Sonic Visits Planet Wisp.
Author's Note: As per request from fellow fanfiction author and friend danielman21, at least the first original half of it, this story is an alternate take on how Sonic and his friends reunite with the Wisps and spend more time with them.
It's also to show off support to danielman21 as well as he has unfortunately lossed his grandmother through such one of the worst times in history. If you're reading this danielman21, I hope this two-shot(Or possibly more, it's hard to say) will make you feel better, because losing a loved one is always a horrible thing to happen, but you're not alone in this.

Part 1: Visiting Planet Wisp.
A week passed since Sonic and his friends once again saved the world, this time saving all of Space and Time from the evils of the Time Eater and Cormain, with the aid of some of their alternate selves from two separate realities. It has been peaceful since then and it was even better than ever before; Despite that it had been a dangerous quest while they had been trapped in the White Space, they had successfully defeated the monsters, and the best part as though it was a gift in gratitude and one of the best birthday presents the blue hedgehog ever received, Sonic's dearest uncle Sir Charles "Uncle Chuck" Hedgehog has been revealed to be alive and trapped within the Prison of Evil for almost ten years along with other people of other worlds including the fifty people that Kaiser sent to.
Thanks to the guardians of the Prison of Evil, the Octosaurs who one of it's highest members the High Guard Soloman whom Sonic and his friends had been terrified of at first yet proven that the creatures were gentle and were in fact the creators of the Mother Wisp, Sonic successfully rescued them and now Uncle Chuck and the fifty other people that had disappeared were finally back home.
Right now, the blue hedgehog was resting against a tree, perfectly calm and relaxing. A bit further down the hill, Tails was making the finishing touches on his new translating watches he called the WCS, short for Wisp-O T4 Tele-Watch and Communication Strap, Amy was giggling and Cream and Cheese were playing with a couple of Wisps.
'Hard to believe that the last time the Wisps came for a visit, it was only just two of them. Now some of them seem to like it here.' Sonic thought to himself in content, smiling as one of the Wisps, a White Wisp, was sleeping on his head, perfectly content as well. Aloud, he asked his little alien friend. "How's it going up there, little guy?"
"%$#&%$# ..." The White Wisp babbled, relaxed and as though it was about to fall asleep. While the blue hedgehog had no idea what the cute little alien said, he could tell that it was happy to be in his and the other Mobians'(and the Chao's) company.
"I guess you really like Mobius. Took me by surprise that you guys decided to come and visit." The hero of Mobius chuckled, remembering how three days ago, he'd been out on the run when he noticed something up ahead on the hill.
Curious, he decided to investigate and was surprised to see Cream and Cheese...with Tails, Yacker, two white Wisps, a Jumping Wisp and a very polite and cheerful Jade Wisp whom the group nicknamed Jade(1), with the young seven year old rabbit girl and her Chao happily playing and the nine year old fox explaining how they appeared when he was talking a walk and their youngest friends were happily picking flowers to make flower crowns. Sonic had also noticed how the Wisps were wearing small flower crowns on their heads which he thought was really thoughtful and adorable.
Right now, today they and Amy, who had been invited by Cream for a day of playing, all hanged out in the park together as Sonic took a day off while Sun and Star, who had just moved into Station Square and were on a secret date, and no one could've asked for a better day like this.
"Wheeee! Wheee! Wheeee!" Cream cheered as she was carried in the magical sphere created by the Jumping Wisp and two of the white Wisps along with Cheese.
"Isn't this just beautiful? This is so lovely today." Amy remarked as she, a Yellow-curl-haired Wisp, and Jade were gazing at the flowers, and the two girl aliens squeaked and babbled in agreement.
Sonic smiled as he watched his friends, before gazing up at the sky where he knew that the Planet Wisp was out there somewhere, and the cute little aliens now had a way to travel back and forth between the two worlds. He chuckled as the White Wisp on his head nuzzled into his fur and quills.
"#&$ &$%% $% $#...#$ % #%% .(Awww, I wish you, Tails and your friends could come with us back to Planet Wisp for a visit. It would be great.)" The White Wisp babbled.
