Avatar and Alvarez! It's one year later, and Lucy tries her best to move on from Fairy Tail's disbandment. But a fateful encounter, and a voice in her head, tell her that Fairy Tail's time is far from over. Their biggest battle against Zeref is on the horizon, and everyone is ready to help save the world from the Black Wizard's ambitions!
.
.
It has been one month since the Ishgar's Strongest tournament, and the battle against Prometheus and Yggdrasil. Peace returned to Ishgar as a whole and there were no signs of any chaotic plans stirring up. Where did this leave Lucy and the rest of Fairy Tail for the time being? In Seven. They were attending the wedding of Ace and Tia, making a few final preparations before the ceremony began. Mirajane was helping Tia with some finishing touches on her makeup. When she was done, she stepped back and smiled. "I'm all done. You look beautiful, Tia."
Tia stood up, wearing a beautiful white dress, and her hair was tied up in a ponytail. She gave herself a once over, smiling when she turned to the mirror. "Thanks, Mira. I was really worried about this…"
"How do you feel now?" Lucy asked, tilting her head slightly.
"Really nervous…but excited too." Tia admitted, placing a hand on her chest. "God, I hope I don't burst out crying when I'm walking down the aisle…"
"Can't you just use your magic to make sure the tears don't fall?" Cynthia asked.
"That's not the point!" Tia huffed. "My crying face is so not cute! I need to look prepared when Ace and I look each other in the eye and say our vows!"
"I'm sure you can do it!" Lisanna cheered.
"Uwah…Juvia hopes that one day she can wear a wedding dress for Gray-sama…" Juvia had hearts coming off of her body. Somehow, she was getting absorbed in her own personal fantasy. This made everyone laugh a bit.
Tia then turned to Lucy. "Thanks for being my bridesmaid. I felt it was only right to ask you, since you were so stubborn in being my friend all the way back then."
"Of course!" Lucy said with a bright smile. "It's an honor and I won't you down!" Because of the whole frozen in time thing, she missed Alzack and Bisca's wedding. But she got to be a part of this!
"And after this is done, when is it your turn?" Tia said while raising a brow.
"W-What…!?" Lucy's eyes went wide, her cheeks turning red. "I-I don't exactly plan on getting married for a little while longer, you know…! I don't even know if…!"
"You don't know what, Lucy?" Mira brought her hands to her lips, snickering quietly.
"Yes, please share." Anna asked with a teasing smile. She was very much interested in the romantic life of her descendant.
"T-Today isn't about me!" Lucy waved her hands frantically. "It's Tia's special day! We're all here for her!"
"And that reminds me!" Tia suddenly shot up. "Keep your boys under control! I know how chaotic all of you can get under the right conditions, but I will not settle for that at my wedding, do you hear me!"
"Y-Yes!" The girls nodded. Tia was absolutely the type to turn into a bridezilla if things didn't go her way…but considering she invited the entirety of Fairy Tail to her wedding, it made sense.
"I don't think we have to worry about too many of them." Erza said while crossing her arms. "I'll be sure to keep Natsu and Gray under control. They're the worst ones."
"Gajeel has been good lately. So I think we're okay." Levy said while patting her stomach. It was showing some signs of growth.
"Good." Tia relaxed and sat back down. "Also, Lucy, er….that applies to you too. I invited someone else and their plus one is…well, you'll see." She was still a bundle of nerves…
"You'll be okay." Bisca said with a reassuring smile. "I know exactly how you feel. But the moment you two lay eyes on each other, those nerves will vanish. Trust me."
"Okay…" Tia was going to take Bisca's advice. After all, she was the married woman here.
Heartless then knocked on the door, appearing with Diamond. "Tia, it's almost time."
"R-Really?" Tia gulped.
"We'll go get ready." Lisanna told Tia.
Everyone started to leave the room, giving Tia some space in the final moments before her wedding. But she reached out for Mira nervously. "Hey, Mira…um….can you…walk me down the aisle? I just realized how difficult it is to walk in this thing."
Mira paused for a moment, but she gave a soft smile and a nod. "Of course."
.
.
