Many years had passed since we last saw Sam, from a tribe that had disowned her, to being alone in the world for many seasons, to be the mate of a tribe of proto-humans and the mother and leader of a newly formed tribe of her own.
She had gone through a renaming of herself from a coward to a woman who acted with her own hands and fought for it, tooth and nail.
...
That was a LONG time ago now.
The tribe was long gone.
From the lush jungles and caves where she had called home, the children she had...her sons and daughters. Grandchildren. And so many more. The friends and loved ones that she had grown with...they were gone. The words that she had spoken were long dead, and have changed and grown into something more over the many years she had been alive.
The clothes she had made from beast furs had all worn away from the passage of time, she had to make more just to keep herself alive from the cold. She had wept tears for the loves that she had to bury. The past she had lived in was gone...she was alone again.
But...never for long.
She travelled to new places in the world, seeing the sights and changes that helped keep families united.
And right now, Sam was currently in the arms of a woman whom she had spent many months with. A beautiful woman by the name of Suchi, tanned skin with brown eyes, twisted black hair that was hidden under a scarf from the scorching sun. But right now, she was sleeping alongside her lover and with Sam's soft and toned body, she was happy to be in her arms.
Blessed by the gods, was Sam wonderful to her. Having opened wonders that she didn't experience.
She had not aged a day from when she found that rock.
Sam opened her eyes as she saw her lover in bed with her, smiling gently as she felt her soft sun-kissed skin on her own since last night. She leaned forward and kissed her gently on the cheek.
"Hmm..." Suchi slowly opened her eyes. "Sam."
"Good morning, my love." Sam whispered, happy to hear her name spoken from another.
"Where is the sun?" Suchi asked.
"Rising across the hills, Suchi." Sam answered, pulling Suchi close slowly as she held her.
"Last night...was wonderful. You truly are a goddess made flesh." Suchi whispered lovingly.
"And you are my chosen, Suchi." Sam responded. She gave her little love a few peaceful and playful kisses on the neck and cheek.
Suchi moaned gently as she felt Sam's kisses on her body, before slowly getting out of bed. "I have to go into the fields. The cattle will need releasing."
"Want me to come and help?" Sam asked as she got up, their tops exposed as the blanket fell.
"I could not ask that of you, goddess." She blushed.
"I'd feel bad if I didn't help a little," Sam answered. "But...If that's what you want, I'll wait here."
She looked out the window, seeing the beauty of the world. Seeing how times had changed.
Where she once looked upon a shortening forest, river and stones with hut made of wood and animal hide; now she was in a metropolis of stone buildings with grass and long rivers, burning hot sun with clouds, irrigated fields that connected to the rivers for rich fertile soils, tall trees with frayed barks and large leaves.
It brought tears to Sam's eyes as she saw this, how much had changed within the many years and how much the knowledge of the past influenced the world.
This place was called Atlantis, a large and special society.
Sam stretched as she got out of bed, grabbing her clothes and pulled them over her head. They were specially made to fit her body, a long white shirt with sea-based designs, a blue skirt with golden embroidery, brown leather sandals that were tied around her shins for security.
Sam had heard this place was crafted by the gods, something Sam could believe...though her gods were simple named things. 'Stone', 'River', 'Sun' and 'Woods'; but never named beings who governed the elements themselves.
"I will be back later," Suchi spoke as she dressed in common brown garb to work in the fields.
"Of course." she smiled softly. "I might go out for a little bit today."
"Will you pray at the temple?" Suchi asked.
"I think so." Sam teased.
"What else would you do?" Suchi asked in concern.
Sam thought about this, her puckish demeanour left. 'I don't want to hurt Suchi's feelings. Yet to lie to her...' Sam thought to herself. "I might go to the market. Go to the boats. Maybe see a fight."
"Be safe, Goddess of life." Sushi smiled softly. "Goddess of my heart. I hope you enjoy the day."
"And to you Suchi, my loving worshipper." Sam affectionately responded as she saw her leave and did so herself.
Sam walked down the streets of Atlantis, this shimmering stone marvel of stone and gold. Built with such amazing craftsmanship and detail, the vibrant home for all here. She up and saw machines made of special stone and metal, made to look like fish and rays that live in the sea. It was such a sight for her to behold, this amazing technology within her sights.
Turning the corner, Sam fidgeted in her pockets and pulled out some coins, diamond-shaped currency, circle-shaped currency, triangles. "Should be enough for dinner and a fight." As she turned, she saw the market stalls. Weavers of technicolour cloths and clothing, fruit and vegetable stores lined the streets, meat and fish, grains and beans, seasonings; this was a market that she knew she would meet many people for gossip and fun.
She smiled softly, remembering Suchi's names for her. When they met, Sam had saved Suchi from a bandit... and got stabbed.
Ironically, through the heart.
And Sam... she could not die.
Suchi proclaimed her a goddess before they eventually fell in love. Sam denied it, tried to convince her she wasn't... and then Suchi made it very clear that Sam was HER goddess.
'I wonder if there are any new clothes or fish?' Sam thought as she browsed through the marketplace.
"Sam! Welcome!" A red-haired man cheered her over.
"Hi, Adonis. What have you got today?" Sam asked as she walked to the stall.
"I've got a deal for you." He spoke, showing his wares.
"Oh? And what is that?" she smiled.
"Ta-dah~, what do you think?" Adonis asked as he showed off some new clothes, made from silk and wool with gold and silver thread, lapis lazuli blue clothing. Dyed clothes that were beautifully made and gorgeous to wear.
"Nice." She nodded.
"Well? Will you purchase anything?" Adonis asked with a smile.
"Hmm~, these robes look great...but they're a little out of my purchase range." Sam began to barter. "One silver."
"Oh, Sam. You wound me. The price is one gold piece." Adonis responded.
"One silver and a copper." Sam responded.
"Nine silver." Adonis rebutted.
Sam shook her head and just inch-wormed her way to a final price and bought a new dress for Suchi. "Thank you, Adonis."
"Ah, I can't win with you." Adonis sighed as he was bested once again, Sam was really good at bartering.
"I've had years of experience." Sam responded.
"Please, you're a spring chicken. Bless Demeter." Adonis respectfully prayed.
"Hmm. Shall I see you again?" Sam asked.
"I'm open all day." Adonis answered.
"Okay, bye." Sam left, going to another stall and getting something for dinner.
As she walked about, Sam could hear the gossip of the marketplace between all the bartering. 'Did you hear about Penelope? I know, I know. What about Suchi, staying with that Sam woman?'
