Chapter 11: Team Vengeance.
( Hokage Office)
Naruko had returned with the scroll, giving it to the Hokage.
"You have done well in returning the scroll.. and killing Mizuki Naruko.." Hiruzen says looking at her ice cold eyes.
"You are very welcome Hokage-sama..." replied Naruko who turned to leave.
"Don't you want to know about your team and your sensei?" He asks as she stopped and turned to him.
"Guess it won't hurt to know who are my teammates." She says
"Well... we haven't found anyone to be in your team but I know a Sensei who would love to be your Sensei." He said with her waiting
"Anko Mitirashi will be your Sensei." He added with her raising a brow.
So Konoha's second hated person is going to be her Sensei. She sees no problem with that. They are both hated here in this village.
"I accept her." Naruko says.
"As for team members... we are still.." He says but she cuts him off.
"I will pick my team members. If memory serves me well Kuchisake Onna-Sensei heard of a girl named Yakumo Kurama from the Kurama clan. From what my Sensei has heard the girl has a gift in genjutsu." Naruko says with the Sandaime looking up at her in shock.
"You want her on your team?" He says as she nodded
"Yes. Since the woman named Kurenai denied her a chance in becoming a Kunoichi. I am willing to give Yakumo a chance." She says
"But Naruko are you sure it's wise to have someone like her on your team, from what Kurenai told me Yakumo's powers in genjutsu is out of control." He says hoping she knew what she was doing.
"Let me be the judge of that. I'll be seeing her right now. She will be my only team mate until I find a another that is worthy to join me." Naruko says walking away
( Kurama Clan District)
Naruko had made it to the Kurama clan District as she walked to the gates seeing the clansmen look at her with fright having heard of the rumors and stories about a Kuchisake Onna possessed girl here in the village and that girl was Naruko Namikaze Uzumaki who is at their doorstep.
"I'm here to see Yakumo Kurama," Naruko says at the two branch members of the clan who let her pass.
As she got into the clan home she was led by more branch members to The head of the clan Yakumo's Uncle who is the current clan head.
"Ah so the rumors are true about you." said Yakumo's uncle who had a cold sweat on his forehead looking at the girl turned Kuchisake Onna.
"What business do you have with me?" The Uncle said looking at her while his clan's men were all nervous and we're on guard looking at Naruko.
"I'm here to see Yakumo Kurama. I'm here to recruit her as my teammate." Naruko answered with many tensing and wincing as every clan member looked towards her Uncle who had a calm yet straight face.
"I'll take you to her." The Uncle says leading Naruko to his niece.
As they made it to her door, Naruko knocked on it.
"Come in."
And so Naruko went inside of Yakumo's room and glanced at the girl who was at the corner of her room with a cold face. Naruko focused on Yakumo's appearance.
Yakumo possesses long brown hair and light brown eyes. Her hair is straight on one side, but on the other side it is in a braid. In addition, she sports a clip with two circular designs. For her outfit she wore a pink kimono held closed by a pink sash with two pockets on the front. She also wore violet baggy pants and red mesh armour underneath her kimono and legs along with sandals that were orange color.
"Who are you and what do you want?" She says coldly glaring at Naruko who stood there with a poker face and no emotion.
"I'm here to recruit you as my teammate Yakumo." Naruko would say with the girl glancing at her with eyes narrowed.
"Recruiting me to join your Shinobi team? Good luck with that. I refuse." She says looking away from Naruko who continued to stare at her with no emotion.
"And pray tell me why refuse such a offer that I'm willing to allow?" Naruko asks with the girl scowling at her.
"Because you just may turn me down just like "she" did! That bitch Kurenai." Yakumo spat Kurenai's name in hatred.
"I heard of your potential In genjutsu from the Sandaime. I would never turn down such a promising Kunoichi with a great gift." She said with the girl still scowling.
Though Naruko sensed Yokai chakra in this room and could see the source of it coming from Yakumo.
"I sense a Yokai within her... " Thought Naruko with her eyes focused on Yakumo.