Ace was adjusting his tie, looking himself over in the mirror. "Oh man…is it normal to feel like you're gonna throw up?"
"Don't actually do that." Gray said.
"Are you really that nervous?" Strong questioned and Ace just nodded.
"Yeah, dude…but happy too? It's a really weird feeling." Ace replied. "I'm sure the nerves will go away soon enough, but I can't help but be anxious thinking about it."
"I know the feeling, friend!" Alzack laughed, patting Ace on the back. "Don't worry…the moment you see your beloved in that dress, those worries will melt away. The only thing you'll be thinking about is spending the rest of your life with her."
"Considering you're the married man here, you can't be wrong." Ace laughed a bit. He then turned to Natsu. "…And can you try to save the antics until after the ceremony? Tia's probably doesn't want blood on her hands today of all days."
"What? I'm not the problem here!" Natsu said defensively, pointing at Gray. "You should be talkin' to him! He's already missing his pants!"
Unfortunately for Gray, Natsu was right. "What!? Oh come on!" Gray gasped, looking down at his underwear.
"Yeah, you gotta fix that." Ace pointed at Gray.
"Don't worry." Laxus said reassuringly. "I'll make sure these idiots don't go off the rails."
"Thanks, Laxus." Ace nodded. "And hey, when it's all over, we got food from Al Dente! for everyone to enjoy! Tia was really adamant about making sure they were the service. I guess their food is just that good, huh?"
Joker didn't even knock on the door. He just opened it. "It's time. You have to be there first after all." And then he left and closed it.
"…I see he's the same as ever." Freed sighed.
"He's actually the one who set the venue up…" Spade whispered. "He thinks we don't known…and it's probably for the best that we never mention it. This is literally the nicest thing he's done."
"Giehehe…he's a softie after all huh?" Gajeel laughed.
"Sounds like someone else I know." Elfman gave Gajeel a knowing grin.
"You wanna settle this later!?" Gajeel shouted. He specifically said later, because he wasn't so rude as to ruin a special day like today.
"Looks like I was worried for nothing…" Ace gave one final laugh before heading out. "Alright guys…let's do this."
.
.
Everyone took their seats in the wedding venue. Ace stood at the alter with Heartless, waiting for Tia to emerge. When she did appear it was with Mira, helping her walk down the aisle in her dress. It was as Alzack and Bisca said: the moment they laid eyes on each other, all of their worries vanished. They only saw each other and the future they had together. Tia's orange eyes softened when she stared at Ace, making her way to the alter with Mira's help. Once she was there, Mira took her seat. There were a few other people attending the wedding not allied with Fairy Tail: Emerald, Emeraude, Little Queen, Brandish, and Sophie. They were in their own seats, though.
"Sis…" Jack was stunned at his sister's beauty. As much of a hardass as he tried to be, he definitely couldn't help the smile on his face.
"…You look beautiful…" Ace was completely stunned by Tia's beauty. His heart wouldn't stop beating.
"You look handsome." Tia said with a soft smile.
"Ahem." Heartless cleared her throat.
Daigo then appeared. He was the one who was going to officiate the wedding. "We are gathered here today for the union of Ace and Tia. Before we begin, if anyone has any objections, speak now or forever hold your peace." Of course, nobody said anything. With this, he turned to the two of them. "I understand you've written your own vows?"
"Yeah." Tia reached out, taking Ace's hands in her own. "We've been through a lot together, Ace. Good times, bad times…through thick and thin, you've always tried to make sure you were there for me. Even when I didn't notice it or appreciate it, you were always there. So I promise to do the same for you, no matter what. Through sickness and health…and through you're really annoying habit of eating snacks too loudly…I will be there for you. I love you, and I will love you with all my heart forever and always."
"Haha…" Of course Tia would take the jab at his habits. "Nothing's going to change for me. No matter what happens from here on out, I'll give it my all to protect you. We're in this together, so I hope you don't get sick of me too fast. I love you too, Tia."
Jack then remembered his role here. He was the ring bearer, and he presented Ace and Tia's rings to one another. "Hey, Ace. If you make her sad, I promise that your illness will not be the only thing you have to worry about. Do you understand me!?"
