Sokwe and Kutojali were still fighting viciously and angrily at one another. Some of the chimps looled ready to go to their crazy leaders' aid. Alas, despite how painful it looked for both sides; it was a code of great apes. When two apes fight one on one, it will stay one on one, which means no one can help the fighting apes until one of them could no longer fight.

This battle was getting more and more tense every second of it. Sokwe kept on pounding Kutojali's back with his fists, but the chimp, being quicker and more swift, dodged and got behind Sokwe's back and held his arms together in a lock.

"You gorillas think you are better than us? huh? you think you are the lords of this mountai? Kutojali said. "We chimps are smarter and if anyone animal is to be called lords of these mountains, it is me and my family here!"

"Argh! there is more to being a learer than just brains, Kutojali!" said Sokwe qhile grunting. He managed to bump him in the face with his right elbow, into his nose. "It's about compassion and the love to take care of your family, and being fair to your subjects!

"Please!" said the chimp whole holding his nose in pain. "We use tools and we know how to fish for termites the easy way, but you?" he held him in a headlock, choking the gorilla. "You still rely on using your bare hands to do the job."

He began punching the gorilla's head multiple times, but Sokwe managed to get him off, grabbed him by the wrists and, with his great strength, threw him into a snow hill.

"I rule my family my own way, and you rule yours your own way, Kutojali." Sokwe pointed.

"OK, this is getting too real." aaid Heri. "What can we do to help Sokwe?"

"What can we do?" said Kiara.

"We can't just interfere with traditions." said Kovu. We're supposed to respect them, no matter how... brutal they are."

"What if Sokwe dies?" said Kion

"Oh come on." said Heri. "That's silly. I mean, he's a giant compared to that bony chimpanzee fighting him."

"True." Kion admitted. "He's beating him up like he weighs nothing to him at all."

"See why our dad is the greatest?" asked Majinuni in a boastful tone.

"He can handle anything." Hafifu added. "He's not the gorilla king for nothing. He's beaten Kutojali many times before. This won't be any different."

"Are you sure?" asked Chris

"Positive." Majinuni smirked.

"I wish my friends back home were here to see this." said Tara. She pulled out her phone to record it on video. "This is so going to get me more subscribers. Look at how tense this is."

"Tara," said Joel in a disapproving voice. "You shouldn't have that on your social media. It might be upsetting to some viewers. Besides, wouldn't it be an invasion of one's privacy?"

"I say, let her record this." said Kutojali, getting back on his feet, somehow hearit conversation. "I want to see myself in every moment of this as an example to the gorillas who try to disrespect me."

"Come on Kutojali." said Sokwe, getting on his hind-legs. "Aren't you getting tired of this? You might be as slippery as a snake or a lizard, but you can't possibly go against me."

"We'll see! Look at the scratches I've got on you." the chimp growled and charged at him while screeching and pouncing on him, punching him in the face over and over again with his fists.

Sokwe used his feet to grab the chimps torso and slam him on the ground while doing a back-flip.

"Ooh, that's impressive." Rani admitted.

The gorilla had the advantage now and he began pounding Kutojali's face, and gave him a nosebleed from the impact.

As painful as the punching was, Kutojali's managed to get a hand of the gorilla's left hand by biting it with his sharp teeth. Howling in pain, Sokwe grunted and grabbed him by the throat before punching him in the stomach over and over again.

"I will not let you hurt my family or friends, you dirty ape." Sokwe growled while gritting his teeth. "You have given us quite a bit of grief. So give me a good reason why I shouldn't rip your head off."

Kutojali thought he was bluffing at first, but came to realize how scary the gorilla looked when he was angry and knew that he probably signed his death warrant. "You stupid, barbaric, good-for-nothing brute!" the chimp gagged. "You can never have the amount of greatness we chimpanzees have!"

"You lack compassion and understanding for other creatures, and you do not have the empathy to share this mountain range with other animals seeking refuge or a new home!"

"I can so! I would just want them to know who's in charge around these parts: me!" Sokwe grew angrier. "I would just let the new inhabitants bow to me like their king, and my family in respect."

"Come on." said Sokwe, "you and i both know who the lord of this mountain is: moi." he was about to kill off his hated adversary by breaking his neck, but he realized that it would make him stoop to Kutojali's level, and he was far better than this kind of ape.

After all, Kutojali looked scared, and it wouldn't feel right to kill an animal who cannot defend himself like this. He immediately let him go, and the chimp was coughing for breath.

"I just want some respect. That is all I ask for, and my people."

"Respect is earned. Not given. Respect comes from the heart, not the fists or teeth. It all has to do with responsibility and compassion for others that make a good leader, Kutojali."

The chimp just coughed and gasped for air in response
