Rahgol turned to face the World-Eater herself, the Goddess staring back at him, a feral smirk on her face. "You think because you wear that armour it makes you equal to me? Fool. After all this time...it finally comes to an end here. I'mglad to see you don't have those insolent mortals known as the Three Tongues aiding you. This is between me and you after all."

"It's how it was meant to be." Rahgol agreed before glancing at Tsun. "No one is to interfere in this. No. One." Tsun looked unsure but nodded, knowing he cannot interfere by the order of Akatosh himself.

Rahgol walked forward and stared up at Alduin who stared back. "I must admit, Rahgol, You have proven yourself to be a mighty foe, I cannot deny that. You even managed to stall Tamriel's doom when we fought on the Monahven. I hope you have mustered up the courage to face me again, because one of us is going to die this day." She said in a voice without emotion. "If you care for me, trulyc are for me...then fight me with all you have!"

"As you wish." Rahgol growled and before Alduin can fly off, Rahgol shouted. "JOOR ZAH FRUL!"

The blue energy slammed into Alduin, causing her to roar as she was forced to the ground. ALduin looked from her wings to Rahgol, her smirk still in place.

"Fine then, we'll do this on the ground first." Alduin said before she charged at Rahgol who unsheathed his sword and ran at her, leaping before he swung and managed to land a hit against the side of Alduin's jaw, causing her head to jerk a little before she brought her head into Rahgol's chest hard, sending him onto the floor. Rahgol rolled to avoid Alduin's foot stomping him into the ground until he got to his feet, dived in between her legs and went to jam his sword into her belly when her tail wrapped around his ankle and threw him away.

"YOL TOOR SHUL!" A massive burst of fire erupted from Alduin's mouth and Rahgol quickly rolled to the side, avoiding it only barely but Alduin had lunged and he dived to the side, causing her face to smash througha rocky wall but she ripped her head from it and tried snatching Rahgol in her jaws but he avoided them before jumping onto her snout and slashed her snout a few times, drawing blood. Alduin smacked him off with her paw and tried burning him with her fire but he voided it and threw a powerful fireball at her face, causing her to huff before an ice spike nearly hit her in the ey but she managed to smack it away with her wing, allowing Rahgol to run and slash her front left leg, then slash her belly, then a part of her wing.

"Enough!" Alduin roared and slammed her tail down on Rahgol's back, forcing him onto his stomach.

"Dragonborn!" A shout caught their attention and they looked to see the Three Tongues, Harkon, Gormlaith, and Felldir running to the battle. This angered Alduin.

"NONE SHALL INTERFERE!" She roared and fired her fire to separate the Tongues from her and Rahgol. Alduin whipped her head around to glare at Rahgol before she flapped her wings and took to the air, grabbing Rahgol in her claws and homed in on a pretty tall mountain away frpm the Tongues. "We shall finish this one on one!"

With that said, she threw Rahgol towards the mountain but he quickly shouted his Dragon Change Shout and changed before Alduin's very eyes. Alduin couldn't help but lick her lips at the sight of Rahgol's Dragon form. He was a very attractive male after all.

The two Dragons flew at each other and collided in a battle of Tooth and Claw, scratch and snarling at one another but Alduin showed superior skill since Rahgol hadn't been a Dragon for that long. So she tail smacked him into the mountain and he fell to the Earth but still survived. Rahgol groaned in pain and spat blood out as Alduin landed not too far from him. Changing back to human, Rahgol chuckled at he stumbled to his feet.

"You are as powerful as you are beautiful." He said with a grin.

Alduin snorted as their eyes met. "All once basked in my beauty. All women envied me. All men wanted me...but they can't have me. You have changed, Rahgol. You have changed from the person i met a year ago in Helgen. A rude, little mortal with no respect for anyone."

"Actually, that's still the same. I just lightened up a little because of my friends." Rahgol said.

Alduin scoffed. "Friends...why have friends when they lust for your power and try to overthrow you? I have suffered that. Dov I call friends trying to overthrow me to get the power I was born into. "I want my old precious life back! I want to sit at the top of the food chain, where mortals like you bow before me. It is my birthright to rule! I have ridden through the currents of time, waiting for my return only to see my world in pieces! Only remnants of my ancient glory remained!"

"Maybe, but can't there be a time Dragons and the mortals live in peace again?" Rahgol asked.

"That happened once...never again! The mortals turned on us first! Why?! Why do you want to see peace between us so much?!"

"BECUASE I LOVE YOU!"

Alduin froze at those words and everything seemed to have gone silent and still. "Y-You what?"

"i love you!" Rahgol said, unable to resist crying as a few tears fell down his cheeks. "I fell in love with you after all our meetings together! I learned to respect you, what you went through, but I had hoped there could be a way for you to have that again without resorting to these measures! Things have changed since your time, Alduin! Maybe not all mortals can change! But...we could've changed them! Fucking dammit, I love you! I want to be with you! But I can't!"

Steeling himself, Rahgol gripped his sword tightly and ran, leaping at Alduin, who was still silent and still as he raised his sword. Alduin looked up and was unable to do anything as Rahgol brought his sword down and pierced her jaw. Rahgol then realized what he had done and pulled his sword out, tossing it aside as he cradled Alduin;s snout on his lap.

"No! No! No! What have I done?!" Rahgol cried as he looked into the eyes of the Dragoness he loved. "Please! Please don't...don't go."

"It's okay..." She whispered despite the wound in her jaw.

"No! Not you! i'm sorry! i'm so sorry!" Rahgol cried harder. "Don't leave me...I don't want to live without you! I-I didn't mean..."