"Jack…!" Tia understood where he was coming from, but still…
"Don't worry…I'll be sure to remember that." Ace nodded. After he said that, he and Tia slipped their rings onto one another.
"You may now kiss the bride." Daigo said, closing his little book. Tia and Ace swore their love to one another, sealing their union with a kiss. As they did that, everyone started to clap for the newlywed couple.
After the kiss was over, Tia turned around with a bouquet of flowers handed to her by Spark. "Okay ladies, this is the big one. We know how this goes. It's time for the bouquet toss!"
"Wait, already!?" Lucy gasped.
"JUVIA NEEDS THIS." Juvia nearly turned into a feral beast. She needed to grab those flowers!
"I would…like the flowers." Erza wasn't asking either. She was a competitive person and there was no way she was missing out on this.
"…Are you sure this is a good idea, knowing everyone?" Ace asked with a sweat drop.
"No, but it's funny." Tia winked before tossing the bouquet into the lion's den. The ladies jumped for it frantically and a comical smoke cloud appeared in the wake of it all. She was really curious as to who would grab the flowers, but as luck would have it…it landed right in Levy's hands.
"Oh-!" Levy smiled and waved the flowers around. "I caught it!"
Erza, Juvia, Laki, Kinana, and Evergreen were all very dejected about it. "Bested by Levy…" Erza sulked.
"She didn't even move. You all were too focused on pushing each other out of the way." Cana remarked while taking a swig from her flask. But she laughed because she found this hilarious.
"Ah, youth…" Gildarts said with a fleeting smile. "Reminds me of my days back when I…"
"I don't wanna hear about it, old man." Cana silenced that sentence before it even started.
"Uh…are the flowers really all that important…?" Romeo asked his father. He didn't quite understand the significant behind it.
Macao laughed and patted his son on the shoulder. "You'll understand when you're older!"
.
With the main ceremony over, the party could begin. Natsu was already helping himself to the plentiful Al Dente! food. "This is so good!"
"Make sure to leave some for everyone else!" Happy whined.
"Yeah, leave some for other people. This isn't just for one person." That was Blair. Despite her usual tattered appearance, she cleaned up nicely with a black dress. "Keep it moving." Natsu grumbled and piled his plate high before leaving.
Keele stared at Natsu, slowly approaching him. "When this stupid wedding is over, we're gonna fight and settle the score."
Natsu already stuck a chicken leg in his mouth, but he grinned and spoke with his mouth full. "Hell yeah!"
"Keep it moving!" Yuki shouted. The last thing she needed was Keele encouraging Natsu into a fight. She then turned to Keele. "So…did everything work out with your sister?"
"Of course it did! My brother and I never fail when it comes to her." Keele said smugly.
"…Good." Blair mumbled under her breath. At least they were able to do something…
Lucy was looking around until she spotted Emeraude. "Em? Er…I wanted to ask, but what are you doing here…?"
"I am my mother's plus one." Emeraude explained while grabbing some food. "She saved the bride's life in the battle last month, so an invitation was extended to her."
"I was invited." Brandish said. Her plate was small, but thanks to her magic…that really wouldn't be a problem. This glutton could and would make any degree of food last. "And Little Queen really wanted to come and meet Sophie, so I brought her along."
Lucy looked over to the side, where Little Queen and Sophie were conversing.
"So…since I was made from you, does that make us sisters?" Sophie asked while tilting her head. She had the mark of White Eclipse on her hand once again, now that she was fully revived.
"I am your older sister." Little Queen said in a high and mighty tone. "Do not forget that."
"So I have two now! Mom sent Riley to White Eclipse to look after me. Riley's really cool!" Sophie said with a smile.
"Riley? Oh…" Little Queen pinched the bridge of her nose.
Lucy smiled softly at the sight of Sophie. It felt like everything was finally right after all this time. She then turned back to Emeraude. "How's everything in Alvarez?"
"Just fine." Emeraude said with a nod. "We're back on track, and the relationship between Fiore and Alvarez has been restored. Everything is back to how it should be between Hisui and I as well. Now…how about Fairy Tail? Have you all found those annoying Wizard Hunters?"