"You know what?" Sonic began, smiling softly. "I'll bet Planet Wisp is just as beautiful now as it had been before Eggman showed up. Your home world is one of the coolest places outside of Mobius I've ever seen. It would be cool to see it again for a little while."
While the little alien on his head knew that he needed Tails to translate what it said, it was greatly surprised and then very happy that he unknowingly agreed with it to it's own wish to have the two visit. Cheering on in excitement as an idea formed in it's mind, the White Wisp flew off of the cobalt teenager's head and flew over to Yacker who was having a chat with the nine year old kit, much to Sonic's confusion as he wondered what was going on.
"Huh? Hey, what's up?" Tails asked, also confused, while Yacker, blinking in curiosity, flew over to the White Wisp and the two chatted which he translated to see what they were talking about just as Sonic came over along with the others when Yacker call up the other Wisps, the ones who were playing with Cream and Cheese gently set them both down.
By the time they finished and the Wisps seemed to like the White Wisp's idea, Yacker hovered over to the fox cub and told him on the request the other little aliens asked. When he read through it, he blinked in surprise and smiled brightly.
"What's going on, Tails? What are the Wisps talking about?" Amy asked, puzzled.
"Yacker and the other Wisps want us to come with them back to their planet, via the White Wisp's request for a visit, and they said that Sonic somehow agreed to that idea when he said it would be cool to see it again." Tails translated, surprising his friends and older brother who blinked in surprise.
"Really?" The aforementioned blue hedgehog asked, gazing at the White Wisp he'd been hanging out with who blushed with a beaming look in it's eye, even though he admittedly still found it awkward that their smiles were invisible, but their eyes spoke for said smiles which made him happy. He then shrugged, a bit sheepishly. "Wow, great minds think alike."
"#%$ ..." The White Wisp giggled while the Jumping Wisp flew around in pure excitement, as though getting ready to use it's power to teleport all of them, before Sonic quickly held up his hands.
"Whoa, take it easy, little guy. Of course we can visit, but uh, first we gotta get permission from Cream's Mom and Tails' and my folks and Uncle Chuck are visiting us for a couple of weeks." Sonic apologetically explained.
"Maybe our families would like to come with us." Cream suggested. "I'm sure my Mom would love to meet them and I bet Mr. and Mrs. Hedgehog and Uncle Chuck would love to come too."
"Sounds good to me! Mrs. Hedgehog would love to see it and I can't wait to see Planet Wisp for the first time." Amy happily agreed.
"Not I'm so sure about that. They might want to stay here on Mobius." Tails muttered hesitantly.
"Well, all we gotta do is ask. Besides, it'll be like a family vacation." Sonic reassured, liking the idea himself. The last time he went on a family trip was before he became a hero, which was roughly around when he was his little brother's age.
This seemed to please the Wisps as Yacker spoke once more, with Tails translating through the Miles Electric. "Yacker says that we can take as long as we need to get ready for a visit."
"Great! How about we leave in a day or two? First, let's go talk to our folks at Cream's place and maybe we can ask Sun and Star if they wanna come with us too." The hero of Mobius declared, really excited to be visiting Planet Wisp again after three months, and the adventure in saving Space and Time a week ago doesn't really count.
Everyone cheered at this, even though the young two-tailed fox was a bit uncertain, but he always had faith in his best friend/big brother.
Maybe it will be fun. More fun than the last day trip.
Two days later...
As it turned out, Vanilla granted permission to let Cream go with them even though she was a bit uncertain despite that she, and Sonic and Tails' parents Jules and Bernadette and even Uncle Chuck did see that the little aliens were very gentle and adorable, and even agreed to come with for the trip. Sun and Star though kindly denied as despite that it did sound like a lot of fun, they already had plans to visit the latter's father in Clocksworth Town for the week.
It was decided that Sonic, his friends and family would spend a week on Planet Wisp themselves even though the planet was small, but at least it was a beautiful place to have endless fun and plenty of room for the teenage blue hedgehog to run around in. Right now, with much needed essentials for their trip, the five hedgehogs, two rabbits, the two-tailed fox, the young Chao and the total of seven Wisps that came to visit Mobius all stood outside of Tails' workshop since it was agreed that they would teleport from here to Planet Wisp.
