Chapter two
Minerva McGonagall and Kingsley Shacklebolt both left the memory. They stared at each other for a few minutes before sitting down, but Minerva glanced up at Albus Dumbledore who was staring at them from his portrait.
'You never told him Albus, why?'
'After what Harry had been through, I just couldn't bring myself to tell him that he had to die, not after everything. I just couldn't do that to him.'
'What if Snape died before he gave Harry that memory, he wouldn't have known, none of us would have known?' Kingsley asked.
'I realise that now, since Minerva explain how Severus died. I thought he would have tried to find Harry earlier. He knew how important that information was.'
'From the little Hermione explained, no one could find them Albus. They kept enchantments around then so they couldn't be seen or heard.'
'I see, well at least they survived to finish off the job they needed to.'
'You could have trusted us Albus, when I heard Harry say horcrux, everything made sense. But I do realise how dangerous that information was if Voldemort found out you knew about them. But Harry being one, that makes a lot of sense. All the things he saw, the way he acted, like how he kept getting angry all the time.'
'Yes, they were connected, so when Tom Riddle was angry, Harry was angry, he would feel it. Not just feel it though, it also caused him pain in his scar.'
'I saw him clutch at it a few times. But you should know that he has another one Albus, on his chest. I found him bleeding to death in the boys bathrooms. He decided to change it and made it a lot bigger by doing that.'
'Change it from what?'
'It was another lightning shaped scar Albus, now it's just a big mess. He had a razor blade in his hand when I found him.'
'He probably kept getting reminded of what was inside him. Apart from when he looked into a mirror, he never saw the other one. But also it had been there, been part of him his whole life. This new one was a constant reminder that he kept Voldemort alive. Just so you know though, I worked out he used a horcrux after the incident down in the chamber of secrets. I worked out about Harry during his fifth year here, that is why I refused to look at him. I did not want Voldemort to use Harry to see into my mind, he would have found out that I knew what he had done.'
'Right now Albus, Harry refuses to talk or even look at anyone. Hermione tried, but he didn't talk to her. She even got angry with him, threatened to hex him and he still wouldn't talk to her. He wouldn't even talk to Poppy.'
'Give him time Minerva, I'm sure all this is hard on him right now. That's why I never told him, even if I knew he needed that information, I just couldn't. I knew that piece of news would have been the most difficult for Harry to live with. But tell me, do you think he tried to just change the scar or was he trying to kill himself?'
'Considering the amount of blood, he could have been thinking about both, but I can't say for certain.'
'Then he should be watched, without him realising it of course. Maybe when he heads to the Burrow, they can keep a careful watch on him.'
'I'll mention it to Arthur next time I see him.'
'Minerva,' Poppy stepped into the office, 'Harry's gone.'
'I'll go check the dorm rooms, see if he went back up there. Thank you Poppy.'
'I'll come with you,' Kingsley followed Minerva out of the office and they made their way up to Gryffindor tower. They searched every room and never found Harry.
'He's bag is gone, everything is gone.'
'He really needs more healing before he goes off alone. I'll get some people to keep an eye out for him, but there's not much more I can do right now.'
'You have enough to worry about Kingsley, do your job, I'm sure word will get back to us where Harry is. It's not like he can hide, he's too well known.'
'I know, but for some reason, I just want to find him. I came to care about Harry over the last few years. When Sirius explained what Harry said about the Dursley/s, then how good a person he still was. I just ended up being drawn to him and found how much I like him, but to go through all that he still turned out to be a nice person.'
'Yes, that was one time I felt like cursing some muggles. I realise why Albus left him there and it did keep him safe, but he suffered in that house.'
'He did, at least he never has to go back there again. I just had a thought though, I might hear something about Harry if he goes to Gringotts. I did tell him that we paid the goblins for the damage done to the bank out of the seized death eaters vaults. If he needs money, he will eventually turn up in Diagon Alley.'
'Yes, he would have to, so let's hope he does need some money, then at least we'll know he's okay. But I should return to work, just like you. Both of us are in for some very long days.'
'They already are Minerva and it's only been three days since our war finished. Can you believe it though Minerva. I still have trouble believing Voldemort is dead and this time he can't return.'
'I know what you mean, I sometimes think this has all been a dream. But he is gone and we do know how he was able to return last time, now though, no, he's dead for good,' Kingsley and Minerva left Gryffindor tower. Minerva back to work on the castle, Kingsley back to work running the magical world and even though they were both very busy, their thoughts were on Harry and where he was. But they main feelings for both of them right now was, they hoped he was alright. Now they just hoped they got word on where Harry was, even if he doesn't want to talk, they just want to know that he was going to be okay.
Harry sat in the dark pub, drinking Firewhiskey. At first it made him cough and splutter as the sharp burn of the alcohol passed down his throat, but after his second glass that didn't happen anymore. Finally the alcohol seemed to be numbing him, exactly what he hoped it would do.
Aberforth watched Harry and realise that something was not quite right with the young man. At first he thought Harry would feel happy, relieved that Voldemort was dead. But right now, looking at him, no, he was definitely not happy. While he was in the back room, he told Ariana to let Albus know Harry was at his pub. Aberforth knew his brother, even though he was dead, he would be concerned about Harry, but so would a lot of other people. At least he can let them know where he was.
