Disclaimer: Life WON'T be Normal is a story set in an alternate universe of Kingdom Hearts, set immediately after the third season of the previous story Life NEVER was Normal, after the second season Life DEFINATELY not Normal, after the first season Life FAR from Normal and after the Epilogue of, "The Betrayal of Light", also featuring many characters from Disney and Final Fantasy that haven't made it to Kingdom Hearts games or Manga yet and now also featuring characters from Sonic the Hedgehog.

Author's Note: Another episode based on Sonic Boom but with the Sonic characters more closely to the mainline games and the Sonic X anime, with our heroic Kingdom Hearts characters being the main mix, right here! Then the next two episodes will be based on the two parter I've been wanting to write for ages!

EP 12: Sleeping Rocky.

It was a peaceful, bright sunny day in Destiny Town. Which wasn't anything new for most people who lived in places that were tropical all year long. The students of Radiant Academy knew that much, and our heroic students and non-students, Ven and his friends, now officially including Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, and Amy Rose, loved everything about it. To Yozora, who felt like he was at home, saw that it was bigger than his home world where he was born and grew up in. Though Sonic stayed well away from the beach and water and instead opted to spend his time running on the mainland through the fields and canyons.

Tails was flying his plane, the newly built Tornado 2, Sonic was down below running happily, and Ven, Yozora, and Lea were riding on Reddy the Magic Carpet next to the young fox.

"Hey, Tails." Yozora greeted with a wave.

"Guess you guys decided to enjoy the flight too, huh?" The young fox waved back.

"With Reddy here? Who else can fly us with first class?" Lea grinned, enjoying the breeze. He then called down to the speedy blue hedgehog below. "Yo! You wanna ride with us or Tails?"

"Maybe later! But I'll be lookin' forward to it!" Sonic called back, smirking as he glanced over his shoulder. "But I wouldn't pass on a race."

"A race, huh? You guys wanna try?" Ven asked, feeling rather playful and excited today, and the other teens grinned in agreement. "Okay, you're on!"

"Just so you know, flight is faster than running. Got it memorized, Sonic?" The redhead informed, tapping the side of his head once more.

"Ha! That may be so, but I don't need wings to fly!" The blue hedgehog chuckled, already speeding up ahead.

At Ven's signal, Reddy sped up as well with the four human teenagers holding on with Yozora, and Lea cheering on excitedly. The magic carpet flew straight to the ground and flew at the same height as the heroic hedgehog who laughed, having a lot of fun.

"Let's go for a big boy ride!" Sonic declared, running in a zigzag pattern with Ven and the others following on the magic carpet, to which Yozora decided to stand up and wind surf.

"What are you doing, Yozora?" Ven asked, surprised as he and Lea both gazed at the Teenage-Sora's stunt.

"I used to do this with the Magic Carpet back at home! Well, in Agrabah, I mean." The Alternate-Sora exclaimed, recalling memories of own adventures in his dimension.

"You must've done a lot of surfing if you're able to pull that off." Lea remarked impressively.

Yozora just chuckled sheepishly. "Um...We don't have surfboards."

"Huh? Really? Then how did you-"

"Hey, heads up!" Sonic quickly warned as he raced past a rock, but unfortunately his warning came too late as even Reddy began to panic. Because the blue hedgehog noticed that Timon and Pumbaa were both climbing onto the same rock to try and catch an insect, but the two bestest best friends were accidentally knocked over by Ven's group on the carpet and fell off.

The two animals screamed while hitting their heads onto another rock piled under the one that they were on top on hard, and then fell onto the ground, seeing stars comically circle around their heads. When the five teenages saw this, the fifteen year old hero skid to a stop while Ven pulled Reddy to slow down, and then they hurried back to the duo who stood up wobbily, Ven, Yozora, and Lea hopping off of their flying friend and Sonic standing next to them.

"But I wanna make a snowman, Mommy..." Timon muttered, completely dazed before falling backwards onto the ground once more.

"I think you kids need to be more careful with running and flying. Somebody could've gotten hurt." Pumbaa, regaining his senses after shaking his head, advised cautiously.

"Oh. Sorry." Yozora muttered sheepishly as he and Ven both rubbed the back of their heads.

"You know, in retrospect that might've been such a bad distraction." Lea said dryly.

Timon then recovered and glared at the four teenagers. "What are you kids doing!? Don't you know running and flying in a canyon is asking for a rock-slide?"

"Hey, we were having a race. It's not our fault that you were climbing up the wrong rock." Sonic pouted, folding his arms.

Genie then suddenly appeared from the lamp in Ven's pocket, dressed as housemaid while having pudding all over his head.

"Okay, who rocked the house? All have you know, dessert is completely ruined!" The magical being said in annoyance, also in an falsetto woman's voice as he pulled the pudding and pan off of his head and then tossed it right into the rocks that Timon and Pumbaa hit their heads on.

Just then, they heard rocks begin to clutter and fall which alarmed the seven of them as they all looked up half-expecting a rock-slide. But what they saw didn't come even close; Well, it sort of did, because right before their eyes several rockets somehow stood up! All piled up revealing that it wasn't just normal rocks at all, but a giant rock monster slowly standing up as it held it's head with a moan before it yawned and peered down at the stunned and horrified group below. Timon and Pumbaa both immediately held onto each other while quivering in fear.

"Uh-oh." The Warthog gulped.

"Huh, maybe it's a friendly gargantuan rock monster." Lea suggested hopefully as he gazed at the monster.

"Yeah, could be." Yozora agreed hopefully, only for the rock monster to bend down and roared angrily right into the group's face which blew them back, causing the group fall onto the ground hard, with Yozora, Sonic and Ven on their faces before the trio pushed themselves up.

"Nope. He's playing into the stereotype." Sonic corrected nervously with a gulp.

"We're in trouble!" Pumbaa exclaimed nervously.

"Look out!" Ven exclaimed as the giant rock monsters made to punch or grab him, Yozora and Sonic, but the trio leaped back to safety. The blond-spiky-haired teen then narrowed his eyes and quickly summoned the Emerald Sword while Yozora pulled out his brandsword, and then they charged to attack while Sonic dashed around the monster who tried to hit him but missed.

"I think this is where we're gonna need some reinforcements." Lea commented as he hopped back onto Reddy along with Timon and Pumbaa who both shook in fear, while the red-haired teen pulled out his shurikens while Tails, seeing what was happening and had been shocked, flew in. "Here we come!"

But the rock monster hit all five of them and sent them flying high into the sky.

"There we go!" Tails screamed in panic.

Both Ven and Yozora tossed their swords right at the monster's head, but to their and Sonic's shock the weapons just clattered and fell uselessly onto the ground, even though the Emerald Sword did make a bit of a damage but not much. The blue hedgehog quickly picked up the swords while continuing to dodge the rock giant's attacks and eventually pushed both boys out of the way.

