Twenty years ago, a boy was banished from a village that his father sacrificed his life to save it.
This boy was banished for failing to bring back a girl who left the village to accept the offer of a traitor to kill her brother.
On that day, his sensei, his godfather, his instructor and his friends desperately fight for him so that he won't be banished from the village but to no avail as the Fire Daimyō, his mother, majority of the village's population, and the Civilian Council agree to kick him out of the village.
What about the leader of the village? She didn't do anything nor look at the crying boy.
So, he left the village. No one knows where he go but one thing for sure he became a legend.
He is known as Ghost of Yellow Flash. He strikes fear in his enemies' heart. He protect innocent people and have one rule ; no killing. But his existence was never fully confirmed, making him a myth although there are people believe he is real especially Kumo and Iwa since the Ghost of Yellow Flash once defeated 1000 Kumo and Iwa-nin.
But for some unknown reason, he vanished after killing majority of the members of Akatsuki. And with his disappearance, Kumo and Iwa declared war against Konoha.
Will this declaration cause the Ghost of Yellow Flash to appear?
Location : Hokage's Office, Konoha
Senju Tsunade could be seen reading a scroll with an angry expression. She closed the scroll and leaned against her chair as she released a heavy sigh.
It's been months since Iwa and Kumo declared war against Konoha and its ally, Suna, for no reason other than to show which village is more powerful. Tsunade and Gaara told them that it is useless to go on war against them but they refuse to listen especially that old fossil of Sandaime Tsuchikage who wants to kill the son of Namikaze Minato and breed his wife and daughter.
Son.
Ah Naruto... Where are you now?
The question that Tsunade always ask since 12 years ago. She tapped her fingers and stared at the picture of Naruto smiling with Jiraiya, Shizune, Tonton and herself. She smiled before someone knocked the door.
"Enter."
"Tsunade-sama."
It is Kakashi who knocked the door. He stood in front of Tsunade and placed his hands inside the pocket of his pants.
"I need your help." said Tsunade to Kakashi. "And only you can do this."
"?"
"I need you to bring Ghost of Yellow Flash to here. He is the only one who can help us for the upcoming war." said Tsunade to Kakashi who released a heavy sigh.
"With all respect Tsunade-sama, that man vanished since five years ago. And we don't even know if he is a real person or just a myth!" said Kakashi to Tsunade.
"Please Kakashi, that man is our only hope. Konoha's final hope. You have to find him." begged Tsunade to the ex-Anbu that released a heavy sigh. "Please."
"I try to search him. God knows where he is right now." said Kakashi before he excused himself.
Somewhere far from the Five Great Land
Inside an old wooden house, a man could be seen walking to a kitchen with a crutch. He took out a bottle of milk from the refrigerator and poured it inside the cup. He was about to drink it but someone knocked his door.
So this man with long spiky yellow hair, blue eyes, three whiskers on each of his cheek and have scars across his body, went to the door. He opened it and smiled when he saw an elder man with long spiky silver hair that tied into ponytail.
"Hey, Ero-sennin."
"Hey, Naruto."
Naruto gestured the Ero-sennin or his true name, Jiraiya, to enter the house and closed the door. He was about to go to the kitchen but Jiraiya stopped him.
"It's fine Naruto. You don't have to force yourself." said Jiraiya as he sat down and looked at Naruto's injured right leg. "Five years have passed and you still refuse to let Hayami heal it?"
"I'm fine with it." said Naruto as he placed his crutch on the sofa. "What brings you here?"
"Nah, just want to visit my godson. How are you?" asked Jiraiya to Naruto.
"I am fine. Hayami-sensei, Marida-sensei, Gilgamesh-sensei and Aruto-sensei visit me sometimes asking how am I doing and give groceries or money. They even want to heal my leg but I rejected because you know-"
"Yeah, you done living as Ghost of Yellow Flash." said Jiraiya to Naruto. "I..."
"Jiraiya-sensei, you came here for something right?" asked Naruto to Jiraiya who looked away. "Don't lie to me. Ever since I befriend with Kurama, I can sense negative emotions and I can sense that you're lying when you say you want to see my condition."
"I'm sorry Naruto..."
"It's fine. Tell me, what's wrong?" asked Naruto as he looked at Jiraiya who gave him a serious face.
"Iwa and Kumo declared war against Konoha months ago." said Jiraiya to Naruto, expecting that he will at least shock a bit but he didn't. "You don't seems to be surprised?"
"Let me guess, Senju wants my help? Am I right? No. Not gonna help her. I give up. I give up wearing that suit. I give up fighting." said Naruto to Jiraiya.
"Naruto-"
"No Ero-sennin. I lost too much. I can't fight anymore. After what Satsuki did to me... I give up. She was right after all." said Naruto as he placed his hand on his right thigh.
"Whatever did she said to you on that night. We both know that it is not true. She still the same Satsuki that you know and you love." said Jiraiya to Naruto. "And you don't have to blame yourself for what happened to her."