Sam sighed as she heard that. 'I guess people aren't used to having a woman like me with another woman.' All the while, she walked towards the temple of the gods, she said she was going to go there anyway.
The temple was a large marble construct with pillars and painted with gold and many other colours, priestesses and caretakers of the temple were going about their day. Large iron braziers were alight in front of pillars that separated the statues of the gods and goddesses that Atlantis worshipped.
Zeus, the King of the Gods and Lightning.
Hera, the Queen of the Gods and Marriage.
Poseidon, the God of the Seas and founder of Atlantis.
Demeter, the Goddess of the Harvest and Fertility.
Hestia, the Goddess of the Hearth and Home.
Ares, the God of War.
Apollo, the God of the Sun and various other areas.
Artemis, the Goddess of the Moon and Hunting.
Aphrodite, the Goddess of love and sexuality.
These were the Olympians, or at least most of them.
Sam walked towards the statue of Aphrodite, looking up at the depiction of a gorgeous woman wearing a toga and flowing blonde hair. Sam knelt before the gods and began to pray. "Gods, please hear my words. I am not a goddess; I do not proclaim myself to be a goddess. Please, do not harm Suchi, she just loves me, and I love her."
This was an act she did almost every day. She knew the stories of the gods, how ferocious and prideful they could be. How they treat false gods.
She hoped that they would listen, hoped that they would be merciful. Sam could endure anything, be it lightning or fire; she would heal and live...but to lose her love. That she would not or could not live with.
"Back again, Sam?" A priestess asked as she walked over, carrying herbs in her arms.
"Yes, thank you. I was just finishing up." Sam responded as she rose to her feet. "How are you, Helen?"
"I am well, I was just on my way to give peace of mind to the people," Helen answered, to which Sam hugged her.
"Thank you. I mean it." Sam hugged her gently. "This helps."
"Of course, Sam," Helen answered. "I must get back to my duties."
"Yeah, okay. I'll be back later." Sam responded as she released Helen from the hug and left.
Helen nodded and let Sam walk out of the temple.
As Sam left the temple, she walked through the streets once again, it was honestly nice to get her mind back in order after doing her routine.
Down the roads, there was a barker in the city square, the king of Atlantis was looking for a bride and was holding a competition to help determine one.
Sam blinked, seeing the commotion.
"Hear me, people of Atlantis. The King is looking for a bride! All eligible women are required to attend!" The barker spoke.
'All women?' Sam thought to herself with a puckish smile.
The people looked around and mumbled. It was strange that the king was asking about this, but they had no qualms with him. He was always fair to the people. But to publicly ask for a bride among all women?
'I guess I can go and see what it's all about.' Sam thought as she walked towards the barker.
"All who wish to participate must arrive at the castle." The barker continued, as they got down from their podium.
*Time Skip*
Sam was now in the palace, dozens of women had arrived, each of them wanting to marry the prince, some of royal blood and others were commoners. It looked like it was going to be a contest of sorts.
"Interesting." She mumbled.
Walking into the large corridor was a tall man, burning red hair with blue eyes, tall and wearing silver fish scale styled clothing with golden design, a blue cape and a simple band crown with a curved rune on top with a dot in the centre. He was wearing bands made from electrum and blue tanned sandals. This was the King of Atlantis, Marro. "Thank you all for coming." He spoke politely to the women who attended and many of them swooned.
'Not a bad looking man.' Sam thought as she saw him, though Sam didn't find men attractive she appreciated their appearance.
"Now, as you know, I have asked many women to be candidates as my wife. However, there is a stipulation to this." Marro responded.
The woman chatted amongst themselves, curious.
"All women are required to come to my palace, tomorrow, so I may make my choice! She who will wear the crown must be special, after all!"
The women there were excited about this. It was going to be a grand occasion!
"All women?" Sam mumbled.
"What's the problem?" King Marro asked as he turned to Sam, seeing her concerned face somehow seeing her despite the hundreds of women there.
"Your highness...It just seems strange to me. That's all." Sam answered. "There are so many women there, and so many women that people would see as below your station."
"Perhaps I would like to see all sides of the spectrum." King Marro answered as he grinned at her.
"Hmm..." Sam looked up at him and pondered with an inquisitive hum. "I suppose that's true. But you could have anyone."
King Marro just smiled at Sam. "I've heard quite a bit about you, Sam King." And with that, he left.
Sam's jaw dropped just a little, she had kept her last name a secret...How did he know? It doesn't matter now. Tomorrow...she'd have to return.
She had no choice now.
'Damn it all.' She frowned and walked out, hoping that Suchi was done for the day. Her curiosity had gotten the better of her.
*the next day*
Sam was at the palace, she knew what she had gotten herself into...but she did wonder what the King was up to. She looked around at the palace and hoped to see the other candidates.
Every woman in the kingdom was here, even Suchi.
"I cannot believe that I almost missed this, Sam." Suchi whispered in shock and joy, happy to accompany her lover to this 'contest'.
"You WANT to be part of it?" Sam asked.
"Well, I've had dreams of being more." Suchi answered. "Doesn't everyone?"
Sam nodded, holding her hand gently.
The King walked in, meeting the women who were attending and waiting for him. "Welcome to my palace, ladies." He spoke politely making many of the women cheer. "I see you're all excited, but as you know; being Queen is much more than just looking nice and wearing a crown." King Marro continued. "It also needs intelligence, wit, wisdom and cunning."
He walked around in front of the hundreds of women.
"So, each of you will be given the same test, to show your wisdom and skills to help make Atlantis grow further." He continued "You must show the wisdom to make Athena proud."
"Hail to Wise Athena!" The women proclaimed.
"The compassion of Hestia and Demeter. And the grace of Artemis." King Marro continued.
'Wow, he really loves working the crowd up.' Sam thought to herself. 'Still, it's working.'
"Now, let's begin." King Marro finished, gesturing to rooms for the women to enter with everyone entering calmly.
"Suchi...Good luck." Sam whispered, holding her lover's hand.
"You too," Suchi responded. "I'll see you there."
'Please... Let us lose.' Sam thought.
King Marro looked at Sam, seeing her face as she and Suchi walked into the rooms. 'I think things will go well.' He thought confidently.
*time skip*
Hours had passed, Sam was sitting in a lounge chair as she was bored. These scenarios that King Marro had made for the women were...kind of simple. Well, at least for her; living for many centuries Sam had experienced being a leader.
Although the current activity she found kind of amusing...