"Genie, we could use some help!" Ven cried out.

"Keep him busy, Ven! I'll give you a hand with his feet with my head." Genie declared, magically turning himself into a blue rhino and charged. "CHAAARRRGE!"

But as the magical being charged and hit the rock's leg, he didn't to any damage at all to it.

CRASH!

Instead he ended up hitting his head and was thrown back before stumbling onto the ground, dizzily transforming into a big four year old boy while muttering in daze. "Yes, grandma, I'll have another cookie." He then collapsed comically.

"Guys, he's heading straight towards Destiny Town!" Yozora exclaimed in panic, witnessing the giant rock monster leaving the canyon.

"We have to stop it somehow!" Ven exclaimed.

"C'mon! Hold on tight!" Sonic declared, grabbing Yozora's left wrist and Ven's right wrist, before speeding after the monster while the two human boys screamed as they held on as hard as they could.

While the three teenage boys were in pursuit of their opponent, the giant rock monster arrived in Destiny Town's village where people, seeing it arrive began to run away screaming in fear, before it kicked a large boulder into the air. The trio saw this and gasped in shock before Sonic set Ven and Yozora down and raced to save an anthropomorphic beaver who was hauling a crate of lemons. While the blue hedgehog had saved the beaver who yelped in fright, the boulder crushed the crate and squashed all of the lemons, sending juice flying everywhere and some landing impressively neatly into an empty wooden barrel.

Sonic gently placed the beaver down and chuckled, jokingly saying. "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade."

"But I already had the lemons." The Beaver sadly muttered, just as Ven and Yozora approached, as did Genie who was sporting a black eye, a sling and an ice-pack strapped around his head along with a bandage.

"I could use lemonade right now, with fresh ice cubes." The magical being muttered painfully.

"Ven!" Mickey's voice called out as the teenage mouse along with Melody, Goofy, Donald, Aqua, Terra, Iago, Mushu, Amy, Minnie, Daisy, Selphie, Isa, Myde and even Arlene, who looked very irritated to have her vacation alongside her mother(much to Lea's horror as he tried to avoid said mother while both Reno and Elena were back in the Academy), raced over.

"What in the haystack's goin' on?" Mickey continued, completely shocked.

"Well, we have a giant rock monster causing chaos all over the place." Yozora muttered sheepishly, his hands placed behind his head.

"You mean we have a 'Granifer Giganticus causing chaos all over the place'." Aqua corrected.

"Uh, yeah, that." Yozora nodded.

"Thanks for clearing that up." Sonic placed a finger onto his forehead, exasperated by the ridiculous name of the giant rock monster.

"Why do I always have to be around when giant monsters of any kind cause all kinds of disasters?" Iago whined, facepalming himself in pleading and dismay. "Can't it just be a friendly, soft one like a stay-puffed-marshmallow or somethin'?"

The rock monster, the Granifer Giganticus moaned as it plucked a lemon tree before tossing it, making the others jump out of the way...except for Iago who saw this too late and squawked in fear and the tree landed right on top of him and surprisingly upright. Groaning in pain the red parrot dug and pulled himself out, gasping for air and coughed up sand and dirt that got into his mouth.

"I knew I should've just stayed at the academy!" Iago complained while bonking his head to get sand out of his ear-holes, only to be quickly pilled up by hundres of lemons that fell out of the tree, causing him to cry out and grunt in pain and alarm. "Omph!"

"At least we'll have plenty of lemons to squeeze onto grilled fish." Myde commented with a shrug, only to yelp in fright when everyone heard screaming and Timon came falling fast and crashed head first into the ground in an awkward position with his head stuck. Lea and Pumbaa in the meantime nearly had a rough landing on Reddy who landed in a bit of a crash but managed to prevent them both from landing hard, while Tails' plane fell out from the sky but the young kit successfully landed the plane which was smoking.

Luckily like the red-headed teen and warthog, the two-tailed fox was fine. His plane on the other hand fell apart and stopped smoking all together.

"Tails! You okay?" Sonic asked as he immediately hurried to his best friend, worried for the younger one's safety. "Nothing's broken in ya', is there?

"Don't worry, I'm fine. This is actually one of my softer landings. Besides that I have to rebuild this plane, I don't have any broken bones or body parts. It's the Tornado 2 that's broken." The eight year old cub reassured, though he did look disappointed that his plane was ruined and sighed. "It's too bad I'm a lousy manufacturer."

"But you're a great mechanic and carer." The blue hedgehog pointed out reassuringly, helping his little brother out of the plane as the Tails smiled softly at him.

Timon and Iago both managed to pull themselves out of the ground, the latter dusting himself off while the former coughed and spat the dirt out of his mouth while dusting his face off.

"It's offical. I am dreaming!" The Meerkat declared.

"Uh, guys? Rock monster!?" Amy screamed out to get everyone's attentions back into the situation with the rock monster still causing problems, especially as it is walking straight towards them.

"Oh, yeah, right!" Sonic yelped, carrying Tails as he and the others hurried away to safety as the rock monster walked past them and they all sighed in relief. "Phew...Man, that was close. Don't know about you guys, but I don't wanna have any of you or even me be squashed flat like a pancake."

But then he gasped in shock along with the rest of the group when Reddy was stepped on by the Granifer Giganticus who seemingly ignored them while the magic carpet, well, uh...laid flat.

"Oh, he trampled the carpet!" Genie screamed hysterically as he poofed next to the red carpet who stood up, a bit sore, before he realized what he said and said to the readers/viewers. "That's a little redundant."

He then turned to Reddy and said nonchalantly. "So this isn't really a bad day for you, is it?"

"Well, at least it's not a Titan out to eat people or in the Attack on Titan High School's case, stealing people's lunch." Myde weakly pointed out, shakily.

"Ugh, you still watch that stupid parody of the R-Rated TV show?" Arlene grunted in irritation, scaring the mullet-haired teen who squeaked a little in fear.

"It's comedy...!" He said defensively.

"Hey, Aqua. What do you know about that Granifer...Giga-what's-it?" Yozora asked the blue-haired teenage woman, folding his arms as he couldn't pronouce the rock monster's actual name.

"Granifer Giganticus is a proud race of mountain dwellers from the time of the Ancients. No one has seen one in hundreds of years." Aqua explained.

"That's not true. Because we saw that one today." Pumbaa pointed out, causing Iago, Mushu and Timon to narrow their eyes dully.

"That's not what she meant." Mushu shook his head.

"I've never heard of the Granifer Giganticus, and I've been inside the Lamp for ten thousand years and then the scepter for another one thousand." Genie shrugged cluelessly.

(As stated in "Life FAR from Normal")

The Granifer Giganticus meanwhile continued to roam around the town before he takes a seat on a hut, but it crushes underneath the monster.

"He's ignoring the "You break it, you bought it" sign!" Goofy exclaimed hysterically. "He really is a monster!"