After a couple of hours, word had spread about Harry Potter being in the Hogshead. A lot of witches and wizards kept turning up and would stare at him. But Aberforth noticed that it was more witches than anyone, some young, like Harry himself, others older. Aberforth would watch them while they watched Harry. The woman seemed to be lusting after him. He'd see it before, the famous always attracted people and Harry was the most famous wizard alive.
When Harry first arrived at his pub, Aberforth had been surprised. But he got a little worried when Harry asked for a room then a bottle of Firewhiskey. From then on, he just sat at the back of his pub drinking.
Harry seemed to get sick of all the staring, he grabbed his bottle and glass and headed upstairs to his room. He sat in the only chair, staring towards the window. He heard the door and saw a woman about twenty five standing there watching him, Harry just turned away. He just didn't have the energy to make her leave.
The woman closed the door then knelt down in front of Harry. She stared into his green eyes, Harry stared at her, but still never said anything. Then the woman started to undo his pants, again, Harry never moved, never stopped her and never made a sound. The woman gave Harry a small smile before lowering her head and started sucking Harry's member, then Harry made a sound, a loud groan. He never spoke, just kept groaning because he couldn't believe some strange woman was sucking him. When he was rock hard, the woman stood up, took her panties off, lifted her skirt and sat over Harry. Again Harry never spoke, just groaned as the woman had sex with him.
After both they had both Harry finished, she looked down at Harry, 'If anytime you want sex, you have a lot of woman willing to oblige right now and a lot of men as well, if you fancy them that is. Now though, I'll leave you to your peace. But I will say this before I go, I don't want anything from you Harry. This was a thank you for making our world safer than it has been in a very long time. You're a cute looking bloke, go have some fun now you can,' she smiled, kissed his cheek then left.
Harry stared at the door for a minute, then looked down at himself. He could see the wetness still around his cock and couldn't believe what had just happened. Harry shrugged, then stepped into the small bathroom that adjoined his room. He stripped off and got into the shower, he let the warm water flow down his body before he started to wash. Then he saw his chest again and even though it looked different, he still knew what it was. Harry quickly finished then went back to his drinking.
Over the next week, things stayed the same with Harry. He stayed at the Hogshead, had women, some his age, some a little older all follow him to his room but he also had blokes. At first Harry was a little hesitant with the men, but found he enjoyed them as well and if he was honest, he liked the blokes body more than the woman's which gave him more to think about. Harry had heard stories of famous people always getting sex whenever they wanted it and even though Harry never really wanted sex, he got it and a lot of it as well. He never did anything, he never spoke, but these women and men didn't seem to care. They just said they wanted to fuck Harry Potter as a thank you, and they did.
Harry was lying on his bed, occasionally lifting his head to take a drink before staring at the ceiling again when the door opened. Harry figured it was a strange woman or man again, but it wasn't.
'Harry Potter,' Luna gave one of her normal serene smiles, she closed the door then sat on the bed beside Harry, 'I've heard some strange stories about you Harry.'
'Strange, how?'
'That you're having sex with anyone that wants to. That doesn't sound like my friend.'
'Maybe you don't know me Luna.'
'Oh, I think I do Harry. But I'm not your mother, if you want to have sex with strangers, that's up to you. I just wanted to see how my friend is.'
'Fine.'
'Still not a talker, are you Harry, but you never were. You will make someone a good partner one day. They can talk and talk, you'll just give one or two word answers.'
'Probably.'
'Are you always going to live here Harry, wouldn't somewhere else be better?'
'Maybe, just haven't bothered.'
'I saw Hermione the other day, she said you wouldn't talk to her when she visited you in the hospital wing.'
Harry shrugged, then took a sip of his drink, 'Didn't feel like talking.'
'Well, she told me she's heading to Australia to find her parents.'
'Good.'
'She's going alone, Mrs. Weasley is too upset so Ron can't leave.'
'Hermione will be fine.'
'She also told me about what my father did. I know he wouldn't have wanted to Harry. But he would want to save me, but my friends saved me.'
'Couldn't leave you there.'
'No and I'm glad you didn't. I've been helping Mr. Ollivander, he's still not well, so I've been giving him a hand and he's letting me stay in his spare room.'
'Why are you staying there?'
'My home was destroyed, my father died, so I'm homeless and an orphan, like you.'
'Sorry,' Harry looked away and took another drink. Even hearing his friend had lost her father, Harry still couldn't seem to say much. He didn't know why, he just didn't want to talk. So he took another drink as Luna sat beside him, but she never said anything else, just kept staring down at him which made Harry uncomfortable. But that was Luna, she would just do what she wanted and she seemed to want to stare at him.
Harry did give her a small smile, the first time he'd smiled in weeks. It felt strange to do, but that smile never really came from his heart and never reached his eyes, he couldn't seem to feel anything right now, but Luna didn't seem to care. So the two friends, both orphaned because of Voldemort sat in silence. One hoping she could help her friend, the other wondering why he felt so closed off. But one thing both of them knew, they didn't need to talk, they were friends, that said everything that was needed.
