Chapter 28: Burn that Flag
The crew plus a bit more were all standing on that roof. There were many glares, the Quartet were all especially glaring at Kalifa.
Not that she could blame them, while under cover they were close.
However the glares were very harsh even to those that even close to them.
Because they were holding the captain captive after all.
Those in the CP9 weren't sure how to react to the group.
But it was quite the ensembled group…
This wasn't just any group…
This was a group of some very dangerous people as well…
And they were all there to rescue Luffy.
However Spandam couldn't help but to open his mouth.
"Even if you're all assembled! There is no way you can beat us!" yelled Spandam.
"You have no idea what we're capable of!" said Setsuna.
"Just because you sailed with the pirate king means nothing!" said Spandam.
"This has nothing to do with me sailing with him!" yelled Setsuna.
"What makes you say that! Unless you are trying to make him int other new Pirate King!" yelled Spandam.
"This has nothing to do with him being the pirate king!" yelled Setsuna.
"You're right! The power he holds will soon be mine!" yelled Spandam.
The other members of the CP9 all looked at him.
Even they could feel the wrongness of that sentence … but he was also an idiot so they decided to shrug it off.
After all he was known for being a huge idiot and coming up with ideas that were bad.
"Even if the power will be mine you're still facing off against the might of the World Government." Said Spandam.
"Yeah! We don't care…" muttered Zoro.
"Some of us know exactly the kind of power the World Government Holds." Said Sabo.
"He's right." Said Setsuna.
"And we barely know about the world government." Muttered VesVes.
"We are from a time where there was world government." Said CereCere.
Spandam swirled at this… after all this was serious.
However Luffy was laughing.
He had faith that they would rescue him.
"Stop smiling you Idiot!" yelled Spandam.
"You're the idiot!" laughed Luffy.
"What's that supposed to mean!" yelled Spandam.
"It's true!" laughed Luffy.
Spandam glared at his hostage then decided to punch him.
Thanks to the barrier he ended up hurting his hand .
Which only made Luffy laugh even more.
"She chose to work for him?" asked Junjun with a sweat drop.
"She did…" said VesVes.
"Honestly…" sighed CereCere .
The rest of the CP9 just rolled their eyes and ignored what he was doing.
Spandam gritted his teeth as he faced the group.
"You might complain… but I don't care!" yelled Spandam.
He gestured to the world government flag.
"Don't you have any idea of what you're doing coming here!" he yelled.
He looked at the ensembled group and remember that yeah… there were revolutionaries in the group.
"This flag represents all 100 plus countries in the world government! You go against us! You go against this flag!" yelled Spandam.
All of the crew members look at the flag.
"Do it!" yelled Luffy.
They looked at each other and Usopp clearly was the one who knew he had to be the one to do, it was the sharp shooter of the crew after.
He took out his new slingshot model, called the Kabuto and loaded up a special new ammo. He shot out an ammo that resembled a firebird right at the flag.
The CP9 Watched in horror as the flag burned.
Robin glared at Spandam.
"If you hadn't gone after Luffy, you would have gone after me…" said Robin.
Spandam looked at Robin.
"You would have used my past against me… despite everything…" said Robin.
She looked right at Luffy and tried not to cry at him.
She knew how they were now connected and how she felt about him…
"This is a sign!" yelled Robin, "This is a sign that all of us are willing to burn to world if it means if he's safe!"
Spandam was shaking in anger at this.
Franky on the other hand had was laughing.
"You have no intention of ever reviving it? Do you?" asked Franky.
Robin knew what he meant.
"No I don't…" said Robin, "I was given the choice at one point and I made sure it could never be found…"
Franky grinned.
"You know I've been wondering how are we able to hear each other?" asked PallaPalla.
"Let's not question it." Said VesVes.
That was when Franky took out some papers from somewhere.
"Wait! Are those!" yelled Spandam.
"The blue prints for Pluton!" laughed Franky.
Everyone was shocked at the fact he was holding them.
"The reason why I felt onto them for so long was because I was afraid that you would revie it." Said Franky, 'But considering everything…"
Before any of the agents could grab it for him he used his fire breath to burn the papers he held, ensuring that no one would ever be able to building the horrible weapon ever again…
The CP9 members were surprised, while Spandam was beyond angry.
Luffy however laughed even harder than before.
After all everything was now going to hell for the CP9.
"You have ruined everything!" roared Spandam.
However that was when Zambai revealed he was there from the other side of the bridge.
The two talked about everything.
However Spandam took this distraction to push Franky off the tower.
However that was when there was a loud crash followed by a horn.
"What's that noise?" asked Nami.
"IT sounds like the Sea Train…" said Sabo.
"What!" yelled CereCere.
"I get the feeling that something going to happen." Said Usopp with a sweat drop.
"It should be very interesting,." Said Setsuna.
"You're right." Said Robin with a smirk.
"They're nuts…" sighed Nami.
"There, there…" comforted Koala.
They turned to where they thought the Sea Train was coming from and indeed the Sea Train was headed straight towards them.
"Are you kidding me"! yelled Nami.
"All right! I think we should jump." Said Sabo.
"It might be our only plan to get to the other side." Said Setsuna.
Nami just sighed…
But it was clear that was the only thing that would get them across the bridge.
Because it was clear that draw bridge wasn't going to move by this point.
And with the Sea Train, things were going to get interesting for sure.
