Life WON'T be Normal.
Disclaimer: Life WON'T be Normal is a story set in an alternate universe of Kingdom Hearts, set immediately after the third season of the previous story Life NEVER was Normal, after the second season Life DEFINATELY not Normal, after the first season Life FAR from Normal and after the Epilogue of, "The Betrayal of Light", also featuring many characters from Disney and Final Fantasy that haven't made it to Kingdom Hearts games or Manga yet.
Author's Note: Finally! After for a long time coming, the two-parter episode I've been wanting to write for ages is finally here! Get ready for a big screen adventure! Literally!

EP 13: Movie-Interdimensional Crisis-Part 1.
Two weeks passed since the giant rock-Erm, I mean, the Granifer Giganticus crisis in Destiny Town and the finally solving the Carpie issue since a year ago. Not that the latter was much of a problem until they decided to try again, but thanks to Selphie's idea, not only she was safe and free to remain with her friends, but the Carpie's can enjoy her singing with the CD player at the same time. All in all, things were somewhat back to normal...
Somewhat.
While the students of Radiant Academy carried out their lives as usual with their studies and, for our heroes Ven and his friends, including the non-students, were still trying to locate the Chaos Emeralds which they hope that would help them to figure out how to return Yozora back to his dimension. But as movie-night drew nearer, the group decided to head out to the Outdoor Theatre Park to catch a movie they had been meaning to see for months.
As of this moment, Ven, Yozora, Sonic, Mickey, Tails, Aqua, Terra, Donald, Goofy, Amy, Melody, Lea, Isa, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto, Genie, Mushu and Iago(who complained as usual) were setting up a picnic on a hill that viewed the enormous screen down below where a lot of other people were set up to see this particular movie, blankets laid out on the ground, having already gotten their tickets, and were just finishing up in buying snacks like popcorn and shakes while having brought their own from the school.
"A night-time picnic to watch a monster movie with other people crowded around. We could've done this back at the Academy, but would people listen to me? NO! I'm stuck watching this while the school closes for the night and everybody goes out doing something! Even the Headmasters!" Iago complained, which again was annoying Mushu as well as Pluto who both glared at the red parrot. "People these days have a poor taste in entertainment!"
This only made the others who heard this all groan before Goofy suggested. "You could've gone with Reynn, Lann and the kids to see the new Ice Age 5 movie."
"No way! If there's one thing I can't tolerate in kids' movies, it's a movie about animals going through adventures in a freezing cold 30,000 year old environment where later on things don't make sense! Like the dinosaurs living underground during those icy times, or pirates being led by a giant, claw-diggin', stinkin' monkey who thinks who owns the oceans!" Iago shook his head, before groaning as he looked to his left. "Then again, it's better than being with that guy watching a fish movie with a frog on his head."
To prove the point in the short distance, a big anthropomorphic purple cat with big ears, white whiskers and chest, wearing brown gloves and boots, holding a fishing pole while fishing in a small pond with a frog on top of his head, and watching a sailors movie at the same time, the frog croaking once, was seated in that direction.
"A fisherman's life, I guess." Lea shrugged sarcastically.
Just then, Sonic sped over carrying even more Popcorn and snacks while greeting, and carefully setting the food on one of the blankets. "Hi, guys. Got the rest of the snacks."
"At this rate, I think we have enough of this stuff to feed a small Army." Yozora chuckled at he gazed at all of the popcorn, ice cream bars, and soda drinks, while Isa and Terra were setting up the radio speakers to set around them and everyone else.
"Ah, who needs a small army to save the day, when we have the Radiant Academy students and the famous trio hero Team Sonic?" Genie declared, magically setting up spot-lights on the group with confetti raining down and celebrating horns going off.
"Genie!" Ven scolded, quickly snatching away a horn that his magical friend brought up, chuckling a little. "Not around here."
"Oh, right. Sorry." The magical being grinned sheepishly before returning to normal, while everyone else he was close to shook their heads, and Sonic, Tails and Amy shared confused glances before the blue hedgehog just shrugged.
"Okay, fellas. The movie's about to start." Mickey called up, sitting beside Minnie. Though secretly, the male teenage mouse was a bit wary about this movie, but since his friends had wanted to see this for ages, he indulged them by joining in.
"Sonic, are you sure it's okay for Tails to see this movie? It's not really meant for young children." Aqua questioned as she and everyone else took their seats on the ground.
"It'll be fine. Tails and I do this almost all the time, and we've faced tons of giant robots that are just as ugly as Eggman is. Right pal?" Sonic reassured confidently with a smirk.
"Yeah." Tails nodded. "Even though these kind of movies aren't that great to me, I still like some of them and there are a few things that really scare me the most, besides losing my best friends."
"Really? Like what?" Ven asked, a bit curiously.
That only made the two-tailed fox shift a little uncomfortably, but relaxed when Sonic placed an arm around his shoulders to give him comfort while Amy sat by the blue hedgehog's left. The eight year old then admitted, blushing a little. "Storms. I hate thunder and lightning. They always scare me a whole lot."
Rather than laugh at him as Tails had half-expected, everyone else, even Iago surprisingly, looked at him sympathically.
"Aw, it's okay, Tails. There are a whole lot of people who don't like storms." Minnie said reassuringly.
"Who would? I remember one time when me, the big blue lout and the monkey tried to make this Moody-Weather Kid-King happpy by playing hamonicas, only for that brat to get so mad the lightning zapped us!" Iago shuddered, while Genie, in annoyance, just flicked him aside which made the parrot to yelp. "Omph!"
"Moody-Weather-Kid-King?" Ven, Yozora, Terra, Goofy, Donald, Sonic, Tails and Amy asked in confusion.
"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!" Donald rolled his eyes, exasperated over that story.
"Uh...that's a long story." Genie muttered uncomfortably, before saying to the two-tailed fox. "But don't you worry, little fox-buddy. There are tons of people who have that fear or other kinds of fear."
"Yeah, like Iago being afraid of spiders." Mushu added, smirking as Iago returned.
"And spiders are one of the worst things in the entire universe!" The red parrot shuddered as he felt his skin and feathers crawl. "Sticky spider webs, and horrible spiders. Bug-blood sucking, and all of those legs...! What's wrong with just two or four legs?"
"He really complains a whole lot, doesn't he?" Sonic deadpanned softly to Ven and the others, lying against a tree with his hands behind his head.
"Welcome to our world." Lea deadpanned right back, just before the group heard the sound of an elephant's trumpting, making the group to turn to the screen to find that the movie was finally starting.
It showed said animal in a lake, before the camera turned to a giant polka-dotted egg beginning to hatch. The group watched with suspense, before some of them jumped in a bit of fright as the egg hatched, revealing a giant Pterodactyl screeching, and the logo "Runaway Reptar" appears on the screen...right before a giant lizard-like green dinosaur beast with yellow eyes ripped through the logo as though it ripped throug the entire screen appeared, roaring.
"Whoa!" Yozora yelped, his eyes wide while Mickey jumped slightly.
"Now that's a movie entrance!" Sonic remarked with a smirk. "I love these kind of movies, especially where a terrifying beast turns out to be a hero at heart."
"Yeah, me too! Reptar is definitely the monster hero." Ven nodded in agreement, excited to finally see this film. "Like the other movies, Reptar VS the Mole-People."
"And Reptar VS the Aliens." Terra added.
