summary: Monkey D. Wyvern a man who was unknown to almost every marine had appeared in war easily beating the red dog
as well as claiming to be the adoptive father of Monkey D. Ace now Gol D. Ace after learning his father has loved him dearly!
Ace, thatch,and whitebeard Lives!
Knowing what was about to happen, Ace adjusted his body to fulfil his duty as the older brother: protect Luffy from harm at all cost, even if he has to be a human sheild ,But instead of the pain, he heard a loud clash
taking the chance, Ace quickly pulled Luffy away before they turned to behold the sight of Akainu visibly straining with his fist of magma against a pipe held by a middle aged man, recognizing as Monkey D. Wyvern
"uncle vernie!" Luffy cried.
"who the hell are you ," Akainu growled in frustration.
"Dad !" Ace shouted shocked. "what are you doing here?"
The man was silent for a moment before answering. "am I not allowed to go to the execution of the child I took in?" Ace just blinked, confused as fuck.
"jezz did you think I'm some weak-assed old man from east blue who told unbelievable stories which were true? "
Again the silence stretched over the battlefield as all turned to watch. "I um" ace began whistling along with luffy
Well, truth be told they do think he's just a weak guy from east blue, Wyvern looked ready to burst after being offended
"aren't those too big words for an unknown person," Akainu snarled
"Actually," Wyvern smirked.
Faster than anyone can see Akainu was flung away like a little fly
"hm.. aren't those words too big for you?" he smiled teasingly
Without a word, Wyvern turned around, one hand pulling out his bottle of alcohol from god knows where, while the other dragged the two idiots by the arm. they were too distracted to realize what was happening when has dad/uncle vervie been so strong? trying to make do with the impossible idea of his uncle/dad's undeniable amazing power
the bastard arrived
With a scream the traitorous Teach charged forward with so much confidence in beating the man who took him in well, that definitely did not last long
Smirking, Whitebeard swung his haki coated bisento throwing blackbeard into the water to sink while the bastard's subordinates cowered in his presence
"My sons! we head back to the new world" the field roared with glee, members and allies of whitebeard were long gone with their- ACE! where's ace?! oh god they forgot him and it was too late because they seemed to have submerged already
fits of coughing could be heard behind them
"um hi?" Wyvern said with a small smile ignoring the two kids who have eaten devil fruits and were dragged into the water together with him so that they could reach the moby on time
"DAD! I'm made of FIRE!"
"UNCLE! THAT WAS SO FUN"
"GU RA RA RA RA what an amusing family ey?" Whitebeard said amused no, astonished by what his eyes have just witnessed
"uncle, why didn't you tell us you were so strong!"
The man was silent for a moment at Luffy's question, while Ace stopped his own drinking his whiskey from the table which have been set up by thacth for their return party. Finally, "you'd probably go 'uncle vernie! fight me I'll prove to you I'm worthy of becoming pirate king' or 'woah uncle you invaded the prison cell where the pirate king was held at just to tell him you'd protect ace without being found'." the man must have noticed what he said quickly denying the last part
the crew nodded in understanding before also realizing what he said in the end, questions like:
"YOU DID WHAT?!"
"INS'T THAT I DON'T KNOW SUPPOSEDLY THE MOST PROTECTED CELL BECAUSE ROGER WAS KING?!"
Wyvern smiled sheepishly, "so dad.. are there anymore secrets you have yet to tell us?"
"oh nothing, just the fact that I was meant to be the first mate of the red haired pirates!" he said with a chuckle