Mud wrestling between the different women.
'I guess this is kind of entertaining.' She thought with a smile.
As Suchi sat next to her.
"Hmm..." Suchi mumbled as she saw this display and bit her bottom lip.
"Enjoying this, Suchi?" Sam asked, slipping her hand between her thighs.
Suchi squeaked a little as she felt Sam's hand slip there. "Y-Yes. I-I am. We-we shouldn't do this. Not here."
"Why not? It's like we're back home and no-one can see us." Sam perversely teased.
Suchi bit her loves lip, her hips pushing upwards in need.
'Such a naughty girl.' Sam thought as she kissed her girlfriend, slipping her fingers between her slit. 'But I love her.'
'S-Sam, ah~!' Suchi gasped as she began to shudder in excitement.
"Next contestants!"
"...Damn." Sam frowned as she heard that.
"L-Looks like we're next." Suchi muttered.
"Oh? You Vs me? Wrestling in the mud?" Sam grinned, getting really excited now "Our bodies squirming and slipping against each other as we try to pin the other?"
"S-Sam! Gods, bless you." Suchi panted as she heard that and wanted to embrace her there...but they had to leave. "You make things better."
"I love you." Sam responded with a grin, pulling her towards the large mud arena.
"Oh, I see that you two have started already." A judge spoke as they saw Sam and Suchi walk towards the arena.
"A-Almost, Sir." Suchi answered as they entered the arena.
"So, do you want to wear your work clothes, or should we do this as we do in the sheets?" Sam teased, already removing her clothes.
"Sam!" Suchi blushed.
"We have provided appropriate clothing for the contestants." The judge spoke, showing strange covering clothing for both Sam and Suchi. They looked to be made only for their breasts and waist, being comprised of cotton. "We hope they fit."
"If they don't, I can rip them off." Sam winked at her lover.
'Aphrodite's grace, this Sam is insatiable.' A judge thought to themself.
Suchi blushed as she donned the clothing provided and walked to a newly created mud pit, made with fest clay and mud combination.
However, she wasn't even thinking about the situation, just that she was here with Sam.
'Please, be gentle.' She thought to herself, as she felt the cool mud-clay between her toes.
"Hee-hee. This is gonna be great!" Sam stretched.
"Ready?" A person wearing a brown toga asked, acting as a mediator.
"Ready!" They nodded.
"Then begin!" The person proclaimed.
Both Sam and Suchi rushed forward and began to grapple. The mud made it harder, with both almost slipping down to the floor. "H-Hnn!" The two grunted, before Sam lifted Suchi up and pinned her to the mud.
SPLAT!
The pair fell into the mud, the chill of it immediately splashing on their bodies as they looked into each other's eyes while the mud got into their hair.
"Here we go!" Sam laughed.
"N-No fair!" Suchi gasped, looking up with her hair almost in her eyes.
"All's fair in love and war, Suchi." Sam responded, using her techniques to make Suchi quiver in her touch.
She was running her hands over Suchi's stomach and side, keeping her pinned via her weight and her skill.
King Marro was seeing this, Sam had intrigued him. No-one had pinned their opponent down this quickly before; she was something special.
"A-Ah~! Sam!" Suchi moaned as she knew Sam knew her weak spots. She was beginning to drool a bit, her eyes flickering closed.
'Come on, love. Let's give the king a show.' Sam thought, licking her lips.
*time skip*
Suchi had lost against Sam. She was exhausted and being washed in the large baths of the palace...something she didn't think would happen in her lifetime.
She didn't care that she lost, it had been magical. It had been special. And she loved her goddess. "Well, at least I gave it my all," Suchi whispered as she washed her hair with the soaps provided. "Not that I wanted to win. And I hope Sam doesn't."
In the other room, Sam was drying off. She felt honestly great, having learned that new experience...But how was the King going to react if she stood out too much?
Had she gone too far?
'Gods, what am I going to do?' Sam thought to herself as she towelled herself off.
Knock, knock, knock.
"Hello?" Sam asked, turning to the door.
The door opened... Revealing the King!
"King Marro, what brings you here?" Sam asked, trying to play it off as cooly as possible.
"I live here. And I wanted to see you. You surprised me during that mud wrestling match." King Marro answered.
"Well...it's a competition, right?" Sam coolly remarked.
"It is." He laughed happily.
"Why are you here?" Sam asked.
"I wanted to say that I was impressed. Your reputation proceeds you." King Marro answered.
"My reputation?"
"Yes, you've lived in Atlantis for some time. And you have been quiet in your 'lifestyle' alongside your lover...or lovers." King Marro answered.
"I see."
"I have a proposition to offer." King Marro continued.
"Is it anything to do with the competition? If not-" Sam frowned.
"It is." He responded. "One that I think you may like."
"What is it?" She asked, before he grabbed her hands.
"Be my Queen!"
...
"Huh?" Sam's jaw dropped as she heard that.
"Be my Queen, you wouldn't have to do this competition and you will have a station befitting your name." Marro answered as he ran a hand across her cheek.
"Do I...have a choice?" Sam asked.
"Of course." He nodded.
"...What's the catch?" Sam followed up, intrigued by it.
"No catch. Not really." He answered. "But there is something I want to know."
"What is it?" Sam asked.
"Considering your partners...how many have you had? And how do you pleasure them?" King Marro asked.
"... Hehe. Easy. But I'm not telling." She smirked "I have an idea. Because... I don't wanna be your Queen."
"You don't want to be Queen? Why?" He asked.
"Because I've been a 'Queen' before." Sam answered without giving away too much information.
"Perhaps if I made this interesting." Marro asked.
"In what way could you make it 'interesting'?" Sam asked, turning back at him.
"If you become my Queen, you may have as many concubines as you see fit." Marro answered.
"I don't need concubines." She frowned back.
"Even if it includes Suchi? You two could live here." Marro answered.
"Thank you, but we don't need this. We are happy how we are." She responded.
King Marro frowned as he heard that, Sam was set in her ways and her privacy.
"Darn, I would've thought it would've intrigued you. Having a group of women to love and share with Suchi." Marro commented. "However, I am the King. And I have chosen you to be my Queen."
'Damn. That law.' She thought bitterly. "Fine... But let us have a bet instead."
"A bet? Interesting. What's the bet and contest?" He asked.
"Who can pleasure the most of women before collapsing." She said seriously "If I win, you let me and Suchi live our lives and let us go. If you win... I shall be your Queen."
