I'm writing for the fun for now, but with a clear goal in mind. I want to write my own original story someday and thought this would be a great practice. I do not come from an English speaking country and have never been in one, so I apologize for any potential grammar and spelling problems, bad structure of sentences and so on. I try to catch errors when writing by spellchecks and fix some grammar issues, but that's all I can do for better readability, I'm no editor after all.

I'm currently working on my story Force of Lightning Bolt. I have about half of the 6. chapter written so far. But I'm still tinkering with it. After that, I would have to do some corrections, spellchecks, and such as usual. I will try to post new chapters weekly / on Fridays, but it's on a soft spot. It depends on my ability to keep up. Also next week I have some IRL stuff to do, so I may not have time to write.

Any and all work on 5. chapter of Flickering star on the moonlit sky is halted for foreseeable future. Currently, I'm not sure if I continue it or not. If I write anything these days, it's for my other story. Hopefully, it will keep me entertained for longer.

About Harry Potter world and population in my stories:

- Approximately 300 children in Hogwarts in 1991.

- Magical Great Britain population about 4500 - 5000 people.

- Every class in Hogwarts is shared with one other House to have a workable time schedule for teachers.

I do have my own starting 40 (first years) based on books, films, and The Notes. I even made a spreadsheet in excel for it, hah. But not everyone made the cut and will have to add some OCs in there, probably for older students than in Harry's year. There just isn't much available information for it. Obviously, everyone named in the books will be present without changes. I thought about changing Neville's affiliations but stuck with canon one, him having a strong belief that he wants to go there (father, pressure from Gran). I never really had a problem with Hermione as she has some of Ravenclaw's tendencies and qualities, but in my opinion, she does have just as much as Gryffindor ones. As for all the others, they fit just fine.
