A recent graduate of Higher Education, darkkenchild now works as a High School English teacher in the Middle of Nowhere, USA. He has been writing off and on for most of his life, though only recently gained the courage to post anything where others can see them. The first works released to the public were a half completed series of Warcraft inspired poetry, that will likely never be reposted out of shame. Between chapters of his novel, darkkenchild has begun writing Harry Potter (and other) fanfiction as stress relief and practice. The short stories that eventually developed into the Preludes and early chapters of "Horcrux: Sins of Our Fathers" were originally written in January through March of 2011, with "The Night" being written after the other four initial works were written, sometime in late April of that Year. As personal interest has grown over the last few months, darkkenchild has returned to the series and plans to continue it to its strange and shocking conclusion (assuming things don't change before he gets there).

I am both open to, and hoping for, reviews and critiques. Horcrux is a side project, written for fun between other endeavors. Thus, I will aim for updates every week. If a bolt of inspiration strikes for something else, then Horcrux might fall to the wayside temporarily, but I will attempt to provide some warning for extended breaks.