"And Reptar VS the Giant Cock crouches!" Lea laughed. "Ah, this movie franchise is the biggest hit."
Iago rolled his eyes, shaking his head with a shrug. "What's so great about this stuff? That's just a giant green lizard that likes to smash buildings!"
"Shhhh! Quiet, it's really starting." Tails shushed.
Everyone remained silent as the movie continued, viewing the fictional version of Tokyo, Japan, where the giant pterodactyl flew in, smashing a building which was ripped off and collapsed onto the ground, causing destruction and chaos. In another tower, the flying monster was observed by three human characters, two wearing exploration assistant uniforms, and an old man wearing a lab coat and a red bowtie, being a scientist.
(On screen)
"Oh no! A terrible monster is attacking Japan! What do you think it could be, Professor?" A young woman exclaimed, turning to her mentor in worry.
"If I wasn't seeing it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it." The Professor responded, approaching a billboard with the picture of the same monster as he explained to his two assistants. "It appears that Dectar the Pterodactyl has hatched from the abominable egg in the Ocean and has flown to Tokyo, thus proceeding to destroy everything on sight."
"Oh great! First I lose my car keys, and now this!" The young woman facepalmed herself, before grabbing her companion who is a young man by the shirt and began shaking him, frantically saying. "We've got to do something!"
"Yeah!" The young man agreed.
But the Professor shook his head, saying grimly. "It's too late, my friends. I'm afraid Tokyo is...doomed."
The scene then changes to the city's citizens running and screaming for their lives as everything is being destroyed by Dectar.

Even though the group knew that this was all make-belief, most of them were on edge of their positions, with Ven, Yozora, Sonic, Lea, and even Terra gritting their teeth nervously as they were really into the movie. Aqua, Melody, Minnie, Amy and Daisy nervously huddled near the boys, Tails clinging onto Sonic's arm, softly whimpering, Mickey slightly quivering in fear, Goofy and Mushu both having a blanket on their heads nervously, both Donald and Genie biting their nails, and Pluto hiding behind Mickey, moaning. Iago rolled his eyes over the special effects and just flew up into a tree branch and yawned in boredom.
"Man, if I were in there, I woulda given that dumb old bird a piece of my mind..." Yozora muttered, clutching his fist as the rush of adrenaline began to slowly form even though this was only a movie.
"Yeah. I have a zero tolorance policy on bullies. If I were in there, that bird would be sent flying way further than it could right now." Sonic agreed.
"What does it matter? As far as this movie goes, Reptar's gonna show up and save the day. Like you guys always beat up the bad guys." Iago scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Real monsters are more terrifying than the boring stuff that's happening in the movies! I'm gonna change the channel, 'cause this is boring."
"But uh, you can't change the channel, Iago. This is the Outdoor theatre." Goofy pointed out, shrugging.
"Well then, I'm gonna...I'm gonna..." The red parrot tried to come up with another reason, before sighing in defeat and flew off to where the big Cat was, grumbling. "I'm gonna go watch the stupid kids Ice Age movie with the little brats. It's still better than the fish movie with the guy and his frog. Later."
"What a party pooper." Sonic commented.
"That's Iago for you." Genie grumbled in agreement.
(On screen)
In the middle of the city's destruction, a female reporter stood holding a microphone in one hand and a leash with her pet dog, greeting and reporting. "Hello, this is Reporter Pam from CTV News, and my dog Fritsy."
Fritsy the dog barked in greeting.
"A terrible monster has began to attack Tokyo and is at large. Don't you agree, Fritsy?" Pam continued, and her dog barked in agreement, as they looked around in growing concern. "Seems nothing can stop this creature from destroying us all. Who will save us?"
Suddenly there was a roar which made her gasp, before there was a huge quake for a split second.
"Could it be?..." Pam turned to her right, and her face lit up with hope and relief. "Yes, Fritsy, I believe it is!"
Out of the water at the docks of Tokyo port, Reptar, a giant green monster, emerged from the water and roared loudly, before he began to make his way towards the city, to save the city and defeat Dectar.
"Reptar!" The young report called out, cheering.
(Off screen)
"Yeah!" Ven, Sonic and Lea cheered excitedly.
"All right!" Tails celebrated.
"Yeah, you go stop that bird, Reptar!" Yozora encouraged, while Aqua and Melody giggled, Amy, Donald, Daisy and Minnie on the edge of their seats, Mickey and Goofy in relief, Terra and Isa shook their heads, and Pluto barked, while Genie and Mushu celebrated.
"All hail, Reptar, the Monster Hero!" Genie declared, waving a flag with Reptar's face on it.
However, as they watched on expecting Reptar to begin fighting, they were in for a shock when they saw the giant green monster not fighting Dectar at all. Instead, Reptar was causing destruction now himself alongside the flying monster.
"What!?" Yozora exclaimed as he and his friends couldn't believe what they were seeing.
"Uh, fellas? Somethin's wrong here." Mickey muttered worriedly.
"You think? That guy's helping the bad guy!" Lea exclaimed, gesturing at the movie.
(On screen)
Back at the tower, the Professor and his two assistants watched on and were horrified on what they were seeing.
"How can this be? Reptar has always been our friend!" The female assistant exclaimed, not wanting to believe any of this. "He saved us from the Mole People, the Aliens..."
"Don't forget the Giant Cockroaches." The Professor reminded.
"And now it's seems Reptar has turned to evil! Has the world gone mad? As the very frabic of peace been torn apart!?" The young woman exclaimed in dismay.
The male assistant glanced back and forth between his friends and the destruction before shrugging. "Yeah."
(Off screen)
"I don't get it. Reptar isn't supposed to be helping Dectar. He's a hero!" Ven shook his head, unable to come up with a solution to all of this.
"Maybe he's been possessed by a powerful force, or something else is causing him to attack against his will." Tails suggested scientifically.
Sonic frowned skeptically, while suggesting. "Maybe that's a fake and it's a robot build by some evil scientist that's a bit like Eggman."
"Or Hojo." Mushu gulped nervously, before realizing what the blue hedgehog meant and asked, skeptically. "Wait a minute. You're just suggesting that based on your experience with robots, aren't you?"
"What can I say? Whenever a bad guy builds robots, they build them for evil and destruction, not for helping other people out." The fifteen year old shrugged, a little sheepishly.
"Maybe Reptar got sick of saving humanity since they couldn't do much to fight other giant monsters and villains." Isa sarcastically remarked.
"I guess we'll have to wait and see what else happens in the movie." Aqua stated.
"Well, I hope the answer's gonna come up soon...'Cause I don't like where this is goin'." Mickey shivered, and yelped in fright when Reptar appeared at a roller-coaster ride, roaring loudly which caused the passengers to run away screaming as the two giant monsters destroyed the park. The teenage mouse gulped when he saw the 'former hero' roar, and for a split second memories of his childhood fears and nightmares, and the times when he and Ven were almost eaten by the evil giant Hades sent in a year ago came flooding back, plus the nightmares of the Shadow Blot attempting to do the same.
When the group saw a scene where the movie made a quick change into a helpless man's point of view being trapped in a car which Reptar, the giant monster was about to engulf it which made our heroes gasp in shock and horror at this horrific scene.
"Don't look, Tails!" Sonic screamed, quickly covering his best friend's eyes just after the two-tailed fox already did so himself.
