THE TURTLES
Splinter uses Yoshi's motorcycle to get back to his den. Upon arriving he builds his dead Master a tomb in the sewers, in the Japanese custom. He mourns his Master and Shannon for four days. Then he hears a noise. Splinter goes back to his den to find four baby humanoid turtles searching through his things. The pale green turtle sees him first. "AAAHHH!" it screams causing the others to scream. They all run to a corner and hide in their shells.
Splinter walks over and stands over them. They are two and half feet tall. "Come out little ones I will not harm you." He patiently waits and after a few minutes the forest green turtle peeks his head out of his shell. Then slowly his arms and hands. He slowly stands up and knocks on the shells of the other turtles.
"Are you hungry?" He motions with his hands to his mouth.
"Hungwy."
Splinter smiles and gets some food out of the cooler. He feeds them bread, roasted chicken, fruit, and gives them water. The pale green one burps. The large dark green turtle hits him. "No…Do not hit your brother Raphael!" Splinter turns on the television for them and they sit before it watching cartoons. After a while the young Turtles fall asleep, retreating into their shells. They wake up again for their evening meal.
The next morning Splinter fixes their breakfast before sunrise. The smell of the food causing them to pop out of their shells. After they eat Splinter begins their education and training. "A please repeat."
"Master, why can't we watch television?" Michael Angelo asks.
"There is a time for television and a time for lessons. This is the time for lessons. Ow say A."
"A…a…a…A." All four say at the same time. Like Splinter the turtles learn quickly. After two hours of learning their letters, he teaches them their numbers. Then he starts their training in Ninjitsu. At noon they break to eat lunch.
The Pale green turtle raises his hand, "Master."
"Yes Michael Angelo."
"Um…how did we get like this?"
"I suppose it is time I told you. Finish your lunch and I will tell you afterwards." After they eat, he grabs the cannister of serum and leads them to Yoshi's tomb. "My Master Homato Yoshi is buried here. He taught me Ninjitsu…Before I was what you see before you I was like the rats that scurry around the sewers, only I lived in a cage and used as an experiment." He takes out of the serum, "This is what changed us from ordinary everyday animals into what we are now.
It was created by a man named Baxter Stockman."
"Master." Donatello says speaking up. "How did your Master die?"
"Master Yoshi's mate…His girlfriend was killed by his nemesis Oroku Saki…" He tells them of Homato Yoshi's past, how they became friends. "I went to the warehouse and arrived just as Saki used the Sato Oshi Strike on my Master…I fought and defeated Saki, but before I could kill him, I heard the sirens. I took my master's body and bought him here."
Splinter smiles as his Turtles show respect and bow. A few days later Splinter notices that the food supplies are running low. When night falls he gets ready to go to the surface. "Master may I come with you?" Raphael asks.
"No stay here all of you. While I am gone Leonardo is in charge."
"Why him?" Raphael asks.
"Do not question me!" Splinter sighs, places his hand on Raphael's shoulder, and says in a gentler voice. "One day you will be a Master, then you will no longer have to obey me."
"We will always need your wisdom Master." Leonardo says.
Yoshi had hidden a large bag of money in Splinter's den. He takes some and heads to the surface. From shadow to shadow he runs. Soon he reaches a store that is closed. He enters through the window after disabling the security system. He places several frozen pizzas into his bag. He grabs fruits, drinks, bread, meat, cereal, milk, eggs, ice cream, and veggies. Splinter leaves a note and some cash for the owner.
He reactivates the alarm, before leaving and returns to his sewer den with the supplies. The food will last two months, but Splinter also buys seeds to plant a garden. He grows cabbages, corn, potatoes, and cucumbers. He uses heating lamps to give them sunlight.
LEONARDO
Each of the Turtles has a different personality. Leonardo is a natural leader and Splinter nurtures those qualities. Leo as his brother Turtles calls him has a serious dedicated mind. He trains in his off times. His weapon of choice, twin Kitana swords. Leonardo has dark green skin with black spots. His eyes are blue.
Leonardo also masters making smoke bombs, picking locks, and other ninja skills. What the Turtles lack I speed against Splinter they make up for in strength. One day out of the week, the turtles can do as they wish. As their skills increase, Splinter starts sparring with each turtle individually, one different days.
Leonardo stands six feet from Splinter, who is armed with a sai and kitana sword. Leo draws his twin swords and attacks first. He incorporates his shell into his attacks, using offensively and defensively. Sometimes he would pull his head or some other limb into his body. Their spar ends with Splinter disarming Leo and placing the sai to his throat.
Leo like his brothers loves pizza, watching soap operas, and playing video games. He takes to riding Splinter's motorcycle through the sewers. He also likes sparring with Raphael arm wrestling, and watching cop shows. Leo can also draw and paint.
RAPHAEL
Raphael's skin is forest green, he is three inches taller than his brothers, and is heavier in the body. Raphael is ruled by his emotions, especially anger. He likes to spend time by himself and likes exploring the sewers alone. He likes to watch weight lifting competitions. Raph as he is called sometimes, looks up to Leo, and secretly wishes he was like him.
Raphael is sitting by a grate that leads into the sewers, he is watching the subway cars and people. Suddenly Michael Angelo comes up on his skate board. "Bro Master Splinter sent me to find you."