"This broken leg is the reminder of my failure. My failure to save her from the dark path." said Naruto to Jiraiya. "There's nothing left for me to fight for, Ero-sennin. I give up."
"The boy that I know, he won't give up. No matter what happen to him, he won't give up. That's his nindo." said Jiraiya to Naruto, causing him to angry and glared at him.
"That boy die on the night his mother saw him as a nothing but a demon. That boy die when his sister spread fake rumours about him being a demon and want to kill her. That boy die when the old man that he saw a grandfather murdered by his student who obsess with immortality. That boy die when he fail to bring back the person he loves. That boy die when the woman that he look as a mother refused to look at him on that day and do something for him. That boy die when he was banished from the village that his father sacrificed his life to save it. That boy die when he failed to save his friends who were tortured and raped by Kumo and Iwa-nin. That boy die when he broke his rule. That boy die when the girl that he loves told him that he disappointed her and she will kill him. That boy die on the night where he decided not to rise after he fell. So tell me, Ero-sennin, even if that boy is somehow still alive right now, right here. Do you think he will agree to help the village who made him nothing but anger and suffer?"
Jiraiya could only silent and looked at Naruto who released a heavy sigh and rose up with the help of his crutch. He then walked away from Jiraiya, heading to his room but,
"You're wrong. That boy didn't die. He grew into a man. A man who strikes fear within the heart of his enemies. A man who saved countless of innocent people. A man who saved the teacher of his father. A man who saved the village by eliminating a group of nuke-nin. A man who became a legend. And that legend is still alive, sitting right here, in front of me. Yes he fell into the dark abyss but he will rise because he will never give up. Naruto, I won't ask you to protect Konoha but I will ask you to protect your precious people."
Naruto didn't say anything and instead he looked away. Jiraiya chuckled and squeezed the shoulder of his apprentice before rose up from his seat.
"I'm not good at giving motivation but your father are and if he is still alive by now, standing in front of you, he will say these words."
Naruto looked at Jiraiya.
"I am proud of you, son."
Naruto widened his eyes when he saw the spirit of his smiling father stood beside Jiraiya. The Toad Sage smiled and went to the door, preparing to exit but Naruto called him.
"Ero-sennin, bring Hayami-sensei tonight."
Timeskip : Hours later
Location : Konoha's Office
"Troublesome."
Nara Shikamaru is currently rubbing his temples as he reading a letter. He released a heavy sigh and looked at Tsunade.
"So Iwa has a new generation of Clay Squad and the Tsuchikage created his own version of Akatsuki that known as Dawn that consisted of his granddaughter that can use Jinton and Yonton, his personal bodyguards that are Jinchūriki, his adopted grandson that can use Shakuton and a woman that has a Kekkai Genkai that allows her body to become steel. Kumo have T.H.U.N.D.E.R Squad led by Darui of the Black Lightning and Bolt that led by the Nibi Jinchūriki."
"Yes and we are going to lose without the help of Ghost of Yellow Flash." said Tsunade as she saw Kakashi entered the room. "Have you found him, Kakashi?"
"I sent my message to him through someone but I don't know if he will read it or not." said Kakashi as he placed his hands inside his pocket. "Is Kiri going to help us?"
"I fear not since Kumo and Iwa helped the new Mizukage to end the civil war. I also heard the rumour that Kiri has a new powerful squad that known as Bloody Hunter and led by Yondaime Mizukage." said Tsunade to Kakashi.
"Wait, I thought Yondaime was dead." said Kakashi with Shikamaru agreed with what he said.
"So do I but Asuma told me that he overheard the discussion between two Kiri-nin at Hoshikuzu Izakaya where they talked about how the new Mizukage managed to break the Yondaime Mizukage mentally and made him become her loyal pet." said Tsunade to Kakashi as she crossed her arms. "The only person who can help us now is Ghost of Yellow Flash."
Meanwhile
"ARGH!!"
"Stay still!"
Naruto screamed in agony as a beautiful woman with dark layered pixie hairstyle, brown eyes and red lips healing his broken leg. He bit his lips and destroyed his crutch with his bare hands as he couldn't bear the pain of his broken leg getting heal.
This woman wears plaid turtleneck sleeveless sweater that stopped below her chest, high waist tight leather pants and a pair of fingerless gloves.
"It's done." said the woman as she and Jiraiya watched Naruto rose up and walked around.
"I can walk..." said Naruto before he turned around and kicked the wall behind him, destroying it. "Woah. Thanks, Hayami-sensei."
"No problem kid." said Hayami to Naruto before he looked at Jiraiya. "So does this mean the Ghost of Yellow Flash return from his five years absence?"
"I guess." replied Jiraiya before he and Hayami followed Naruto to a secret room. They watched he placed his hand on the glass of the container that stores a dark bodysuit with golden line lightning emblem on the chest. "Minato-gaki once told me about he want to create that kind of suit when he became Hokage but I don't know why he didn't do that."
"Yeah. Everytime Naruto wears that, he reminds me of Minato-kun." said Hayami as she watched Naruto took off his clothes, showing his scarred body. She then glared at Jiraiya who's giggling at her and turned around.