Donald just facepalmed himself in exasperation.

Meanwhile, in the Carpies mountains, the flock of said birds including their king, a year after failing to keep Selphie as his Song-Bird, were still attempting to capture her and destroy Ven and his friends from Radiant Academy, but each and every passing day lead them keep holding back due to the teenager's heroic deeds against other evil villains and monsters.

Except now one of the 'spy' Carpies brought in good news.

"What? The ancient Granifer Giganticus is awake?" The Carpie King asked, shocked and stunned on what he was hearing.

"Yes, your Majesty, and the best part is, our little Song-Bird and her friends are on the island struggling to stop it. But they have new friends with them: a meerkat, a stinky warthog, a very fast blue hedgehog, a pink hedgehog, a fox with two tails that can fly a plane, and a boy who's face is identical to that of Ventus." The Carpie Spy reported.

This seemed to please the King as he had wanted Selphie back in his cage for months ever since the humiliating loss against the Students of Radiant Academy along with the red parrot and Second in Command of the Turks.

(Shown back in Episodes 4 and 5 of "Life DEFINATELY not Normal")

"Then I suppose this is the time we make our attack. While those fools are busy attempting to stop it as only the song of the worst singer can lure it to sleep, we swoop in to take back my Song-Bird and destroy Ventus and his friends." The Carpie King declared. "Fly to the Islands, my Carpies!"

All of the Carpies squawked loudly as they and the King then flew out of their cave-mountain home and flew off to Destiny Town in their goal to finally capture Selphie and get rid of Ven and his friends.

At the same time on his island base in between the main continent and Destiny Town, Eggman was monitoring the situation on what was going on himself as he planned another evil scheme to try and rule the world, find the Chaos Emeralds and destroy Sonic, Ventus, Yozora, and their friends.

"Egad! There's a pitiless monster spreading destruction and horror across the land!" The evil scientist exclaimed in shock as he, Decoe, Bocoe and Bokkun watched the giant rock monster wreak havoc across the town.

"That sounds like your kind of people." Bokkun stated, munching on a packet of chips.

Eggman chuckled evilly as he began to form another idea, grinning in glee over the destruction. "Oh, I'm a huge fan of his work. I must make him my minion; he could destroy entire cities!" He then broke the fourth-wall by whispering to the readers/viewers. "And clean my rain gutters; they're hard to reach."

He then turned to his robotic minions and commanded. "Decoe, Bocoe, go capture him!"

"Why, us?" Decoe complained as he and his companion were not looking forward to this.

"There's no way we could catch that behemoth." Bocoe agreed.

"Well, not with a negative attitude like that." The mad doctor growled, and snapped. "Now get moving!"

Knowing that they had no choice but to obey, Decoe and Bocoe both walked away to begin Operation: Capture Giant Rock Monster...

And let's be truthful here. Eggman is going to regret this fairly quickly.

"Who asked you, you goody-goody hero-loving Authoress!?" Eggman shouted suddenly at the writer(Me) at the screen as he again broke the fourth-wall. "You had those brats defeat Hades, Nasira and Jafar, why not let the bad guys win for once?"

I just gave him a dull look and purposely flicked him on the nose, sending him flying out of his chair and crashing onto the ground as he yelped in pain and alarm, beginning to see stars before passing out. I just grinned from my computer.

Anyway, back to the story.

Back with Ven's group, the group are gazing at the giant rock monster who was still sitting down, seemingly stopping.

"So, so horrible; they were supposed to reupholster my loveseat here." Amy sighed in dismay as the hut was the loveseat shop.

"We have a giant rock monster causing problems and you're worried about a loveseat?" Iago asked incredulously at the pink hedgehog.

"There's something really odd about this guy." Isa commented, folding his arms in suspicion.

"Hey, I think he's doin' what Uncle Goof used to do." Goofy realized as he(surprisingly enough), Tails, Lea and Terra studied the Granifer Gigaticus. "When has that inso-ma...uh, somethin'..."

"Insomnia?" Terra correctly guessed.

"Yeah, that's it! Ayhuck! He can never get comfortable, so he's always fluffing his pillow." The teenage dog chuckled, and strangely enough, the rock monster groaned while knocking off the roof of a house. "Like that!"

"...Okay. What else does Uncle Goof do?" Lea asked, raising an eyebrow as he began to have suspicions about this.

"Next, he would get up and have a drink of water." Goofy explained.

As though predicting the future, the giant rock monster got up and walked over to the town's centre fountain, ripping part of it off as water came sprouting right into it's mouth and it gulped as much of it as it could.

"Like that!" Goofy added.

The rock monster then yawned and released non-anthropomorphic ducks that came flying out, much to everybody else's disturbance and shock.

"Hmmm...Uncle Goof never yawned birds before." The teenage dog commented, scratching the top of his head.

The giant rock monster then yawned once more as it stretched out it's arms before walking away from the village and then realization dawn onto the young heroes as their eyes widened.

"Wait a minute! He's not rampaging at all!" Mickey gaped in surprise and realization.

"Do you know what this means?" Donald asked, also coming to the same conclusion.

"He's tired and is looking for a place to nap?" Pumbaa guessed correctly.

"Pumbaa, I think he's trying to find a place to nap." Timon apparently informed his friend.

"That's what's going on!" Sonic snapped his fingers. "He's trying to get comfortable."

"That means he can't sleep." Yozora realized.

"And we kind of accidentally woke him up." Ven muttered sheepishly.

Arlene gave Ven, Yozora, Sonic, Lea, Timon, Pumbaa, and Genie who all looked a bit guilt-ridden over this. "For future clearance: This whole thing is all your fault."

Ven scratched the back of his head, Yozora scratched the side of his face, Sonic shrugged, Lea folded his arms with a sigh, and Genie twiddled his fingers, all looking sheepish while Timon whistled nervously and Pumbaa muttered apologetically. "Sorry."

"That doesn't matter. We have to help him get back to sleep." Terra declared.

Everyone(even the annoyed Arlene, nervous Myde and irritated Iago) all nodded in agreement.

Via Sonic's speed, Reddy the Magic Carpet, and Genie's magic, Ven and the others followed the Granifer Giganticus who entered another canyon far from the beach and reached a large boulder before slumping against it and attempted to doze off, the group landing on the ground(though Sonic was already on the ground) and stood before it.

"I'm no giant-rock-monsterologist, but our guy looks overtired." Lea stated, placing his hands behind his head.

"The poor thing. How can we help him get back to sleep?" Melody sighed, feeling sorry for the giant rock monster.

"I know. Why don't we sing it a lullaby?" Minnie suggested.

"Good idea, Minnie. Nothing helps little kids get to sleep than a night-time beddy-bye song." Mickey smiled in agreement. "So maybe it'll help our giant rock friend to get some sleep."

"I agree. It helped with Sora, Riku, Kairi, Namine, Roxas and Xion, right?" Melody added with a smile.