"I wish…" Lucy sighed. "They're totally off the grid again…Princess Ena said that Rajaron left as soon as the battle was done. No doubt they're still out there, and that we'll cross paths again."
"Unfortunate." Emeraude shrugged.
"Oh, that reminds me…" Lucy remembered Mii's last words. "Mii told me to tell you something, before…"
"What was it?" Emeraude was surprisingly attentive.
"…She said you were the best friend she could ask for." Lucy said with a sad smile.
Emeraude's gaze went down a bit, before she nodded. "I see…."
"…We set up a grave for her in Magnolia. There wasn't a body left…but her hat and the rest of her sword are there. You should visit sometime. I'm sure she'd like that." Lucy said while rubbing her arm.
"I'll be sure to someday." Emeraude was honest. She then turned on her heel and started to walk off.
"One more thing." Lucy said and Emeraude stopped. "If we ever have to fight again…I'm not gonna lose to you, Em."
Emeraude turned around, letting out a laugh. "I don't intend to ever lose to you. In fact, if it is a fight you wish for right now…" That's when Emeraude felt Tia's presence looming over her. They were a few seconds from a bridezilla. "….In fact, out of respect for the bride, we can discuss this later."
Lucy was sweating. Never before had Tia felt so intimidating. "….Good idea. But until then." She held her hand out. "Rivals, huh?"
"Being a rival means I would see you as my equal. Which I cannot allow to happen." She said this, but shook Lucy's hand. "So I do not intend to ever be on an equal playing field with you. I must retain my superiority."
"That's such a you thing to say." Lucy said with a slight smile.
.
"Oi, Sophie!" Natsu approached Sophie, who greeted him with a smile and wave. "What's the news at White Eclipse!? Anyone new need an ass kicking?"
"Well…" Sophie tilted her head. "We do have a few new members, a lot of new faces actually! But you're wondering about the others…Jaxon stepped down as the guild master and Sidney is there instead. Luke is the ace of White Eclipse, with Cygnus, Selene, and another person being S classes!" She recalled the memory fondly, standing along with everyone else as Sidney was named the new guild master, while Luke was named the ace. "I even heard Jaxon is starting to date that one Martell girl..."
"Duke is the ace!?" Natsu's eyes widened. How did Luke get such a position before him!? That wasn't fair! "Heh, well, I guess this means I just kick the ace of White Eclipse's ass and bring an end to that argument! When we get back home, that's the first thing I'm gonna do!"
"Can you not think of fighting for like, a day?" Carla said from afar.
"It's Natsu-san…I don't think that's going to happen." Wendy said with a small laugh. She then turned to Cynthia. "How is everyone at Cosmic Star?"
"Alex tells me they're doing just fine!" Cynthia replied with a thumbs up. "They've been kept busy with a lot of work, but that's a good thing. Gaia even tells me that Daryan and Kagura are getting along great now too! Verona left the guild though…she said she was going to reflect on what humanity has to offer."
"I'm glad everything is working out for them…" Wendy smiled. "I hope everything works out for Verona-san, though…I wanted to thank her for everything she did."
"Me too." Cynthia said while placing a hand to her chest.
Cana was at the bar, drinking it up. Vernal was the one handing out the drinks too. "Hit me again!" Cana said with a slurred smile.
"I like this one!" Vernal laughed, pouring some more wine in Cana's glass. "We've got plenty to spare, and I'm a woman that likes to please!"
"Leave some for me!" Gildarts said while sitting next to Cana. They were truly father and daughter at this moment, enjoying drinks together.
"You two are the spitting image of each other." Laxus was enjoying his drinks in moderation.
"Oh, be easy on them Laxus." Mira said with a slight smile. "It's a party and they're enjoying themselves. You should too."
"I've got drinks for you, Laxus!" Freed said, sliding up to Laxus' side.
"We have drinks for you, he means!" Evergreen shouted.
"Seriously, dude! Stop trying to take all the credit for everything!" Bickslow was in agreement with Evergreen. It was a good thing Tia only invited close friends to this wedding, otherwise it would've been a disaster.