King Marro blinked in shock at the request. "Very well." He answered. "I accept those terms."
"Good...And no cheating." Sam added.
"Understandable." He nodded. "Although I don't understand how I could cheat this." He teased.
"Call it a safe bet." Sam answered. "So... where are you going to get the women?"
"We have the entire kingdom's female population here." He responded.
"...Alright. Bring them here." Sam answered confidently.
*Time skip*
Moans filled the room in a big, dramatic musical fashion.
We see King Marro and Sam pleasuring numerous amounts of women, bare and beautiful. And each being teased and brought to climax by Sam and King Marro's techniques.
It had been hours since their contest began, both growing exhausted.
The king's lips were getting chapped, Sam's fingers were cramping.
Both were giving their all for this contest...and it was close.
The King currently had a woman screaming and moaning on his member as he was eating out another.
"M-My King! Ah~!" The woman moaned as she filled with his member.
'Gods. They're too loud.' Sam thought as she had linked her waist around another woman's and rubbed their flowers together.
She did have to admit, the king did have an impressive member.
"Ah~! Gods!" The woman Sam was fucking climaxed; while Sam's hand, finished a woman with a pulse within her slit.
"Need... To keep going." Sam panted, pulling herself up.
Her hands felt stiff. She had to keep going...She wanted a quiet life now. "Who's...? Next...?" She asked, looking around and saw some women left, raising their hands. "You two. Here."
"Sam?" A soft, female voice asked. Someone that caught her attention.
"S-Suchi?" Sam panted as she turned to the source...and begged that she was wrong. And hoped she would understand.
Suchi leaned forwards, kissing Sam deeply.
Sam's eyes fluttered closed as she felt Suchi's tender lips on her own. She knew. Of course, Suchi knew. They were together and knew neither would cheat on the other.
Suddenly Suchi gasped and broke the kiss, the King behind Sam's lover and holding her hips. He smiled, pulling Sam into another kiss.
Sam's mind went fuzzy, feeling her body melt in Suchi's hands as King Marro embraced her.
She was so tired. All she could do was accept the kiss as Suchi moaned, feeling the King's rod inside her.
"I'm cumming!" Marro moaned as he was about to cum inside of the two women.
"Cumming!" Suchi cried out as she felt a man's warm seed inside her.
Suchi fell onto Sam, the pair of them exhausted...and the contest was over.
Sam was too tired. Exhausted because of this vast stamina of the king and how much she had to push herself.
"That... was wonderful." King Marro laughed gently, patting Suchi's backside "I do believe I win, Samantha." he smiled.
Sam looked up at him and sighed. "Fine...I'll be your queen." As she continued to hug Suchi.
Days passed as the contest had been concluded, the queen had been chosen and Atlantis wondered who it was going to be.
They were all prepared for the wedding, however.
Sam was currently in a purple-dyed toga, made from the finest crushed seashells, woven from silks and clasped with gold. "...Gods, I look ridiculous."
"You look beautiful," Suchi commented.
"You're one to talk." Sam responded, seeing Suchi wearing a seafoam green dress with silver clasps and sandals. "You look like a sea nymph and in the best way."
"At least we'll be together this way." She responded.
"I wish it was us being married though." Sam frowned.
"I wish that too. But...I can accept this life." Suchi answered, cupping Sam's cheek gently. "I am just sorry I was the deciding factor. I was the one who made you lose."
"I'd rather it be you than any random woman." Sam kissed her. "We better get going."
"Yeah."
The two walked through the corridor and towards the altar area, seeing the party of people around them, effigies of the gods to bear witness to this and bless the wedding. Marro was wearing his most regal attire as he was waiting for his new Queen to arrive.
*time skip*
It was some months later, Sam was married to the King of Atlantis and having a new life with Suchi.
Her husband was not a bad man, in fact he was an amazing husband and king.
He helped teach Sam and Suchi, improving their knowledge of currency, social standings, economics and agriculture. He showed no restraint by how much he respected Sam and her decisions. They learned so much while being there and had grown as people and grown closer with Marro.
He was even open to Sam's suggestion of having many women lovers as her concubines.
He did love Sam, truly and honestly... And he knew she didn't feel the same for him or any man. It hurt to know she could not love him in the same way he loved her, but she did love him as a dear friend.
And for right now; that was enough.
"Good morning, My King." Sam spoke as she woke up in arms with her husband.
"Good morning." he smiled, before rolling them over.
"Whoa! Someone's happy." Sam responded as she saw him over him.
"Of course, I am." He answered, kissing her. He put all his passion into it, looking almost like he was trying to eat her very soul out her body.
Sam wrapped her arms around Marro, hugging him close as she kissed back passionately. 'Give me all your love, husband.' She thought to herself.
Even if she did not feel that way about him, she accepted it.
And even this early in the morning, Sam accepted her husband's member pushing deep inside her.
She gave out a small moan as her body accepted the pleasure.
It was loving and pleasurable, the king and queen of Atlantis embracing as her body bounced with each thrust as her breasts under the quilts jiggled.
"Have... Have... My... My child!" He grunted.
Sam's eyes widened as she could feel his warmth fill her, it was so long since she had felt a man's seed fill her flower...and the thought of having another child would be good.
Being a mother again... Been a few hundred years since then. The two embraced in their bed, looking into each other's eyes and cuddled gently. "Thank you, My King." She whispered gently into his ear.
She gave his ear a playful bite, teasing him.
BOOM!
"What was that?" Sam panicked.
"I don't know." Marro answered as they got out of bed.
They got out of bed, both still naked.
Then, they saw it. A burning red sky coming from the volcano outside the city exploded, the city was burning in flames!
"What is going on?!" Sam yelled. "We-"
"-Have to save the people!" They called together.
"I'll evacuate people to the boats!" Sam spoke up.
"I'll head into the city and get people out of rubble!" Marro added.
They both grabbed clothes and began to get dressed, as quickly as they could. However, as they prepared to leave, King Marro quickly pulled her into a kiss.
"If I don't see you again... I love you." He admitted.
"I know, husband." She nodded softly, before they left.
"Suchi! Such, wake up!" Sam called out as she woke up her lover and the concubines.
"We heard the explosion; what's happening?" Suchi asked.
"The volcano has exploded! We need to evacuate the people, NOW!" Sam immediately answered, throwing clothes to the women to help them get dressed.
Outside of the Palace, people were screaming, running away from the fires and ash of the volcano, they were running with children in their arms. They were crying and praying to the gods, wondering what they did wrong.