"I don't wanna look anyway!" Tails cried out in fright.
"I can't look!" Amy wailed, as she, Minnie, Daisy, Melody and Aqua covered their eyes.
Mickey then screamed in horror before hiding behind Ven and whimpered, for a split second seeing an image in his mind as though he was the one trapped in the car and about to get eaten. Yet to everyone else's relief, the man managed to jump out of the car and landed on the roof of a tall building before racing inside to escape, while the car itself was then thrown away when Reptar lost interest and it smashed onto the road below. Ven, Yozora, Genie, Mushu, Goofy, the latter three also covering their eyes for a moment, Lea, Isa, Donald and Terra all sighed in relief, which made everyone else look up and did the same, but only briefly.
"Mickey, it's okay. Nobody got eaten." Minnie whispered soothingly to her boyfriend.
"Huh?" Mickey muttered, risking a peek before sighing in relief, wiping his forehead. "Phew...I really hate movies that involve giants or giant monsters that eat people."
"You're scared of giants in general, Mick'." Lea pointed out, rolling his eyes.
"Lea!" Melody, Aqua and Minnie scolded.
While Yozora had figured it out during his stay here in this dimension, he was still surprised to hear it being confirmed. Another difference between Mickey of this world and King Mickey in the Teenage-Sora's world.
'Guess that explains why he's been freaked out by Myde's stupid suggestion with Rocky the other day. Poor Mick's got giant-phobia or somethin'.' Sonic thought to himself with sympathy. While he himself knew that being eaten was one of the most horrible things to happen, especially when you're alive, he's fought giant robots for a long time and was always brave enough to do so. It was not being able to swim and drowning is what scared the blue hedgehog.
By then, Iago came back with a sour look on his face and perched himself between Genie and Donald, grumbling. "I take it back. The Ice Age 5 movie is worse than this. Dino-birds that can talk, and a wedding? Blegh!"
He then looked around and asked his friends. "So, what'd I miss?"
"Reptar came, but he isn't fighting Dectar. He's helping that dinosaur bird in smashing the city!" Donald exclaimed.
"Really?" The red parrot asked, before turning to the screen and then groaned while rolling his eyes. "Ugh, great. I knew it wouldn't take long before he grew tired of saving everybody else's lives while they never did a thing to defend themselves."
"That's what Isa just said in sarcasm." Lea rolled his eyes once again.
Little did Ven, Yozora, Sonic and their friends know was that flying in a robotic skull-shaped helicopter heading towards them and even more unknowingly to the heroes, Dr. Eggman along with Decoe, Bocoe and Bokkun who were also watching a movie but noticed their enemies and grinned while preparing to vaporize them with his Egg Mobile's laser to ruin their movie night, within the cockpit piloting it was none other than Hojo who grinned evilly.
"So, Ventus and those Radiant Academy brats are watching the new Runaway Reptar movie. This is an excellent time to destroy those fools...by trapping them all inside the movie!" The evil twisted scientist cackled with an ugly grin, fiddling with a few buttons as the helicopter's hatch opened up underneath, revealing a powerful cannon which was aimed at the movie screen with the target locked on.
As Hojo fiddled with a bit more, he turned his gaze to a cyan coloured gem, which was a Chaos Emerald locked in a glass case that was used as a power source for the cannon.
"With this precious legendary Chaos Emerald, I have the power to get rid of those brats and once they are trapped inside the movie, my next step will unleash the monsters into the real world and soon my experiments will make me the Emperor of it all! Ah ha ha ha ha ha!" Hojo laughed manically, but as it did, he accidentally pushed the on button which unfortunately set off the Chaos Emerald which began to glow brightly, the cannon beginning to turn on, but rather than it aiming directly at the movie screen, first it began to engulf him and creating a chain reaction.
Seeing this, Hojo flinched in horror and exclaimed. "Oh no! NO!"
Panicking, he tried to reset it, but it was too late as the button he pushed ended up being pushed in too hard and he realized that his plans were already set in ruins. Groaning, he broke the fourth-wall and glared at the viewers/readers.
"Note to self; never build in a suck in everything button." The evil scientist grumbled, while the cyan Chaos Emerald glowed brightly and began to spread.
On the ground, the group then noticed the unusual glow coming up behind them in the sky and looked curiously to see and found, to their shock, it was glowing brightly.
"What's this?" Yozora asked, before another glow shone from Sonic's quills where the later kept the Green Chaos Emerald for safe keeping. Shocked and confused, the blue hedgehog pulled it out and found that it was glowing brightly as well.
"What's going on with the Chaos Emerald!?" Sonic exclaimed in shock and disbelief.
"Do you think...there's another one close by?" Amy muttered in horrified realization.
"Huh? What do you-UGH!" Ven cried out when the Chaos Emerald glowed more brightly that he and his friends were forced to shield themselves as the light from both their Chaos Emerald as well as, unbeknownst to them, the other emerald, Hojo's machine and even the movie screen glowed brightly.
Soon the bright light engulfed the heroes and Hojo, and even Eggman, who seeing this and demanded, "What's going on?" only to scream along with his robots in fear, before they were all suddenly sucked right into the movie screen, and even unknowingly a couple of other people before the light faded and the screen returned to normal.
Yet Ven and his friends and the villains were all gone. Trapped within the movie of Runaway Reptar.
Within the Runaway Reptar Movie Dimension...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ven, Yozora, Sonic, Mickey, Tails, Minnie, Amy, Daisy, Terra, Aqua, Melody, Genie, Mushu, Iago, Lea, and Isa all screamed as they, Donald, Goofy and Pluto all fell through a light portal from the real world into the movie's version of Tokyo.
"WAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKK!" Donald screamed frantically.
"YAAAAA-HOO-HOO-HOOEEEE!" Goofy screamed his trade-mark hollar, while Pluto howled in fear.
"GENIE!" Ven screamed out, panicking.
Genie, reacting as quickly as possible, magically created a super large opened convertiable mini-bus like van without a roof with several buttons shaped like Reptar's head which appeared on the roar with inflatable seats and everyone landed inside with grunts, with Goofy upside down. As the group groaned while thankful for the soft-ish landing, the teenage dog awkwardly rightened himself up.
Ven, Yozora and Genie found themselves in the front with the magical being at the driver's wheel, while Sonic, Mickey, Pluto who was on the teenage mouse's lap, and Tails were behind them in the second row, the blue hedgehog still holding the green Chaos Emerald which dimed slightly, Aqua, Terra, and Amy in the third row, Minnie, Daisy and Melody in the fourth, Lea, Isa and Mushu in the fifth, and finally Goofy, Donald and Iago in the very back.
"Ayhuck, cushiony." Goofy remarked happily and in comfort, before relaxing.
"What a predicument...!" Donald grumbled, rubbing the top of his head.
"Oh, man...What could've caused that whacked out Chaos Control?" Sonic groaned, recovering as he rubbed his head as well.
"What's going on?" Ven muttered as he and the others began to control.
"Uh, guys...Where are we?" Yozora asked, noticing that they were in a completely different area.
When the rest of the group saw what he was talking about, they all gasped in shock and horror to see a city devastated. It looked familiar, like they've seen it just minutes ago, before a realization hit them hard.
"Uh...You guys are not thinkin' what I'm thinkin', are ya's?" Lea began, nervously, sweat dropping.
"You mean by the mysterious source of light combined with the Chaos Emerald we have, and the fact we have become trapped in the very movie of Runaway Reptar...!" Genie declared, quivering his lips and mouth with a horrified gasp, then nodded. "Yes, that's what we're all thinkin'."
Iago whined in fear. "This is a dream! A real terrible nightmare! This isn't happening at all! Somebody wake me up!"
"But how did this happen?" Mickey asked, terrified.
Sonic, just as horrified, remained calm and narrowed his eyes as he came up with his own theory. "My guess? Eggman's doing. He's the only guy crazy enough I know that would do this sort of stuff."
"You're right, Sonic. I'll bet Eggman built some sort of machine in his latest scheme to trap us here to try and steal the Chaos Emerald, and maybe because the Emerald caused a reaction, he managed to find another one and tried to use it while stealing the one we got. But it must've malfunctioned and didn't work so well." Tails explained in agreement.
"So then, how do we get back home?" Melody asked, worriedly.
"Actually, I think we should worry about finding a safer place and then head straight to the go home part, because we have a Dino-bird heading straight towards us!" Iago screamed hysterically as he pointed upward in fear with danger approaching.
"What dino-" Ven began, but cut himself off as he and everyone else quickly realized and saw what was about to attack them.
"DECTAR!" Everyone screamed in panic while Pluto yelped in terror, and true enough, a now more realistic Dectar was flying towards them with an evil look on his face flying and looming over them.
"Hang on, buckle up, keep your hands and legs inside the vehicle at all times!" Genie ordered, while powering up the vessel, and drove off quickly, before quickly adding while pointing at the single joy-stick with a red round handle. "And don't touch that twinklely thing."
"Just cut to the chase already, man!" Lea and Mushu screamed out in panic, as Dectar nearly pecked at them, but Genie managed to move it out of the way and kept on driving up the road through the streets of Tokyo, with the giant monster continuously pecking at them and destroying the road while everyone screamed and held on for dear life.
"Chase?" Sonic suddenly said, before smirking as an idea formed in his mind. He looked over his shoulder, and declared with excitement growing. "Sounds more like a race to me! I've got a plan!"
He then handed Tails the Chaos Emerald, while seeing a road bridge up ahead miles away, and ordered the group. "I'll lead that thing away! You guys head straight underneath that bridge and I'll meet up with you!"
"Sonic, what are you doing!?" Aqua exclaimed, gasping along with the other girls as Sonic leaped out of the vehicle and ran to the side.
"Sonic, no!" Terra shouted.
"Get your spiky butt back here, you crazy hedgehog!" Isa ordered.
"Wait, I think Sonic's on to something! Hold onto your butts!" Genie, realizing what Sonic had in mind, put the pedel to the metal, and drove towards the bridge.
Just as Dectar was about to attack again, he saw Sonic who waved and ran into it's line of vision. "Yo, lizard-head! Think you can keep up?"
The teenage blue hedgehog then ran with his incredible speed, shocking the flying dinosaur who hissed before giving chase at it's new prey, ignoring Ven and the others for the time being. It followed Sonic on the other side of the streets, continuously pecking at him but kept on missing and having a harder time in keeping up with the speedy hero.
"C'mon, slow poke! I've seen vultures fly faster than you!" Sonic taunted, sticking his tongue out while pulling the lower part of his eyelid, which insulted Dectar who had steam coming out of his tiny ears and nose-dived once more, only to miss and ended up getting his beak stuck in the concrete road, allowing the blue hedgehog to run off and escape.
Meanwhile, Ven's group were quickly concerned for Sonic's safety as Mickey cried out, panicking. "We've gotta save Sonic or else Dectar will get him!"
"It's okay! Sonic does this sort of stuff all the time! He'll be alright!" Tails tried to reassure, while muttering to himself worriedly for his big brother's welfare. "I hope..."
"DEAD END UP AHEAD!" Yozora screamed out as he pointed in front of them, and the group that a large chunk of building blocked their way through underneath the bridge.
"We're doomed!" Iago wailed as he, Goofy and Donald quickly ducked under their seats in fear.
"Not on my watch!" Ven declared, narrowing his eyes as he then stood up before leaping out of the car despite his friends' protests. He summoned his Emerald Sword and tossed it expertly towards the debris, where it sliced through the concrete and it shattered into pieces. He ran towards it and picked up before hacking away the rest of it to clear the road. "Okay, let's go!"
"We're coming, Ven!" Genie called up, pushing another button as a mechanical arm stretched out from the left side and grabbed the teenage boy before pulling him back into his seat. "Next stop, under the bridge!"
The group safely drove through underneath the bridge, which Sonic noticed the moment he came from the other side of the building and smirked, picking up his pace to follow his friends while Dectar, who had managed to awkwardly free himself, shrieked before giving chase to capture his prey once more. He opened up his mouth to engulf the blue hedgehog who gritted his teeth nervously with a sweat drop and narrowing his eyes when he realized just how close the evil flying monster was.
"Man, this bird's faster than I thought!" Sonic remarked, but saw he was almost there and smirked once again.
Just as Dectar was about to engulf him, the fifteen year old safely made it through minutes before the monster could, and while Sonic was successful, Dectar, while powerful in strength and flight, wasn't so bright in brains because he hit his head right into the edge of the bridge and hit the ground hard, slumped and too big to fit through, with a sad expression that said, 'Aw...I missed.'
"Whoops! Sorry!" The blue hedgehog teased, before he caught up with the group and neatly landed back into his seat while most of them cheered.
"Sonic!" Everyone except for Pluto who barked in relief, Mushu who sighed in relief, and Iago, Donald and Goofy who were still hiding in their seats, all exclaimed happily.
"Hey there, guys." Sonic greeted, landing in between Tails and Mickey, as Pluto then happily licked him on the face, causing the teenage blue hedgehog to laugh while getting tickled. "Whoa-whoa! Down, boy! Ha ha ha! Take it easy, will ya?"
Goofy, peeking nervously, sighed in relief while wiping his forehead. "Phew! That was close."
"Is everybody okay?" Ven asked, quickly and was relieved when they all replied that they were. Well, except for a few who looked like they were about to have a heart attack.
"A-Okay, Ven!" Sonic said once Pluto stopped licking him, as he wiped away the slobber and gave the sixteen year old spiky-haired boy a thumbs up.
"Sonic, that was very reckless, and I thought Ven was reckless enough." Terra scolded, even though he was more relieved that the blue hedgehog was safe than anything else.
"Ah, relax, Terra. I'm used to stuff like this." The fifteen year old blue hedgehog said calmly.
"That makes the both of us. I kinda do that sort of thing too, except for the speed and being chased part." Yozora admitted sheepishly, scratching the back of his head.
Mickey sighed as he and Sonic both patted Pluto, while the teenage mouse said. "Well, at least we're safe from Dectar for now. Now we've just gotta figure out how to get back home."
"I've seen movies like this where real people end up stuck in in-movie-movie's universe and couldn't get out until the movie was over, going straight through to the end." Lea remarked, shrugging. "Or, that's how they usually go."
"Well then, if we can't figure out another way, we're gonna do the same thing, and while we're here, maybe we can figure out what's wrong with Reptar. Monster or not, he's a hero and we have to believe in him." Ven decided.
"Yeah, and maybe that'll help us get back home!" Yozora nodded in agreement.
"Well, I believe he's eating a Fire Truck." Daisy said, pointing up ahead to see Reptar in an slightly opened area.
True to her words as Genie pulled the vehicle to a stop, Reptar was trying to bite into the said fire truck with difficulty.
"But the firemen are the good guys! He can't go eating their truck!" Melody protested, just as the giant green monster, in annoyance, began to roast it with his fire breath.
"But if he's not supposed to eat it, how come he's cookin' it?" Goofy asked, confused.
"Maybe he's confused." Minnie suggested.
"He might be thinking it's a Chili dog, or a piece of steak." Sonic shrugged half-sarcastically.
"Hmm, maybe since it's red, he thinks it's a giant meatball in tomato sauce." Mickey guessed, while hoping that there wasn't anybody inside the fire truck.
By that time, the fire truck was roasted, and Reptar tossed it into his mouth, slurping in the hose and munched and chewed before swallowing and belched.
"Then I guess the hose was the spaghetti." Amy concluded sarcastically, while she and the girls and even some of the guys were disgusted with how Reptar belched.
Seemingly not seeing them, Reptar then used his tail to swish it around and knocked down more buildings before stomping off to continue his mysterious rampage. Again Sonic noticed something very strange with the giant monster's hands, plus his behavior was also questionable and he began to think that his earlier claim with the monster actually being a robot replica may be right.
"Now what do we do?" Goofy asked.
"I guess we follow him to figure out what the problem is." Ven shrugged.
"Couldn't we just teleport outta here and go back home to watch the rest of the movie without US in it!?" Iago demanded fearfully, still panicking.
"I'm not sure if Chaos Control would work since we're inside the movie. We could end up causing a rift in the space-time continuum if we tried in this new realm." Tails shook his head, giving the blue hedgehog back the Chaos Emerald as the teenage hero placed it back into his quills.
"We could ask Genie to get us outta here." Isa suggested with his arms folded.
"We can't. Not yet." Sonic spoke up, causing his friends to gaze at him as he said, surprisingly firmly. "Remember that weird light before the Chaos Emerald glowed? If Eggman does have one and the light got to him first before it got to us, probably because his dumbots messed up somehow, then he's here too, and knowing him, if he doesn't like something, he would try and mess it up to his own liking."
"Why do you say that?" Yozora asked, curiously while Genie put their ride back into gear as they began follow Reptar once more.
"Hey, wasn't there one time one of our favorite TV shows suddenly changed into something more stupid and rotten for a few days before it changed back?" Ven recalled.
"Eggman." Sonic simply answered.
"And I'm gonna guess that Eggman messed up my favorite Comic book series before the writers got it back to normal after a week." Lea sighed, rolling his eyes.
"Bingo." The blue hedgehog replied.
"Oh, gimme a break!" Iago rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Even I know I can make an easier solution to avoid stuff that I don't like. If Eggman doesn't like that TV show that much, why couldn't he just change the channel? Or just go read another book if he didn't like the stupid comics in the first place?"
"Well, I guess we'll just have to find out for yourselves." Ven declared, determined to solve the mystery behind all of this.
As the group drove to follow Reptar to figure out what was wrong and hoping to get back home, Yozora lowered his gaze as he thought of what was happening and began to think of his own realistic theory.
'Sometimes anger and hate can cause the darkness overcome a person. Could something have happened to Reptar that made the darkness turn him bad? But...Light and Darkness work differently in this world. At least, I think it does.' The Teenage-Sora thought, hoping that it wasn't the case of darkness taking over Reptar's heart.
Meanwhile, as Reptar attempted to knock down or pull off the radio tower, a helicopter flew in to get as close to the giant monster as possible while the in-movie reporter control it to give out the news with her dog in the co-pilot seat.
"Hi, this is Pam, reporting from the CTV Helicopter, with Fritsy with me." Pam reported, with Fritsy barking in greeting, before she turned to her pet companion and said almost too optimistically. "While it seems that our once trusted hero has turned to evil to destroy us all, but on the bright side, it makes a very good story."
All of the sudden, Dectar appeared in front of them, screeching to eat them out of hunger and evil. Pam screamed in horror and thought that she and Fritsy were doomed. Surprisingly, Fritsy, with determination for him and his owner to live, took control with the co-pilot control stick and changed course, flying the helicopter away to try and escape while the giant flying monster gave chase.
Back on the ground with Reptar still shaking the radio tower, Ven and his friends continued to drive towards the giant green monster with many with having so many thoughts on the situation.
Mickey was having thoughts on how to calm Reptar down without getting eaten, gulping and rubbing his arms as though he was feeling cold.
"I think this calls for this movie to have a really bad ending to the hero, or something else is going on." Mushu remarked nervously.
"Oh, Mushu. I'm sure it won't be that bad. Every Reptar movie has a happy ending." Minnie pointed out.
'There's something really familiar the way how Reptar's moving. Why can't I figure it out yet? Could the big guy really be a robot? If so, then who made it, if not Eggman?' Sonic thought to himself as he watched Reptar become more and more destructive and that was very concerning.
It wasn't until he noticed Yozora looked rather more than just a little worried and the blue hedgehog asked him in concern. "Hey, you alright, Sora?"
"Huh?" Yozora blinked, turning to Sonic, having been lost in thought with his past. "Sorry, what?"
"You look kinda pale, pal. Is something wrong?" Sonic replied, which had Ven, Mickey and Tails' attentions as well.
"Oh, sorry. Just trying to figure out what's wrong with Reptar." The Alternate-Sora sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, realizing that he had been completely lost in thought. Even though he was telling the truth, at the same time he didn't want to tell anyone his own theory in case it was wrong. Plus, it would only cause more problems since they were trapped inside the movie.
The others in the meantime focused on Reptar while Aqua frowned in concern. "He doesn't look sick. I don't think it's because something's wrong with his body."
"Or maybe there's something wrong inside of him. It could be something like that." Tails said.
"Yeah, well, I say we just let the movie characters deal with him and we just drive and reach the ending so we can go back, please?" Iago complained, only for Mushu to shove him onto the floor.
"It's not gonna work like that, bird-brain! We need to figure this out or we're stuck here for the rest of our lives!" Mushu grunted angrily.
"You said it!" Donald said, but as he punched the side of the car, he ended up hurting himself. "Ouch! Genie, can't you make this car more safer? People could hurt themselves!"
"Wait a minute!" Mickey began, once he heard his friend accidentally hurt himself, and an idea formed in his mind. "Maybe that's why Reptar is causing problems. He must have gotten something really sharp under his foot, like a thorn. It always made Pluto cranky whenever he got a thorn. Right, Pluto?"
Confused at first over what his owner and best friend was talking about, the orange-yellow dog then realized what he meant and nodded in agreement. "Yeah yeah yeah!"
"Not sure how he managed, but it kind of makes sense to me." Lea shrugged.
"Yeah, let's see if that's the case." Ven nodded in agreement.
"Now that's what I call a real good theory." Genie smiled happily, pulling the car to a stop.
"Okay, let's split up into two groups. Genie, Lea, Isa, Aqua, Terra, Mel', you're with me. Mickey, you, Yozora, Sonic and the others look for Eggman and we'll meet up at the hill over there." Ven instructed, as he and his own group hopped out of the car before they hurried over to check up on Reptar.
"You betcha!" Mickey nodded in agreement, as did the others.
