YOSHI AND SHANNON

SHANNON

Shannon waits in a small hunting cabin off the main highway. She had packed clothes, food, and her pet turtles. She had left her phone behind per Yoshi's instructions. As she waited, she worried ad feared for the man she loved and the humanoid rat she thought of as a friend, but Yoshi is a skilled ninja who can take care of himself. When someone knocked on the door, she nervously jumped in fear.

"You made it. Where is Splinter?" She asks I concern.

"Waiting in the truck. Do you have everything?"

"Yes…Let's go."

He grabs the aquarium for her and follows her to the truck hidden of the side of the road. They transfer her stuff from the car to the truck and drive off. They head North towards New York. As they drive every now and then she looks at him. He smiles when he catches her, "What?"

"I…I love you." She says.

"And I you."

When he gets tired, she drives. After a ninety-four mile drive they reach only stopping three times. They move into a studio apartment owned by Yoshi. It is already furnished. He uses it for missions under the alias Yohomo Itchi, a traveling computer networker. Yohomo sold the studio apartment to a Mister Kasima a new alias Yoshi created.

"Ad no one knows about this place?" She asks.

"I have safehouses that the government does not know about." He replies.

"What about Splinter? He can't live with us."

"Actually I spoke with Splinter already come with me."

They leave the apartment via the fire escape at night and meet Splinter in the alley. Then they go down into the sewers. After a mile of twists and turns they come to a sewer den. Yoshi had bought an air mattress for Splinter to sleep on. They also bring a battery, operated radio ad some books. They also give him some canned food.

"I don't know if I like the idea of Splinter living down there." Shannon says as they return to their apartment.

"Splinter will be fine and we can visit him as often as possible."

Shannon changes her name to Michelle and gets a job as a pharmacists. While Yoshi works as a security guard. On their off days they visit Splinter to bring him things that will make him more comfortable in the sewer den.

LUCAS PAKE

Three months had passed since Yoshi and Shannon went missing with the rat Splinter. Pake had no doubts that they would not be found. Yoshi is a ninja Master and a Master of disguise, if he did not want to be found then no one would find him. Pake is having a affair on his wife and goes to a bar to meet his mistress for drinks.

The bar tender who serves them is a ninja with the Foot Clan. After three sips from his glass Pake grabs his chest as if having a heart attack. He dies on the floor of the bar. His body is taken to the local morg where another member of the Foot Clan is waiting to give a false report.

YOSHI

Yoshi leaves his job at five pm and catches the subway home. When he arrives Shannon/Michelle is waiting with pizza. They both have the next day off. The window is open for Splinter to enter ad he joins them for movie night. When it is over Splinter heads back to the sewers. Yoshi gets up to make coffee and breakfast. He turns on the news, "And it is official. Hockey star ad legend Casey Jones has been suspended indefinitely from the New York Rangers ad fined ten thousand dollars…"

Just then Shannon walks I and kisses Yoshi. "In other news the President attends the funeral of CIA Director Lucas Pake…Lucas suffered a heart attack at a bar…"

Yoshi stops what he is doing and grabs his laptop. Shannon notices him, "Is everything alright?"

He shakes his head, "No it is not…Pake was assassinated by a ninja."

"How do you know?"

"Look." He shows her his laptop screen. "This is the dark web…"

He looks at her, "Baxter Stockman."

She grabs him in a hug, "Why would he want you dead?"

"Because he is in love with you. And I took you from him."

"Why his brother?"

"Because his brother stole his shares in the company and his invention." Yoshi starts teaching Shannon martial arts and how to defend herself. Then using a burner phone, he calls Michael to warn him. Michael replies that he can't find his brother, but hired a small army of bodyguards to protect him. One of the bodyguards is a Ninja. But the men die in the order they are on the list one every two months.