Inside the temples, prayers were being spoken to the gods, begging for their lives, praying to Poseidon for protection.
Other families were running to the docks, their technologies were broken, the seas were coming into the city. They were flooded with fire and ocean. "Save us, please!"
Outside of the temple, King Marro was doing his best to break away the rubble that was pinning his people, the guards and soldiers were also ordered to help, even guiding people towards the docks. "Quickly, we have to save them!" The king proclaimed.
"Yes sir!"
Over with Sam, she was getting supplies and people onto the large boats to head off the island. "Everyone, this way, this way!"
Everyone was rushing, moving around in panic and fear.
People were crowding onto the boats, some pushing people off the ramps into the ocean while others were forcing upwards to protect their families.
"Don't push, we're filling the boats as quickly as possible. Captain, how much room do we have?" Sam called out as her guards were trying to keep order.
"This ship is filled! We can't fit any more!" A captain answered. "LOOK OUT!"
BOOM!
A large chunk of molten rock erupted from the volcano and flew all the way to the docks.
Many soldiers were squashed in the blink of an eye.
The water was boiling, so any of the people who were pushed in were being cooked alive. Their screams were horrible to everyone there.
"Next boat, we have to leave, NOW!" Sam proclaimed as she began to unhook the boats and get people to the next ones. "Go, go, go!"
She and her guards rushed people onto the next boats that were lined up. They had to move quickly, or the volcano will kill them all. And Sam didn't know if she could survive this. She never had to deal with being burned alive by a volcano before.
She had survived so much, but this was the first time in hundreds if not thousands of years... she was scared for her life.
The boats began to leave, a special ship was held for Sam's concubines as they took to sea. "Sam, wait!" Suchi called out. "Where are you going?"
"Marro is still in there!" Sam answered.
"Sam, no!" Suchi urged. "We can't lose both our King and Queen."
Sam froze as she heard that, looking at her lover...damn it, she had to abandon her home. Again. She looked back at the destroying city and began to weep. "Forgive me, Marro. I'm sorry." And she turned to board the boat.
She ran, hoping for a brighter future...
*Time skip*
Many people had died during the destruction of the ocean-continent. Many had sunk beneath the waves and flames from the volcano's magma. From a near million people had been dwindled down to less than a thousand.
All the technology and wisdom of Atlantis had burned away. They had their ships and their lives...but it felt hollow.
They had managed to camp on the larger continent, the place called home. It was hard for them. Especially since that many men were trying to become the 'next king'...and they knew whom to wed.
Sam's ship was filled with women; her concubines, her lovers.
A harem for a bloody new king. The old way of Atlantis was gone in the eyes of these people...this was about their 'survival'.
Sam wouldn't have it. She would not be the prize of a bloody coup. She looked at the boats and frowned. She was a queen and a leader. She would not let this happen. She pulled out a clasp, engraved with the symbols of the Olympian goddesses and began to pray. 'I don't know if this will work. But please, do not let this happen. Please let us find somewhere safe, an island paradise where men like this cannot find us.'
"My Queen?" A concubine whispered, looking at her Queen.
Sam remained silent, gripping her fists tightly, finishing her prayer to the goddesses who would hear them.
Aphrodite, Artemis, Athena, Demeter, Hera, Hestia, Persephone, Harmonia, Hecate, Rhea. Any and all of them. Mothers and sisters, goddesses who would protect them.
Sam prayed to them, holding her resolve...and stood tall and turned to the men. And grabbed a sword from one of her guards.
"My People!" She called powerfully. "Our home... It has fallen!"
The remaining populous backed off and began to shut up. Seeing their queen wielding a sword and taking command.
"We are all the last of the Atlanteans. But we will not resort to savagery! We are better than this!" Sam proclaimed, her voice sounding like a lion's and a leader's. "I have seen homes torn asunder because of desperation and fear. I have lived in many places which I have lost. Divided, Atlantis and its culture will be forever lost. But we will unite! We will help each other up, we will not belittle each other, we will not turn on each other when times get tough!"
People began to cheer a bit, clapping.
"I cannot promise that we will reclaim what we lost. But I can make sure that we will have a home! That we will continue the legacy of Atlantis!" Sam continued.
"Queen Sam! Queen Sam! Queen Sam!"
Atlantis had fallen. The foundations lost to the sea...but these people were Atlantis. As long as their names and lineage continued, they would not be forgotten.
Sam took a shaky breath as she was filled with hope, feeling joy as she was being praised. This is what it was to be Queen. To help rally her people to persevere. Years of living in many tribes and lifetimes had prepared her for this. "Alright. We." She sniffed. "We have to collect food, make shelter and find a clean source of water. We cannot live long without those things."
They would make a NEW home.
And they would do their best... To make it a Paradise.
*Time skip*
Years had passed.
The home that the fallen Atlanteans had made was sustainable. Some winters were harsh, but they lived through them. Unfortunately...things took a turn for the worst.
A raid happened, where the men had died in battle, side by side with their Queen. She knew that her life would be tough on the continent...but after years of perseverance and hard work, they had made a home of their own. Blessed by the gods that they prayed to. The concubines, wives and daughters were graced by the goddesses themselves. And they were rewarded for looking danger in the eye.
Sam smiled as she watched her daughter playing.
Her little girl was about ten years old, raven-black hair and like her mother and sapphire blue eyes like her father, she was wearing a cotton woven toga with a leather belt around her waist as she played with the other children, all girls around her age or younger.
"Hippolyta!" Sam called out "Dinner is ready!"
"Yes, mother!" Hippolyta responded, running to her mother with great speed. "Bye, guys!"
"Bye, bye!" The other children waved as they continued playing until their own mothers called them.
"Did you have a good time?" Sam asked as she put out dinner.
"Uh-huh." Hippolyta answered, running in with dirty hands and feet. "We had a great time."
"Ah-ah. Wash your hands and feet." Sam instructed.
"Yes, mother." Hippolyta answered.
The houses of this new home were beautiful. Marble and wood, made of Grecian architecture. Not as radiant as Atlantis, but it was the best they could make. It was home, their home. A palace made with their own two hands.
"I hope you made enough." Suchi teased as she walked in, wrapping her arms around Sam's waist and kissed her neck.
"Of course, I did, darling." Sam smiled.
"I pray to the goddesses that we are safe here." Suchi whispered. "Themyscira. It's a wonderful name."
SPLASH!
"Sorry!" Hippolyta apologised as she made a loud splash in the washroom.
"What did you do?!" Sam called with worry.
