JOHNNY CAGE

"And action!" The Director yells through his meg-phone.

Johnny Cage Action film star and academy award winner faces off against four extras. It is the last day of filming the movie Dragon Fist 2. They attack all at once, but Johnny is faster and more agile, he does a split and nut-punches two of the men; one to his left and the other to his right. Then he rolls backwards and leaps up into a spin kick knocking out the third man. He does a three, two, one combo on the last man and poses.

"And cut!" The director announces.

Later Johnny stands on a platform, "I want to thank you all. The Cast the crew, David Miller you're the best…Tonya you are a shining star among many…I hope I can work with most of you on my next movie…So drinks and giggles at my place lets go."

Johnny lives in a mansion on a hill overlooking the beach and the sea in Las Angeles. He has a woman on each arm. They drink, eat, and dance the night away. Meanwhile the skies turn dark and lightning arcs across the sky. Eventually he gets drunk and winds up in bed with a stunt woman. When he awakens from his drunken sleep the woman is gone and a man in a hat stands over his bed.

"Who the hell are you?"

"I am Raiden Johnny Cage…You are one of the Chosen."

"Chosen?"

"You have a dragon like mark on your chest. You were born with it."

He gets up and heads to the bathroom to take a piss, "Look Raydon."

"It's Raiden."

"Whatever. I'm not buying what your selling…Now get out of here before I lose it." When he exits the bathroom Raiden is gone. "Hello!"

"I am still here Johnny Cage." He says appearing behind him in the bathroom.

"How did you…" Johnny says pointing back and forth; shocked by Raiden's sudden appearance behind him. "When did you?"

Lightning starts jumping across Raiden's body and Johnny stumbles backwards and falls. "I am Raiden! god of Thunder and lightning; Protector of the Realm of Earth…You are a chosen warrior. Chosen to defend the realm of Earth in a tournament called mortal kombat…Will you fight Johnny Cage?"

"Yes I'll fight."

THE TEMPLE OF LIGHT

In a flash Johnny is taken to the temple of light and introduced to the rest of the chosen warriors. He meets Lui Kang, Kung Lou, Sonya Blade of whom he has an immediate attraction to, Sub Zero, Shojinko, Night Wolf, Hurai, Lee Cun, and Tomas Vrbada. "These are your teachers. Princess Kitana, Master Bo Rai Cho, and Master Kenshi…They will teach you to use your Jinsei-Force."

Johnny Cage and the other champions are taken to a grotto. Then servants take goblets and take water from the fountain. Each champion is a given a cup. "Now drink from the Jinsei and receive your Jinsei-Force power. When Johnny drinks a green light covers his body and he passes out. When he awakens a servant takes him to the main hall to eat.

After they eat all the champions are taken to a room to meditate. Kenshi instructs them in this exercise. "Mediation will allow you to access your Jinsei-Force…Your power. In Mortal Kombat you will be able to use this power in your fight against your enemies." After four hours of mediation most of which Johnny joked about they head to the training yard.

"So your Sonya Blade. Perhaps you've heard of me."

She rolls her eyes, "Look movie star. Maybe your boyish charms, grin, and looks work on airheaded women, but not me."

"I like it when a woman plays hard to get."

Lui Kang is the first to activate his Jinsei Power. He is able to hurl fire balls, do a flying fire kick, teleport, and channel his chi through his weapon. Seeing Lui Kang use his Chi force motivates Johnny to take his training more seriously. A few days later both Johnny and Kung Lou discover their Jinsei powers. Kung Lou is able to teleport and kinetically control his blade hat. He can also do a spin attack.

Meanwhile Johnny has a green aura, that allows him to shadow kick and throw green balls of energy. It is Kitana who teaches them to defend and block Chi attacks. "Most chi attacks can be blocked or countered, some cannot. Chi attacks channeled through weapons must be blocked with a weapon. Johnny, Lui, and Kung practice their Jinsei powers separate from the rest. But soon they are joined by, Knight Wolf and Shijinko.

Knight Wolf can summon lightning, has a shadow charge, deflect chi attacks, summon energy weapons like a tomahawk, and a bow and arrow. Shujinko can mimic the chi powers and skills of other fighters. After his training session Johnny goes to the meditation room to find Sonya Blade alone. "Still haven't gotten it yet?" She sighs and ignores him, "Maybe if you stopped acting bitchy, you'd be able to access your jinsei."

"Go away!" She angrily replies.

"Oh look emotion. Perhaps you have a heart after all."

She opens her eyes and stands up. She roars and attacks Johnny. He blocks all her punches and kicks, then he grabs her wrists. "Is this what they teach you in the military?"

"Aaahhh!" She breaks his hold and does a spin kick, which he ducks and as Johnny comes up, he grabs her and drops to his back raising his legs flipping her over. He rolls back and lands on top then he kisses her. She roars again and headbutts him.

"Wow you are all bottled up…You need a good…"

She throws her hand out as violet aura covers her hands and eyes. Then a violet bolt of energy flies from her hand. Johnny ducks at the last minute and looks back as a statue is blown apart. "You did it!" Johnny screams.

"I did it!" She runs up to Johnny and kisses him. Then she slaps him and walks away.

"I'm gonna marry that woman one day."
