Mimic:

Harry Potter knew something had to be done before he or anyone else ended up badly injured or dead. Between Snape and Malfoy, they were causing a lot of trouble at Hogwarts and the headmaster just let them do whatever they wanted.

It took a while for Harry Potter to work on his plans. He was going to use a little gift he had that he kept secret. Once he knew how he was stared at due to the-boy-who-lived, Harry decided no one would know about this gift, at least not yet. He had not decided if he would ever tell anyone. For now, it was going to be used to get rid of people like Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy.

The hardest part of the plan was making sure Neville, Susan, Hannah, Hermione and Ron would be in the right spot at the right time. He also had to make sure that Malfoy ended up in the area where his body would be found. He didn't need Snape to be there, Harry would be the one killing Malfoy, using Malfoy's own wand. With the invisibility cloak and map, Harry would have no trouble sneaking up to Malfoy. Then he just had to use his gift when he knew his friends were in the right spot, listening. But he did have to make sure that Snape wasn't seen by anyone, especially any of the staff.

It went perfectly. Harry did what he had to then hurried back to Gryffindor tower and made sure to be seen talking to the twins.

Susan Bones aunt was the head of the DMLE and Susan had a way to contact her aunt in case of emergencies. The moment Amelia Bones arrived with a large group of aurors, two instantly stunned Snape and took him away, before Albus Dumbledore even knew what was going on. Harry arrived after everyone else.

'Sorry I'm late, but what's going on?'

'We heard Snape kill Malfoy,' Ron said.

'What!?' Harry made sure to act surprised before he turned to his female friend.

'They were arguing then Snape used the killing curse,' Hermione said.

'I contacted my aunt straight away,' Susan gestured towards her aunt.

'Did you see anything?'

'No, we only heard their voices,' Hermione said.

'Aunt said they can take memories to use in trials.'

'Which my aurors are going to do now. If you six can go with the aurors, they will remove the memory to make sure there is no chance of tampering.'

'Um, ma'am, I just got here, I didn't hear or see anything. I got stuck talking to the Weasley twins when I told this lot I would meet them.'

'It's true Aunty, Harry only just arrived, after all of you,' Susan said.

'Alright then, the five of you will have your memories removed but you will also be questioned about what you saw, heard and why you are here. Mr Potter, I would be best if you return to your house room.'

'Yes ma'am,' Harry gave his friends a look before walking away. He had seen Dumbledore watching him but he ignored the headmaster.

The trial for Severus Snape was held the following day. Once the memories from the five students were heard, he was found guilty of murdering Draco Malfoy and sentenced to life in Azkaban. Albus had tried everything to make people believe that Severus was innocent, that someone set him up. But the memories supplied by Susan Bones, Hannah Abbott, Neville Longbottom, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger proved that Severus Snape had cast the killing curse on Draco Malfoy using Draco's wand. No matter what Albus said or did, no one would listen to him about Severus.

Albus knew no one liked Severus so he knew he would not get any support in trying to free the man. He would not give up, he would find out exactly what happened and who it was that made sure that Severus was seen as a killer.

Over the following years, Albus continued to try to find out who set Severus up, but he never found anyone or any proof. He spoke with the five students many times about what they saw and heard. He even asked why they had been in that area when Draco had been killed. They explained that they were only walking passed when they heard Snape and Malfoy arguing, so they stopped. They heard everything that was said. Their stories never changed and Albus even got to see the memory of what they heard. Even though he did hear Severus voice arguing with Draco and using the killing curse, he still didn't believe it.

Albus had a theory, that someone had used polyjuice potion to become Severus. The moment he cast the curse, that person left and stayed hidden until the potion wore off. He had spoken with Harry since he was late arriving on the scene but the Weasley twins backed up Harry's story. The three of them were talking until Harry met up with his friends. After the few times Albus had called those six students to his office to discuss the day Draco was murdered, they all said that they would no longer be talking about it. It was over and done with and the murderer caught. They wanted to put that to rest.

After years of trying to find the truth and the six students who had heard what happened now refuse to speak with him, Albus finally realised there was nothing he could do. He still believed someone set Severus up to make it seem like he killed Draco. Other deaths occurred and again it was usually heard from someone but it was not seen. Those people who was heard killing someone also went to Azkaban. It seemed that someone had a grudge against Slytherin's as most of the deaths or the ones accused of killing were Slytherin's. There were a couple that died from other houses but it was again a Slytherin who was sent to Azkaban for killing the person.