'Huh? Oh, right. She means my younger self and the others. I keep forgetting there's two of me and I'm Yozora here.' Yozora thought to himself, still adjusting in being the alternate-older version of his younger-self of this world.

"Nothing brings on sleep like a dose of melody sung by a sweet songbird." Amy said happily while clasping her hands, but to her, Sonic, Tails, and Yozora's surprise, the rest of the group, except for Timon and Pumbaa, all groaned as the twelve year old inadvertently brought back bad memories for them.

"Please don't say the word songbird again, Amy. I get nightmares about that." Selphie begged.

"Ugh, especially when she's been kidnapped by giant mutant crows and locked up in a giant bird cage so that they can get to sleep." Iago groaned, shuddering over the memories of the Carpies.

"Giant mutant crows?" Sonic and Yozora both asked simultaneously.

"He's talking about the Carpies, nasty ugly birds who live in the highest mountain in the entire region back at home. Long story." Lea wirly replied.

While the four who hadn't been there at the time were still confused, they decided to ask about that adventure story later, and Selphie, since she is a wonderful singer, then cleared her throat, and began singing. "~Hush, little Granifer Giganticus, don't say a word; Selphie's gonna buy you a mockingbird!~"

Unfortunately, the rock monster didn't like it as it groaned while covering it's non-visible ears before running off, much to Selphie's shock as her eyes were wide before pouting.

"No way was I that bad!" Selphie pouted, folding her arms.

"What did you expect? He's a rock!" Iago pointed out while rolling his eyes.

"Yeah, what does he know?" Amy agreed, her hands on her hips.

"Maybe he only likes 'Rock-Music'." Sonic joked with a grin to lighten the mood, and while most of the group stared at him in disbelief, Myde, Timon and Lea burst out into hysterical laughter.

"That's a good one, Sonic!" Lea laughed, slapping his knee.

"Bwahahahahaha! That's just awesome!" Myde agreed hysterically.

"Oh, I love you, kid. A joker after my own heart." Timon wheezed with tears of laughter in his eyes.

"Sometimes being around boys is a burden." Daisy whispered to the girls who all nodded in agreement.

"Ugh! Let me try!" Arlene began in frustration, which made most of the group flinch in horror as Ven and his best friends knew, given the blonde-haired girl's history of bad singing, especially at Camp Everwoord(back in "Life FAR from Normal"), the shivered in fear before she cleared her throat and began to sing...very terribly.

"~Rock-a-bye Baby on a Tree Top~" Arlene sang, which was so awful, ear-pierching and loud and even worse than ever, everyone including Yozora, Sonic, Tails and Amy all groaned and cried out in agony while quickly covering their ears to try and block out the horrible noise.

"STOP! MAKE HER STOP!" Iago wailed in agony.

"I can't take it anymore!" Mushu screamed.

Genie cringed so horribly that he magically and literally pulled his ears off like the toy Mr. Potato head and all sound was muted for him, making him sigh in relief.

"That's not a lullaby! That's a bagpipe being chipped and put out of it's misery by a woodchipper!" Myde exclaimed.

"Oh my gosh! It's actually workin'!" Mickey exclaimed, pointing up ahead.

True to the teenage mouse's words, they saw that the Granifer Gigaticus's eyes began to droop closed as it yawned at Arlene's 'lovely' song(though there isn't anything lovely about that, let me tell you), and it finally laid down in the middle of the path within the canyon. Once Arlene stopped singing and everyone hurried up onto a nearby rock cliff, they saw the giant rock monster snoozing away, but unfortunately it was blocking the path of quite a number of delivery carts and trucks who had to stop in panic and all stood gazing in shock while wondering what was going on.

"Aw man!" Myde groaned in dismay. "That's the delivery route for all of the deli products that come into the Destiny Town's village. If that guy sleeps for another hundreds of years there, how can this town get anymore of the potato salads?"

"Zip it, Myde!" Arlene ordered darkly, scaring him again as the mullet-haired teen whimpered.

"You know what? Giant rock monsters are a pain in the butt." Lea remarked with a sigh.

"Especially since they have a horrible taste in music." Iago shook his head in agreement.

"Yeah, I got a feeling we're gonna have to go up a notch or two." Sonic scratched the top of his head.

Knowing what to do even though Yozora had a bit of a bad history with Arlene's alternate-self, the spiky-haired teen pulled her onto Reddy and ordered her. "Arlene, keep singing! Or...whatever it is you're doing."

As Reddy carried the two over the Granifer Gigaticus, Arlene began to sing again which then quickly lured the giant rock monster from it's comfortable position and followed since it loved the teenage girl's singing while Ven and everyone else, even Genie who reluctantly placed his ears back onto his head earlier, followed.

"Worst parade ever!" Amy, Donald and Selphie all complained.

"But at least we're getting somewhere!" Ven pointed out.

Eventually Yozora and Arlene led the giant rock monster to another cliff after clearing the way of the deli route before it moaned and leaned against it's wall. The two teengers had the red magic carpet stop while the blonde-haired young woman stopped singing and they climbed off and everyone else caught up, though Sonic caught up first due to his speed.

"It's working!" Yozora smiled in relief.

"Way to go, Arlene. You may be a bad singer, but our buddy here sure loves it." Sonic congratulated, and ignored the dirty look Arlene gave him despite that she felt very pleased with herself, holding a smug grin seconds later. The blue hedgehog then whispered to the nearly slumbering rock monster. "Sleep, my large, rocky friend, and dream of larger, gravely girl monsters."

Unfortunately the victory didn't last long, because at that moment the group heard a familiar annoying evil laughter fill the air and looked up to see Eggman appear in his Egg Mobile with Decoe and Bocoe, the mad doctor grinning. "I'm baaaack!"

"Not Eggman again!" Sonic, Yozora, Ven, Lea, Tails, Amy, Mickey, Donald and Isa complained.

"It's Robotnik! Stand back because this boulder brute is mine now!" Eggman growled at the young group below.

"Seriously? You and what army?" Mushu challenged.

The evil scientist ignored the miniature dragon and ordered aloud. "Release the Beebots!"

Decoe then emerged from within the seat while wearing a hat and a scarf. "After you've returned your seat and tray table to the upright position."

Eggman glared at him in sheer annoyance which prompted the yellow robot to push a button on the Mobile's screen and a large horde of large robot bees flew over and to the group's shock, surrounded the Granifer Gigaticus in a ball-shaped net made from red energy. The evil scientist chuckled in glee, but it was short-lived as the giant rock monster, with it's sleep once again disrupted and being captured, roared before it snarled and broke free with ease, irritated.

"You big stone brute! That was a very expensive honeycomb cage! If you and I are going to subjugate the world for a thousand generations, I need to see a better attitude from you." Eggman growled, frustrated by what just happened.

"Give me a break! What makes you think the Granifer Gigaticus will listen to you?" Ven shouted angrily as he and his friends stood ready to defend the rock giant.

