss' death."
With Saki's sword still pointed at his throat Tatsu gets to one knee, "I Shima Tatsu do swear on the blood of my life to serve Oroku Saki."
Saki takes Tatsu to his family's estate, "My father will shelter and protect you…When I can, I will visit and train you. Three weeks pass before Saki can return to his family home. He stays for three days teaching and training Tatsu the foundations of Foot Clan Ninjitsu. Before leaving Saki gives Tatsu training manuals that he himself had written, so that Tatsu can train when he is not present.
Because of his Samurai discipline, Tatsu is able to learn quickly. After a year Tatsu has the skills of a fully trained Ninja. "The man you seek is named Alexander Rogonauf."
"He's Russian?"
"Yes Russian Mafia…Itsu was sending drugs through a Russian port without paying tribute."
"I will kill this man and avenge Itsu!"
"When you return…You will kidnap acolytes and train them to serve me."
"Yes Master."
It takes Tatsu a month to kill the Russian Mob boss and to cover his tracks he makes it look like the Barinov family did it; which starts a mob war in Russia. "I heard of your exploits in Russia…Well done Tatsu."
"Thank you Master."
"Now begin training my Acolytes."
It started a month later, young children taken in the night. Children between the ages of 13 and 18. Ten in all taken in secret by Tatsu to be trained as Ninja. The children are tortured and threatened into making Oaths to Oroku Saki. Meanwhile Oroku Saki ascends to the title of Chosen One and Heir to the Foot Clan. "You are not pleased with my ascension are you Grandmaster?"
"I will not lie to you Oroku…I am not, but you have earned it. And so as the current Grandmaster. It is my duty to prepare you to take my place. As you such, you have but one final lesson to learn…" He takes him down a hallway to a door that can only be opened by solving a lock riddle. "This is the Foot Clan's greatest secret…A move invented by the founder of our order Sato Oshi…It is called the Sato Oshi Strike or the Demon's Touch…To master this technique…You must take this journey alone…First you must decipher the ancient text and then you will be able to unlock the secret of the strike…"
"Do you know the strike Grandmaster?"
"This technique has not been mastered since the time of Grandmaster Hatti Shanzo…Over a thousand years ago…"
"Then I shall be the one to Master it…"