"I've got drinks for all of you! Come on now, don't be shy!" Vernal said while papers flew around with a myriad of wine bottles. "Cut loose, it's on us!"
"Mind if I get in on this?" Zelos slid in, taking a seat next to Mira.
"Of course, you're free to enjoy yourself, Zelos." Mira smiled. "But remember your punishment. You betrayed the guild, so you can't flirt with anyone. I'll know if you do." Mira was smiling sweetly, but Zelos felt the intimidation behind it.
"R-Right…as you say, Mira-chan!" Zelos tugged the collar of his suit. Mira sure was scary when she wanted to be.
"We should've done this a long time ago." Lisanna teased. But regardless, she invited Zelos for a single drink. Even if Lisanna didn't care for the taste that much, she didn't see the harm in an occasional drink.
Lucy looked around the wedding venue with a soft smile. Everyone was so happy and enjoying their time together. The past few months were really hard on everyone, but it was great at long last to finally have fun like this. Lucy had a drink in her hands and she took a sip, only to fan her face after this. "Wow, that's strong…!" She laughed to herself and took one last look at everyone. "We've really come so far over the years. It's been filled with ups and downs, good times and bad times…but in the end, we've always made it through. I couldn't imagine my life without Fairy Tail…"
.
.
It was nightfall in Fiore. Luke was looking out of the balcony, watching as Reve walked off. "It'll only be for a little while. I'm still a member of White Eclipse." Reve said as he walked. "But since you're the new Ace now, it's pretty much up to you at this point, Luke."
"…Hah." Luke laughed as Reve walked down the mountain. Reve was leaving on a job, one that would take a while. The state of White Eclipse was slowly changing now that Luke was the ace of the guild. He glanced down at the old and new members mingling with one another. "We've definitely come a long way…"
"Getting nostalgic on us?" Selene said while slinging an arm around Luke's shoulder. "We're only just getting started, you know?"
"Don't get complacent." Sidney said to them and every single new member of White Eclipse. As guild master, Sidney didn't plan on intervening much on the growth and training habits of the guild, but he was going to set down an important ground rule. "Your rank in the guild is subject to change. If you lose to someone of a lower rank than you, they take your rank, it's as simple as that. Complacency will be the end of you, do you understand?"
"You don't have to tell us twice!" Cygnus said with a wide grin.
"This is just so we keep improving." Waiston said firmly. "But that said, I'm gonna steal those spots from you Luke, Cyg! Don't get too comfortable!"
"Not before I do!" Reiss shouted to Waiston.
"Get in line! I'm gonna topple all of you!" Kanade exclaimed.
"Tch, don't sleep on us rookies…although I don't think it's right to call us that anymore." Reiss crossed his arms.
"We're just as powerful as the rest of you." Micaiah said confidently.
"And we'll prove it!" Ilaria added.
"That's right!" Vanya nodded.
"You heard 'em. You've got a lot of competition now." Jaxon said while crossing his arms.
"It's just like old times." Aira snickered.
"The only competition to White Eclipse is White Eclipse itself." Luke said with a wide grin. "Sabertooth, Blue Pegasus, Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale, Black Phoenix…they're all nothing compared to us. Because…it's White Eclipse…"
"OR SECOND PLACE!"
.
.
"Are you sure you didn't want to go to the wedding?" Ultear asked while sitting next to Jellal. "You could've seen Erzaaaaa." She teased.
Jellal smiled, but shook his head. "I'm still not used to such large gatherings. Besides, I can see Erza anytime I want now. That part of my freedom is one I appreciate greatly. How are the others doing?"
"Just fine." Meredy said with a smile. "They tend to gather around at Sabertooth a lot, I can't say I blame them. Sorano has really made that place a party now. I heard she came in second place at their eating contest! Minerva won again as always…Ultear keeps in touch with Lamia Scale too, because of Lyon and all. They're doing well over there too."
"Good." Jellal nodded. "I'm glad to hear that."
"And what about you? When are you gonna join a guild?" Ultear asked.