"With a better equipment and you brats to stay out of my way!" Eggman glared down at the group.

"Give it up, Egghead!" Sonic snarled angrily. "We're not letting you capture Rocky."

"Hey, bee-bots! Over here!" Yozora, having an idea, taunted as he leaped onto Reddy and to the group's surprise, the robots started following me.

"Not without me!" The blue hedgehog smirked as he ran in his super speed to help his new friend, the two of them along with Genie who magically turned into a giant bee and flew up towards Eggman's Mobile.

"Buzz, Buzz! Great new hive, right here!" The magical being called out just as Sonic and Yozora had the Beebots come after them. The two teenagers, with Sonic running up the tall rock peak, leaped and flew over the Mobile with Genie following them, seemingly missing the evil scientist. Unfortunately for Eggman, the Beebots can't stop in time and he, Decoe and Bocoe panic before the robot horde crashes into the Mobile and sent them flying.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Eggman, Decoe, and Bocoe screamed as they were sent all the way back to their base.

"Looks like Team Eggman's blasting off again." Goofy commented as he pointed at the disappearing trio while gazing at the readers/viewers, then chuckled.

Sonic in the meantime neatly landed onto Reddy next to Yozora who chuckled, and the two shared a high-five before they and Genie flew back to their friends, the blue hedgehog smirking while remarking about the ride. "Now this is first class!"

Everyone smiled once the trio landed back onto the ground.

"Well, now that Dr. Egg-brain is gone, let's get back to getting this big boy to sleep." Timon announced.

"Alright, Arlene. You can start singing again." Aqua said, before she and everyone else quickly covered their ears while bracing themselves for the horrible singing by the blond-haired teenage young woman.

But it was all silent which confused the group. To their alarm, Arlene wasn't there.

"Arlene? Arlene?" Pumbaa looked around, puzzled.

"Hey, where'd she go?" Mickey asked, shocked.

Another alarming thing was that the Granifer Gigaticus was missing as well. There that was there on the other side of the canyon was an oddly shaped giant rock pile, but no sign of the rock monster or the female Radiant Academy Student.

"The monster took Arlene!" Tails exclaimed in realization.

"Well, that's good, because she was a lousy student anyway." Timon sighed in relief.

"Yes! No more Arlene!" Iago celebrated, only for him and the meerkat to earn dirty glares from the rest of the group.

"What?" Timon asked, cluelessly.

"Uh, I mean, how tragic." The red parrot quickly faked a look of sorrow and loss since he really didn't want to go through the dangers just to find one of the meanest girls of Radiant City.

"We're not leaving without Arlene!" Ven declared, determined to rescue Arlene.

"Then let's go get her." Sonic said, with all of his friends agreeing even though Timon and Iago weren't looking forward to it but they had no choice.

But as the group raced away to rescue the young woman, little did they know that the rock pile glowed and took shape, revealing to have been the Granifer Gigaticus who stood up and began to walk towards the much taller rock peak, with the struggling Arlene clasped in it's left hand.

"You're so going to regret this, you stupid rock! Put me down now!" The blonde-haired teenager snarled angrily, unable to believe that the others had left her behind and had been tricked by the giant rock monster's clever camouflage ability.

The rock monster didn't listen as it began climbing up the peak before settling itself right on top of it and held it's own 'song-bird' in both hands while looking at her hopefully.

"Ugh...I should've just stayed behind when those idiots went to try and put you back to sleep." Arlene groaned, shaking her head. "Why do I have to be the damsel in distress? It's so not me."

Back in town, Ven and his friends had split up to try and find Arlene and the giant rock monster. Unfortunately as they all came back to the holiday suite as their temporary meeting place, there was no sign of her, and it was all for naught, nothing, bupkus, zilch, nil, and zippo. In other words, they haven't found her.

"We've looked everywhere and there's no sign of her." Yozora muttered worriedly.

"Never thought Arlene would be the one to get kidnapped." Lea muttered, then gulped nervously. "Though she isn't the nicest girl around, but if her mom and 'Lena find out about this, we're toast...!"

Unexpectedly, Genie turned into a toaster and cooked up two freshly cooked pieces of toast while asking. "Did somebody say toast?"

"Genie, shut up. This isn't the time for jokes or Red Dwarf references." Isa groaned in irritation.

"Aw, we can't give up. We just need to figure out where that giant monster took her." Mickey paced back and forth.

Myde then thought of something horrible(and also ridiculous) and asked fearfully. "Hey, remember the ducks he yawned out earlier? What if...what if Granifer Gigaticus eat people after hearing their horrible singing and hundreds of years later, they are turned into ducks and get set free by the rock monster's yawning?"

While most of the group blinked him dumbstruck, Mickey flinched in fear before he began to sweat nervously and gulped at the very thought, his fear of being eaten by giants still lingered and even began to feel faint. Even Timon and Pumbaa looked terrified.

"You don't think it's gonna eat us too, do ya?" The meetkat quivered.

"If the big guy wanted to eat us or Arlene, he would've done so by now." Sonic pointed out with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh." Pumbaa muttered while Timon, Myde and especially Mickey all sighed in relief, wiping their foreheads.

"Genie, can you find her?" Ven asked hopefully.

"If we can't find the meanest girl of Radiant Academy on the ground or in the air, then there's only one thing left to do!" Genie saluted, and magically created some sort of large radio-like machine and as luck would have it, it began to ring an alarm. "Presenting the Genie-Disasterometer!"

"Whoa, this is really cool and clever! I'll bet it detects and stores the sound signatures of typhoons, earthquakes, and other disasters." Tails remarked in awe, his eyes lighting up which made Sonic and Amy both giggle affectionately over the young fox's excitement.

Genie stared at the eight year old cub before slumping low. "You had to spoil it out, spoiler-sport."

"Sorry. It was just so easy to figure out, I couldn't help making the correct guess." The two-tailed fox apologetically rubbed the back of his head.

"It kind of looks like a snowcone machine to me." Myde remarked, placing his fingers under his chin.

As Genie fiddled with the controls to get a signal, it quickly detected a very familiar and ear-killing sound which made everyone quickly cover their ears in agony as they all groaned and cried out loudly.

"That's horrible!" Yozora exclaimed.

"What could be causing it?" Sonic screamed out, feeling like his head was about to explode.

Back with Arlene, who was unaware that her, erm...caterwauling was part of the new Genie-Distasterometer, she was struggling to keep on singing for the Granifer Giganticus who roared right at her face the moment she stopped.

"*Cough, Cough* I can't keep singing forever. I'm getting a sore throat here!" Arlene snapped, her voice starting to feel dry and sound all raspy.

"Hey, that's Arlene!" Selphie cried out in realization.

"Okay, now we know that her singing voice is added to the natural disaster list." Iago grumbled, wishing for a pair of earmuffs.