"Uh, maybe I should just stay in the car and hide while you guys go and risk your necks in getting squashed by the giant lizard or get vaporized by Robotnik's giant robot if he is around here." Iago suggested nervously, reclining on of the seats.
Suddenly he yelped when Donald grabbed him by the tail feathers and held him upside down and close up to his face with an annoyed and angry glare, saying sternly. "Oh no, you don't. You're coming with us, you big palooka."
"I'll speed around and see if Egghead's nearby, maybe even find another clue on how to get back home." Sonic announced.
"I'll go with you. It'll be easier with the two of us." Tails added.
"Thanks, buddy." The blue hedgehog grinned.
"Right. Watch for danger." Mickey replied.
"Right!" The blue hedgehog saluted with two fingers, smirking as he then hopped out of the car and sped away with Tails flying close behind, leaving Yozora, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Mushu, the really annoyed Iago, and the now angry Amy behind.
"Hey! I wanted to go too!" The pink hedgehog cried out, before growling. "Ooh! You men! Hmph!"
While both Minnie and Daisy knew what it was like in most occasions, Yozora, Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Mushu shared a glance before they and Iago all slumped.
"Girls." The teenage male mouse whispered to himself, shrugging in exasperation.
While Mickey's group used the bus to make their way around to search for clues and Sonic and Tails searched with speed and flight, Ven's group hurried carefully to where Reptar was as the giant monster ripped the top of the Tokyo Tower off and smashed more buildings, roaring. The seven of them crept closer and closer to the 'former' hero's feet where carefully.
"Okay, take it nice and slow and easy." Terra whispered with caution, and the others nodded in agreement.
But as they got close up, Reptar lifted his foot and was about to crush them, much to their horror.
"Look out!" Aqua screamed.
"Run!" Ven shouted as he and his friends ran to safety...except for Genie who didn't move in time and got stepped on, comically squashed flat like a pancake, much to the others' shock and horror. "Genie!"
Reptar, feeling something sticky underneath his foot, lifted it to find a squashed magical blue being who had unintentionally turned himself into a giant blue bubblegum with his face smooshed with a bewildered expression as he blinked a couple of times. Annoyed as the giant monster tried to pull him off, Reptar then growled before pulling off the lit of the entrance to the sewers and used it like a coin to scrape Genie off, and flicked him away.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Genie screamed while vanishing into the distance and behind more buildings, unknowingly to where Yozora's group was.
"Well...that planned worked out real well." Lea remarked in heavy sarcasm.
"Oh yeah, totally." Isa agreed with the same tone of sarcasm.
"I don't think this plan is working. He's too big and fast for us." Melody shook her head in dismay. "What do we do now?"
"We must set a trap for him." Suddenly a voice spoke from above, causing Ven and his friends to look to see, to their surprise on a large TV screen in front of a building, the Professor character and his two assistants in a car with the young man driving, apparently also trying to solve the problem with the monster hero as well.
"A trap? But how?" The female assistant asked, curiously.
"First, we lower Reptar into one of the nuclear power plants near by and get him to lie down on the experimental table. Then we do tests, chemical analysis and other stuff to figure out what's wrong with him." Older man explained.
"And if we can get him to stay still long enough, we can probably get him to say "ah"." The young woman added jokingly.
"Ah." The young male said teasingly, prompting all three of them to laugh.
The students of Radiant Academy, while dumbfounded over the joke with sweat drops, it did give them an idea on what to do next.
"Okay, if those guys are going to set up a trap, we should do the same. I got a feeling that everything's all messed up here, like we're experincing two separate worlds or whatever." Lea suggested, folding his arms in thought.
"But we can't just a nuclear power plant. We're not qualified to do so and we don't even know where we could find one." Aqua pointed out.
"There's gotta a way to get him to hold still." Ven grunted, narrowing his brows as he folded his arms in thought. "I wish Genie wasn't thrown away."
"Or gotten himself stuck like glue." Isa shook his head in exasperation.
However, the words the blue-haired teenage boy said made Lea begin to come up with something in his mind. Stuck, sticky, unable to get out...
"I've got an idea, and I think it'll a heck of a lot easier than a nuclear power plant." The red-headed boy said, smirking. "It'll just be a little sticky, like Genie's bubblegum crisis."
The others stared blankly at him, before he began to explain his plan.
Meanwhile, the CTV News Helicopter was still trying to escape Dectar who snapped his jaws in an attempt to eat Pam and Frisky, only to repeatedly miss and smashed against more buildings along the way.
At the same time in the park, Mickey, Yozora, Amy, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Mushu, Goofy, Iago and Pluto were still looking for any traces or clues on Eggman's whereabouts or even another Chaos Emerald. Yet they couldn't find a single trace of anything related to their and their friends' situation.
"Aww...This is gettin' silly." Goofy grumbled in annoyance as he broke the fourth-wall by gazing at the readers/viewers, crossing his arms as he leaned against the side of the vehicle.
"You're telling me." Donald groaned in agreement, leaning against the bus with one hand with his other on his hip.
"Huh, I'll say." Mickey nodded in agreement, tapping his foot. "That Dr. Robotnik sure is pretty good in hidin' and really hard to find."
"He's gotta be around here somewhere." Yozora pointed out, gazing around as he refused to give up, shielding his eyes with one hand. "How hard can it be to find a guy that's shaped like an egg with a mustache?"
Just then, Sonic zoomed in with a blue blur and nearly knocked the others over. "The best way to find him is to find his ugly mug paint job that's easy to spot." He explained casually, as Tails flew in and landed next to him.
"Did you guys have any luck?" The Teenage-Sora asked hopefully.
"Not yet, 'cause this is an unfamiliar city within the movie and he could be anywhere." The blue hedgehog admitted sheepishly with a shrug, before pointing. "But maybe we'll have better luck up in the mountain."
"What mountain?" Mushu asked with a shrug of his own, dumbfounded.
"While Sonic and I were searching through the city and even through the clearings, the only mountain around here is Mt. Fuji." Tails explained, while he pulled out a yellow device with a small screen while monitoring. "Also, according to what I've analyzed so far, we are currently in a split realm separated from the main movie itself, which can, theoretically, interact in a same place to a certain event."
"Um...Can you say that again in a more basic way, please, Tails?" Yozora asked pleadingly. "I'm not good with all of the computer stuff."
"In other words, Chaos Control somehow created two realms which if we arrive in a same place where something bad were to happen to us and the movie characters, it would merge somehow to be in the same place." The two-tailed fox explained.
"So basically, it's like an alternate universe kind of stuff, like how Yozora and Sora both exist at the same time back at home, right?" Sonic asked, hoping that he understood since he wasn't computer-savvy either.
"Exactly." The eight year old cub nodded.
"Huh?" Donald and Goofy both shrugged, cluelessly, while Mickey and the girls blinked in confusion, before Yozora snapped his fingers.
"Oh! I get it now!" The alternate-Sora exclaimed, as a memory came into his mind. "So the world within this movie is split in two. The movie characters in one world, us in the other."
"And like with you and kid-Sora, Reptar and Dector are also split..." Sonic added in realization, snapping his fingers. "That makes a whole lotta sense! How'd you figure that out, Yozora?"
"Well...I had some experience back where I came from." Yozora awkwardly answered, scratching the back of his head.
"Yeah, a lot of crazy experiences. More crazy than what we've been through in the last couple of years." Mushu shrugged in agreement.