It had been the beginning of Harry Potter's fourth year that Severus had told Albus that the dark mark was getting darker. Just before Severus had been sent to Azkaban, he told Albus that all of a sudden, the dark mark disappeared. It was only a week after Severus was taken away, that many people who had been accused of being death eaters had disappeared or been found guilty of killing. Albus did not know if any of it was linked, he just had a feeling that there was one person who was responsible, he just didn't know who that person was. He will never give up but he could not spend all his time investigating. He also could not control Harry Potter once he graduated.

The first thing Albus found out what Harry had left the Dursley's and had his own home, that no one could enter. No one ever knew where it was. Harry would visit people but no one could visit him. Albus always thought Harry would need to stay safe until Voldemort was taken care of. Voldemort never returned and Harry left the day he turned seventeen, he was now out of Albus' reach.

It will be years later, after Snape died in Azkaban that Albus Dumbledore heard some startling news, about Harry Potter. Any time he had tried to find Harry or anything on him, no one would speak with him. Albus found out that since he supported a killer, no one trusted him any more. Since Harry had specifically said he wanted nothing to do with Albus Dumbledore, everyone supported him so they refuse to tell Albus anything about Harry.

Albus did find out that Harry had married Susan Bones and they had a son. He heard that Susan was also pregnant again. Albus always thought Harry would end up with Ginny Weasley as it was known during her years at Hogwarts that she liked Harry. But Harry ended up marrying Susan. He did find out that Harry and Susan got together not long after Severus was sent to Azkaban. It was the reason Harry, Ron and Hermione were with the other students when they heard Draco Malfoy get murdered. Harry wanted to get to know other students, he started with Susan and Hannah. He just never told his friends that he fancied Susan.

Albus had been surprised that Harry did not end up becoming an auror, he ended up becoming a wand maker. He began working for Garrick Ollivander from the moment he left Hogwarts until he ended up taking over as the main wand maker in England when Garrick died. It took him years to get that information about Harry. It was the last bit of information he found out about Harry that made Albus suspicious.

Harry Potter was a mimic. Albus could not prove Harry had anything to do with Malfoy's death or Snape being sent to jail. When he found out about being a wand maker, Albus decided to speak with Harry about his ability. Albus had to be careful and not make Harry believe he was accusing him. He had to make Harry believe he was just curious about this gift. All Harry said was he could mimic a person when he sings, yet he proved he could not copy anyone's speaking voice, it was just songs. He could sing exactly like the singer.

Albus did not want to believe that Harry would kill, unless it was an accident, but he had begun to get suspicious that Harry might be behind all the deaths. He might not have been the one to literally kill them, but they died due to his ability to mimic anyone. He spoke privately to a few people about what he believed, not mentioning Harry's name, but no one believed that one person could be responsible for all those deaths or all those that were sent to Azkaban.

Albus went to his death still believing Severus was innocent and Harry had been behind it all. It wasn't until he crossed over that he knew the truth. By then it was too late to do anything. He realised that Harry Potter, the-boy-who-lived, the one who everyone hailed a hero, is the one responsible for all those that died or all those that had suffered in Azkaban.

Albus realised he never knew Harry Potter at all. He did get to speak with a few who had crossed over and all of them said that Albus should not be so surprised that Harry would kill. He grew up in a home where he learned to hate. He learned to be watchful and learned to never trust anyone. Harry perfected his act of innocence before he came to Hogwarts. After his life with the Dursley's, which he eventually killed, Harry wasn't going to put up with people like Snape and Malfoy at Hogwarts. Between acting innocent and his gift, Harry had been able to take care of anyone dark without anyone ever suspecting Harry.

Albus also found out that Severus did not end up where he did. He had met up with many that he knew and had been close to. They all said that Severus Snape had been too dark to be with them.

Albus had always believed that when he crossed over, he would go on to his next great adventure. His afterlife did not turn out as he hoped. Lily and James made sure of that for what he allowed their son to be put through. He would be pranked for all eternity.

Albus might have finally got the answers to his questions but his afterlife was turning out to be worse than his actual life.

Harry Potter finally got everything he ever wanted, all thanks to his gift as a mimic.

The end:
