Twilight:

I know it's an odd section to have but for those of you who actually bothered to read all this might have been thinking "she sure loves vampires, but no twilight?!". Well I do like the books, however I find myself slightly ashamed to be lumped in with the OTT fangirl's. Don't get me wrong I was excited for Breaking Dawn and the first movie but I just have heard so much about twilight that it made me sick of it. There are a lot of other much better vamp romances out there, and this obsession with Twilight has led to a rash of very cliche vamp romance books that have latched onto the bandwagon, lessening the awesomeness of the few vamp romances that are done well. I think for me it was when I saw a "dark romance" section in my local Waterstone's that it all just got a bit too much for me.

So in summary, books = yey, movies = meh not bad, hype = *sigh of annoyance, copycat books = grrrrr

Oh and team Edward for me. Jacob annoyed me. And in New Moon (the movie) did anyone else find themselves distracted by how white Jacob's teeth were?