Iago groaned, facepalming himself. "Do I have to go through every single crazy new world or stuff like this? I wish something would just fall from the sky and land right on top of me again and put me out of my misery!"
Unfortunately, he jinxed himself as he heard something literally fall from the sky, and as the red parrot looked up, he gaped in horror at first, before frowning with a knowing deadpan expression. "I spoke too soon."
The thing is revealed to be Genie, who is still stuck on the shaft's lid and heading uncontrollably straight towards Iago who screamed for a second before the heavy metal and the magical being landed right on top of him, squashing the poor parrot comically with a loud clang.
"This is...getting way too old..." Iago groaned and coughed.
Unbeknownst to Yozora's group, Ven and the others had arrived at another large part of the park on a grassy hill, where Aqua, Melody and Ven were creating a freshly made giant mud puddle with the nearby water fauncet and a hose they found before the teenage boy turned it off.
"Watch out!" Aqua cried out when she suddenly noticed something heading towards her and the younger kids, pulling them back as Ven and Melody yelped when a large cylinder container rolled down the hill, only for the fauncet to stop it in it's tracks.
"Yo, guys! Found it!" Lea called out as he, Isa, and Terra raced up from the otherside of the hill. "Though not sure how or where this came from, but it should do the trick."
When the blond-spiky-haired boy and the two girls scanned the container, it had a logo of a child-like picture of a dinosaur on the side, as Ven smirked. "Great! Not even Reptar can resist in eating Dinosaur Treats."
"But, how did you a giant container of Dino-snacks? I don't remember this being in the movie franchise." Melody asked, puzzled.
"It's best not to ask. Believe me, I wondered about the same thing before realizing that I don't wanna know." Isa shook his head with a grimace.
"Okay, so now that we've got what we needed, what's the next part of the plan?" Aqua questioned.
"Easy. To make sure Reptar doesn't see where he's goin', all we gotta do now is cover up the mud-trap so that way he won't know that it's there." Lea explained.
"Which I think it's going to take us a while since it's pretty huge." Terra pointed out, and true to his word, the mud puddle was so large that it was about two times wider than the monster hero on rampage.
Realizing that his older best friend was right as the others shared worried glances, with the red-haired teen face-palming himself at this realization, Ven scratched the back of his head with a sigh. "I wish Genie was here. Sure hope he'll be okay and meet up with us, or at least Mickey and the others."
Terra was right. This was going to take a while.
Back with Mickey's group...
Seeing what happened with Iago and, to their surprise, Genie, Yozora, Mickey, Sonic, Tails, Donald and Goofy all pulled hard to get the magical being unstuck after lifting the heavy piece of round-shaped metal off of Iago, who was being tendered by Amy, Minnie and Daisy, with Pluto and Mushu watching by.
By then, Genie, with a bit of pained daze, explained what happened.
"You know, Genie, the more logical thing to do in that situation is to, ugh, actually, move...!" Sonic lectured, as he, Tails and Mickey pulled at the Genie's arms to peel him off, while Yozora, Donald and Goofy held the lid as they pulled as well.
"Normally, I say that this, hughhh...this happens to him all the time, but he really shoulda...really...gotten outta the...way...!" Mickey grunted in agreement.
"So would've the parrot." Mushu remarked dryly.
"Yeah, yeah. Laugh all you want, dragon-boy...It's not my fault we're stuck inside the movie of one of the stupidest franchises in the entire universe!" Iago grumbled, before wincing in pain when Daisy rubbed more cream on his back. "Ow! Hey, can't you do it more gently!?"
"Hold still, you big baby! We're almost done." The teenage girl-duck grumbled in a scolding tone, while Minnie and Amy put on bandages around the red bird.
"I've never met anybody that could complain so much." Amy shook her head, whispering to Minnie. "Where did you even find him?"
"Well, that's a very long story. It happened not long after Ven, Lea and the others met Genie." Minnie whispered back.
By then, the five teenagers and the two-tailed fox finally pulled Genie free with a loud yank which sent all seven of them flying slightly in opposite directions as the boys all cried out before crashing onto the grass, though Genie ended up accidentally digging himself into the ground and was buried for a second or two. He then plopped his hand out and yanked himself free and back onto solid ground, back to normal.
"Sorry, guys. I really should've moved." Genie said apologetically while Yozora, Sonic, Tails, Mickey, Donald and Goofy, recovering themselves, stood up and approached him. "Now that I'm free, I've gotta get back to Ven and figure out what's wrong with Reptar."
"Hmm...Well, it looks like Reptar doesn't have a thorn anybody on him, so we can rule that theory out." Mickey said thoughtfully, folding his arms while cupping his chin with his hand. "If only we could figure out what's wrong."
"Speakin' of wrong...There's Reptar over there!" Goofy suddenly screamed as he pointed up ahead, just as the giant monster's roar filled the air, prompting the others to turn to the same direction.
True to the teenage dog's words, Reptar was approaching the park while stomping through the streets, and also to add to the situation, they could see Ven's group covering the mud puddle trap they made, unaware of the danger they were in.
"OH NO! Ven and the others are in trouble!" Mickey exclaimed in horror.
"What are they doing with that giant mud puddle!?" Sonic cried out, bewildered and worried.
"Maybe they're trying to lure Reptar into a trap to figure out what's wrong, but I don't think they know that he's coming up right towards them!" Tails correctly guessed while fearing for the others' safety.
"We've gotta save them!" Yozora cried out worriedly.
"I'm on it!" The blue hedgehog declared, speeding off to rescue Ven, Terra, Aqua, Lea, Isa, and Melody.
"Wait for us, Sonic!" Genie called out, before he magically teleported himself and his friends including the girls, Iago, Mushu and Pluto who yelped in alarm back into their seats and pushed several buttons. "Fasten your seatbelts! We're goin' supersonic fast!"
That only made the teenagers, the eight year old fox and the animals sweat drop with worried deadpan expressions over the ironic choosing of words. But true to their magical friend's words, the button which, again, ironically, said 'supersonic mode' was pushed, which now made everyone worry even more...this time for themselves.
"Genie, NO!" Yozora screamed hysterically, terrified.
Too late, Genie's bus went very fast, faster than usual and even went into the same speed as Sonic who raced to rescue Ven's group, only to hear the engines of the bus and looked over his shoulder, flinching in shock to find his friends speeding up towards him.
"Hey, Genie!" Sonic called up now that he and the bus were in the same speed and side by side.
"Yeah, Sonic?" Genie replied while Yozora, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Tails, Amy, Mushu, Iago and Pluto all screamed in terror as they held on for dear life.
"Did you use your magic to make this car go super fast? Why didn't you make it in the similar speed earlier while we were running away from Dectar?" The fifteen year old hedgehog shrugged.
"Uh, it was for safety measures, but this time this is an emergency rescue operation!" The magical being explained.
"Can't you just do both emergency and safety measures by just teleporting Ven and the others instead of doing it like this!? I don't wanna crash and turn into a hot pancake!" Mushu screamed hysterically.
"Please slow down!" Tails screamed. He was used to being with Sonic carrying him sometimes, but this was asking for a crash.
"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssseeeeeeeee!" Both Donald and Iago wailed.
"You wanna hop in to make it easier?" Genie then asked.
Sonic, feeling sorry for his best friends and new friends in the car, decided to focus on saving Ven and the others, responding. "No, thanks!"