"I tripped over the towel." Hippolyta walked out, completely drenched in water and soap.
Inside the bathroom, there was an upturned towel on the floor, a large bowl that was flipped upside down and water all over the floor.
...
Sam chuckles softly, gripping the towel and patting her daughter's hair "Princess." She shook her head "You need to be careful."
"I thought I was." Hippolyta frowned as she was being dried off.
"You just need to learn where to look. Okay?" Sam responded. "Let's get ready for dinner."
"Okay." The young girl smiled.
"I love you, my wonderful princess." Sam praised.
"I love you, mother." Hippolyta kissed Sams cheek with familial affection before they sat down at the table and began their dinner.
Night soon crept along as the denizens of the island were headed for bed. Even after a decade, the sunsets were just as beautiful as before. One of the few things that Sam loved about the world.
It was a promise that she felt the Earth had for every human. The sun will always rise and set upon the horizon; the moon may come and go, but it'll always be there. And there will always be a future.
"Can't sleep?" Suchi asked as she cuddled Sam and waited up with her.
"No. How's Hippolyta?" Sam responded.
"She's asleep." She answered, before groping her queen's breasts affectionately.
"Oh? Someone is feeling frisky~!" Sam moaned.
"Can you blame me?" Suchi responded. "I've wanted to do this for weeks." And slipped her hands under Sam's toga, playing with her nipples.
"Oh~ really~?" Sam moaned.
Suchi chuckled as she turned Sam's head and kissed her, slipping off their togas while still embracing Sam. "I want you. So much."
"Always." Sam nodded and kissed her.
The two lovers embraced in each other's arms as they fell upon their bed, kissing and hugging as they were now nude. Suchi looked down at Sam's naked body while Sam looked up at Suchi's bare breasts.
"If you wanted to be on top, you could've asked." Sam teased.
"Then...where would be the fun?" Suchi chuckled, her fingers gliding down to Sam's waist.
"Hehe. My little star, my love." Sam praised.
With a gentle push, Suchi pushed her fingers inside of Sam, teasing her flower as she motioned her body to act like a man's.
"Oh Suchi!"
Suchi began to blush as she looked down at Sam, seeing her moan because of their technique; it was beautiful to see the Queen making such wonderful noises. "My goddess." She smiled lovingly.
Sam's eyes rolled into the back of her head as she heard that, linking her legs around Suchi's waist as she continued to stimulate her pussy with her fingers. "Fuck yes! Yes! Yes!"
Suchi slipped another finger into Sam's flower, feeling her wet and warm it was. And the feeling of being in this position made her own slit feel good.
"M-Make me cum. Make me cum, Suchi!" Sam exclaimed as she shuddered under her lover's touch, squirting onto the sheets. "I love you!"
The two lovers embraced as they lay on the bed, Suchi slipping her fingers out of Sam's slit and rubbed their hips together.
Time passed since then, the island paradise slowly grew with much greater technologies than Atlantis had. All because there were many more women approaching the island, those who brought new and innovative ideas to their shores. All the while, Sam saw the sunrise and set over many seasons...and her young daughter grow into a beautiful woman.
The Amazon's, as they came to call themselves, had been blessed with endless youth and eternal life. They were not immune to death, as battle could still claim them, but they would never age to death. The goddess' blessed them.
One day, whilst sitting on the beaches of Themyscira, Sam was overlooking the waves and looking beyond their borders. How long had paradise lasted for her? How at peace she felt as she didn't know what the world was like. Her mind...turned to travel once again.
"Mother? Are you well?" A kind voice spoke behind her, it was Hippolyta, who was wearing a regal white and gold toga with golden clasp, brown sandals and a tiara crown upon her raven black hair that grew down to her back.
"Yes, I'm fine." Sam smiled, looking behind her. "For once in my long life...I feel happy. My daughter growing up alongside me." She gently patted her cheek.
"And yet?" Hippolyta asked.
"You know how I'm immortal, right? How I can't die. How I've lived for thousands of years." Sam responded.
"I remember. You told me when I took the throne." She answered. "You were always honest with me."
"I...I lived alone and travelled through the world, seeing it change and grow. Cities and tribes rise and fall. I'm getting...an itch. The itch to travel once again." Sam admitted.
"You are going to leave us?" She asked in shock.
"... After your mother Suchi died in battle... I've felt my 'tether' here lessen." She commented calmly.
"And I am not?" Hippolyta asked, sounding hurt.
"Of course, you are." Sam reassured. "But...I want to see what the world has to offer."
"Will you be okay?" Hippolyta asked.
"I will." Sam nodded... Before she sighed "Come here, princess." She urged, her arms out for a hug.
"I'm not a little girl anymore. I'm the queen." She blushed... But still did as her mother asked, hugging her.
"I know, my darling." Sam sighed "It's been hundreds of years since your mother fell... I love you so much, I really do. But I only stopped travelling because of her, I only married your father because she was by my side, I only had the strength to lead everyone because she was there. You are my star, my world. And while her memory is no longer painful... I have never stayed in one place for so long. I miss meeting and learning new cultures, being trained in new skills, seeing the majesty of the world as if changes. Love... It makes you do some things you would never normally do. One day you will understand when you find that special someone, that magical partner. I've already had several of them, but none we long as Suchi. You have her kindness and my strength and your father's sense of justice. You don't need me anymore my darling... And I can't stay here."
Hippolyta sniffed gently and nodded. "Then...We'll send you off. Properly. And we'll always have home open for you."
"I know you will." Sam hugged her daughter a little tighter, not halting her tears. "I'm so proud of you, my princess. You've grown into a strong woman and a wonderful Queen."
"Thank you, mother." Hippolyta responded. "Will you leave tomorrow?"
Sam pulled back a little to see her daughter's face. "Yeah. I hate long goodbyes."
Hippolyta nodded, trying to hold back tears.
"Promise me something," Sam asked.
"Anything, mother." Hippolyta choked back tears.
"If you have a daughter, please tell her about me and Suchi," Sam asked. "I'd like her to know about our lives."
"Of course." She nodded and hugged her mother again.
Time passed once again, the farewell from Themyscira was heartbreaking for many who were there. Sam waving goodbye to the life she knew of for so long and how much she would miss them...but she would continue forwards. She would see the world.
Eventually, she wished she hadn't.
She screamed as flames flickered over her body.
"BURN THE WITCH! BURN HER!"
