SONYA BLADE

Sonya Blade grew up as an army brat, traveling the world with her father and mother. When she came of age Sonya joined the marines and is the first woman to join Delta Force. Later she was requested by her former Sargent Jackson Briggs or Jax as everyone calls him to join a secret group of specialized soldiers known as FE or Force Elite.

"This is Blade to Silver Falcon come in."

"Silver Falcon here."

"We found it…The secret base of the Black Dragons."

"All units report in." After the units report in Jax fires a rocket at the main entrance. There is a huge explosion and several Black Dragons are shot down by Snipers. Sonya rushes in with her M16 machine gun in hand. She shoots down several men and encounters a Black Dragon man holding a hostage. "All units there are civilians in the building…Watch your fire."

"Let me out of here!" The man yells.

"Let her go and I let you live asshole!" She takes sight and switches a dial on her gun then she shoots a blade into the man's head. Blood splatters on the woman and she screams her head off. Sonya punches the woman knocking her out.

"Anybody got eyes on Kano?" Jax asks over the COM.

KANO

The Leader of the Black Dragons runs through his base trying to get to his helicopter. When he gets to the roof the helicopter explodes after it is hit by a rocket. "KANO!" Jax yells ziplining to the roof of the building.

"Jax old boy long time no see."

"Get down on your hands and knees…NOW!" He tries to reach for his gun, "Give me a reason to put a bullet in your head!" There is an explosion of fire that knocks them to their feet. The ball of fire forms red portal. Both Kano and Jax watch as two men and a red dressed Ninja emerges from the red energy portal. "What the fuck!" Jax says.

"Kano…You have been chosen to represent Out World in the tournament Mortal Kombat." The man in robes says.

"Jax its me…Kin."

"Wow you weren't lying were you."

"Whoever you are! Whatever you are! Put your hands up now!"

"Reptile…take care of that."

Reptile is in his human form. He spits acid through his mask at Jax's gun. He throws it down as it melts into a puddle. Then Reptile leaps at Jax and kicks him in the chest. He hits the ground with his arms out to the side. Then Reptile spits acid on his arms. "AAAHHH!" He screams in pain as the skies turn dark, thunder shakes the sky and lightning arcs across the sky.

Shang Tsung looks up, "It is time to go Kano."

"Let me finish him off."

"No! Now come or face Lord Raiden." Kano follows trio through the red portal and leaves just as Sonya comes onto the roof.

"Jax!" She runs up and kneels beside him, "My God Jax what did they do to you?" She covers her eyes as a bolt of lightning strikes the roof and when the light fades a man in a hat stands where the lightning struck. Sonya stands up drawing her gun, "Who are you?"

"I am Raiden, god of lightning and thunder…Protector god of the Realm of Earth."

"Get down on your knees whoever you are!"

He starts walking towards her, "You are chosen Sonya Blade…I need you to come with me. I will not harm you."

"Stay back! Last warning crazy man." When he does not comply she shoots him once in the leg.

"I cannot be harmed by mortal weapons Sonya Blade…" She shoots him again, this time in the chest. Then Sonya's gun is electrified and she drops it.

"That is impossible."

"You have a Dragon mark on your lower right of your back." He says.

She tries to contact her fellow soldiers through her radio, but there is static. Then she looks at him, "Say I believe you…Can you help my friend?"

Raiden walks up to Jax and kneels down beside him, "This is the work of the creature known as Scorpion." Raiden places his hand on Jax's chest. He screams in pain as lightning jumps across Raiden's hand. Then lighting extends from where his arms use to be and metal grows behind the arms.

"Whaaa…What did you do to him."
"He will recover, but I must take him and you back to my temple. Will you come?"

"Yes." In flash of lightning they all vanish and reappear in the temple of light.

SHANG TSUNG"S FORTRESS

Kano drinks Jinsei force waters of Outworld. He screams in pain as a piece of metal grows over his right side of his face and eye. The eye glows red and he shoots a red laser from it. "Outstanding!" Shang Tsung says clapping.

"What the fuck was that?"

"Your Jinsei force power…I sense other abilities in you…Show me!"

SONYA

Sonya sits at Jax's bedside. He is still unconscious, "The healers say that your friend will live." A woman says behind her. "You should eat something."

Sonya looks back, "Who are you?"

The woman is dressed in a blue and black trimmed ninja uniform. Her long, black hair is in a braid draped over her shoulder, and she has two blade fans one on each hip. "My name is Kitana…I will be one of your teachers after you drink of the Jinsei Force."

"What is that?"

She smiles beneath her mask, "You will see."

"So are you like Raiden…A god."

"No…but I am ten thousand years old. I am originally from the Realm of Edenia."

"Realm?"

"All will be revealed…As soon as Raiden returns."

"Returns from where?"