"Yeah, you got that right, bird-brain." Mushu muttered in agreement.

"So the rock monster still has her." Terra frowned deeply in concern,

Sonic frowned as well, then asked Genie. "Can that tell us where she is?"

Before the magical being could answer, Tails took a closer look at the Genie-Disasterometer and then said. "If I can triangulate her location, we get a topographic visual representation."

The young fox then turned on the knob and to Genie's astonishment, it pulled printed out a map. Everyone stared at Tails in surprise while Genie's jaw literally dropped to the ground, dumbstruck at the eight year old having done so without even trying.

"And you said it looked like a snowcone machine." Timon sarcastically said to Myde who blinked in silence.

As the group looked at the map, some of them frowned as Lea remarked, "Damn, that peak is a mile high."

"Well, we do have Reddy and Genie to help us get up there." Mickey pointed out optimistically.

"Great! Let's go save Arlene!" Sonic declared.

"Why am I suddenly getting a bad feeling this isn't going to be easy?" Amy muttered to herself, suddenly feeling like there will be more trouble coming their way.

Short time later, the group were flying back to the canyon with Ven, Yozora, and Sonic on Reddy, while everyone else were on the newly large light-blue plane with Genie and Tails flying. Though the top was a bit like a roofless double-decker bus, and Iago, Myde, Donald, Timon and Amy all looked queasy.

"I had to open my yap..." The pink hedgehog girl moaned.

"Does this thing come equipped with barf bags!?" Myde moaned, feeling sick and looking a bit green in the face.

"Look! There's Arlene!" Goofy pointed up ahead where Arlene was still singing to the giant rock monster

"Reddy, full speed speed ahead!" Ven ordered, as the magic carpet and Genie's plane flew straight towards the rock peak, where both Lea and Isa carefully reached over and successfully yanked Arlene from the Granifer Giganticus' grasp and everyone quickly flew away.

"Concerts over, Rocky!" Lea called down to the giant rock monster as he and his best friend pulled the teenage girl onto the plane. "You can buy a T-shirt in the Lobby!"

"It's about time you all showed up! Seriously, you need to get your eyes checked!" Arlene snapped in irritation.

"You're welcome." Isa muttered sarcastically.

"Sorry." Pumbaa apologized sincerely.

The giant rock monster roared, angry and upset that it's favorite singer was taken away. It's roar was so loud and powerful this time that it blew everybody further away where they all screamed and held on for dear life. Sonic almost fell off with a yelp before Ven and Teenage-Sora quickly grabbed him by the wrists and pulled the blue hedgehog back up to safety.

"Thanks, guys!" The cobalt speedster smiled in relief.

"Whew! New fun fact. The Granifer Giganticus' breath smells like dead jellyfish!" Genie winced, pinching his nose with one hand to block out the stench.

"It's definitely not helping my stomach." Amy groaned, as the Granifer Giganticus slid down from the peak and began chasing after the group while they flew away.

"Now what do we do?" Donald asked, gesturing at the problem they were facing even further.

"We need to come up with a-" Ven was cut off when they heard loud squawking from the distance behind them which began to get closer and louder.

"What's going on?" Yozora wondered.

"Sure is pretty noisy up here." Sonic commented. "That doesn't sound like seagulls."

When Pumbaa looked behind them, his eyes widened as he screamed out. "Uh, I wouldn't say it was seagulls, but more like a flock of giant mutant crows coming this way with the lead one wearing a crown!"

"Say what?" Sonic asked, bewildered as he and the others looked over their shoulders and true to the warthog's words, it was indeed said flock which the only ones unfamiliar with them other than Pumbaa and Timon, were Yozora, Sonic, Tails and Amy. Everyone else began to freak out. Though Genie couldn't get that as he was focusing on the flight.

"CARPIES ATTACK!" Mushu screamed out in horror.

"WHAT!?" Both Yozora and Sonic screamed out in terror, sharing a glance with wide-eyes, while both Tails and Amy gasped and cried out in fear.

"Uh, sorry, I can't hear you in this altitude! What's the report?" Genie hollared over the noise.

"Giant birds," Iago began in fear as he pointed behind them in the air, then pointed at the rock monster still chasing them. "Rock monster!"

When the magical being finally noticed the Carpies gaining at them, his eyes comically bugged out in horror as he also recognized the flock even though he'd only seen them in pictures the last time.

"Oh, come on! We're having enough problems as it is!" Lea shouted in irritation and panic.

"Haven't seen them in a while." Isa dryly remarked while trying not to panic.

"Why are they here now?" Tails asked fearfully.

"They must've somehow figured out what we're doin', and that Selphie is with us, so they're still after her for her beautiful singing voice!" Mickey realized.

"Great, she gets to be followed by a King of Bird-Freaks and I'm being chased by a stupid mutant rock with sleeping problems...!" Arlene hissed in sheer annoyance.

"They all have sleeping problems." Donald pointed out.

"There they are! Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Get me my Song-Bird and get rid of those meddling brats and their petting zoo!" The Carpie King laughed evilly and commanded.

"They're coming after Selphie!" Ven exclaimed as he, Sonic and Yozora narrowed their eyes.

"Not if I can help it!" Sonic declared.

"We need to distract them and keep them away from Selphie and the others!" Yozora exclaimed.

"Right!" Ven nodded, before calling over to their magical friend. "Genie, you and the others keep having the rock monster with you and keep Selphie and Arlene from from it and the Carpies! We're going to lure them away!"

"Right away, Ven!" Genie saluted, speeding off with his passengers holding on for dear life with the Granifer Giganticus still following them to reclaim Arlene once more.

"Don't let them get away!" The Carpie King ordered and some of the Carpies began to fly after Genie's group to recapture Selphie.

But Ven, Yozora, and Sonic flew on Reddy to block them, the blue hedgehog leaping off and hitting several with his Homing Attack, causing some of the birds to fall to the ground unconscious and dazed. He then jumped and leaped from one Carpie's head to another with a confident smirk. Yozora in the meantime jumped and landed onto another Carpie's back, making two more fly towards him.

"Back off!" The Alternate-Sora grunted, leaping off just in time for the three birds to crash into each other and fall.

"Over here, you vulture-breath!" Ven taunted the King as he and Reddy swooped in just as the teenage boy snatched the Carpie's Crown and flew off with it in hand, as Sonic and Yozora successfully landed back onto the magic carpet.

"Give back my crown, you little worms!" The now furious Carpie King roared, flying straight after them, while ordering his followers. "Get them!"

"Come and get us, bird-brains!" Sonic taunted with a smirk.

However, some of the Carpies did manage to sneak away to follow Genie's group which the three teenagers noticed and gasped in horror and glared at the Carpie King who laughed manically as he and the rest of his flock chased after them.

"Neither of you will escape me! Once I get back my crown and my Song-Bird, all of you will be finished!" The evil Carpie declared.