"Right." As Michael skates off Raph takes a long walk back to their den. "Master." Raph says bowing.
"You've been watching the humans again, haven't you my son?"
"Yes Master."
He sighs, "I know you wish to go to the surface, but you and your brothers are not ready. Especially you…You still allow your emotions to rule you. Especially anger. Master your anger Raphael and then, there will be no limit to what you can do."
Because of their growing personalities each the turtles have their own rooms near the main den. Splinter had also gotten them each their own televisions. Once a week, they all come together to watch movies on the big screen television. They watch Back to the Future, eat pizza, and pop popcorn. The next day Raph lifts weights, trains in hand-to-hand combat against Splinter, and then he trains with his choice of weapons, the sais.
Raph likes to cook and is great at making homemade pizza. He is also a mechanic and after a trip to the surface Splinter returns with an old motorcycle that needs to be fixed up. Raph is a good mechanic and helps Donatello build and fix things. Everyday before going to bed he works on his motorcycle. Sometimes his brothers help him. "Raphael Splinter says, "And Donatello"
DONTELLO
Armed with a quarterstaff Donatello faces off against Raph who is armed with sais. They call him Donny. He twirls his staff and attacks from a right angle. He spins trying to sweep his brother's leg. They lock weapons and push against one another. Raph is stronger, so Donatello leans back raising his legs and flips Raph over.
But Raph spins on his shell, sweeping Donny's legs. Then he places his sai to his Donny's throat, "Do you yield brother?"
"Yes I yield." He replies. After putting away his weapon, Donny eats with Splinter and his brothers, then he gets to work on the security system for their lair. He plants cameras, makes ninja traps, and motion detectors. Of the turtles Donatello is the most intelligent. He loves to read and write, work on computers, he is also a chemist.
It took three day to build an antennae that will pick up cable TV. "Okay guys, ow we got cable."
"YES" They all say at the same time.
"Donatello! A moment."
He follows Splinter to a tunnel out of earshot of the others. "Yes Master."
"We are running low on money."
"I could hack the bank systems and look for Master Yoshi's aliases. Also I am talking to a company over the web to sell my security program to."
"Yes hack the system."
Donny built his computer system from televisions and other electronics Splinter bought him. He has eight screens connected together. As he works Splinter and Leo stand over his shoulder. "I found an account under the name Yosen Hamat…It is him. I can transfer the money to an account and have them mail us debit card."
Raph and Donny had built drop box into a building near their den. The mail or pizzas is placed into the slot, goes down a tube to the lair. "I think we need a mode of transportation Master. Something for all of us."
"What do you have in mind?"
"Well Master, the city just bought a new fleet of dump trucks. I was thinking we could steal one."
"I will think about it." A few weeks later Splinter leads the turtles to the surface to steal a truck. For the first time they are allowed to go to the surface. Donatello had downloaded a copy of the city's sewer map to get to the dump truck depo. "I smell dogs…Michael you are on backup."
"Yes Master."
"Raphael take care of the dogs."
"Yes Master."
"Leonardo the security guards. The both of you take out the cameras first. Donatello and I will move after you signal us." He hands each of them masks. Raphael and Leonardo go up first. They use sleep darts to take down, the guards and the dogs, after disabling the cameras. Then Splinter and Donatello move into take the truck.
MICAHEL ANGELO
Mikey as he likes to be called came up with all the nicknames for himself and his brothers. Of the four he is the jokester of the group. His antics and tricks sometimes getting him into trouble with Splinter and Raph. He likes cartoons, game shows, and skate boarding. "How fast will it be ready?" Mikey asks as they get out of the truck.
Dontello sighs, "About maybe two or three months. I have a lot of ideas."
In his spare time Mikey likes to skate board through the sewers or play video games. His weapons of choice are two nun-chucks. He is a very skilled fighter, but of all his brothers Michael is the least disciplined. Six months had passed since Splinter poured the serum on them. All four turtles surround Splinter. They had been training as a team, learning to fight individually and together.
"Go!" Leo says giving the command. They attack Splinter from all sides, coordinating their attacks, but Splinter is too fast. Mikey spins around turning his shell to Splinter, his Master's sword, leaves no marks. He spins around swinging his nun-chucks, Splinter deflects Donny staff pushing it into the path of his left nun-chuck.
Mikey goes into a spin kick, but Splinter wraps his tail around his leg and slams him into the wall cracking it. He gets back to his feet ad rejoins the fight. Donny is first to go down, then Mickey. "Ha I lasted longer pay up." He says to Donny.
He hands him a twenty, dollar bill and they watch as Raph and Leonardo keep fighting. "Take him! Take him!" Mikey yells. Raph is taken out of the fight next. "I give him five minutes." Michael says. They watch as Leo unleashes one two combos and foot attacks on Splinter.
"Coming up on five minutes." Donny says.
They all stand up as Leo keep pushing Splinter to the limit. The fight ends, when Splinter knocks his left sword away. Leo counters with a combo windmill, foot-sword attack. They gasp as the fight ends in a draw. Leo's sword at Splinter's shoulder and Splinter's tail spike at Leo's head. "Way to go Leo."
Leo bows, "Master."
"Dude if not for Splinter's tail you would have won." Mikey says. After seeing Leo's near win, Mikey starts training on his own to improve his skills.