"Welp, is everybody ready?" Sonic asked his family and friends, who all nodded and confirmed that they were. He then asked the Jumping Wisp, who was, as it turned out, the same one who brought him and Tails to the alien world before. "Uh, just so you know, we're not in for another bumpy ride, are we?"
The Jumping Wisp shook it's head and babbled, as Tails translated. "It's not going to be bumpy at all this time. The Jumping Wisps have managed to successfully teleport without problems after a month and a half of practicing."
That made the sixteen year old sigh in relief. "That's a relief. Not sure if we can handle that kind of trip again."
"A bumpy ride? Did it happen before, Sonny?" Uncle Chuck asked, curiously as he and the other adults suddenly felt a bit uneasy for this ride.
"Uh...It's a long story, Unc'." The younger blue hedgehog shrugged, sheepishly. "But this happened two months ago and nobody got hurt."
"But you did get a little bit scared with the Jade Ghost Wisps and the Mother Wisp." Jules teasingly reminded, with Bernadette giving him a scolding look as she whispered his name.
Sonic blushed in embarrassment over that, knowing that his father would never let him down over his overreaction, which was understandable given how the teenager thought the Jade Ghosts were Nega Wisps that didn't turn back and he had fought against the Mother Wisp in her Nega form after she had swallowed Eggman alive and engulfed Sonic before the blue hedgehog saved himself with Chaos Control. The hero of Mobius had been nervous and afraid that she wouldn't trust him, but after hearing that she had saved his life after he restored her to normal even though he'd fallen unconscious during that time, so he hadn't been awake when she caught him with one of her tentacles.
But she proved to be just as gentle and kind and allowed him and Tails to ride on top of her head, giving her full trust to the two Mobians.
"Dad...!" The cobalt speedster grumbled, trying to stop himself from blushing even further.
"Now, now, dear. Don't embarrass the children. In which case, I'm looking forward to meet these adorable little aliens' mother. She sounds like a caring mother to me." Bernadette said, hoping to save her son from further embarrassment.
"So do I. It would be wonderful to meet her." Vanilla agreed with a warm smile.
"Well, if everybody's ready, then no time like the present. You guys are gonna love Planet Wisp!" Sonic declared to the group.
Once everyone announced that they were ready even though some of them, mainly those who had never been to Planet Wisp before, which made sense since Sonic and Tails were the only Mobians so far to have ventured up to the beautiful alien world, the two brothers signaled the Jumping Wisp to fire it away.
"Ready when you are, Jumper." The blue hedgehog announced, giving the cobalt Wisp a thumbs up and a wink.
The Jumping Wisp, nicknamed Jumper, cutely saluted before using it's power to fly around the heroes and their families who stood perfectly still while Yacker and the other Wisps floated still as well, the power of the cobalt alien surging up until they all vanished from the Mystic Ruins and began their trip to Planet Wisp.
By the time the light faded, Sonic realized that unlike the last time, the ride wasn't bumpy at all. In fact, it was almost like the scenery did the change and he and his family didn't move at all. Yet he knew that they did, because once everyone's visions adjusted back to normal, the familiar sight of the most breath-taking alien planet came into view.
The familiar knee-height green grass, the gorgeus flowers of all kinds, the giant trees with vines hanging down yet they were shaped like giant flowers themselves, the rock cliffs and canyons and grassy hills and fields, and the clear blue sky with white clouds, and this galaxy's sun very much like the one that gave light to Mobius. To Sonic and Tails, it felt great to be back in the familiar place that felt like heaven to them. To Yacker and the Wisps, they were happy to be back home.
To Amy, Jules, Bernadette, Sir Charles, Vanilla, Cream and Cheese, it was the most beautiful place they had ever seen. The seven of them breathed in absolute awe at the beauty of the planet they, Sonic and Tails now stood in.
"Oh...my..." Both Bernadette and Vanilla breathed.
"Wow! Is this Planet Wisp? I've never seeing anything like it..." Amy breathed in awe as her eyes sparkled, as did that of the two kindly Mobian mothers.
"It's so beautiful..." Cream remarked, feeling like she was in a very wonderful and fun dream.
"My jove...this is the Wisp' world?" Sir Charles whispered.