"Selphie's not your Song-Bird! Nobody is! She's our friend!" Ven snapped angrily.

"You have no right to kidnap anybody just because you like to hear them sing!" Yozora added.

"I don't know much about you dumb feather-heads, but Selphie isn't a music box!" Sonic continued.

"She is the one to put us to sleep, thus she is mine and will always belong to me!" The Carpie King bellowed as some of the Carpies flew faster to try and catch the group, but Reddy flew up and down while Ven, Sonic and Yozora quickly punched and whacked at the flock that got too close.

In the meantime the Carpies that went after the others began to fly around to try and snatch Selphie who screamed along with the other girls who tried to make them go away while the boys tried their best to protect her and the others, and both Genie and Tails tried to make the plane go faster.

"Oh man! This plane's too slow, we can't out-run them!" Tails exclaimed, panicking.

"Do something!" Iago shrieked as he ducked under his seat, panicking.

"Make them go away!" Minnie screamed in fear as she was held close by Mickey who was trying his best to keep her safe.

"Hey, back off, you mutant chickens! You guys are worse than the Chocobos my cousin hates so much!" Lea shouted as he, Isa and Terra punched a couple of Carpies, Goofy and Donald trying to whack them as did Amy who, surprisingly enough, bringing out her Hammer and whacked some of the Carpies away.

"Why can't you stupid birds just leave us alone!?" Amy shouted angrily.

"Get outta here, you buzzards! Get out! Get outta here! Go on, shoo! Shoo!" Timon shouted as he tried to wave the Carpies off.

Down below, the Granifer Giganticus, seeing Carpies decide to get it out of the way by flying around it likes annoying flies, roared before whacking and bashing them which quickly made the flock regret this and fly up to try and ignore it while focusing on their targets, but this only made it even angrier as it believed they were here to take Arlene away and chased after them as well.

"Let her go, or you'll be sorry!" Sonic grunted angrily.

"NEVER!" The Carpie King shouted and again he and the remaining flock attempted to catch the heroes even though the three teenage boys and their friends tried not to fall out of the sky while trying to figure out how to get out of this mess.

"Okay, that's it! No more Mr. Nice Dragon!" Mushu declared, standing as he, despite being a small dragon, blew a fairly large ball of fire at one of the Carpies, literally burning off all of it's feathers and making it naked. It covered it's body and sheer embarrassment before falling to the ground while the other two Carpies who saw this stared at the dragon in horror.

"Yeah, if you wanna avoid that, you'd better make a RUN FOR IT!" The red dragon snarled.

"AAAH!" The two Carpies screamed girlishly and flew away in terror, not wanting to suffer the same fate.

"Now that's what I call Mongolian barbeque." Mushu grinned smugly, puffing out smoke while the others snickered or giggled in amusement.

Eventually even as Selphie, having had enough of being chased by the birds that clearly wanted her back, poked one Carpie's eye which caused the bird to squawk in pain before she surprisingly pulled out Nun-chucks and whacked it and another in the faces which caused them to fall like their comrades, making the others stare at her in shock while she giggled with a wink, it was only just the King left but he decided to get rid of Ven's group first.

"Man, this guy just won't quit!" Yozora complained as he, Ven and Sonic glared at their remaining opponent.

"And I thought Eggman was stubborn!" Sonic remarked, before an idea formed in his mind as he had infiltrated the evil scientist's base once and he knew the location.

"There's gotta be a way to stop the Carpie King and get the Granifer Giganticus back to sleep without him kidnapping Arlene again!" Mickey exclaimed.

"Any ideas?" Yozora asked impatiently.

"No worries, guys. I got a plan." The blue hedgehog reassured. "Hey, Ven! Have Reddy follow my lead and Genie and Tails will follow!"

"Okay! Reddy, lets go!" Ven nodded and instructed the magic carpet who, following Sonic's orders on where to go, flew with Genie's group following and both the Granifer Giganticus and the Carpie King giving chase, determined to catch both Arlene and Selphie.

Meanwhile, after the humiliating defeat by Ven, Sonic and their friends and also regretting in having dealt with trying to capture the giant rock monster, Eggman was wallowing in his loss by polishing his human-sized statue of himself in his metal yard with Decoe, Bocoe and Bokkun watching him.

"One of these days, I'll get that hedgehog, and his friends, both old and new, especially those Radiant Academy pests!" Eggman ranted as he polished his precious monument repeatedly.

"Dr. Robotnik, you've been polishing that statue of yours at least fifteen minutes now, and counting. It can't get any shinier than that." Decoe pointed out, only for him, Bocoe and Bokkun to flinch in fright when their creator spun around and leered at them dangerously.

"Stop flopping your hinges! Since you two botched the capture of the rock monster, I need the peace and quiet of my meditation field to calm my nerves." The evil scientist growled.

"On the bright side, at least it's really shiny. The only thing missing is a crown." Bokkun said optimistically.

All of the sudden Ven, Yozora, and Sonic flew past them on Reddy while the blonde-spiky-haired teen tossed the Carpie King's crown away...which ironically landed on top of the Robotnik statue's head which somehow looked a bit too big but at the same time looked perfect for Eggman himself, surprising the evil scientist and two of the robots.

"Like that!" The smallest robot said, pointing at the said crown.

"What in the...?" Eggman muttered, dumbstruck as he plucked the crown off of his statue's head, gazing at it in his hands. "Where did this come from?"

The answer he got hit him full on: Literally.

The Carpie King yelled out before he ended up crashing right into Eggman who screamed in fright and pain and the two ended up piled on top of one another with the crown dropped onto the ground. The two of them groaned.

"Get off of me, you over-grown raven!" The evil scientist demanded.

"You get off, you over-sized buffoon!" The Carpie King snapped.

"How dare you!? I am not fat! I am Dr. Ivo Robotnik!" Eggman growled before he and the Carpie glared at each other with sparks flying.

As the two were having a glaring contest, unfortunately Eggman's day just got worse, because the Granifer Giganticus came stomping after somehow swimming across to follow Ven's group and stomped right onto the Robotnik statue, smashing into pieces while Decoe, Bocoe and Bokkun screamed before running away to hide inside the base, much to the evil scientist's shock as he saw the rock monster arrive on his not-so-secret island.

"Hey, do you mind!? Don't stop on my metal topiary!" Eggman shouted angrily, pushing the Carpie King off of him as the later, hissing angrily, picked up his crown and put it back onto his head.

The giant rock monster didn't listen and instead it began tossing the mad doctor's gazebo away after picking it up, then smashed it into pieces and pulled away metal to reveal dirt and rock underneath.

"Okay, I thought "Don't stomp on my metal topiary" also implied, "Don't drop a gazebo on it"" Eggman added with a sweat-drop, even as the Granifer Giganticus roared once more.

Ven and the rest of the group in the meantime had safely landed on the ground and disembarked before they saw what was going on and even Sonic began to feel sorry for his nemesis for the mess.