"…I can't say I've thought about it." Jellal shook his head. "No, that's a lie. I think about joining Fairy Tail every so often, but my current mission to rid the world of darkness is…"
"It can wait." Ultear said with a reassuring smile. "You're not alone in this fight. Meredy and I are with you the whole way through…and the others are as well. We travelled this whole damn country together after all."
"…I'll be sure to remember that, Ultear. Thank you, both of you." Jellal looked up at the night sky. The fight against darkness in the world wasn't going to be an easy one, but he knew that with the friends he made by his side, he would be able to see it through to the end.
.
.
"I see…so everything truly is back to normal." Hisui was reading a report from Kemuri. She was curious about the movements of Pergrande and Joya after the incident last month. Ashnard made no moves and Count Waltz didn't either. While those two countries were something to keep track of, for the time being, everything was peaceful in Ishgar.
"That's right." Kemuri was on the other line of the lacrima communication.
"Thank you for this report." Hisui smiled. "With this, we can rest easy. Hopefully we can do this for a long time, too." Being the Queen of Fiore wasn't easy at all, but Hisui had the determination to ensure her people were safe.
"The Council will be ready in the event that anything happens, Your Majesty." Kemuri said while turning off the communication. "And soon enough…"
.
.
A few days passed since the wedding of Ace and Tia. It was business as usual back in Magnolia. Lucy was walking down the streets; idly listening to the people she walked past. A new issue of Sorcerer's Weekly came out with Jenny on the cover. It was a listing of guilds and top tier mages from them: such as Ichiya and Blue Pegasus, Leon and Tristan from Black Phoenix, and so on. Lucy had one location in mind: the graveyard. She walked and saw Natsu and Happy already there, waiting for her. "You guys too?"
"Yeah." Natsu said with a slow nod.
"Do you still feel bad…?" Lucy asked.
"I know Mii did everything she wanted to…but I still wish I could've burned her fate like I wanted to." Natsu admitted. "But she still went out the way she wanted to…"
"Aye…" Happy nodded.
"I know how you feel." Lucy placed a hand over her heart. "If she had that strength sooner, I know we'd be laughing with her in the guild right now. But I'm glad she found that strength at all. Hearing her swear to live…seeing how far she went to protect us….it made me so happy."
"Me too." Natsu said with a slight smile. "I just…don't want to lose another guild mate again if I can help it."
"She protected us. So we have to make sure, for her sake and for Makarov's…that we keep living, and having as many adventures as we can. I know that's what they want from us." Lucy said with a firm nod.
"That's the least we can do!" Happy wiped his tears.
"Heh, yeah! We still got a ton of work to do! We've partied enough, but it's time to get back to business!" Natsu said with a widening grin. Just like that, he was back to his old self. Just then, a strong, sudden gust of wind blew past them. It blew Mii's hat from the grave and off into the town. "Hey!"
"Mii's hat!" Lucy gasped. "We have to go after it!"
"It went that way!" Happy pointed. The trio quickly chased down Mii's hat, watching it fly in the breeze overhead. It then fell down and landed on someone's head. But the trio stopped when it did. "No way…!?"
It landed on the head of a woman with red wavy hair. She was wearing a black and yellow dress and wore black heels. She felt something land on her head and turned around, noticing Natsu, Lucy and Happy. When her hair moved from the breeze, she only had one eye…it was green. The other eye had an eyepatch over it. "Oh, I'm sorry…is this your hat…? It just sort of fell on me."
"M-Mii…?" Lucy gasped. But no…it wasn't Mii. This woman looked like Mii and felt like her…but it was someone else. It felt just like when Mavis and Zeref were reincarnated…
"…" Natsu was stunned into silence. Because his nose didn't lie…it smelled just like Mii. Was this…Pandora's doing? Was this the surprise she said she had in store for them?
"Hm?" The woman blinked once. "Oh, so this is yours!" The woman approached Lucy and handed her the hat. Lucy took it, and that's when the woman noticed the pink guild mark on Lucy's hand. "Oh! You're wizards from Fairy Tail aren't you?! Thank goodness…I was actually looking for some!"
"What for?" Happy asked.