Naruto wears the black form-fitting sleeveless bodysuit with a pair of dark pauldron, dark gauntlets with blade blades on each of it, a pair of red leg warmers with black lace up boots and a pouch on his right hip. He took a metallic black mask that concealed his face and wore it.
"Welcome back, Ghost of Yellow Flash." said Jiraiya to Naruto who smirked behind his mask.
"Naruto, are you sure you want to go back Konoha? Shouldn't you wait for a while to regain back your strength and speed?" said Hayami with a worry tone.
"There's no time for me to regain back my strength and speed. I gotta go now." said Naruto before Jiraiya and Hayami placed their hands to his back. "Ready?"
Both of them nodded their heads before Naruto teleported with them to Konoha with Hiraishin.
"Tsunade-sama! Hundreds of Iwa-nin are rushing to the gate!"
"WHAT?! I want you to call all chūnin and jōnin to protect the village! The genin and civilians hide inside the safe place behind the Hokage Rock! Now!" ordered Tsunade to the chūnin who barged in her office. "Anbu!"
An Anbu with the mask of cat appeared and knelt before Tsunade.
"I want you and your Anbu eliminate the enemies and protect the civilian. Now!" screamed Tsunade to the Anbu who nodded her head and vanished. "Damn you old bastard!"
Tsunade, Kakashi and Shikamaru Shushin outside of the office and saw their allies fighting the enemies. Tsunade then rushed towards two red haired woman to assist them in their battle.
"Kushina! Naruko!" screamed Tsunade as she punched away an Iwa-nin that tried to cut Naruko into half.
"Tsunade baa-chan!" Naruko jumped to avoid a swing of katana from Iwa-nin and decapitated him with her crimson blade, Crimson Demon.
Naruko is a replica of her mother, long crimson hair with violet eyes. She wears Konoha's flak jacket over black sleeveless shirt, black Anbu pants and a pair of grey shinobi sandals. She wears her hitai-ate around her right bicep.
"Kushina, how could this happened?" asked Tsunade to Kushina who ripped five men with chains that coming out from her back.
Kushina is a long red haired woman that tied into a high ponytail and strands at the sides of her face with violet eyes. She wears Konoha flak jacket over a black short-sleeved shirt and black form-fitting pants that reached her calves.
"I don't know how could this happened but they are too many!" screamed Kushina as she punched away her enemy and looked at Tsunade who just finished knocking away twenty Iwa-nin with a single punch to the ground. "At this rate-"
"Mom, look at the sky!" screamed Naruko to Kushina who looked at the sky.
Everyone did the same thing and saw someone with her hands extending forward.
"Today will be marked the end of Konoha! Take this, Namikaze! Jinton : Genkai Hakuri no Jutsu!!"
Everyone in the Konoha saw a huge a conical with a sphere inside it coming at them but before that technique could hit all of them, suddenly the attack was gone.
"What the-"
Kakashi saw Yondaime's personal kunai appeared not too far from him. He gasped and watched hundreds of thousands kunai scattered across the village. His pink haired student who noticed what happened with the horror expression of Iwa-nin asked Kakashi what's happening but all he replied was,
"Sakura, you're in a show tonight."
Naruto appeared behind an Iwa-nin and knocked him out before he disappeared and reappeared between two Iwa-nin and knocked them out with a might punch. He then disappeared and reappeared again before engaging the enemies and defeated them in a few seconds.
He looked at Kakashi and gave a sharp nod before disappeared from everyone's sight.
"Kakashi, is that-"
"That's right Asuma, that's the Ghost of Yellow Flash."
The woman who tried to destroy the entire village watched in horror as the Ghost of Yellow Flash defeated all the enemies except two men in a flash. She quickly went towards that two men and disappeared with them.
Jiraiya and Hayami appeared not too far from Tsunade, Kushina and Naruko as the rest of Konoha 11, their jōnin and Anbu arrived at their location.
"Jiraiya?"
"Hello, Tsunade. It's been a while." said Jiraiya to Tsunade with a serious face. He then saw everyone were talking about Hayami.
"That couldn't be her!"
"But she looks like twenty!"
"Isn't she Hayami the Crimson Lion?"
"What brings you back here, Jiraiya?" asked Kushina to the man who swore to the villagers that he won't come back after Naruto was banished.
"Kakashi told me that Konoha need the help of Ghost of Yellow Flash. So here he is." said Jiraiya as Naruto appeared beside him and looked at everyone especially Kushina and Naruko. "And we are here to help you for the upcoming war. Am I right Naruto?"
"Yeah but the Hokage have to pay 14 million ryō for my assist in the upcoming war." said Naruto with raspy voice as he took off his mask, revealing his face to everyone who gasped and screamed.
"NARUTO?!"
"Welcome back, Naruto."
Standing on top of a building, a woman in black hooded cloak smirked at what she just witnessed. She turned around as her eyes became crimson with three tomoes.
"Looks like you still haven't give up on me huh?"
