He would always let it be her choice to be with him, but he put his feeling on the line hoping she would reciprocate his feelings. He would always be there for her even if she chose a human husband.

Sesshomaru thinks about his love that has passed away. It has been 500 years since her departure. He awaits for her to be reincarnated, he almost gave up hope until he sees a girl in a coffee shop.