"I know that Eggman's our enemy, but we can't just stand here and watch his place get trashed." Ven muttered in worry.

"I trash Egghead's bases all the time whenever it's necessary, but this is an exception I'm willing to try and stop and fix up." Sonic admitted, feeling a bit guilty for leading both the giant rock monster and the Carpie King here.

"There's just gotta be a way to put the Granifer Giganticus to sleep." Mickey shrugged, trying to come up with one last idea.

"And get that over-grown crow out of our hair and my feathers." Iago reminded.

"Ven, good news!" Genie announced as he had magically shrank his Genie-Disasterometer and held it in his hands. "My Genie-Disasterometer has recorded Arlene's singing and I've put it on an never-ending, unlimited loop!"

"That is good news." Timon remarked sarcastically.

The magical being then pressed play on the Disasterometer which began playing Arlene's 'singing'. This did the trick as the Granifer Giganticus, happily hearing the 'lovely' sound of the teenage young woman's voice, yawned before laying itself down right on top of Eggman's false but soft grey topiary, much to the evil scientist's dismay and the group winced when they saw this.

"Oops." Sonic muttered, wincing.

"Gawrsh, sorry about your fake, metal flowers, Dr. Eggman." Goofy muttered apologetically.

"Ugh! What a terrible sound!" The Carpie King bellowed, covering his ears as he couldn't stand Arlene's horrid singing.

"That's one thing everybody except for the stupid rock can agree on." Iago shook his head, also covering his ears yet again.

"How long must I endure this!?" Eggman bellowed, annoyed by the horrible record of Arlene's singing.

"It takes Granifer Giganticus about a year to fall completely asleep." Aqua explained with a giggle.

"We can always turn it up." Daisy suggested with a smirk.

That made the evil scientist quickly say as he didn't want it any louder than it already was. "No, no; that won't be necessary."

"Well, now that we have this problem solved, what do we do with him?" Isa asked while pointing at the Carpie King who was about to approach Selphie who backed away and Ven, Yozora, Sonic, Tails, Amy, Lea, Terra, Aqua, Melody, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Mushu, Minnie and Daisy stood protectively in front of their friend.

"Give me the Song-Bird right now." The King commanded.

"Oh, give it a rest!" Yozora grumbled. "If you want to hear pretty singing and go to sleep so badly, why not just get yourself a radio of someone else singing or a CD player or something?"

That was when Selphie realized something and smiled brightly. "Wait a minute. I have an idea. I know how to get the Carpie's to hear my singing forever and at the same time I won't have to stay in their mountain for the rest of my life."

"Huh?" Everyone else including the villains gazed at the young teenage girl in surprise who then explained her plan.

Which, all things considered, should've been done ages ago.

An hour later back in Destiny Town at the little bar where the group was having ice cream of different flavors: Ven, Yozora, Lea, Isa, Aqua and Terra were having sea-salt, Selphie, Melody, Minnie and Amy were having strawberry and vanilla, Myde and Tails was having chocolate mint, Sonic, Mickey, Donald and Goofy were having chocolate and vanilla, Daisy, Genie, Iago, and Mushu were both having banana and peach, and Timon and Pumbaa...ugh, they had vanilla ice cream with bug-juice dribbled on top.

As for Arlene, she was walking by having gotten her own Ice Cream and decided to head back to her vacation house with her mother, after taking a long, hot shower.

"You know, all things considered, I think we've been acquainted with all of the crazy stuff that's happened to us in the last couple of years." Ven remarked with a smile.

"You got that right." Lea chuckled.

"I can't believe we haven't even thought of the idea on how to keep the Carpies out of our lives since the first time." Terra shook his head, still in disbelief.

"I still can't believe you guys even fought those guys and I've never even heard of them before." Sonic remarked, taking another lick out of his ice cream in satisfaction.

"So, how did you guys end up meeting them?" Yozora asked, curiously as both Tails and Amy were also curious.

The rest of the group except for Timon and Pumbaa who were happily enjoying their ice cream, shared a glance before chuckling and turned back to their newest friends, even though Isa did look a bit embarrassed.

"Well, it all started when it was after Melody enrolled to Radiant Academy." Mickey began. "We were helping Mr. Highwind to finish building his latest airship."

"And Isa fell asleep during it before waking up look-Mmph!" Myde was cut off when Isa and Lea both covered his mouth with their free hands.

"Let's just say that we took turns and Selphie was singing a new song she just wrote, none of us being aware that a couple of those stupid birds were spying on us." Lea continued.

"I'm just glad I don't have to worry about them anymore. Now they can listen to my singing and I won't be exhausted or forced to keep singing." Selphie smiled happily.

"Your idea in using another recorder to do the same for the Carpies like with the Granifer Giganticus really was a great idea, Selphie." Tails said happily.

"Yeah, but at least THEY have much better taste in music than that stupid giant rock with Arlene's singing." Iago shrugged with one wing in annoyance.

"Oh well. All's well that ends well, right?" Sonic smiled, and everyone nodded in agreement while laughing.

True to everybody's words, back up in the Carpie Mountain, Selphie's singing was heard through out the cave, the song she wrote a year ago, was on repeat and within the throne room, it's revealed that another unlimited voice recorder with her singing was playing on a loop over and over again, and the Carpie King, while a bit annoyed to not have the actual girl herself, did admit that this was a much better idea and much more convenient than kidnapping girls with beautiful voices, and all of his followers, were all fast asleep while enjoying the lovely music.

Which was coming from the voice recorder that was locked up within the cage and thus has ended the Carpie's terror of repeatedly capturing innocent girls to be claimed as Song-Birds.

It's too bad Eggman wasn't feeling the same happiness as he was still stuck with Arlene's terrible voice recording while the Granifer Giganticus was snoozing away which would take a year before it was fully asleep once again. The evil scientist sighed as he, Decoe, Bocoe and Bokkun stood around the giant rock monster they were stuck with and being completely useless to the man's plans.

"Ah well, maybe I can make a fountain out of his nose, a coy pond in his belly button." Eggman mused, before shaking his head with a shrug.

"I wish there was a way to move this monster someplace else with the recorder." Decoe complained.

"Me too. All of that horrible singing is making me want to move out." Bocoe added.

"How much longer is this going to take?" Bokkun whined.

That, unfortunately, Eggman had no idea.

While he was stuck in another bad luck situation, Ven, Yozora, Sonic and their friends had once again saved the day and finally solved the problem of the Carpie's obsessions for beautiful girls' singing.

Yet there were going to be more unexpected adventures waiting for our heroes in the near future.

To be Continued...

A/N: Sorry that it took so long. I've been stuck with writer's block on how this series would continue, but finally it's finally updated and hopefully I'll be updating this again sooner than six months with a two-parter episode I've been wanting to write for ages finally on the horizon, beginning with the next episode!

See you next time!