"I was looking for the guild!" The woman nodded firmly. "I woke up the other day after a really strange dream. A voice was telling me to go to Fairy Tail…it was a familiar voice too. I can't really explain it, but I knew deep down that this is where I had to go! It took me a few days to actually get here, though. This town is so huge, I got lost the moment I stepped forth here."
"Heh, we'll gladly take you to Fairy Tail! It's not too far away from here!" Natsu said.
"Yeah, just follow us!" Lucy took the woman's hand. It was the surge of excitement that made her follow Natsu and Happy to Fairy Tail.
"Wagh! Okay, if you say so…!" The woman said, quickly following behind Lucy as she was pulled along.
Natsu pushed the doors open to the guild, where he was greeted by everyone. "Took you long enough to get here!" Gray said with a grin.
"What took so long?" Cynthia asked, sipping some juice.
Lucy then walked in with the red headed woman, and everyone's jaws dropped to the floor. "Sorry, we were paying some respects to Mii's grave and then we ran into…um…" Oh, wow. Lucy then realized that she didn't know this woman's name at all. "I'm sorry. I was so excited to bring you here, I completely forgot to ask you your name!"
The woman laughed a bit, brushing her hair behind her ear. "It's okay! I already really like this place…it feels like home." The woman said before giving a respectful bow to everyone. "Hello everyone, it's nice to meet you. I um…I wish to join your guild! I know this is very sudden, but I had a very strong urge to come here!"
"Is that so…?" Erza spoke with a soft smile.
"That's all well and good…" Laxus said. "But you still didn't answer the question. What's your name?"
"Oh, whoops!" The woman sheepishly laughed and closed her eye. "My name is Miyu Yggdrasil. It's a pleasure to meet you all."
"Miyu…" Lucy mumbled that name under her breath. She then handed the hat back to Miyu. "Here. I think this looks better on you."
"Really…?" Miyu took the hat and put it back on. "You know, it does feel right. So, um…can I join your guild?"
"You can't say nooo!" Zelos whined to the others.
"Don't even think about it." Mira told Zelos.
"Of course you're welcome to join, Miyu." Erza said with a soft smile. "We'll be happy to have you."
"Where do you want your mark?" Laxus asked, holding the stamp that held the Fairy Tail guild mark on it.
"Hm…" Miyu pondered this for a moment, before turning around and pointing to the center of her back. "Right here!"
Laxus did just that, pressing the stamp to Miyu's back, giving her the mark of Fairy Tail. "There you go. You're a member of Fairy Tail now."
"Yay!" Miyu jumped for joy. "Thank you so much! I promise, I won't let you down! So, where do I start!?"
"Wherever you want!" Natsu exclaimed. "We've always got a ton of work to do! The adventure truly never ends around here!"
Miyu's green eyes sparkled. This was exactly what she wanted to hear. "Perfect! Let's get started! I want to get to work as soon as possible!"
"Then you've come to the right place!" Lucy said with a wide grin. "Just leave it to us and we'll get you ready to go in no time, Miyu! Oh…and one more thing…" Lucy gestured to the others, and they all knew what to say to welcome their new guild mate into their family.
"Welcome to Fairy Tail!"
Miyu snickered at such a warm greeting and had to give one in turn. "Hello, Fairy Tail! I'm ready for my never ending adventures with all of you!"

Fairy Tail – The Final Chapters: FIN
Writer's Note: And at long last, we have finally reached the end of this fic series. It started in 2013 off a single dream that I had one day, and I wanted to make that dream a reality. I have been writing this fic for over eight years now, ever since I was 16. I've been doing this for about a third of my life, and this fic means a great deal to me. I am very happy to have seen it through to the end, and I'm also very grateful for all of you that have read and supported me over the years! A have a special thanks for all of my friends who've helped me with this fic and have been with me since day one. And of course, to those who have been reading since the beginning, or to the people who saw this fic and decided to read the story from start to finish, I'm very grateful to you all for giving my story a chance. I can only hope you enjoyed it as much as I did writing it! Will I eventually do 100 Year Quest? At some point, but that will be a long time from now. For now, I'm going to let Fairy Tail rest after these long years of writing it. I hope to see you all again in my future projects, and once again, thank you very much for joining me on this eight year long right. The adventure never ends!