While the said Yokai within Yakumo tensed and was shivering in fear realizing who her tenant is talking too. The Yokai within Yakumo was not stupid and even saw the familiar Yokai aura around Naruko. The appearance... the scissors or any sharp instrument screamed " Kuchisake Onna!"
"Yeah what of it? I'm not really good with ninjutsu only Genjutsu is what I'm good at until that bitch sealed off my genjutsu powers!" Yakumo says with Naruko stepping forward
"I see, and something tells me the Sandaime had a hand in this." Naruko thought
"Then allow me to help." Naruko says walking to the girl who looked up as Naruko's eyes glowed hypnotically as Yakumo fell into a trance and Naruko became astral and went inside Yakumo's mind.
( Yakumo's mindscape)
The mindscape looked a lot like her bedroom and that was until she saw Yakumo along with another being besides her.
The Yokai had a frightened look on her face seeing the legendary Kuchisake Onna.
"So i was right. I knew I sensed Yokai aura around the girl turns out it's you. Who are you?" Naruko would say folding her arms with the Yokai who looks like Yakumo stare at her.
"I am a Ido." She would introduce herself
"How did you come to be?" Naruko asks with Ido pointing to Yakumo.
"Let me tell you a trade secret. Every kurama clan member who is born with a rare Yokai within them is a special case. I seem to be the only onethat's still alive it's unknown what happened to the other members who possess a Yokai within them. I have a feeling that they were killed off, which made me on edge so I killed the girl's parents fearing that they would kill me and my tenant." Ido explainedwith Yakumo looking at her in shock.
"You killed my parents!!?" Shouted Yakumo as she had believed that the Sandaime killed them in that unfortunate fire believing her as a threat due to her bloodline and Yokai within her.
"I had too! They were plotting to kill us both! All my fellow Yokai brethren that were apart of this clan were killed by those two! Maybe the uncle was probably in on it too!" Yelled Ido defending her reasoning on what had to be done.
"My unclewould never harm me!" Shot Yakumo
"Why not we find out." Says Naruko with the two turning to her.
"How do you mean?" Yakumo asks with Naruko looking at the two.
"We find out his true intentions." Narukowould say.
"But for now let me remove that seal." As Naruko would leave the mindscape
( Outside of the mindscape)
Naruko searched for her seal and saw it as she touched the seal and flared her Yokai chakra into it destroying it.
Power erupted throughout the kurama clan district.
In which caused the alerts of many of her clansmen and her uncle to barge in her room with weapons in hand.
"What's going on? Do you have any idea on what you have done!?" Shouted Her uncle
"Yes. I released the girl's potential for her to use again. And She will be my teammate." Naruko declared with Yakumo looking at Naruko in a new light.
"We can't let you do that." He would say
"Why?" Naruko asks
"Because! She's just like you! We can't afford to have to Yokai's in this village! Our clan has hid this secret of killing every clan member that is born with a Yokai within them! I had begged my brother and his wife to kill Yakumo but like a fool he refused because he loved his daughter so much! If word got out about the secret of our clan we would be humiliated and ridiculed for holding a clan with Yokai spirits! She has to die! She's all that's left of her holding a Yokai." Her Uncle says with Yakumo looked saddened hearing this. Her parents loved her... even Ido inside her felt guilt consume her for killing the girl's parents
"So? You want to kill your niece out of fear of what she has inside her? Humans are always narrow minded for not understanding things." Naruko would say pulling out her knife. The Kurama clan and her uncle charged at the two as Naruko drew first blood by killing 6 of them slitting their throats while the rest tried to gang up on her only for a few to get beheaded and lose their limbs like their arms, legs and fingers.
Yakumo who was watching her future team mate kill her clan she decided to help by unleashing a genjutsu over all of them that made them insane and kill each other.
Her uncle who saw this charged at her with a sword, Naruko leaped on him and pinned him to the ground preparing her knife as she Stabbed him in the neck and then in the face several times with warm red blood splashing on her face and coat.
The Kurama clan were wiped out by both Naruko and Yakumo.
