AN: I know, I know. It's technically the next week. But…ah I got nothing. Anyways, I thought I had some notes floating around for this 14th chapter, but I can't find them, so we're doing this from a blank page. So if anything is different from what I said it'd be in March, then that's the reason why.

Previously

Either way, both girls were lost on memory lane, and eventually passed out without them even realizing it.

Presently

Hestia flashed into existence next to Percy, who was still healing. The huntresses had thought that he was half dead, and in a way, he was, but Hades has burned most of the projectiles before they hit Percy. Of course, he didn't do every single one, since he didn't want to show too much affection for the boy. And besides, it would do the boy good to be hit by an arrow if he was to become a effective war fighter.

As Hestia looked down at the boy with concern, a soft voice sounded next to her.

"The hunter took good care of him, as have I" it said

Hestia jolted with surprise and turned to face whoever had spoken. To her surprise and amazement, it was Hades. He was showing an unnatural care towards the boy recently, and Hestia was intent on finding out why.

Seeing Hestia's questioning look, Hades sighed. "I have to explain myself, don't I" he said.

Hestia remained silent.

"Okay, okay. Poseidon came to me. He told me to watch over his son, and I've been honoring that request." Hades said.

"Poseidon came to you too?" Hestia asked confused

"Yes. I have no idea why, as the last time me and him spoke was…a few years after the pact I believe."

"He came to me as soon as Percy was born. He told me of his heritage and his possible destiny. In the beginning I simply did it for him, but the more I did the more I started caring for the Percy." Hestia said.

They remained silent for a second before Hades spoke again.

"He really does care for the boy doesn't he? I haven't seen Poseidon this invested in one of his sons since Triton."

Hestia just nodded. They both didn't know why, but it still intrigued the both of them.

"I have to get going sister." Hades said. Hestia nodded farewell and focused back on the boy for a few moments before she went out to the Hunters to see how they were doing.

As soon as she stepped out of the medical tent, she saw Marie standing guard outside, looking almost dead on her feet. She knew that Marie felt guilty for her actions the day prior and was determined to make it up to Zoe in anyway she could.

"Dear, you can go sleep now. He is safe" Hestia said to the girl.

Marie's eyes shined with relief for a moment before she caught herself.

"No thank you my lady, I have orders." She replied.

"Your orders were to stand watch over him, correct?" Hestia said. Marie nodded

"Alright my dear, then you can stand watch over him by knowing that I'm here now, and that as long as I'm here, he's watched over."

That didn't quite make any sense to Marie, but she was also too tired to argue, and decided to go lay in her bed. At least for a little while.

Hestia continued her journey through the hunter's camp, greeting and exchanging pleasantries with all the hunters who were awake at that time at night. It was a relatively peaceful night, though without a moon, as Artemis was still in her tent recovering.

It was that thought that drove Hestia to go find Artemis and check up on her.

Opening the flap to the tent, she smiled softly at the sight that greeted her. Zoe and Phoebe were sprawled around the tent, fast asleep. Artemis was likewise asleep, and all three looked peaceful.

Not usually a sight seen on the faces of the otherwise grim hunters.

Seeing that everything was in order here, Hestia went back to Percy. Before she entered the medical tent, she realized that that didn't afford him much privacy. So she walked around the Hunters camp and found a relatively barren spot.

In that spot she put a tent that Artemis had given her a while ago. She had never used it, as she wasn't the camping type, so she knew this would better suit it's purpose.

She moved all of Percy's belongings and other stuff into that tent, and she would move him as soon as she could.

Seeing that there was nothing more she could do, she left for her home on Olympus.

Artemis POV

Artemis was half-awake, half-asleep. And she had been for the last hours. She had flashes of the hydra in her mind, and more flashes of memories. But one thing that popped into her mind would've made her face pale if she had been awake at that moment.

She owed Percy. A man.

As much as she hated men, she still held her honor. And it was that honor that wouldn't let her just kill the boy. She was going to have to pay that debt off somehow, but she just didn't know how.

Either way, she still hated the fact she owed a man. She was Artemis. She could handle herself. At least, on a normal day she could.

But she also remembered the way she treated him before that. She treated him like any other man. But…he wasn't any other man. He was Percy. And Percy had some how wormed his way into Artemis' good graces.

Which scared the Huntress. She wished she could just beat Percy like she would any other man, but to her he was a hunting companion, and a good one at that. She enjoyed his sarcastic humor and his seemingly never-ending strength and bravery.

She had seen first-hand how he would wade into battle like a grizzled war veteran, even though he was just twelve. And why would he do it?

Either because he had to, or he was asked to.

And not only that, but he often did it with a sarcastic joke or a funny insult towards the thing that wanted to kill him.

She was honestly impressed by him. And she wanted to train him so he could be a good fighter eventually, but she wasn't sure how to do that and keep him at a distance.

For the moment, all she knew was that he was important to her, and that she owed him. Both thoughts were equally terrifying and confusing. But she'd figure that our later. For now, she wanted to take a nap.

And nap she did.

AN: This chapter is a bit more filler, but I kind of explain some questions I've been getting. I need to get back into writing and all that, so the next chapter will be better. Also, a quick little announcement.

I'm not a fan of explaining irrelevant things on this platform. I like doing little explanations about the chapters at the end here, but I don't like going in depth here. For all those folks who want in depth explanations, I made a Twitter account. Now, this isn't some "give me a follow" or what not, it's seriously just for this story and whatever other story I'll be writing. I'm not going to force anybody to go on Twitter and follow and all that crap. But, if you want some long explanations about this story or what to discuss something about it in depth, then you can go over to Twitter. The account name is Flitmer_II (apparently, someone took just "Flitmer") Again, that's only for in depth stuff. You can still give me feedback here

Anyways, enough of that. I do have a question for you all. I have no idea how Artemis should repay the debt she owes to Percy. What would you fine folks like to see? Something realistic now. Remember, she's still a man-hater and a goddess, so nothing too crazy.

That's about it from me. Twitter is Flitmer_II or ii_flitmer, whichever one works. And send me your thoughts on Artemis paying back Percy