A crowd. A hoard of people baying for her death. People wearing robes and chanting in a new language she had learned beforehand. They carried books and quoting about a 'merciful God', how that 'she was a sinful creature for laying with women'. These weren't the enlightened people that she had spent time with...these were scared and ignorant people who believed in superstitions that the world of 'demons and magic' haunted them nightly.
She had been hit by an arrow, she should have been killed...
"FUUUCK!" Sam screamed as the flames burned her body and the arrow penetrated her heart. That was supposed to be a 'mercy' to kill her. Done by a person to ease their suffering.
But no.
All it did was add to it as the fires continued to burn hotter and hotter.
"God above, please save this wicked soul and enter-" A priest spoke.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU, BASTARDS!" Sam screamed as she was freed of the ropes that had burned away, landing in the hot coals. Her flesh healing as fast as the flames burned her. "GAAAAHHHH!" she screamed, nearly falling over.
The crowd looked at her in fear and terror. 'She was a witch! Her magic was keeping her alive! She's possessed by the devil!' That was the thoughts on their minds and lips, seeing Sam crawl out of the flames and seeing the priest who labelled her a witch...the man who tried to murder her. All because he had sway over the city he was in. The people were wrapped around his finger due to his silver tongue. If anyone was 'possessed by the devil' it was that man.
And the priest looked horrified. He saw Sam live through the fires.
She turned around, walking away calmly. Ignoring the darkness.
Sam...was alone in this cruel world. This world that had lost love, that lost its sense of compassion. All because of the cruelty of those imposing their twisted desires and wills upon a subjugated population. Words that corrupted good people to follow a cruel and uncaring being that didn't exist, deifying a person who lived long ago to justify their twisted morals and sights on people.
A person that is deified is fallible and able to change, easy to shift the blame or justifications of your cruelty upon others. Treat others like refuse because it's 'What God says'.
No. It is what Man says.
And men in power want to keep that power. No matter how many lies they must sew and how much they twist their morals.
So much for an 'enlightened age' where free-thinking people are labelled as 'heretics' and 'blasphemous'; it is all about power and those willing to use others to spill blood in order to keep it.
She was forced to walk through this hell... alone.
While technology advanced... evil continued. Wars came and went, and Sam helped everywhere she could.
Sam saw horrible things, terrible things that were done in the names of the gods that these wars instigated. People of 'holy origin' wanting more land and to 'retrieve artefacts of their culture', soldiers who were conscripted into eternal peace after death, women and children slaughtered while men draped in armour and parading symbols of their gods were deemed 'righteous' to 'save the souls of these heathens'.
And she promised herself, she vowed to never again let war corrupt the goodness and love inside people's hearts. She fought, she grew stronger and smarter. She was going to make a home in the world and be part of it again.
This second world war was terrible.
Brothers killing brothers, fathers and sons going to die for the sake of misguided leadership, corruption, xenophobia and hatred. It felt even worse than the first one that she saw. The sounds of bombs being dropped onto the streets below, the poisonous gas that was used to maim so many lives, the fear and terror it fuelled to instigate more hatred and anger.
All because of the death of a man and wife who wanted to celebrate their anniversary, dying at the hands of enraged young men who didn't know what their consequences would lead to in the streets of Sarajevo.
Anger and resentment grew within those years after those terrible events blossomed into a crazed man with a passion for hatred and spread it like a gospel which generations would become corrupted by.
Sam held onto hope, trying to keep her love and kindness alive in the terrible world of the Second World War and how she put herself out there to fix what was broken.
And that hope, that light and kindness that blossomed from Pandora's Box that was this terrible war, was a woman. A black-haired woman with blue eyes, wearing red body armour with a golden eagle bust-cover, steel bracers polished like mirrors, a blue tasselled skirt like a gladiator's, red boots clasped in gold, a bronze shield in her left hand...and a golden lasso in her right. And upon her brow was a golden tiara with a star emblazoned in the centre.
Sam was currently... She didn't remember. All the chaos was bonding together.
But watching the woman soaring across the skies... She felt hope.
She recognised the woman's fighting style, her body structure, her features... This woman was an Amazon.
'H-Heh...ha-ha...' Sam looked up at the woman and began to laugh with joy, tears forming in her eyes. "She chose."
Her people were safe.
'Thank god...' She thought as she pulled herself to her feet.
"Are you in need of assistance?" A voice spoke as Sam pulled herself up.
"Huh? Who're you?" She asked.
It was a young man wearing a red costume with a yellow lightning bolt across his chest, blue trousers and wearing a metal silver army hat with golden 'Mercury Wings' on the side. He seemed to be a young man in his twenties extending his hand to her. "My name is 'The Flash'. I'm here to help."
"You... Look like Hermes?" She blinked.
"I get that a lot." The Flash smiled, helping Sam up. "Hold on, we're gonna go quite fast."
"Wait, what do you-?" Sam asked before The Flash carried her in a rush of a red blur and lightning.
It was incredible, Sam had never been this fast before. It was like the world around her froze and rushed past her in milliseconds. And almost immediately, she was back in the city, where she was safe. "Sorry about the bumpy ride."
"N-No. I...Wow." She exclaimed as she felt a little wobbly from the intensity of the speed. "What was that?"
"As I said, I'm the Flash." He grinned.
"Thank you. Thank you, Flash." Sam smiled, getting her bearings and healing her wounds.
"Now that's something special. You're healing quicker than I ever could." Flash blinked in shock and admired it.
"Thank you...it's...it's my own powers," Sam admitted. "Do...Do you have a place where I can eat and drink? I've had...a rough life."
"Possibly. Stay here, the rest of the Justice Society should be here soon."
Sam nodded as she sat down, holding her head as she was still reeling from what happened and seeing that Amazon woman in the air. She flew like a goddess.
Confident.
Powerful.
Wonderful.
All of it reminded her of Themyscira. 'She looks...she looks just like her.' Sam thought to herself as she observed the woman.
Eventually, more people approached Sam.
There was a man wearing a red costume shirt with a yellow spot in the chest with a green lantern in the middle, green trousers, a black popped collar cape with a green interior and a black domino mask. And on his left middle finger was a glowing green ring in the shape of a lantern.
A man wearing a solid dark blue cat-styled costume with black boots and bandaged hands.
Two people wearing hawk-themed costumes. A woman and a man wearing green trousers, golden shirts with black markings and red symbols on their chests that depicted the head of a hawk. On their backs were grey feathered wings and had gold and black hawk-shaped helmets.