"Let us go. Your coming with me." Naruko says as the two decided to leave
( The Next Day)
The kurama clan was no more and were all killed by Naruko. While Yakumo did help but she left the girl out not wanting those in the village to hate her for killing her clan.
If anything Yakumo deserves to live, she is born with not just a gift of great genjutsu that is enough to kill her enemies. But also born with a Yokai inside her. She's the last one in the clan that carries a Yokai. And will be under Naruko's protection
( Hokage Office)
Hiruzen looked tired as he gave Naruko a look as both he and her had a slight heated argument about Yakumo.
"She will be under my protection. Until further notice." She says with him frowning
"Understandable but did you have to kill off the whole Kurama clan?" He asks with her narrowing her eyes. She didn't tell him that Yakumo also helped killed some of her clansmen that tried to kill her.
"They were going to kill her. Just because she's born with something they fear. Just like how I was condemned into holding the Fox. Her uncle hated her for something that was not her fault but the very demon was to blame for having her parents killed." She says with coldness in her voice.
Hiruzen sighed and shook his head.
"Have you found a third member to join your team with Anko?" He asks
"No. But I have someone to take the spot until I find a third teammate when I go out on my mission." She says turning away
"And who is it?" He asks again with her stopping and gave him a glance.
"My pet dog demon." She answered walking away but stopped
"One more thing. If Kurenai so much as try to come near Yakumo to try and discredit her I won't hesitate to slit that pretty mouth of hers or probably will do something worse." She threatened leaving the office m.
Leaving the old Kage to sigh and grab his smoke pipe.
(Root HQ)
"So the kurama clan been massacred by the Kyuubi jinchuriki turned Kuchisake Onna?" Asks Homura with Danzo nodding while Koharu scowled.
"Yes all except Yakumo Kurama." Danzo answered
"This is getting way out of hand. What are we going to do should she decide to kill us?!" Hissed Koharu with no one answering.
"I'm still coming up with a plan on how to get her under our control and use her as a weapon like she should have been. We could use her to put fear into the hearts of all the other Shinobi villages! But it won't be easy on how this should be done." Danzo says admitting the last part, he really wanted Naruko in root and he wanted her Now! He must have her under his control before she decides to kill him.
He will have her as his rightful weapon with him becoming the new 5th Hokage after controlling her to kill Hiruzen. He's going to need help from the outside village And it's time he asks for a serpent's help in handling the Kuchisake Onna Jinchuriki. And after the said snake proves his usefulness he'll betray him by having Naruko to kill him once he has her under his control. He doubts his Sharingan could control the Yokai/Urban Legend.
For now his root agent Sai will be in Team and will try to monitor Naruko.
He will get what he wants because he is Danzo the true patriot of Konoha.
( The Next day)
Now at the Shinobi academy it was time for the team announcement.
Naruko is present sitting by Yakumo who joined with her. Being silent waiting for the team announcements from Iruka.
"Okay. Team 7, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and Sai Yamada." He said with Sakura not cheering that she's finally on Sasuke's team. The Uchiha just kept his brooding look while the one named Sai was not around he was probably late or something.
"Your Sensei will be Kakashi Hatake." He added.
"Team 8, Hinata Hyuuga, Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Arabrame. Your Sensei is Kurenai yui." He said as Kiba cheered happy that he got Hinata while the girl looked saddened that she wasn't on Naruko's team. While Shino was just Shino.
"Team 9 is still active, how about team 10, Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara and Choji Amakici." He says with Ino not saying anything as she kept her mouth shut. Choji was eating chips and Shikamaru was sleeping.
"Okay last but not least Team 11! Consisting of Naruko Namikaze Uzumaki and Yakumo Kurama!" He added with others looking shocked that Naruko is on the team with Yakumo.
She grinned behind her mask.
"Your Sensei will be-" He was about to say but was cut off when a explosion hit the wall and came a certain Purple haired special jonin.
"Alright team 11! Come with me! The sexy dangerous Anko!" She says with her banner behind her.
Everyone moved a safe distance from Naruko and Yakumo as they walked towards their sensei.
"Alright! Let's move to training ground 44 brats!" She said as they left the room
"And now it begins." Naruko says in thought.