"I've never seen anything like it." Jules added, his eyes wide in awe and disbelief, wondering if he had died and gone to heaven.
Sonic and Tails both chuckled as the former gestured to their family and friends. "Yep. Welcome to Planet Wisp!"
"It's so lovely." Bernadette remarked, clasping her hands together.
"Absolutely wonderful." Vanilla agreed.
Yacker and the other six Wisps flew around excitedly around the Mobians and single Chao, just as they all heard more familiar babbles and alien like voices that were just as cute and turned to see more Wisps flew around and appear and, upon seeing not only seven of their own kind having come back home, but they brought in their two favorite Mobians along with six unfamiliar Mobian and one Chao, almost easily seeing them as Sonic's family and friends. They all immediately cheered including the newer Wisps that Sonic and Tails met in their previous visit who were happy to see the blue hedgehog and two-tailed fox again, hovering around them and greeting the visitors who were amazed, delighted and surprised to see so many of them.
"Hey, guys! Long time no see." Sonic greeted happily, before laughing when three White Wisps, two Laser Wisps, a red around Spiky Wisp, a Hammer Wisp, a Violet Wisp, and even two Cube Wisps nuzzled and hugged him on his body and head. "O-Okay, okay! T-take it, easy! I missed ya guys too."
"It's so good to see you all again!" Tails cheered as he was having the same welcome back treatment, giggling away.
Yacker in the meantime spoke in Wisp language and informed the Wisps that gazed at Amy and the others that they were all friends and family to Sonic and Tails and thus were given a very friendly and warm welcome as well.
"Hi there." Amy greeted, giggling when a yellow-haired Wisp beamed at her before it flew around her babbling away happily. "Awww! You're so cute!"
"It's so nice to meet you all. I hope we can be great friends." Cream greeted at at least seven Wisps, before turning her gaze to Cheese. "Don't you think so, Cheese?"
"Chao, Chao, Chao!" Cheese chirped happily, which the small aliens thought he was cute too and couldn't wait to play with them.
"My my, aren't you all friendly little rascals?" Sir Charles chuckled, gently stroking a Green Wisp who chirped happily, loving the affection the older hedgehog was giving it.
Realizing that the rest of the Wisps needed introductions, Sonic, once free from the hugging fest as he gently pushed them away to get them to settle down, then introduced the aliens to his and Tails' parents and uncle, the pink hedgehog, the two kind female rabbits and the Chao which almost instantly earned the aliens' trust, before the newer Wisps that the sixteen year old and the nine year old met two months ago flew around them babbling away in excitement.
"#*$&% &%^& $^ &? $^&$*& ^$^% #! $^$& ^$^ *$&& ^$^?(Are you gonna be staying for more than a day? Please stay for a while! Pretty please?)" The younger Wisps babbled with stars and puppy like looks in their eyes.
"The younger Wisps are asking and pleading for us if we can stay here for a while." Tails translated.
"Don't worry. We'll be staying here for a week for a vacation. Everything's fine now, so we've got plenty of time." Sonic promised with a smirk and a wink. He did feel bad for what happened the last time, but he, Yacker and the Mother Wisp had to be gentle but very clear that the blue hedgehog and his best friend/little brother couldn't stay on Planet Wisp forever. But that didn't mean they couldn't come for visits and he was happy that the Wisps can visit Mobius whenever they wanted now too.
The new Wisps all cheered with joy and flew around their favorite Mobians who both laughed, as did their parents, uncle and friends who all felt this to be heartwarming given Sonic's talent in making friends, cheering others up and saving everyone from danger.
Things were really going to be fine here.
"I can't wait to have some fun here! This is gonna be the best vacation ever." Amy said happily.
"You're in luck, Ames. This place has tons of areas even I haven't seen yet." Sonic responded, giving his girlfriend a thumbs up.
Everyone couldn't wait to get started as they all really felt relaxed and excited in spending some time here on Planet Wisp.
A/N: I think this is going to be a two-shot story since I've been struggling with it for a while now. But don't worry, hopefully this won't take as long and it'll be done by sometime this week. I also hope that this is also making you feel a little bit better danielman21 and again I'm deeply sorry for your loss and hope that you and your family are getting as much support as you need.