Meanwhile, Ven and the others were plucking both chunks of grass as well as flowers they found nearby and tossed all over the giant mud puddle as quickly as they could while making sure that it was completely covered up, unaware that Reptar was now exiting the city, but not before setting a billboard sign alight and then continued to stomp across the park, seemingly unaware of the group he was about to crush.
"Hey, do you guys feel that?" Lea asked all of the sudden, as he felt the ground unnaturally shake, unless it was an Earthquake. (Note: Hey, that rhymed! ;) Lol.)
While not noticing at first as they were focused on their trap, Ven and the others paused and realized that their friend was right, then spun around and gasped in horror when they saw that Reptar was heading straight towards them, his shadow covering the students of Radiant Academy as they screamed.
"LOOK OUT!" Sonic shouted as he and the others in the raced over. In the nick of time, the blue hedgehog scooped up Melody into his arms while at the exact same time, Yozora and the others grabbed hold of Ven, Lea, Isa, Terra, and Aqua, moving out of the way just as Reptar unknowingly and surprising stepped right into the mud puddle and gotten himself stuck.
"You are okay, Mel?" Sonic asked the half-mermaid who nodded, a bit shakily.
"Yeah. Thanks, Sonic." Melody nodded.
"All aboard the Genie Express!" Genie declared in relief as he looked over his shoulder, relieved that his friends were safe.
"Thanks, Genie!" Ven smiled in relief, while the others sighed at the close call.
"That was close, ha." Mickey sighed in relief as everyone was safely back together, only to see something else to which Genie, not paying attention, was about to crash into as everyone else also noticed. "LOOK OUT!"
But it was too late, as by the time Genie looked and screamed comically, he turned the wheel to try and steer it away, only to accidentally bump into Sonic and Melody who ended up falling into the bus and they all crashed into the water fauncet, smashing it and landed on the side, while causing the container of dinosaur treats to fly into the air, with Genie knocked out yet again while Yozora, Mickey and Iago who all screamed were sent flying.
While the container crashed into the ground which split it open and spilled out the purple treats that were shaped like multiple dinosaurs into a giant pile, the four of them landed right into it. Yozora, Mickey and Iago found themselves stuck in the right-side-way up, groaning after they dug half-way out.
"Are you fellas alright?" Mickey asked, rubbing his head.
"Ugh...good thing whatever we've landed on is soft. It's like landing in the soft snow after falling off the mountain at least three times." Yozora groaned, a bit dazed as he felt a case of deja vu.
"Wanna try again?" The teenage mouse teased.
"Noooooo thank youuuuuuu!" The teenage boy shouted in exasperation and hint of fear.
Iago groaned, shaking his head. "Phew...You took the words right outta my mouth, kid. But at least for once we've landed in a nice soft pile of..." But as he grabbed some of the stuff, he gasped in horror as his relief was washed away, exclaiming when he saw what it was. "DINOSAUR TREATS!?"
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?" Both teenagers exclaimed in terror, before looking for themselves and screamed before they quickly tried to pull themselves out, but were firml stuck and required other people to help. They then looked to see Reptar dangerously close by staring at them while his left foot was stuck in the mud.
The trio shivered before they screamed out in horror.
"HELP! Reptar's gonna eat us!" Mickey screamed in horror, being the most terrified besides Iago, his fear of being eaten by giants coming back with a vengeance. 'Oh, please! Tell me this is a terrible nightmare! I wanna go home!'
"HELP! HELP!" Yozora exclaimed, grunting as he struggled to pull himself free.
"PLEASE DON'T EAT US, REPTAR! I'll never say any bad things about you or your movies ever again!" Iago pleaded with a wail, clasping his wings together for mercy.
With the others, the ride was still on it's side with most of the group a bit stuck themselves and would require in awkward climbing out, and the only ones that were out of the bus and lying on the ground were both Ven and Sonic who were lying on their backs.
"Okay, who's idea was this?" Mushu asked in annoyance, one hand on his left check and his right hand tapping on the side of the bus.
"Next time, I'm driving." Donald grumbled in irritation.
"Ow..." Sonic groaned as he and Ven sat up, the blue hedgehog placing a hand to his head as he winced. "I'm a lover of speed, but even I'm careful with it comes to turning corners, and slowing down."
"HELP, FELLAS!" Mickey screamed out, which got the others' attentions as they all then gasped in horror to see him, Yozora, and Iago trapped in the pile of Dinosaur treats.
"GUYS, HELP!" Yozora shouted desperately, feeling himself terrified for the very first time in ages.
"GET US OUTTA HERE PLEASE!" Iago wailed.
"Mickey! Iago!" Ven exclaimed.
"Sora!" Sonic screamed out in horror, before he and the Emerald-Sword Wielder got up before racing over to rescue their three trapped friends.
"Hey! What about us!?" Amy cried out.
"We can get out, Amy...that's not a major problem." Tails reassured, already working on unbuckling himself.
Unfortunately, Reptar pulled and yanked his leg out, while strangely making machinery noises with his body, and roared while beginning to head towards the pile of treats, much to the horror of the others as they couldn't get out in time to help Ven and Sonic to rescue Mickey, Iago and Yozora.
"Okay, so the mud trap was a bust." Lea muttered worriedly and apologetically when Isa, Aqua, Terra, and Melody glared at him over the failed plan.
By then, Ven and Sonic climbed up the pile and began to try and free the others, Ven pulling hard while holding Mickey's hands while Sonic did the same with Yozora and Iago clinged onto the latter, quivering, but it was a struggle, the two teenage boys struggling and nervously sweating while their trapped friends were also sweating with fear.
"AWK! Hurry up, before we end up being dinosaur breakfast!" Iago screamed desperately.
"Ugh...! We're trying as hard as we can!" Sonic grunted as he and Ven pulled.
Yozora, not wanting to lose any more of his friends and fearing that unless one of them had be left behind considering it was a race and struggle against time, closed his eyes as he made to let go of the blue hedgehog's hand and told him sorrowfully. "Sonic! You can't pull me! Just get Iago out, help Ven to pull Mickey and run! Don't worry about me!"
"Yozora, no!" Mickey exclaimed in horror as he and the others quickly realized that their friend was telling them to leave him behind to sacrifice himself.
"NO! I'm not leaving you, Yozora!" Ven stubbornly declared, not wanting to lose a friend.
"Neither am I!" Sonic added, as he never left anybody behind in his entire life. "You guys are comin' with us!"
But it was too late, as a giant shadow loomed over them and both Ven and Sonic looked behind them and spun around in horror, yelping in fear as they, Yozora, Mickey and Iago were now about to be eaten as Reptar was walking closer and closer to them.
"We're added ingredients to the dinosaur treats...!" Iago whimpered in fear, coming to believe that this was the end of them.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ven, Yozora, Mickey and Sonic all screamed in terror, fearing that they were about to become dinosaur food and the former monster hero was about to eat them alive.

A/N: Uh oh! Our heroes are now not only trapped inside the Runaway Reptar Movie, but Ven, Yozora, Mickey, Sonic and Iago trapped! Will they survive and avoid in getting eaten? Will they and their friends find a way back home?
The only way to find out is for the second part of this two-parter episode to be released, which hopefully won't be as long(assuming I'll be able to update anymore chapters in the future, which I'm not certain due to the website having problems again and if my computer allows me to do so, but we'll wait and see)