"Shhh..." Alduin shushed him softly as she nudged her snout into his stomach as best as she could and he hugged her. "We'll...we'll meet again...o-one day."

Her body rose and red lines appeared as her skin seemed to fall, revealing a black skeleton of some kind. Before her death finally came to her, Alduin locked eyes with HER Dragonborn and managed a smile.

"I love you..." She whispered to him before her body then turned into orange energy that swirled up into the air. Rahgol closed his eyes as he cried harder, hating himself for what he had done.

The Monahven was calm and quiet. No one bothered coming, which eased Paarthurnax greatly. He enjoyed the calm and coldness of this place, even the lack of air. However, the cold that had just seeped in his heart was different.

"Alduin, why did it have to happen like this?" Paarthurnax asked to the sky. It was over, she was dead. Deep down he hoped that Alduin realized that her ambitions were futile, but it was her nature that she was stubborn and arrogant in her power. Yet, against all odds, Rahgol had won.

"The boy must be heartbroken…" Paarthurnax muttered sadly. He steeled his gaze when he heard the first roars of the Dragons coming towards the Monahven to great their savior.

Once he stopped crying, Rahgol wiped his dried tears away and picked up his sword, sheathing it. He had a blank expression on his face as he turned and walked to where the Three Tongues and Tsun were.

"it had to be done, Dragonborn." Tsun said softly, seeing the loss in his eyes and the repression of grief.

"Just...send me back." Rahgol muttered in a broken tone, unable to defend Alduin or rage at what he had done. Tsun nodded and sent Rahgol back.

When Rahgol opened his eyes, he found himself at the Throat of the World.

The sky was clear and black, with the aurora and stars giving of their beautiful light. Rahgol noticed many Dragons sitting on the stones and some where even circling around the mountaintop. Rahgol saw Paarthurnax giving him a sad yet satisfied look. Many Dragons were speaking in their own Tongue, still incomprehensible to me. Every time a Dragon ended with their speech, he or she gave Rahgol a nod and left the Monahven. Finally, only Paarthurnax remained. Rahgol walked towards him, while he hopped in the snow from the word wall.

"So, it is done. Alduin dilon. The Eldest is no more, she who came before all others, and has always been." The old Dovah had tears in his eyes also.

"Yes..." Rahgol said brokenly. Paarthurnax brought his son into his side and kept him close.

"I am not happy either. Briinahi lost on du'ul Bormahu. Alduin was once the crown of our father Akatosh's creation. You did what was necessary. Alduin had flown far from the path of right action in her pahlok, the arrogance in her power. But I cannot celebrate her fall, just like you. Zu'u tiiraaz ahst ek mah. She was my sister once. This world will never be the same. At least this world will continue to exist."

Rahgol said nothing, closing his eyes tightly as he cried for the loss of the one he loved...

Rahgol, in Dragon form, landed outside of Sky Haven Temple and changed back to human. Apparently, he can change at will without having to rely on the Shout. It seems he had somehow unlock the form permanently instead of Shouting himself into it. If it was some reward for what he dud...then he despised himself for it. He walked into the Temple, walking with a blank look until he finally found the two people he was looking for.

Delphine and Esbern.

"Dragonborn!" Esbern gasped, noticing him first. "You've returned! is it...is it done? is Alduin dead?"

Rahgol nodded silently. He was at peace with the decision he was making here. Not killing Alduin, no...another decision he had long chosen.

"Good." Delphine smiled with relief. "Now that the bitch is dead. We can finish the rest of them. They'll be reckless without a leader, we can hunt them down and put them down like the animals they are...starting with Paarthurnax."

"No."

Delphine and Esbern looked at Rahgol who stared at them blankly.

"No?" Esbern blinked.

"No...you will NOT be harming a single Dragon anymore." Rahgol said coldly. "I forbid it."

"you forbid it?!" Delphine laughed. "Who do you think you are?! We are the Blades! We hunt Dragons down for a living! YOU WORK FOR US!"

in the blink of an eye, Rahgol had unsheathed his sword and slashed Delphine's chest, causing her to scream in pain and fall down, clutching her wound.

"Rahgol! What are you-" Esbern tried saying but Rahgol changed into his Dragon form, causing pieces of the ceiling to fall due to his height.

"No... I have had enough of you two thinking you can demand things of me, get me to do your dirty work for a purpose that has no meaning in this day and age. The Blades...are no more."" Rahgol growled before he grabbed Esbern in his jaws and chewed on him before spitting his corpse out and turned to Delphine,

"Y-You traitor!" Delphine roared as she tried fighting but a tail smacked into her chest and sent her flying before she found herself pinned by the Dragon.

"I lost the one I love because of this fucking Prophecy." Rahgol growled. "No. I am done! I am done being the saviour! i am done doing ANYTHING for ANYBODY! And I am done...letting you live. Your usefulness was at an end anyway. You only lived because you were useful. Now...you will die."

Delphine screamed as jaws descended on her. Then Sky Haven temple would be destroyed soon after...

God, I REALLY wish we had the option of killing Delphine and Esbern in the game after the main storyline is done. Besides, they would be useless after the main storyline is completed in this story, so I figured killing them off was a good idea. Plus...I REALLY hated Delphine. It was the right choice to have them die.

So, Rahgol killed Alduin. I'm sorry the fight wasn't better, I tried my best. Alduin may be dead...but she will return...and she knows hiw Rahgol feels for her and she feels the same. So...look forward to THAT reunion.

And we still have Dawnguard and Dragonborn to go through.