And lastly was a man wearing a fully blue bodysuit with yellow boots, gloves and underwear on the outside, a golden plain medallion, a gold collar and a roman full-face helmet with a fin on the top.
"Nice to meet you, ma'am." The red-suited man spoke respectfully.
"Hello, all of you." Sam nodded "... Justice Society, correct?"
"That's correct." The helmeted man responded. "Please allow us to introduce ourselves."
"I'm Green Lantern." The red-suited man spoke up.
"'Green' Lantern?" Sam joked, looking at the colour scheme.
"The name's Wildcat." The cat-themed man spoke, giving a thumbs up.
"I'm Hawkwoman and my partner Hawkman." The woman spoke, introducing themselves.
"Nice to meet you." Hawkman nodded.
"And...you are?" Sam asked, looking at the helmeted man.
"Doctor Fate. And, I have heard of you Ms Sam King." Dr Fate informed.
"I thought I lived quietly." Sam smiled sadly.
"You have, but your mark has been left." Dr Fate answered.
"Who...who was that woman from before?" Sam asked. "The Amazon."
"That is Wonder Woman... How do you know she is an Amazon?" Flash blinked.
"I lived with them for a long time," Sam answered with a gentle smile.
Though it was suspicious, there was no lie in Sam's eyes, they were filled with love towards Wonder Woman.
The warrior soon returned, floating to the ground with an elegant confidence.
"I see that everyone's here." The warrior woman spoke as she saw everyone.
"Wonder Woman, Ms King here says that she lived with the Amazons. Do you know her?" Wildcat asked.
"We've never met." Both Sam and Wonder Woman answered.
"But...Did you say 'Ms King'?" Wonder Woman asked.
Sam nodded as she smiled, getting to her feet and looked at Wonder Woman's face. "You look like your mother." She praised, choking up with pride. "The same blue eyes."
"My... Moth... You... You know... It.. it is you?" She blinked in shock.
"Yes... My darling princess." Sam smiled and sniffed, placing a hand on Wonder Woman's cheek.
"She... Called me that... It's... really you... The first Queen of the Amazons..." Wonder Woman commented before she pulled Sam into a hug. "Grandmother!"
"Huh?!" The Justice Society gasped in shock.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait just a minute." Wildcat motioned his hands.
"How? How is she, your grandmother? What if she's lying?" Hawkman asked.
"Questions that will be answered. Let them have this." Dr Fate responded, putting his hand on Hawkman's shoulder.
"Doesn't Wonder Woman's lasso make people tell the truth?" Green Lantern asked.
"Later." Dr Fate responded again, letting Diana and Sam embrace.
Time passed and questions were answered. Sam was indeed Wonder Woman's grandmother. And when asked about Sam's immortality, both the good Doctor Fate and Sam answered that together.
It was something that amazed everyone and gave some a feeling of... Horror.
Sam had lived for millennia. Lived through some of the harshest times and survived through trials many of them had scarcely believed. From a wild creature to a leader of proto-humans and then to a queen. If they made an enemy of her...would she be able to stop her?
...
But that was sort of put to the side as Sam was sitting comfortably next to her granddaughter and wearing a comfy coat looking snuggly.
"And then what happened?" Sam asked, listening to the story of their people.
"We began to improve our technologies, the wisdom all the women and knowledge of different cultures allowed us to make many marvels that would make you proud if you wanted to return home." Wonder Woman answered. "Then Steve Trevor crashed onto the island on accident."
"The pilot person you mentioned." Sam continued to follow with interest.
"A contest was held and I was the victor, it was hard and challenging, but I proved myself worthy to be the one to help Man's World." She continued.
"Is it a little weird that this is like a mother-daughter talk and not a grandmother-granddaughter talk? Sam doesn't look older than Wonder Woman." Hawkman commented as the Justice Society were keeping a respectful distance.
"Such is the nature of her powers." Dr Fate explained. "The meteorite that made her this way gave her everlasting life and youth."
"I've got to be honest...As much as it would be awesome to have another member in the Society, I don't want to force her into this war." Flash commented. "She's been through too much."
"Plus, can she even keep up?" Hawkwoman asked. "She doesn't seem like a fighter."
Wildcat pondered something. "Well, that's easy to find out. I'll be a sparring partner."
"Are you certain? You might get hurt or hurt her." Hawkwoman responded.
"Look, if she can't keep up, then we know, and she can live in peace away from the war. If she can kick my ass, then we know she can help if she wants to. Plus, she's Wonder Woman's grandmother! If that doesn't scream 'I'm a tough fighter', I don't know what does. Besides, between Flash's superspeed, Lantern's ring, your wings and maces and Dr Fate's super magic, I'm probably the safest bet. Plus, it'll give me some new tricks for next time and show where I can improve." Wildcat answered seriously. "No unfair advantages, no magic or weapons. Just two honest fisticuffs."
"I'm sorry I was gone for so long. I didn't realise so many years had passed." Sam admitted, "If I had known my daughter had a child, I would have rushed back to the island for a few hundred years."
"It's alright, grandmother. Mother told me all about you when I was growing up. How you guided and saved many lives, changing the thoughts of people for the better. I feel like I know you already." Wonder Woman answered. "But this time we have together, we can make it up."
Sam nodded, giving her granddaughter a kiss on the forehead "You are a wonderful young lady, Diana."
"I had good role models to look up to." Diana smiled.
"Excuse me, Ms King." Wildcat walked up. "D'you have a moment?"
"Yes, I do. Is something wrong?" Sam asked.
"We've been talking, and we wanted to see if you wanted to join the Justice Society." He answered.
"Are you serious?" Sam blinked in shock.
"Yeah, but it's a daunting task. You can refuse if you want, but we wondered if you can keep up with us. Considering your age." Wildcat responded as politely as possible.
"Young man, I'm nearly a million years old. But I'm not decrepit." Sam joked about her age as she got up. "What do you want me to do?"
"A sparring match. Me vs you." He answered.
"Is this a handicap match? You think my grandmother can't face the others?" Diana asked, feeling her family's honour hurt.
Wildcat simply pointed at them and then himself. "Flight and maces, super-speed, magic-space ring, crazy levels of magic. Dedicated fighter."
"I accept." Sam smiled as she began to stretch. "I'm feeling much better now. And there's something I need to do that you might be able to help me with."
She rolled her shoulder, looking to the sky calmly as she took a deep breath.
"Ready?" Wildcat asked as he got into position.
"Ready." Sam nodded, clenching her fists closed to fight.
The two ran at each other and threw their punches, ready to fight.
To be continued
